Perfect… not a detail missed
She was literally everywhere without being seen, she sent us candid photos and my now husband and I both were like “I didn’t even realize she was there”, by this I mean she was there for everything without being in the forefront. Every detail was handled, managed, and crisis handled before we knew there was one. Highly recommend if you are looking for someone who blends in, but is pulling strings behind the curtains the whole time. Literally a godsend for us as our day of coordinator. -

Most Amazing Wedding Planner Ever!!!
*Please read until the end…it’s worth it* Where do I start? We didn't think we needed a wedding planner until we had our first meeting with Shannon. We were looking for a day-of wedding planner because that was a requirement of the venue. Shannon was extremely affordable, organized and came to us on our first zoom meeting with a well-prepared list of tasks that she would be assisting us with. Even though my wife and I took care of a lot of planning on our own ahead of time, after speaking with her we soon realized that there were so many details that we had not considered. We knew at that moment she was the one and that we didn't need to look any further. We both felt like she knew exactly what we needed and that we could trust her with our most important day.
She immediately got to work and connected with our coordinator at our venue, as well as all our vendors to make sure that everyone was aware of details that matched our wishes. Since we were coming from out of town, she offered us a method of shipping a good amount of our decor, so we wouldn't have to transport anything ourselves. We had several meetings with her via zoom and despite some serious personal issues that she was dealing with, she didn't miss a beat with us. We could tell she really cared about making sure we stayed on track and that meant so much to us.
Once we were finally able to meet up with her in person, she quickly became acquainted with our family and friends and took the lead with organizing our rehearsal. We gave her our agenda timeline and she ensured that every detail was executed without a flaw, from the cake pickup, ceremony, reception, music, marriage license signing and decor setup, we didn't have to worry about any of it. It allowed us to totally focus on each other and getting married. What really impressed me is that she even personally took all my belongs from my getting ready room up to the room we were staying in and still managed to get back out to the reception to get on the dance floor with us to party, she even cleaned up at the end of the night and made sure our décor was returned to us. As a same sex couple, sometimes we don’t always get the best treatment, but not with Shannon, it truly felt like she was a part of our family that day and we will never forget her and all the assistance she provided…We will be forever grateful to her for helping to make our day simply amazing!
But wait…there’s more. Just when we thought she couldn’t possibly have anything else up her sleeve, she surprised us a week later when we realized that she also acted as a second photographer and videographer for us, which was so freaking awesome because we only paid for a photographer with no videos and thought that were not going to catch our vows on video. She sent us a ton of pictures and a couple videos capturing us at the alter…She was such a blessing to us 😊!

So so so great!
Shannon was the best choice we could have made. She was so helpful leading up to the wedding and absolutely amazing for the rehearsal and wedding day. She helped the day go so smoothly and created the space for us to be able to relax and enjoy each moment. I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a wedding planner!! -

Bliss Events AZ and Shannon were awesome!
We hired Bliss Events AZ for the “month of” option for a wedding coordinator and worked with Shannon. She was so helpful to us and available to answer questions and provide advice even in advance of the month before the wedding. We were so grateful to be able to turn everything over to her and not have to stress about ANYTHING during the lead up to the wedding. Because of Shannon we were able to fully enjoy and be present for our wedding day. She worked seamlessly with our caterer and equipment supplier, cake baker, florist, photographer, DJ, venue manager, and bar services. She was able to review our contracts to make sure that they were providing the agreed upon services as well. Shannon is AWESOME and we recommend her and Bliss Events AZ 100% and without reservation. She is a joy to work with and coming out of the wedding we also have a new friend in her.-

Shannon helped make my Son’s wedding a perfect, stress-free and memorable celebration.
Shannon and her team made sure that cocktail hour was set up quickly and ran very smoothly so all the guests could really enjoy themselves. She made sure everything to the tiniest detail was what we wanted and did a fantastic job communicating and checking in with me. I would absolutely recommend booking her and her team for your event! -

My own Fairy Godmother
Shannon was amazing!! I honestly was very unsure if I wanted a wedding planner to begin with. Shannon was the best decision (other than my husband lol) I made in regards to my entire wedding. She came up with ideas and reminded me of things I never even thought of. She was on hand whenever I needed her. She contacted all my other vendors, which for me was perfect as I live in Canada so can’t go see them easily.
Day off she made everything so easy for me and my stress level was almost non existent!! She was there before I was and left when I did. She made sure my time line was perfect. My dress was the right way for walking down the aisle and all the pictures. Even showed us how to cut the cake (it’s harder than you think!). At the end of the night she made sure all the gifts were taken to our room and we were all good for the night.
She even messaged me after to see how we were doing ( I was staying in AZ for a bit, but my party was leaving ) and send me some pictures she took.
We had an issue with a vendor and she took care of it, AFTER the wedding during our follow up. She was on it!!
My only disappointment…. I didn’t get a picture with my fairy godmother :(

Helped make our wedding stress free
We hired The Bliss Experience for week-of coordination and help with ordering from event rental companies. Our wedding was absolutely perfect, and that is in no small part thanks to Shannon and Melissa. Collaborating with them was amazing and they really went above and beyond in so many ways.
Our wedding was very much DIY…it wasn’t at a traditional event venue and so we had to set everything up ourselves. The coordination of vendors on the day of was no small undertaking and I didn’t have to worry about it at all. Delivery of tables and chairs, etc. was tough to book and Shannon and Melissa worked overtime to make sure everything got to the venue, even enlisting the help of their family. I really can’t state enough how hard they worked to make everything go smoothly.-

Absolutely love them!
Shannon and Melissa are life savers. We are a hands off couple who pretty much needed every little detail planned for our wedding, and they really came through for us. They know great vendors, know what questions to ask for vendors they don't know, and expertly negotiated with everyone so that we didn't have to worry about a thing. Seriously! They coordinated everything, and that's exactly what we were looking for. They are really friendly, caring, and super responsive as soon as you have any questions. It was basically like making two best friends in a time that was extremely stressful otherwise. I can't recommend them enough - they have been doing planning services for all kinds of events, especially weddings, for years. My wedding went off without a hitch and I honestly owe it to Shannon and Melissa. If I were to do it all over again, I would hire them again in a heartbeat. -

Shannon is incredible
Where do I even start? She was everything we could have hoped for in a coordinator. She was organized, positive, she took the initiative constantly, checked in with our needs regularly, eased our minds when the inevitable wedding bumps in the road appeared, she’s seriously amazing and was a major component in making our big day the BEST DAY EVER. Hire her before she’s booked!! I guarantee you won’t regret this decision! -

The worst experience ever with a vendor
I’m writing this note after biting my tongue and being upset, disappointed, let down,and feeling like a fool for ever hiring you “ to coordinate my wedding. I now assume that A. because you saw how organized I was, or B. Although I asked for 2 coordinators, you didn’t want to pay another person (although it would of been me paying for extra services), but in the end you did not bother to care about paying attention to ANY of the details that were YOUR job and what you were PAID for!!!
Aside from receiving shipped packages, you have been inept to say the least! Below are the callouts for your mistakes, lack of care and execution. In the end even the clean up after the event was terrible as you just flung things in boxes and hot hot wax on much of the items returned to me including ruining linens and our wedding portrait. And the list goes on….
Missing SEVERAL scheduled virtual meetings and always having random excuses after the fact of why you could attend. Major RED flag that I missed!
Coming to the first walkthrough months ago with not even a pen or paper to take a note!!!! Having no questions for anyone from Biltmore except rambling about other weddings that you have done over the years!
not contacting vendors until I reminded you which was Thurs Fri before the wedding once I realized you had not contacted me with any questions or updates after missing the last 3 of our scheduled calls.
Leaving the rehersal day early because you were moving and not sitting down to go over any of the questions you had about my timeline, announcement, set up or needs.
Arriving both rehersal and wedding day without printing the schedule that I meticulously put together with every goddam detail that you needed to follow. Like literally No thinking needed on your part and you still messed most everything up!!!! You were a unbelievable disaster.
You were being so useless that my friends had to take the lead at rehearsal to walk through every a few times and for set-up. Seriously you were standing there checking your phone or with a blank stare for the majority of the time until people looked at you and asked you to do something.
Anything I needed or asked why it wasnt happening you always acted like it was someone’s else’s fault when in reality it’s that you were totally lost on what was happening and when, although I created a 6 tab spreadsheet with EVERYTHING down to the minute, with scripts, role assignments, diagrams and vendor details!!!!!!!!!
You did not confirm the rental delivery even after I gave you the list of items and photos of all of the rentals. Both the outdoor games (jenga and hornhole were missing) yet you had me sign off saying everything was delivered and now I can’t get a refund!!!!
YOU told me that the caricature artist stayed extra out of generosity and it would be no extra cost so I tipped the dude $40 bucks and now I just got a dang bill from him rounded out to a whole extra hour! For $150! Sad thing is I don’t blame him, I’m sure you just weren’t paying any attention and off in your own world!!!!
The Fireplaces were not on in the ballroom like I asked, although you knew people were coming in because it was cold
You were there as I set up the hand warmer basket and the bubble machine which I specifically said was to be turned on when you moved the Memorial table yet you did not direct anyone to take warmers as they complained it was cold. You also did not encourage people to fill in the welcome cards because no one knew where anything was, and you never turned on the bubbles machine which I told you was important to me. These are all details that you said “oh no worries, I got it. I’ll be letting people know… They yada-yada)
Not having people exit the room as planned for the progression and us literally having to take the microphone and ask people to exit for the sparkler progression. You also did not keep the Dj on track as we had to remind him to move through the script…. Again, something you said you would handle all along so we could just enough ourselves, but again you were just in the back of the room on your phone!
Everyone time I looked up you were on the phone doing god knows what, and me calling you to have you focus and then remind you of literally the next step of the the plan on the timeline!!!!!
You paid no attention and had no order to the announcements I both wrote and have you a timeline for which YOU told me was your job to keep the DJ on track. You gave the Dj no direction so for example it was us who noticed that prayer wasn’t said 1/2 way through salad and we then asked you and you acted like people were eating so oops, yet my husband then grabbed the mic and his cousin and asked him to do the prayer for the 2nd course. Like why did we have to run and fix what you didn’t catch???
Then there’s the little “life saving kit” that you bragged so much about yet you couldn’t produce 2 safety pins for my dress?!?!!! Like why even mention it if what’s in it depends what you grab along the way???
Maybe the crazier part is when you stuffed your face in the brides room as I stood there exhausted after helping you set up the venues (again your job) as I’m looking at my guests who had yet to even serve themselves but you were just grabbing cheese and crackers and chomping away over the table like you owned the place!!!!!
You spent a lot of time following us around and taking pictures although I had both and photographer and videographer, and the entire time you should of been making sure things were in place for the venues and activities…example, there were no water buckets for the sparklers as you stated and my family said they looked around to ask you want to do and you were gone so they just stood there waiting until they turned off by themselves. You didn’t say goodnight or what to do with the items in their hands from the farewell, you just disappeared and they awkwardly roamed around confused!
After letting people in to the wrong door they missed the whole set up of the seating chart and were walking around looking for their names all over the room and yet you still did not fix it and you directed no one back to the seating chart by the door so they missed the whole welcome set-up with not only the seating chart, but the affirmation cards, sign book as well!
Sadly there are a million other things you messed up and ruined, but I just don’t have the energy anymore. I honestly hope you now have a clear picture and truly remember how you handled yourself and your job that day. Read everything I wrote and don’t make up excuses, but be honest and know that every step of the way you ruined my wedding day because of your lack of professionalism and attention to detail. If you paid attention to what I told you I needed in both print and verbally, then maybe you would have been okay, but instead you were the worst person ever to be involved. I wish I could of worked with someone from your team who seemed to have more interest in my vision for my wedding. Instead I got stuck with you who put me on the back burner while you decided to move and act like you had all the details and everything under control for go-time. With that said, you have destroyed what was something beautiful to me, my husband and our daughters. I pray that people do not hire you and for the poor soul that does. I pray you do better and don’t ruin such an expensive and important day in someone else’s life. -
