I was really concerned contacting this vendor as I only needed a bouquet for me and my MOH. I thought with such a small order they’d either tell me they couldn’t help me, or not pay attention to my requests. I was wrong. I really enjoyed working with Candice. I needed bouquets that were non-toxic for cats. She said she already had a list and looked up flowers/plants just to be sure. She also took time to answer all my questions. She was super understanding when I saw the bouquet she suggested and I told her I’d fallen in love with a different bouquet. We talked about substitutions and made sure to mention the pricing differences, which I greatly appreciated. Just a really great experience overall.
The bloominous team was a breath of fresh air to work with. They called and emailed to check up on us and the order and were always available if we had any questions.
My flowers were beautiful. Perfectly curated and fresh. The customer service was the best I have ever had. They were with me every step of the way. They were easy to put together and made for a fun girls night before my wedding.
Bloominous made all my flower dreams come true! Elizabeth was amazing at helping me create my perfect collection, and worked really hard around my busy bridal schedule to have them delivered at a time when I would be there to receive them. The communication was excellent and my flowers were even better! I was so impressed with how they were packaged, and how beautiful they looked on my wedding day. It took a lot more time than I realized to remove all of the guard petals (such an important step!) and get them cut and into water, so definitely be sure that you have helping hands. The assembly itself took even longer and I thought we might not make it at some points. That being said, I would 100% recommend Bloominous (the enormous savings in cost alone is worth it!), i would just be sure to allow myself at least an entire day with some help from others. I have gotten so many compliments on my flowers and my best friend and I always laugh and remind ourselves how much work they were, but how extremely worth it they were at the same time!! I would not change anything about Bloominous- excellent company!
I had a very small wedding, and didn't have a big budget for flowers. I was so impressed at the selection of choices, and flexibility to choose what I needed for my day. The flowers were beautiful, and the instructions on how to put them together were very easy to follow. I would highly recommend Bloominous to anyone who is on a budget or able to do some DIY.
Just like you I was slightly nervous ordering my wedding flowers, and thus was going through reviews. In the end I chose Bloominous and I am so thankful that I did for my 2/2/2018 wedding! I ordered my bridal bouquet, four boutineers and two corsages from the bordeaux collection. The flowers were delivered about an hour after the expected time but that was not a big deal. When they arrive each type and color of flower was packaged individually and had to be opened, cut and put in the flower water (NOTE: the roses faired excellently, so I recommend a rose dominated bouquet; greenery was also great!). I received my flowers Tuesday and got them in water, then put them together Wednesday for my Friday wedding and they looked great and faired excellently my bouquet is still in water a week later and looks great. I did have one type of flower not make it (the smallest one sent for my bouquet) it looked poor upon arrival and never got better but it was not a big deal as I did not love the look of the specific flower anyways. So overall everything turned out wonderfully for my wedding and I couldn't be more pleased; however, I do have a few things to note just to be transparent on the situation. My mom worked at a flower shop for ~10 years growing up so she had a lot of experience with building the bouquets, boutonnieres and corsages; without her experience the instructions given would be really challenging to follow and may not have resulted in the results we ended up with. I highly recommend watching many youtube videos and doing some reading before your flowers come and buying extra floral wire and tape. I would use floral wire to secure my bouquet roses individually and to secure the corsages on to the band. Communication is okay but less than expected they said they would call and check in, they never did!
I can’t say enough good things about the Bloominous customer service! I was in a time crunch and they worked with me to order flowers for our wedding two weeks away. Rachel who worked with me to get everything set up was amazing. When we had a snowstorm and the flower delivery was delayed, Rachel called throughout the day to give us updates and track down the flowers so we could pick them up for our wedding. Working with this company was by far the best decision I made for our wedding, not to mention the flowers were absolutely beautiful and they made sure I knew how to properly care for them and put them together for our big day.
I booked with Bloominous in May 2017 for my January 2018 wedding. My consultant made the changes I wanted, sent a proposal, I paid my deposit and she said she would "be there every step of the way." In November I emailed her to make a few final changes. I got an email from another employee that my consultant no longer worked with the company and asking if I received an email in September from another co-worker (who had apparently taken over my order and then went on maternity leave so my order was passed to the third consultant), which I had not, and they never followed up to see if I had received it. The email stated that their flower distributor would be closed for the holiday's and unable to ship my flowers in time for their scheduled delivery date. She also informed me that if I chose to move forward with my booking, I would be "forfeiting our normal guarantee for replacements and refunds". I argued this - I should not have to forfeit my entire bill if the flowers were damaged or delivered after the wedding - and a manager agreed to allow us their refund policy. However, by this point I had lost any confidence that things would still go smoothly. I decided to cancel my booking (which seemed like they were suggesting I do) and I asked for a refund of my deposit. They said they would arrange the refund right away. On top of having to find a new florist just over a month before my wedding, it has been two weeks since my cancellation and I still have not gotten my deposit refunded.
Hi Ellen. I've confirmed that your refund was issued. Sometimes our clients cancel credit cards or use up gift cards, but your bank should definitely be able to send you a check for your credit. Let us know if you don't see it.
We definitely wish we can help you with your wedding. But it's important as you can see in our reviews that we fulfill every wedding we commit to. We have never missed a wedding and we put all safeguards in place so you don't know need to worry.
If there's anything we can do (help you find a local florist), we can reach out to our network to see if we can get you your wedding flowers. Let us know if we can be of any assistance!
I would highly recommend using Bloominous for wedding flowers. For me, flowers were one of the most difficult parts of wedding planning. I live in Chicago and for the most part, the minimum offer for what I got from Bloominous (and Sam’s Club and Costco, I piecemealed a bit ) was going for a minimum of $4,000. It was really challenging to find an alternative where I could still get the flowers I wanted but stay within budget. Bloominous helped me achieve this. From Bloominous I received my bridal bouquet, 5 bridesmaids, 3 centerpiece arrangements (I used these more as large area arrangements set up around my venue), and 17 strings of greenery (I used these for my centerpieces). An important thing to note here is it does take a bit of work and an eye for design for this to be successful. Luckily, my mom and I took off work to handle the flowers when they first arrived and my aunt has the eye for design. For the flowers themselves, they arrivaled in great condition and opened up the few days before our wedding to be even more beautiful than when they first arrived. I mainly worked with Rachel and Elizabeth and they were both very responsive and great to work with! I went back and forth at first about choosing Bloominous but once I was on the phone with Elizabeth I knew I was working with professionals and that gave me the confidence to go with Bloominous. Overall, this was a great choice for me since I would take off work to help put the arrangements together and I was able to get the flowers I wanted for my wedding. I would highly recommend! Ps. From Sam’s club I bought 3 25 ft strings of garland, 100 ivory roses, and rose petals and from Costco I did my bouttineires and corsages. The price points at these places were a bit lower. All in with flowers I came to $1,500.
We used Bloominous for our wedding flowers in October. We worked with Elizabeth to customize everything, and I am so pleased at how it all turned out! At first we felt a bit overwhelmed because the flowers arrived in three ginormous boxes and we needed to use every bucket, vase, pitcher, and flower pot in the house to hydrate everything! We all worked together to follow the Bloominous recipes they sent and build our bouquets and other arrangements- it was a lot of fun! The price was very fair- we ordered enough flowers for 3 bridesmaids bouquets, an oversized bridal bouquet, cake flowers, 9 boutonnieres, 6 corsages, and 50 or so bud vases. We ended up having enough to tuck flowers into our hair, make toss bouquets, and press a few blooms for a scrapbook! I paid about $900 for everything, and was quoted about 3x that much for much less from local florists.
The only thing I will say as a bit of a word of caution is that I would recommend Bloominous to brides who like the offered Bloominous packages or for those who want to customize the packages but are not super particular. I say this because I ordered a ton of greenery that was supposed to be red and orange like fall leaves but they arrived looking very green, and not at all like I had pictured. It ended up working out beautifully, though, so not harm done, but if I had a hard-and-fast vision in my head, I would have been dissatisfied with what arrived. I had a great experience with Bloominous, though, and highly recommend them!
I was a very DIY bride. I wanted quality flowers at an addordable price. I searched and searched and eventually found Bloominous. I have nothing but great things to say anout them! I originally worked with Elizabeth..she answered every single question I had, accomodated every request and was so personable!!! When she left for maternity leave I worked with Rachel and Danny. There was an issue with my vases but they corrected it and sent the right ones the very next day! My whole bridal party helped out with assembling everything and we were all blown away with how great they flowers looked! I got everything I wanted and more and tons of compliments. It's been a week and my bouquet is still looking beautiful! Highly recommend!!!!
I was looking for an alternative to spending a fortune on flowers as I was on a budget. Bloominous seemed like a great option, especially after reading reviews. Unfortunately, my experience was not ideal.
The flowers that survived were truly beautiful. It is less expensive than a florist. The instructions were pretty easy to follow if you have any sort of creativity. I changed the color of my flowers once and they were very helpful and understanding!
I ordered 6 bridesmaids bouquets and only received 5. When I contacted the company, the claimed it was "impossible" that I had been shorted as they triple check orders. My designer claimed i must have made the bouquets too big. I sent her a picture and she agreed they were the appropriate size. I explained exactly which flowers were missing. Each bouquet had one focal point flower that was stunning. I was given 5 focal point flowers as opposed to the 6 that i ordered which is how I am sure I was shorted a full bouquet. Never received a refund or a response after that.
My entire bouquet & all 7 boutonnieres completely died. I understand flowers are fragile. I followed the care instructions but for whatever reason mine didn't make it. We had to run to Hobby Lobby the day before my wedding in order to make my bouquet & all 7 boutonnieres.
In conclusion, the greenery seemed to last better than the roses and ranunculus. My bridesmaids bouquets were from the eco chic collection and were gorgeous. I didn't expect a refund for the wilted flowers but I would have appreciated compensation for the bouquet I was shorted. I think this is a good company to use if you are prepared to compensate with fake flowers if the majority don't survive. I think for parties it would be fine, weddings are stressful as it is and it may be worth paying for a true florist if you want the best. I would have been better off paying for fake flowers versus spending money for dead ones.
Hi Meagan, sorry to hear about your missing flowers. Our quality guarantee provides replacements for anything that is damaged or missing. Let us know your order number so we can look up your order history. I'd be surprised that we didn't send you replacements so long as we were given enough notice to do so. Please let us know how we can help.
I have nothing but good things to say about the entire Bloominous process! We wanted lots of greens and something a little more unique for our mid-size brewery wedding, so we went with the Eco Chic collection! We slightly modified it to have a little more of our wedding color in there by adding in some blush carnations and wrapping the bouquets in burlap. The flowers arrived in perfect condition. We put them straight into buckets with water on Wednesday as the instructions said and then arranged them on Thursday. They stayed beautiful all the way through our 90 degree wedding on Saturday in Cincinnati, Ohio. The instructions are very easy to follow. There were 4 of us and we were able to arrange 7 bouquets, 12 boutonnieres, 3 corsages, and even a garland with extra flowers for one of our signs in about 4 hours. It was actually quite fun! Elizabeth at Bloominous was so easy to work with from the very beginning and super responsive. I would highly recommend Bloominous to any bride looking for unique, great quality flowers at a low cost! Thank you Bloominous!
I am so happy I picked Bloominous to get both my rehearsal dinner and wedding flowers from. Elizabeth was so easy to work with and always available if I had any questions. The collections I picked were the Desert Candy and Pineapple Party. Anyone who is looking for a more tropical feel with tons of color I highly recommend the Pineapple Party! The bridal bouquet was gorgeous! I love this company and can't wait for my next excuse to be able to order flowers from them.
I am so glad I went with Bloominous for my wedding flowers! I ordered the Party Pop collection and when the flowers arrived and got a drink of water, they sprung to life and were beautiful all through my wedding last Saturday. My maid of honor and husband's sisters helped me put together the centerpieces, bouquets, and boutonnieres and we had so much fun doing it! The flowers smelled and looked great. And Elizabeth was so easy to work with and responsive to any questions or concerns. I was worried as the wedding got closer that the flowers wouldn't hold up because we were looking at temperatures in the mid 90s, but they did great! Thanks again bloominous for such an affordable, but beautiful option for wedding flowers!
We couldn’t be happier with our experience with Bloominous! The shipping was right with the time frame they explained to us. Our flowers came in perfect condition on Wednesday afternoon and were absolutely gorgeous on our wedding day Saturday. I know I was worried about them lasting till Saturday and being good quality, but I assure you they were gorgeous Saturday! We had so many compliments & the time shared with my family and friends assembling them is a beautiful memory I will always have and will be able to share for the rest of my life.
Price was much more reasonable to us , the quality was amazing and the representative was so helpful and precise with responding to any questions or concerns we had.
Definetely recommend to bloominous !!!!
Working with Bloominous was one of the best and easiest parts of planning my wedding. Elizabeth was amazing and helped me customize arrangements to my exact taste. She was very responsive and fantastic to work with.
Our flowers turned out absolutely beautifully! I had so much fun making the centerpieces, and the night before my wedding, my bridesmaids and I had a sleepover and made our bouquets. It was such a fun experience, and we received SO many compliments on the flowers.
The week and day of our wedding were nuts - we had multiple things go really wrong, and our coordinator did not show up. We were running around like chickens with our heads cut off! It was SUCH a relief not to have to worry about the flowers at any point in time. They were delivered on time and were very well packaged - you can tell this is a company that genuinely cares about its customers. Every little detail was perfect. The flowers were better than I ever could have dreamed! Thank you Bloominous!!
I was so excited to work with this company for my wedding day. I started the process early and had a custom collection created, which was flexibility that a lot of the other DIY flower companies didn't allow. I worked with a designer who was very responsive to set up my order.
My wedding was a Saturday, so arranged for my flowers to be delivered Wednesday. I had quite a large order, so I arranged for several family members and bridesmaids to help me Wednesday night and Thursday morning with the arrangements. I received an email Tuesday evening informing me that my flowers were being packaged for shipment. Being that they were coming from CA and I was in Michigan, I was concerned about how they would be making it to me by Wednesday morning. I emailed my designer to confirm with her that even though they were only just being packed that they would be to me the next day. She assured me that they would.
Wednesday morning comes and as the 10:30 AM expected delivery time approached, I checked the tracking and it changed to Thursday. Hoping this was a mistake, I contacted my designer. She told me that delays sometimes happen (though the night before assured me they would be there).
Had this been the only problem I had, I would have rolled with it. Unfortunately, it wasn't. As we began arranging the centerpieces, half of the vases were not properly sealed and the water leaked out of them, creating a huge mess. Since they had been late, there was very little time to find a solution for this, and the one we found was less than perfect - they were unstable and the flowers in these arrangements suffered.
I contacted Bloominous to let them know about the problems I had. For a $1500 order that was late and half of the centerpieces leaked, I was given a $30 credit. I am so disappointed in this experience and b/c of these problems, cannot recommend this service to others.
Hi Kaylie, sorry to hear about your leaking vases and the delays. We are aware of occasional FedEx delays. Typically these are due to weather issues that are outside of FedEx's control.
As a way to prevent late flowers, we deliver flowers 1-day early on Wednesday for a Saturday wedding. This way, if your flowers are delayed, you still get them Thursday in time for your wedding. (We pack all of our flowers in ice to ensure at 48 hour transit even though we use Overnight shipping - typically 12 hours). This should have been explained to you by our team, so I apologize if it wasn't. We will go back and review your order to see if anything was missed.
I had an absolutely fabulous experience working with Bloominous for my 9/9/17 barn wedding in eastern Pennsylvania farm country. I used the Bloominous Gold Rush collection for bridal and maid of honor bouquets and sourced my venue and table flowers wholesale from the NYC flower district - knowing what I know now I would have used Bloominous for everything as the cost was comparable and I would have saved oodles of time on imagination and curation since the Gold Rush bouquets were the perfect fit for the venue. Assembly was the best part - the guide walks you through the strategy and manipulation of the bouquet, giving you a guide to which flowers should go in which arrangement, but really, once you have the flowers you can choose to follow the directions perfectly and get a great result, or do your own thing and get creative. I think my bouquets ended up larger than the guide and I loved them.
Regarding the flowers themselves, I was surprised to find that the seasonal flowers that I thought wouldn't be available were included in the delivery (woohoo!) and I was given a handful of extra stems which came in handy when I broke a stem during assembly. Plenty of greenery came with the flowers. Also, delivery came at the exact time and day (Thursday, 10:30am) that I was told to expect them and the flowers were in beautiful condition! I do recommend having more buckets on hand than you probably think will be necessary because the greenery can be bulky and some stems are fragile and clearly need more space.
This is such a great option for people who know the style they want, have a little DIY spirit, and want to achieve that $10K look without blowing their whole budget on flowers. 10/10 wish I could have another wedding and use Bloominous all over again.
I loved everything about Bloominous! I ordered 3 bouquets, 5 corsages, 8 boutonnières, bunches of eucalyptus, garland, and centerpieces for 10 tables (mostly from the Bordeaux collection, with a few customizations). I worked specifically with two designers and they were both fantastic. The flowers arrived right on time (early even) and were packaged nicely. The spreadsheet that comes with the order made everything so simple. I appreciated the extra stems because while I did have to swap out a couple for the planned arrangements, I still had enough leftover for additional vases that I had on hand. There were three people working on the arrangements and it took us less than 2 hours to complete everything. Today marks 12 days since my wedding (15 days since delivery) and I still have half my bridal bouquet looking decent and some of the greenery still looks great too. I honestly wouldn't change anything about the process and I've already recommended it to three other brides I know, one of which has placed her order! I had many guests ask who my florist was and they were all so impressed when I told them about Bloominous. Thank you for having such great customer service and communication and for for your part in making our day so perfect.
I absolutely LOVED Bloominous! I went to multiple florists and had my dreams crushed by how much my dream flowers cost. Even looking at Costco or other bulk flower stores I was overwhelmed, not knowing which flowers to choose. When I came across bloominous, i was amazed at the prices and the designs of the flowers and was worried it was a scam. However, When I called they answered all my questions and assured me the flowers would be good quality. The flowers arrived Thursday morning and my wedding was Sunday at 6pm and still looked beautiful. It was so fun to put them together with my bridesmaids and make them look how we wanted. We even used the extra flowers and petals to decorate the isle and the tables! I highly recommend bloominous, you won't be disappointed!
Last week I had the pleasure of working with Elizabeth on an order for my sister’s wedding. I have never dealt with someone that cared that much and made the process so seamless.
My sister was coming into CA from out of town and had been planning her wedding from her home state of AZ. She was also on a tight budget. She found Bloominous and was very happy with the price.
Her issue came when she read the email about when the flowers would arrive incorrectly. She thought it was going to deliver a day later than the initial email said. In a panic she called me because I work closely with FedEx and the flowers were going to go via FedEx. I put in place 3-4 plans in case anything went on and had my escalated FedEx team on point to counter any issues.
My sister had sent me an email from Elizabeth with her number on it. That is when I noticed the 310 area code. As if we were thinking on the same level when I spoke with Elizabeth next, she suggested we just send the flowers via a courier. The delivery was going to be made in Ventura county. This way, my sister didn’t have to miss her spa day with our other sisters waiting for the flowers.
Elizabeth coordinated with the courier to get the flowers out in the afternoon so my sister not only had time to have her spa services but also hang out by the pool a bit. Per my request, the driver let Elizabeth know when he was about 40 minutes out (the same amount of time my sister would need to leave the spa and get home to meet them) then Elizabeth notified both my sister and I.
My sister was able to beat the courier to the delivery location and the drop off went without a hitch. The flower quality upon arrival and the day of the wedding were impeccable. The instructions provided for my sister to make the arrangements were easy to follow and very professionally presented.
We could not have done this without Elizabeth. She definitely took a lot of stress off my sisters shoulders and for that I can’t thank her enough!
Super satisfied with the product. While local florists (I live in north NJ) charge more than $350 for a bridal bouquet, I had my bridal bouquet, two bridesmaids bouquets, four boutonnieres, and three corsages beautifully assembled with only a little over $300 (including FedEx overnight shipping) plus two hours of working with creativity. Personally, I found the experience fun and rewarding. I recommend Bloominous to all couples who plan to have a small to modest size wedding.
Very flexible! I changed my mind a few times and they were very accommodating and patient. Flowers arrived on time. A few of them were definitely dead (the single lavender stems) even after being in water for 24 hours but I ordered other flowers from online vendors for other flowers in my wedding so that helped to fill in. I put together everything with my bridesmaids and it was a fun activity to do together.
The flowers were delivered on time and the instructions were easy to follow. The only serious problem we had was as soon as we picked up the succulents out of the box they fell apart. We ended up having to go out and buy fake ones. The only succulent that did not crumble apart was the one for the Bohemian bride bouquet. This confused me as to why that would happen because everything else was of the highest quality.
Also, I ordered something labeled as "Wood Flower" which I didn't realize was a legit wooden flower. I thought Wood Flower was the name of the flower! When I checked it out on the website it says nothing about it being wooden. I think the confusion wouldn't have happened if the name of the flower was "Wooden Flower". That way it applies that its actually wood and not real. However, this was a minor problem because it did look real and it was pretty, so I seriously didn't mind- just figured I'd let you know how I interpreted it!
In all, the flowers were beautiful and so unique- exactly what I was looking for! I had so many compliments and questions on what types of flowers were in the bouquets because they were so exotic!
Bloominous was also very helpful and quick to answer any questions or fix any issues and that was a big deal for us.
