Sophie and her team were fantastic for my bridal party! They made us all feel incredibly comfortable and beautiful. We hired Sophie and her team for airbrush makeup and hairstyles for my mom, my mother-in-law, my 7 bridesmaids, and for me (the bride). We had skin tones and hair textures of various kinds, and they did phenomenally, ready for all shades and styles. They were kind, supportive, and made the process fun. 10/10 experience from Sophie and her team! Great communication, very professional, and super sweet! I booked a trial with Sophie and left feeling so gorgeous. I then had a trial with my wedding day artist Lourdes for bridal portraits and again felt so gorgeous! They both made me feel so comfortable and relaxed, and listened to all of my questions and changes. My wedding day went flawlessly, we had Lourdes and Fabi and all of the bridesmaids looked so stunning! I felt so beautiful too, I can’t thank them enough for such an awesome experience! -

Sophie provided hair & makeup services for me as a bride and the MOB, MOG and all of us felt so beautiful! Sophie really listened to what we wanted and made sure to make us feel comfortable in our own skin. During my initial makeup trial with Sophie we tried 5 different buns until we got it right - she wanted me to love it & wouldn't settle until we found the right fit. After the trial I gave Sophie feedback on how the makeup lasted/I felt and we discussed possible changes. Day of, she checked in, and I felt gorgeous! Sophie is extremely talented - whether you are looking for a natural soft glam like me or a full glam she is your girl. I had a great time working with Sophie and Blooming Beauty and would recommend her to any bride!

Sophie was amazing not just at her outstanding hair and make up talent, but everything in between. She is such a kind, funny, professional and loving person. She always went above and beyond. On wedding day, everybody loved her. Even my mother who despises make up absolutely love the outcome that Sophie did on her. Everybody looked beautiful make up stayed all night, Even through all the happy tears. Overall, Blooming Beauty Co. exceeded my expectations and I if I were to do it all over again I would book with sophie just as fast. -

Sophie was such a joy to work with!! I wasn’t crazy about a couple things from the trial but she was able to easily make those adjustments on the wedding day and helped me feel so confident walking down the aisle! She did an AMAZING job at keeping the makeup looking glam but still keeping me looking like myself which is exactly what I wanted. And that makeup lasts ALL DAY! I had a July wedding with outdoor pictures and an active dance floor and my makeup did not budge once! My updo stayed pretty amazingly too. If you are looking for someone to feel comfortable and confident with, Sophie is your girl!!! -

Amazing hair and makeup company
Sophie, the owner, is helpful and clear with any questions you bring to her. She is very communicative and prompt responding to and updating clients. I, the bride, received hair and makeup for my wedding day along with a trial run. I do not know much about makeup, as I don't wear it often, and at my trial I had inspo photos and Sophie easily took it from there. The makeup was beautiful and natural looking. When we were discussing my hairstyle, she worked with me and gave advice on how best to structure it for what I wanted. Sophie did both my hair and makeup on the wedding day. I also received a touch up kit with my bridal package.
I had four bridal party women get hair and makeup, and two received only hair services. Karla did their hair and Sophie did the women who wanted makeup. Both Karla and Sophie did a wonderful job on achieving everyone's desired look.
Sophie recently moved her studio to the Galleria area and the new location is great! There was great lighting, some snacks and drinks were available for clients, and Sophie had a speaker playing music for us while each bridal party member waited to be called.
I highly recommend using Blooming Beauty Company! Sophie is professional and knowledgeable and it shows in her company. With her services, you do not become someone else for your wedding day, rather, you become a more beautiful version of yourself. For someone who doesn't usually wear makeup, I was grateful that I could still see myself looking back at me in the mirror. I still look at the wedding preview photos from two weeks ago and think "dang, I look hot!". -

Book blooming beauty
Sophie and her team were a DREAM to work with. They did hair and makeup for my bridal party (4 girls), mother of the groom and bride, and my bridal hair and makeup. Every look they completed was exactly what my girls had asked for, and SO well done. Our hair and makeup lasted ALL day through this July Texas heat, and was just absolutely beautiful. Sophie and her team were so kind, helpful, and REAL. They blended so well with my bridal party, and brought so much joy to our getting ready room! Blooming Beauty Company is the BEST in the area!
Sophie and her team were an absolute JOY to work with during my wedding. From the booking process to the day of the wedding, Sophie was so sweet and professional during the whole process. She was attentive during my trail and made sure I loved everything about my hair and makeup. She gave me tips and recommendations when it came to the vision I was going for and it was so helpful to have her professional perspective. Sophie and her team did makeup and hair for 4 bridesmaids, 3 mothers and myself (bride) the morning of the wedding. They arrived to the venue early and stayed on schedule the whole morning. They were very time efficient and professional and even gave me a bag with powder and other makeup touch-up items...and WOW did it last. The whole night my bridal party and I were raving about our hair and makeup and how we had never had our makeup and hair done by an artist they ensured it not only stayed on all night, but looked flawless as well. The guests at my wedding came up to me multiple times throughout the night and asked who our makeup artist was because they could not believe how well my makeup looked AND stayed on. Sophie is one of the best people and artists in the industry and I am looking forward to working with her again in the future. Blooming Beauty Wedding Makeup
Where do I even begin?! Sophie and Karla are literal angels. First of all, they are so kind and truly care about bringing your vision to life. They get to know you on a personal level and you feel like your besties after you work with them! They made me feel so beautiful and did incredible work for my bridesmaids and moms the day of the wedding. Everyone loved how they looked and felt so beautiful! They are also so kind and move SO QUICK. Like literal machines on the day of knocking everyone out quickly, efficiently, and perfectly. OMG Sophie was amazing in doing glam for me on my wedding day (03/11/23) at The Peach Orchard. She really listened to me and made me feel absolutely beautiful. She was extremely patient with me during my trial and encouraged me to try something I normally would not have. She is so sweet and helped keep me calm on my big day. Karla and Gloria were the dream team for my wedding! They did hair and makeup for all 7 bridesmaids, my mom, and myself (bride). Everyone looked absolutely stunning! Gloria did such an amazing job enhancing everyone's unique features and giving them the perfect soft glam look, and Karla's hairstyles were super detailed and just breathtaking! They were both super knowledgeable and really took the time to educate you on what would work best for you which I really appreciated. Sophie and her team were absolutely incredible! It's very rare to find someone who really listens to your vision and makes it even better. I'm not a bride who wears makeup often, so I was really nervous about not looking like myself. Sophie did such a great job with me and my bridal party. We all looked amazing and not too over the top. It was perfect!!
Not only is she an extremely talented makeup and hair artist, she is such a fun person. She made the entire experience so much more enjoyable. I'd recommend her to anyone who wants to look incredible on their wedding day. -

Absolutely loved Sophie’s work!! I chose to use Blooming Beauty Company for the most important day of my life, my wedding day, and she certainly delivered! All of my bridesmaids, mom, and mother in law looked so beautiful on the big day. Everyone kept telling us how gorgeous we looked and it was all thanks to Sophie and her team!! 🤍 Sophie is super fun to work with and makes sitting in a chair for an hour and half enjoyable with her jokes and almost smacking my momma’s hand when she tried to touch “her work” (my face just freshly done with makeup) haha!! To start, Sophie is amazing and a joy to work with. Sophie and her team did my bridal makeup and the hair and makeup for the bridal party. They also did the makeup for the mother of the bride and the mother of the groom. From booking to the big day, Sophie was communicative, understanding, and extremely personable. She made a moment that is normally high stress and nerve-racking feel calm. Sophie did hair for myself and a few of my bridesmaids and I honestly cannot say enough great things about her and her services! I found her through my photographer’s social media and I’ll always consider her my saving grace as I was having a hard time not hearing back from other hairstylists. She styled my hair for my bridal session as well and she was the most understanding person when I called her almost in tears for running late to my trial due to Houston traffic and was very comforting and reassuring that everything would be okay. My girls and I loved having Sophie to help out and make us beautiful for the big day. She was also very prompt at replying to any emails and questions I had which is always a big bonus for me. I had the most amazing experience with this vendor. My wedding day was perfect thanks to my make up artist.
I had an outside wedding and i was so worry about my make up and hair due to weather .
It was 90 degrees that day and my make up stay on perfectly until the next day and my hair did the same everything was perfect. Definitely will recommend them.Blooming Beauty Co's reply:

I had an awesome experience with Sophie, Ali, and Blooming Beauty! I had two trials with Ali to get my wedding day look just right, and Ali absolutely crushed it! I felt so beautiful, and received so many compliments after both of my trials and throughout the entire wedding. Most of my bridal party opted to do hair only which Giselle was the second hair stylist for the wedding day and she worked so efficiently and did a great job on everyone's requested hair style. Ali did my makeup, and three others, and she was amazing. My mom had some ~different~ and specific requests for her make up that she's never tried before and Ali did exactly as asked, but didn't hesitate to fix it when my sister and I had to intervene my mom's choices LOL. She was awesome and everyones services were completed according to schedule and with ample time for photography to begin. I cannot recommend Sophie and her team enough! Even by the end of the night, when I got home, my make-up looked on point and intact. I cried during my personal vows and it didn't even falter! Highly recommend. -

Sophie was a great coordinator and communicator! However, the two team members were both late. One was 20 minutes late and the other 30 minutes late. I was rushed doing my own makeup because of this reason. My hair was AMAZING and exactly what I wanted! My bridesmaids' makeup and hair was also perfect! -

Beautiful outcome with a few challenges
I worked with Blooming Beauty and Sophie for my wedding and had a mix of positive and disappointing experiences. My hair trials were wonderful, and on the wedding day my style turned out beautifully and lasted the entire night.
However, several of my bridesmaids felt uncomfortable during the process. One was told her hair couldn’t be worked on due to its oily nature (which is something she has been self conscious about for a long time), which left her very upset. Also the coworker assisting Sophie that day had a noticeably negative attitude. I wonder if her sourness is the reason that my getting ready room was very quiet and not giving off fun wedding day vibes at all.
When I reached out afterward, Sophie did graciously take the constructive criticism and appreciated the feedback. While I loved the final results, I wish the overall experience had felt more supportive for myself and my bridesmaids. -
