Wedding flowers and decor

We hired Bloomwood for our wedding flowers and I gave her my inspiration and they ran with it. While also staying within our budget and gave us advice on ways to cut cost. We decided to transport the flowers our selfs to the wedding and rehearsal. They packaged the flowers wonderfully and gave us advice for travel and storage before set up. I was so happy and the flowers stayed fresh and beautiful just like she said. She picked flowers that were easy to care for but also beautiful. Really a wonderful experience. Would recommend to anyone for any event using flowers. Thank you so much!

Absolutely magical!!

Bloomwoods was absolutely amazing. We booked them to do our wedding florals and they did a beautiful job! Our wedding colors were kinda of difficult to incorporate into florals with oranges and blues but they did the dang thing! Everything we wanted was represented beautifully and even our consultation to talk through everything is informative and helpful. Everything from the bouquet to centerpieces to a couple of items we rented just turned out perfectly. And an above all, everything was very reasonably priced. They will work with you to include florals that are more price friendly if are finding that things are getting alittle too much.

Thank you so much y’all! I just get so happy when I look at my photos and see all of our beautiful flowers with the perfect pops of color.

Irene was so great our entire floral process. She created our vision even better than we expected. Bloomwoods made our experience so easy as they provided so much! Not only did they do an amazing job on the arrangements, they also set everything up, and provided so many other things to rent. I could not have pictured a more perfect floral setup for our wedding!

Ambiance achieved!

BloomWoods was incredible at working with me to achieve the mood I was looking for in my wedding day! I wanted an English garden meets relaxed southern vibes and their team achieved what I was going for beautifully. Not only did they come in under budget but answered emails thoroughly and timely. They were a pleasure to work with and previewing the flowers the day before was so nice.
I would recommend the team maybe change their paperwork they send the bride when she signs their contract though... I am happy to write a thank you note after the fact, as I did with all of my vendors- but being told to do so BY the vendor put a bad taste in my mouth.

Kim and her ladies were amazing to work with! They made me the most beautiful bouquet for my wedding and were very flexible with the whole pandemic situation. They are true artists and make lovely displays with flowers! I highly recommend for your next special event, wedding, or any occasion!

More than I imagined

Bloomwoods went above and beyond for my wedding. The whole team did such a fabulous job and it was stunning. The colors flowed perfectly and it really brought everything together. I gave Kim my colors and left the rest to her. Pictures say so much more than words.

Beautiful Flowers and Friendly Team

Kim and her team were so amazing to work with during, what can be for most, a stressful time. I was planning my Georgia wedding from New York, but Kim worked with my busy schedule and made time to talk on the phone and also responded to my emails in a timely manner. She understood my vision from the beginning, and surpassed my expectations with the final product. The bouquets and centerpieces were absolutely beautiful. Not only was the work product amazing, but Kim and her team were the sweetest to work with and they made me feel supported throughout the entire process, even making last minute calls the day of the wedding to help my dream of a fairy tale wedding a reality. I would highly recommend Bloomwoods. You deserve the best on your wedding day and they certainly deliver.

Creative and Great to work with!

Kim and her staff at Bloomwood Flowers and Events are great to work with. She met with my daughter to pre-plan and was so attentive to every detail. The bridal bouquet was exquisite and the bridesmaid's bouquets were also what she had envisioned, but even prettier! Kim shared video snippets of both bouquets as they were built giving us such confidence that they would be what my daughter wanted. Extremely professional and creative and an absolute pleasure to work with!

Beautiful and Sooo Helpful!

Kim and her staff at Bloomwood’s made my wedding absolutely gorgeous. She saved my Pinterest board that I created for my flowers and made it fit my budget and vision to a T. My bouquet was my absolute favorite part! I can’t thank them enough for also helping me out with decor and coordination when I had an issue with my wedding planner. So helpful and beautiful!

I absolutely loved working with Kim! Her team and her made my dreams come true, I could not have asked for a better florist. My flowers were absolutely beautiful. I also want to say that her assistant Matthew answered my every email, and there was a lot and always had a smile on his face. I tried a few other florists in town, but when I sat down with Kim she immediately knew what I was asking for and just went with it. We had a venue change and a few additions to our order the month before the wedding. She was kind, flexible, and creative. I highly recommend Kim and her staff at Bloomwoods.

Our family has worked with Bloomwoods for both our daughters' weddings. From the first consultation to clean-up, we were very pleased. The online price estimates for the various components helps you plan your budget, and Kim works within that budget - if anything, she goes beyond her responsibilities! Kim pays great attention to the bride's wishes, and the viewing of the bouquet and other pieces on the day before allows for any necessary tweaking the bride might like. I have also ordered other arrangements, which have been equally wonderful. I would highly recommend Kim and her staff for any of your floral needs. Thank you, Kim, for being such a dream to work with! I didn't have a moment of concern on either wedding day!!

Kim Nelson and the Bloomwoods staff did such a WONDERFUL job with the flowers for our daughter's wedding. Additionally, we feel like we gained a new friend. Kim had also done our son's wedding last June. She was able to surpass our daughter's (and our family's) expectations by providing the exact of style of flowers and arrangements based on several meetings with my wife and daughter, and by e-mail communication and sending of sample photos. I really want to highlight that in addition to the BEAUTIFUL flower arrangements that Kim did for us, we were also so impressed and blessed by her attentiveness during our meetings. She showed much compassion and attention to detail as she accommodated us regarding several special situations with respect to the flowers and wedding party. I would HIGHLY recommend Kim and her staff to anyone needing flowers for any event. Bloomwoods will provide quality service and product and will take any of your special concerns to heart--in addition to crafting the most beautiful floral arrangements you could ever imagine. I remember calling Bloomwoods a month before my wedding day in complete hysteria because I realized my plan of doing my own flowers for my wedding was just not going to be possible. Stephanie answered the phone and was so sweet and reassuring. I still remember her saying, "Don't you worry sweetie, we are going to take care of you. You are going to have some beautiful flowers for your wedding day." And boy did I ever. Kim and the whole team brought my entire vision to life. Kim even let me come in for a viewing the day before to look at my flowers and make any changes I would like. She takes such pride in her work and wants her customers to be 100% satisfied. In high school, I was skimming through a magazine and I saw Kim's beautiful arrangements depicted... I dreamt of having Kim do my wedding flowers ever since then. I fell in love with her and her work, so I ended up working with her over a few summers during high school. I was lucky to get to see her creations every Saturday, while we would set up the lucky bride's arrangements on-site...silently hoping I would be that lucky one day. Years went by and I found my sweet husband. It was finally my turn! With no hesitation, I called Kim. It was a dream being on this end. I was finally the lucky bride who got to have beautiful arrangements made by Kim! The arrangements she created were above and beyond what I even imagined!! I shared my "wedding" pinterest page with her and she worked her magic. It was even more beautiful than I could've ever imaged. Our guests came up to me during the wedding and commented on how beautiful the flowers were and continued to tell me well after the wedding. Kim is by far one of the most talented florists I've ever seen and she has a heart of gold. You will not regret using her services.

Kim Nelson at Bloomwoods was everything and more that I ever could have expected from a florist! Kim is the absolute best! She is truly an artist and she uses flowers as her medium. She was able to really pull in and focus all of my creative ideas and copious Pinterest pins. She was able to translate my vision into reality. One of the best services that Kim offers is the Floral Preview. She does it for all of her brides. She shows you exactly what your bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, and centerpieces are going to look like. If there's anything that needs to be tweaked, she's more than happy to do so. I think this makes her services far better than any other florist. She takes the time to get to know her brides and connect with them. And she delivers amazing work!

She also did my brother's wedding 4 months before mine and my sister-in-law had the same terrific experience with Kim that I did!

Kim was hands down the easiest vendor I worked with!!
I started my wedding planning while I was living in the Caribbean, which was pretty stressful. Kim made it so easy, she even offered to skype with me for our first interview!

I'd seen photos of her work and I knew I could trust her to create beautiful winter decor for my wedding. Admittedly, I was ultra flexible because I didn't have a preference on flowers, I just had a vision. But I basically told her my vision (winter romance) and then handed it all over to her and said 'go!' When I said this in our meeting her eyes got big and she got genuinely excited (which made me excited). I didn't have to worry about a thing.

Kim did an amazing job!! We rented a ton of candles from her, did the candelabra and branches & lights decor for the ceremony, and then beautiful white & pink & greenery for the flowers. Everything was so beautiful!

Kim gives the bride a preview the day before the wedding to see the bouquets and what the centerpieces will look like. What a special treat! Not only did it calm some nerves, it reinforced that I made the right decision. She also offers this to do any last minute changes. I brought in a family heirloom handkerchief for her to wrap around the stem of my bouquet, which she happily did, and three brooches from my grandmothers, which she brilliantly incorporated into my bouquet.

I also love that her team brought everything, set it all up, and then broke it all down and transported it themselves. I didn't have to worry over any of that or rope family members into that job--which was the last thing I wanted to do!

Kim is so so talented! And such a sweetheart! Her team surpassed my expectations and I"d happily use them again!!

We used Bloomwoods for our daughter's wedding and Kim was absolutely wonderful to work with. She looked at what she hAF pinned on Pinterest and talked to her about what she wanted, then what she created was far and above what we expected! Beautiful work, extremely professional, top quality service and all within our budget! We were very pleased!!

She is truly a professional and really cares about making you happy! The office staff is super easy to contact and they are very good at communicating with you throughout the whole process! Kim and her team are amazing! My flowers we seriously beautiful and Kim was the most amazing vendor. She called me in the day before the wedding to look at my flowers and make any adjustments. Kim and her staff were amazing! I planned my wedding from out of town, which could have been very difficult. Thankfully I had wonderful vendors who helped me every step of the way. Where do I start? When you begin planning a wedding, you are inevitably overwhelmed by all the details and the budget. Flowers can one of those details. That's where Kim and her team come in to save the day. She really listens and wants to know your vision. She's down to earth and will stay within your budget. I told her what I generally wanted...something soft, romantic, and with mercury glass...and she took it from there. At the last minute, Kim and Ralph went the extra mile to make my wedding absolutely beautiful. Its best to allow them a little creative freedom so they can work their magic. I can honestly say that booking her to provide my flowers was one of the best decisions I made and I would not HESITATE to use her again.

I wanted something different for my wedding. I wanted something natural and elegant and a wishing tree that would cast its branches over my guests. Kim and I exchanged ideas through emails and phone calls. She was encouraging and supportive of my ideas. They did the flowers for my wedding and reception and they did an AMAZING job!!!!! It was like walking into a dream with all the different and beautiful centerpieces. I told her the types of flowers and colors i wanted but i did not have a photo of the exact thing I wanted. I figured they were the pros so I said be as creative as you want. Kim was amazing to work with! I was a bride from Atlanta and trying to plan my wedding at Callaway Gardens. Given the distance, it was hard for me drive to Columbus during the work week to meet with her. She was very understanding and worked around my schedule to find a time to meet. We met on a Saturday and instantly clicked - she immediately saw my vision through my jumbled suggestions of flowers and colors, and came up with something much more beautiful than I could have imagined! She was also very respectful of budget restrictions and was not put-off when I asked to remove some of the items to reduce the cost. She was such a blessing when I freaked out on my wedding day about logistics, and she rearranged the delivery time to meet my needs. She also knew and worked well with my cake lady to make sure all of the flowers were set appropriately on the cake and placed in the correct places at the reception. She is so nice and talented, and when you re planning a wedding you want someone who will be understanding, friendly, and awesome - Kim is all of those things and more!! Use her for your wedding - you won t regret it!

Kim and her whole team were so great at understanding what my vision for my wedding day was and transforming it into something truly breath taking. Kim spent so much time talking to me about what I wanted and using her artistic eye to create the perfect center pieces and ceremony decor. She offers so much more than traditional flowers for your wedding day. She helped to identify a "style" that was fresh and never seen before. I loved working with Kim Nelson! She is so talented and takes all the stress out of this part of planning a wedding! The entire Bloomwoods team was amazing! Kim was so great to work with! I was not very sure exactly what kinds of flowers I wanted so Kim took the time with me to look at pictures, ideas for the venue, and idea pictures I had brought in to her. She took all of those and combined them with a vision better than what I could have thought of. The flowers for my wedding were perfect! Working with her I knew that the flowers for my wedding were one thing I did not have to worry about! Everything from the bouquets, to the table decorations to the aisle flowers were very unique and reflected the style I wanted.

Kim Nelson and her team did an AMAZING job on our wedding!! Kim was easy and fun to plan with--she took my ideas and visions and turned them into a reality. I was amazed at how well Kimberly at Bloomwoods understood what I wanted. Most brides don't ask for flowers picked off the side of the road, but that is what I wanted and that's exactly what I got. She did such a good job with the variety and arrangement.

Kimberly Nelson and her team are WONDERFUL. I am not very familiar with flowers, so I was having a hard time deciding what I wanted mine to look like in the beginning. Kim was SO helpful! She really knows what she is doing and loves her job. I walked away from our first meeting feeling so refreshed. She gave me so many great ideas and helped me make many decisions. I cannot say enough about Kimberly Nelson and her team! I gave a few ideas on what I was wanting my flowers to be and had complete faith that they would take my ideas and come up with something amazing...I hadn't cried the whole day of the wedding until I was handed my boquet. I even cried at the preview the day before. Kimberly Nelson was always quick to respond with any concern I had and although I had a tight budget when it came to flowers she was incredible at making every dollar count and giving me a end result that looked like I spent double what it actually cost. She is so easy to work with and I will always recommend her to anyone I know looking for a great florist. She truely cares about each individual, remembers who you are whenever you contact her and puts her heart into every arrangement. She was the first florist I contacted and after meeting with her the first time there was no need to keep looking. Without having specifics on what exactly I was looking for she put it all together off a few, and I do mean few of my ideas. I never had one worry when it came to the flowers for my big day...and one less worry is what every bride hopes for.

Kim Nelsons's Floral Design helped bring my wedding to life! I provided her with colors of the wedding and the vision I had in mind, and she made my dreams come true! She was very easy to work with, despite the 4 hour difference and made time for me whenever I was in town. WOW! Kim is every brides dream flourist! She totally exceeded my expectations and went above and beyond to make sure my flowers were exactly what I wanted. Kim was amazing! The flowers were gorgeous as well!!! I loved my bouquet so much I took it with me on my honeymoon and put it in the hotel as a centerpiece! :) I would highly recommend Kim for her great work!

Kimberly Nelson is by far the most creative reasonable florest in the GA /AL area. You will NOT GO WRONG with her! She is flat out amazing!!! LOVE her!

We had a winter wedding, deciding to go with pines and furs with cream and gold accents. I was a little nervous because it wasn't the "typical" wedding arrangement you see. I was so excited when I met with Kim though the day before to look over everything - it was PERFECT! She does an amazing job and really wants to make sure that it's everything you expected (and more)! She's wonderful and I would recommend her to anyone!

Kim was so great to work with. She new exactly what my style was and put together beautiful arrangements with gorgeous flowers that perfectly coordinated with my wedding colors and style. The cost was EXCELLENT! I never dreamed I could have such beautiful flowers at the church, in my bouquet, and at the reception on the budget that I had, and she arranged the flowers in such a way that I never could have dreamed of. Kimberly Nelson Floral Designs is just absolutely fabulous!!!

My wedding flowers almost didn't happen due to an uncooperative vendor. Then kim nelson contacted me and stepped in right in time. Even though she was totally booked and not available for my wedding day, she took fit me in and made my wedding flowers possible! She went above and beyond my expectation; working with all my needs and the design of my wedding! She is a true floral designer!!

Kimberly Nelson Floral Designs was absolutely wonderful. Wish I could have given them a 10/5 for the value for cost and quality of service. I am so glad I set up a consultation with them for my wedding. I had a tight flower budget, but got absolutely everything that I wanted and more! My flowers were so beautiful and I just absolutely loved them. They were just what I imagined. They were willing to work with my budget & my wish list. Very dependable; I didn't have to worry about a thing. I'd highly recommend them to every bride!

Kimberly was so awesome to work with! She was very very laid back and easy going. She really worked hard to not go over our budget. I loved the fact that she lets you view your flowers the day before and will change anything you don't like. It really helps ease your mind for one part of your big day!
Not only is Kimberly awesome as a person but she is also so artistic. I brought a few pictures but she created our bouquets, decor, wreathes, etc. using her ideas. It was perfect! I would use Kimberly Nelson again in a heart beat. She's the best!

Kimberly Nelson's designs cannot be touched by any other vendor in the area! She provided everything that my fiance and I asked for. I live in a small community where everyone uses the same florist. During my wedding planning I was constantly asked why I wasn't using "X's" florist. I would reply that I had a specific concept in mind and that Kim could offer me that at a great price. After my wedding a friend commented on my dark red peonies and the dark calla lilies. She said that she had wanted something similar and that "X" florist said they could not get them. I was right to choose Kimberly Nelson!! Our wedding ceremony and reception was beautiful and I owe it all to her!

Kim was great to work with. She helped me pick out the prefect flowers for me just by getting to know my personality and what I had in mind of what I wanted. When I went in the day before to see them they were perfect. She was there to delivery the flowers a little early and did the extra mist on them to make them look great for the ceremony. I will definately use her agian for anything I need.

I love Kimberly Nelson Floral Designs! I would recommend them to anyone! Kim is the sweetest lady and is an amazing florist.
She completely saved the day at my wedding. I was completely dissatisfied (to say the least) with the decorations at the alter; Kim (and her lovely assistants) rushed straight to the store, bought all kinds of stuff, and made the alter look stunning.
To date, (other than marrying the man of my dreams) my flowers were BY FAR my favorite part of my wedding. They were stunning and everyone who sees pictures raves about them. Not only were the flowers just fabulous, but I was and still am so impressed with Kim. She is cool, calm, and collected and by all means the epitome of a true southern woman. She's graceful, sweet, sincere, intelligent, and has left an impression on me that will last a lifetime.
Looking back on the day, it was so important not just to have someone who could do a phenomenal job, but who brought friendship and warmth to the transaction.

Kimberly was absolutely amazing! Not only were our flowers beyond beautiful, she was understanding and accommodating of all my pre-wedding craziness. Even when our venue changed her set up time, she took the potential crisis in stride. One of our best vendors!!!

Kim you did a great job!.. It has taken long to respond (which i apologize), but everyone loved the flowers the centerpieces and everything that had to do with floral for the wedding!... it was great! :) ... The flowers and everything were beautiful!.. i recommend you anytime that i can to people who are looking for a florist! :)

I would definitely recommend you to anyone for any occasion!!
