Best dj ever

Kevin and his team were professional, funny, and lively. We gave him direction on what we wanted during each part of our day (music wise) and he delivered flawlessly. When things went wrong, he was flexible and adapted accordingly, and because of him, we were able to get through our whole wedding program after an unexpected delay during the reception. He made our guests feel very comfortable, like they were family. Kevin also timed ou! r cold sparks perfectly with our first dance choreography, and he never saw it before which is amazing to do. AND he pronounced my (now) husband’s name correctly. YAY!

Best company for any celebration!

I had DJ Kevo as my Emcee/DJ and the photobooth for my wedding and it turned out more amazing than I could ever imagine! There were no waisted moment thanks to Kevo. He also went above and beyond our contract and went to my rehearsal and finalized my timeline and everyone being introduced at my reception. There was no dull moment and all my guests keep telling us they had so much fun and we should get married more often! I definitely highly recommend Kevo and his team for any celebration, you won’t regret it!

Wonderful DJ and Emcee

Our wedding planner recommended Bliss DJ for our wedding and we're so happy we went with them. They were professional and flexible with our changes in our wedding timeline. All our guests told us that they loved our DJ and the music. They also were able to light up the monkey pod tree at our venue. We also had a great time using their photobooth!

Awesome music!

Choosing a good DJ was super important to us as we love to dance! The DJ was amazing and his song choices would always keep you out of your seat.
My brother in law is a dancer and he said the DJ was throwing out "bangers" which meant he could not NOT go out there and dance because of the awesome music.

Awesome musical experience!

DJ Kevo and his team were the perfect musical choice for our wedding reception. He completely understood the vibe we wanted and created curated, real-time mixes that kept the party flowing. We had a small group (30 people) and wanted a low key but fun evening, and Kevo was able to adapt perfectly to our request. Every song fit the mood and matched the energy of the moment. Kevo knew the assignment

BlissDJs, specifically Kevo, was great to work with from start to finish. We spoke on the phone to discuss our music preferences and he also provided a questionnaire closer to the date that captured what we wanted and didn't want. He was laid back, flexible, and empathetic throughout the process, especially due to the ever changing COVID restrictions. Kevo was our emcee and DJ for the ceremony and reception and the timing and flow of the event was on point. We had a small party of 30 but Kevo kept the party dancing during the reception. He was very open and accommodating and executed our preferences; his style totally aligned with us and our guests. I highly recommend Kevo for upcoming weddings and events!

Kevin was great

We hired Kevin to DJ our wedding, but due to COVID mandates we had to cancel our wedding. He was great and his word was good! He gave us back our deposit since we had to cancel because of COVID. I can't say this for all our vendors in Hawaii. THANK YOU KEVIN!

A night we won’t forget

Kevin and the Bliss DJ’s hawaii team was so awesome. Music is life. And we enjoyed every moment of the wedding.

To help plan for this day, Kevin gave us a worksheet so that we could decide what music choices we wanted for the entire wedding day. From ceremony, to reception, to wedding party entrances, etc. And he welcomed custom songs, which you wouldn’t believe they played all of them.

You will love working with Kevin as he is also an emcee, and he valued the same views we did. And choose the music you want, as this if you wedding no one else’s. That was a deal breaker. During the day and age you need to be true to yourself and stand out. And you def will get all you wish for with Bliss DJ’s Hawaii.

KEVO IS THE BEST!!
After our meeting with him i knew that our guests were in for a great time! Kevin sat with us and talked through our program like an absolute professional. His years of experience in the business can’t be beat and his knowledge of the venue and of the industry helped make our evening absolutely perfect. Planning a wedding is so stressful, but Kevin made it easy. He just KNOWS what he’s doing. His guidance and input definitely made the difference in our entire reception. Even before our ceremony, he talked with our wedding party and family and gave advice to help them through the nerves and craziness of the day. I appreciated how he stopped to take the time to connect with our guests personally. Absolutely amazing. Above and beyond the call.

Kevin was our DJ, MC, and also provided the lighting for our day. His lighting set up and monogram made our room absolutely beautiful. Our monogram was simple, but it matched our simple elegant vibe perfectly. It was a showstopper and people were commenting on how stunning the room was all evening. Kevin personally edited all our dance music and made sure our program stayed on track and on time. I especially enjoyed all the small touches he gave during the program that made our wedding so personal AND FUN!! He kept our guests laughing and entertained the entire night and we couldn’t have asked for someone better to take the lead on the biggest day of our lives.

Destination Wedding

We used DJ Bliss in October 2019 for our wedding and Kevo was great to deal with! He responded quickly to my emails as we were planning this wedding long distance. He followed through on all the arrangements we agreed on and all my guests enjoyed themselves on the dance floor! Kevo and his coworkers were great, very sweet, followed our timeline and made sure everyone had a good time. I would highly recommend using his service for a wedding or any other event!

Kevin has so much experience and we really appreciated his honest opinions and feedback. When we had a question or if we got stuck with something, he was always willing to help. Fun, easy to work with + great vibe!

DJ Kevo is the man!!!

DJ Kevo exceeded expectations. He worked with us well before the wedding to assure that all of our guests, from toddlers to seniors, were thoroughly entertained. The music was on point, the photo booth provided photos for everybody, a projector with huge screen ran a slide show which accompanied our first dance, and the games played were an absolute blast.

Kevin is a funny, creative, and a delightful person. He is a seasoned performer who gets the party started and keeps the energy flowing to the end. His friendly service complimented our wedding and we could not be happier. Thank you, DJ Kevo and his team.

Professional and reliable

June 13th 2019 was a very special day! Dj Kevo and his team did a superb job Dj’ing and MC’ing our wedding. He sure knows how to keep the party going. He accommodated all the music I’ve asked for and more! I’m from the Bay Area and was surprised his knowledge on his music selections! DJ Kevo is the energy of the party! Highly recommend!

Almost all of our guests both relatives and friends (even the old folks) said this was one of the funniest and entertaining weddings they’ve ever been to. That’s mainly due to DJ Kevo keeping the energy in the room. Kevo actually officiated our wedding also and did excellent job. He was very professional during the officiating and very funny and entertaining during the reception. Perfect combo! All the guests especially enjoyed the ice breaker games!

Get Up and Dance!

Bliss DJ was a truly exceptional DJ who kept the partying going for hours! They were able to read the crowd better than any wedding I'd been to before. They played all the songs we requested and included others to get guests of all ages onto the dance floor that never thinned. DJ Kevo was the best! I grew up in Hawaii but live in Los Angeles now so did most of my planning from a distance. My husband and I met with Kevo in person twice before our wedding and he totally "got" us right away. He was so easy to work with, so professional and knowledgeable, andso much fun! 5 stars! All around, amazing company

We cannot say enough amazing things about Kevo and BlissDJ’s! We were initially only looking at BlissDJ’s for DJ services for our reception. But after our initial meeting with Kevo, we decided to use their Emcee services as well! And then a couple months later, after we saw Kevo again at a bridal expo, he mentioned his photo booth services, and we ended up hiring BlissDJ’s for our photo booth as well! Booking BlissDJs for multiple services made it a lot easier for us!

On our wedding day, Kevo did such an amazing job with the music for our ceremony, and his DJ played hit after hit for our reception. Our family and friends raved about what an awesome DJ we had. There were so many people on the dance floor throughout the entire night!

And you know you’ve got an amazing emcee when your own family thinks that Kevo is a family friend because of how personable he is and how smoothly he ran the formal reception.

Last but not least, I loved our photo booth! Working with V4 Productions through BlissDJ’s was super easy. And on the day of, everyone had so much fun in the photo booth with all of the great props.

I would definitely recommend BlissDJ’s for all of these services. They’re an amazing vendor and we loved working with Kevo. And they are a great, great value for everything you get out of it.

Awesome Entertainment

Best dj everrrrrrr

Kevo was a phenomenal DJ and MC. He adapted to the varied and eclectic music genres we wanted incorporated, kept things moving along, interjected with comments and jokes just the right amount, and was a joy to work with. His one mistake of the night was cutting off Third Eye Blind's "Semi-Charmed Life" (our wedding theme song) too early--but we can't help but forgive him given the amazing job he did otherwise :) Five of five stars, will enthusiastically recommend.

The first thing I must say is that Bliss DJs were amazing. I had talked with Kevin several times over the phone setting up our music list. We finally got to meet and have a sit down where we could go over all the songs that we wanted. Me and my wife did not have very many songs picked out and he was there to help tremendously in helping us pick out some great songs. We had our venue at Café Julia which was amazing. He had done several events there on a regular basis which made us feel very comfortable. At the event he engaged all of our guests in the mood was set perfect the entire time. The lighting that he used matched our color scheme perfectly. I would highly recommend him for any event because he knows music selection and how to keep all the guests engaged. DJ Kevo provided DJ services at our wedding at Turtle Bay Resort and we could not have been happier. From the moment we first spoke to Kevin on the phone to begin our planning we enjoyed our conversations and always felt at ease. On the day of the wedding our ceremony musician had not arrived and DJ Kevo jumped-in and had the right song cued and ready to go in the event the singer did not arrive. Plus his calm nature and easy communication style was just what a bride and groom need on the wedding day.
The music and up-lighting for the event was exactly what we discussed and we couldn’t have been happier that we went with DJ Kevo.

Kevin and Greg (our Emcee) were both so great to work with! Stop searching for a DJ, you have found the best company! We just used Kevo for our Oahu destination wedding and he did an amazing job. He couldn't of done a better job DJ'ing & MC'ing our event and most of our guests commented on how great he was... We hired him from a recommendation from our wedding planner and it was a great recommendation....We cant say enough nice things about how good of a job they did! I'm gong to go ahead and admit that I was the typical groom during the wedding planning phase saying "what's an emcee?" can't we do that ourselves? find a friend? Uncle? Someone we think is funny.........Now that we're done with our event I can't even imagine surviving through it without Bliss DJ's, specifically Kevo. Kevo was completely awesome to work with. He's easy going, has a great personality, super friendly and took all of our random ideas and thoughts and tied them together to make our day awesome. When things got hectic we were so happy to have Kevo there because we knew we could depend on him to hold everything together. Kevo was there to catch all the little things and everything in between. One thing that stood out, was during our first dance.. i was sitting in a chair and got up to give my new wife a hug as well as finish dancing our first dance, and he pulled the chair off of the dance floor along with the cocktail round! Which was EVERYTHING for those photos and video. The whole night we got nothing but compliments from our parents and other guests about what a great job he did. Truly, we were so lucky! Thanks for everything kevo! Aside from the rain..and mud...and everything in between we'll never forget any of it. Thanks for making our day awesome!!!!

We loved DJ Kevo and learned about him from the Wedding Cafe workshops. When we first met for the initial meeting I could tell he clicked with my husband and I. He was easy to talk to, funny, and knowledgeable about music of all kinds. He hooked us up with his popular DJ and emcee package with pink uplights. The day of the wedding he was on time and prepared. He had perfect timing with starting and fading the music for the ceremony. At the reception he had our guests play a fun game to give away the centerpiece and had a hilarious game in mind for the wedding party. He played music that we requested and even let us dance a little longer than our cutoff time. It was great working with him and I would definitely recommend him to others.

Awesome DJ! Kevo is flexible, easy to work with, and fun! He came through for us when we changed our ceremony music the morning of our wedding. He also knows how to adapt to the audience/guests, and gets everyone off of their feet! Highly recommend Kevo/DJ Bliss!

Kevin was beyond what we expected. From arriving on site and meeting him, he was 100% professional. On the wedding day the bride and groom don't usually handle anything, but since this was a vision that Jhoanna and I created from the mainland, we had to delegate lots of mental details out to our friends on the day-of. And DJKevo was right there alongside us, during the setup process. From helping us decide where he could set up, and to the actual ceremony & reception. It was exactly how we envisioned. Thanks a whole heap Kevin! Future couples should book Kevin for their wedding because there's just so much that he does for you, and definitely goes above and beyond what you need.

We were so lucky to have Bliss DJ’s Hawai‘i at our wedding! DJ Kevo was the best emcee - he pretty much put together our entire program for our reception! He had lots of really great suggestions, was flexible when we made some last minute requests, was very professional yet super friendly and reassuring...just all around awesome! I feel like he really got to know us in the few times we met, and was able to tailor and suggest activities that matched our personalities, even with all our music too. Our guests had a great time and we got a lot of comments on how everyone loved our emcee. I didn’t have to stress or worry at all, I’m so glad DJ Kevo and Bliss DJ’s at our wedding - I would highly recommend them!!

Dj Kevo is absolutely great! He and his team were very flexible to our needs before and leading up to our special day. Professionalism was top notch spectacular and worth every dollar! Very personable and easy to get along with! Super helpful when it came to music selection and the reception timeline. Really adaptable to changes in out timeline. There were no lagging moments during our ceremony and our reception. We felt we were always in good hands and never worried about what we needed to do next--he pretty much took care of leading us through the evening. We would absolutely recommend Kevin for any event requiring DJ/Emcee services.

Bliss DJ is the first vendor we booked for our wedding, and it was one of the best decisions we made. My husband and I are originally from the mainland, so most of our guests were flying into the island for our wedding. We decided that our #1 priority for our wedding was DJ/Emcee/Entertainment. DJ Kevo responded to our email right away and was available to speak over the phone. He was really easy to talk to and he reassured me that the wedding program would be fun and appropriate for all types of people. He was able to work with our budget and he even did our uplighting and created a custom monogram for us. DJ Kevo met with my husband and me two times in person to go over the timeline and just to get a feel for how we were as a couple. We are so thankful he took the time to speak with us and get to know us before the wedding. DJ Kevo really encouraged and showed us how to personalize our wedding and just make it our own. Just little details here and there that we never would have thought of, but those details just make the wedding so much more special. ☺! He gave the perfect suggestions for music/songs based on our music preferences, and he really was able to feel the crowd and played the perfect songs throughout the night. People were dancing all the way till the very end! DJ Kevo really goes above and beyond to make your wedding vision a reality. We still can’t believe that we found such a perfect Emcee/DJ. He’s really just an awesome person—friendly, understanding, and knowledgeable. Every meeting with him would make us less stressed because we could see the reception coming together. Kevo is so great! We used him as our DJ/Emcee for our wedding last week and he was the best. We had a small wedding but he made sure everyone had an amazing time and was on the dance floor. He has a great energy that ALL of our guests commented on. He was also very patient with me since I am someone who is very picky with my music. He is amazing and you will not regret booking him!

I absolutely loved working with Kevo. He made me feel at ease with all the wedding stress I was feeling. The music was everything I asked for and more. Everyone enjoyed having him there along with the music selection. The lighting that was provided lit the entire room up and was beautiful. The photo booth was a hit and is a must. Kevo at Bliss was the first vendor we met with when planning our wedding and we are SO glad we did! Right from the start, he knew our venue and even had recommendations for vendors we hadn't booked yet (we found our Caterer through him, and as it's more of a local place I don't know that we would have found it without a recommendation!). DJ service at the wedding its self could not have been more awesome. We did not use a wedding planner and only had vague timing plans for the reception. Kevo was not only perfectly fine with winging it, but did so perfectly. He went along with all our crazy music requests, and was wonderful at reading the crowd (playing a slow song as a break right when people were tiring out, then starting the dancing back up). We had a small wedding (about 50 guests) and everyone had an amazing time. Even though our music guidelines were relatively broad and our requested songs were all over the place, he seemed to know exactly what to play despite only knowing us and our guests for a couple of hours. We even got comments on how "us" the music was. Kevo was also an AWESOME emcee. Fantastic energy, on top of everything, and even pronounced some of our bridal party's confusing last names perfectly. 100% recommended, would hire them again in a heartbeat. Thank you Kevo and Bliss!

Kevo and his team were more than amazing. He worked smoothly with our Bridal Coordinator (Natalie from ABC, also amazing) and handled our every request, including last minute additions games so we could include more people in the fun. He was always willing to meet and really helped us to create what we wanted for our wedding, including making a mash up for the Bride and her Mom to dance to. We could not have been happier working with Kevo and Bliss DJs, highly recommend them to everyone.

When I first started my wedding planning, one of the first things I did was look for an Emcee/DJ for my reception because I knew I wanted someone really good and I wanted to book them as soon as possible before someone else booked them on my date. I heard of Kevo through another vendor I had hired for my wedding day. Stephany the owner of Savannahs Events had recommended Kevo and had nothing but great things to say about him and said I should check him since I had told her that I was still looking for an Emcee/DJ at the time. I yelped and checked wedding wire for reviews of Kevo and after reading about 15 reviews, I knew I had to meet him! Kevo was so easy to talk to and he was funny too which was what my husband (Fiance at the time) and I exactly wanted for our wedding! There was no doubt in our mind that Kevo was the one! We booked him for Emcee, DJ, uplights, dancing on a cloud and custom monogram! Fast forward about a year later to my wedding day (February 18, 2017) Kevo was on time and set up before my husband and I got to take a glimpse at our reception. When we walked in, we were completely blown away! our monogram was perfectly placed! and the uplights made the venue look beautiful! When the reception began Kevo was so funny! the crowd never died down! we were constantly entertained from beginning and literally all the way through the end! He completed every request I made! If you're looking for a DJ, Emcee or both, you definitely need to hire Kevo!

DJ Kevo was such a great DJ and MC! He kept the celebration alive all night and got everyone involved and on the dance floor. He is such a kind, funny, flexible person and was a joy to work with. We had so much fun with DJ Kevo from Bliss DJ's as our DJ / Emcee for our wedding! He was a referral from our florist and we are so glad we hired him. We were able to meet with Kevo a few days before the wedding and went through how we hoped the day would go, what music our guests would enjoy, etc. and everything ran perfectly on the day of the wedding. He kept people on the dance floor and made great song selections to keep everyone having fun! We didn't want the party to end! Bliss DJ's also provided some uplighting which really helped enhance the venue (Moli'i Gardens at Kualoa Ranch). We can't thank them enough for making our wedding so much fun. Kev was such a pleasure to work with. He is easy going and was very accommodating with our busy schedule. He was able to meet with my husband and I after we finished work and is also quick with email responses.

Kev was our emcee/dj at our wedding reception and he also provided the uplighting, monogram, and cloud (during the first dance). Our guests were blown away with how funny Kev was, even asking if he was a close friend of ours because he was so personable and comfortable on stage. He even provided fun games which everyone enjoyed! We had so many wonderful complements about Kev and his team; I highly recommend him to other brides out there who need an emcee/dj.

DJ Kevo is hands down the best wedding DJ/MC I've seen. Having been to a few weddings where the DJ was subpar, I definitely wanted to make sure ours was awesome. He did not disappoint! Kevin is charismatic, easy to work with, professional and super entertaining. Our guests LOVED him. All the games were interactive which was great because it kept our guests involved and fully engaged. He kept the program on schedule and made everything stress free for us. If you are getting married in Hawaii you have to choose Bliss DJs. Kevin was such a pleasure to work with and my guests loved him as well. He took requests and was incredibly friendly and nice to work with. I would have wanted him to be a guest at my wedding if he wasn't already dj'ing!

We had some pretty weird requests but I appreciated how Kevo accommodated us with the best attitude and such professionalism. You will not regret choosing him!

DJ Kevo was great. Professional, responsive, the service is excellent. We had him emcee and DJ our reception and everyone just loved him. Even my mom (hard to please), thought he was funny. He is creative with his games and gets the wedding party and the guests involved so it's fun for everyone (not the typical games you see at the wedding). He works with you to put together a program and makes sure it runs smoothly. Would highly recommend him as a DJ/emcee to all my friends that are planning a wedding or any party!

My husband and I are extremely happy that we found Dj Bliss online. Kevo was so kind and quick on responding. Although Dj Kevo was unavailable the night of my wedding he still made an effort to make something happen for me which he sent Dj Matt and his assistant to come dj. They definitely made our night! Considering we were going to have a multi-cultural wedding, I was a little nervous about how the music was going to go. After talking to Kevin on the phone, DJ "Kevo", I was extremely relieved. He has been in this business for over 20 years and it certainly shows, his expertise in this field is incredible. We hired Kevin as an MC, DJ, and for uplighting services. This was a destination wedding so everything was done over the phone or email, and when we arrived in Hawaii, he also offered to meet us in person before the wedding, which was a very nice gesture. Kevin is professional, friendly, talented, and just plain awesome!!! He even went out of his way to help us find a pastor to marry us!! We are so happy and honored to have had Kevin for our wedding. My husband and I loved Kevin, but I think our guests loved him even more! The highlight of my wedding was watching one of the groomsmen turn up with one of my elderly aunts on the dance floor. Kevin was highly attuned to the mood of the crowd, and had the right song (or sound clip!) for the right moment. He also had some great suggestions on the spot to make sure things flowed smoothly. When you think about a DJ and an MC...you want some one with great taste in music, great personality and ability to read the crowd. And this is what you get when you're with DJ Kevo!

We booked Kevo for our reception and after party. After our first sit down..we knew immediately that we hired the perfect guy. He gives great suggestions on what kind of music should be playing during certain points in the reception. There were songs that he picked that even our wedding guests positively commented on. Our goal was to stray away from the typical music you hear at weddings and he was able to accomplish that for us.

During our after party, he played everything we asked for. We had a great mix of early 90s and mainstream! He's a super fun and skilled DJ and he will not disappoint. And more so...he knows all the great spots to eat in Oahu before and after the wedding =)

DJ Kevo did an outstanding job for our wedding. During our ceremony, we had a miscommunication with the Hale Koa Hotel staff regarding the use their sound system. Long story short, Hale Koa ended up not providing us with their sound system on the day of our wedding ceremony.

DJ Kevo was only supposed to play his music using Hale Koa's sound system. Instead, DJ Kevo ran to our ballroom and grabbed his personal sound system for our ceremony. The ceremony went smoothly and we had no knowledge about the incident. We only found out about the incident after the wedding was completed from our Wedding Coordinator Erika. DJ Kevo never charged us or expected anything from us for his additional service.

During our reception, DJ Kevo was very funny and entertaining. We played 3 games... Knowing your bride/groom, "Man, I feel like a woman", and the Best Man Challenge. If you book with DJ Kevo, I highly recommend you playing the "Man, I feel like a woman" game because it loosen up the atmosphere and creates a fun environment. If you have two best-man, I highly recommend you playing the Best Man Challenge. We had an amazing time with that game.

Bottom line... when we first started planning our wedding, we weren't planning to hire a DJ/MC because we were trying to stay within our budget. However, we are glad that we hired DJ Kevo and his team. Many of our family and friends have told us that this was one of their best weddings ever. DJ Kevo is nice, funny, and a very respectful person. If you want an OK wedding, ask your uncle to be your MC. If you want a fun and memorable wedding, you should hire DJ Kevo.

We hired DJ KEVO as our emcee, DJ & lighting. When we had our first face to face meeting with Kevin he left a great impression on us. He constantly kept referring back to OUR style, OUR needs, OUR wants. He has his own creative ideas that sparked our crowds attention. There wasn't a flaw I could point out. DJ kevo did an awesome job with our wedding 2 weeks ago. With me being the "wedding planner" and the (then) future Mrs., he helped us out a lot especially with the reception. He was very flexible with our busy schedule and helpful with entertaining our guest. We actually had feedback from a few of our friends saying it was one of the top weddings they've been to. We hired Kevo to emcee, DJ and do the uplighting for our wedding at YWCA. He was very easy to work with, personable, quick to respond, and organized. As soon as we met Kevo, we knew we wanted to work with him.
He was an awesome emcee and kept the program running smoothly. Kevo worked to make our program specific to us as a couple. We loved how he got our guests involved. He had awesome ideas for games at the wedding- one game included having our guests running around trying to find random items. For the garter toss, my husband enjoys golf so we had him putt his way to the garter.
As a DJ- we appreciated that he asked us what type of songs we wanted for the post-ceremony, cocktail hour, introduction, etc. Things we didn't even think of! He always had good recommendations and played the song list we requested. Kevo was laid back and adaptable (including changing songs to my bridesmaid's introduction right before she went on).
Everyone loved the up-lights and they complemented our colors perfectly! We had no idea where to have up-lights at the venue but Kevo knew exactly where to put everything.
Kevo was awesome and worked well with all of our other vendors. His pricing was reasonable and we would highly recommend him!

DJ Kevo was amazing! When we initially called him as part of our vendor scouting, we instantly liked his sense of humor, laid back confidence, and professionalism. We didn't have an official coordinator, but DJ Kevo made the planning process very easy for us by helping create our reception timeline, order of events, and did multiple games for us that everyone loved participating/watching. On the day of, he kept the events of the night running smoothly and naturally because of his emceeing. Also, the uplighting he provided really add a little something extra to the ballroom and made it come alive at the end of the night during the dancing portion.

Overall, hiring DJ Kevo was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding planning process! He was really great to work with and made our reception so much fun!

My husband and I are very simple, in fact, quite boring people. When we were planning our wedding, there was a slight fear that there was not enough entertainment in our reception program; we definitely did not want our guests to be bored. This all changed when we met Kevin of Bliss DJ's Hawaii, who was highly recommended by our other wedding vendors. At our consultation, Kevin's enthusiasm was contagious. We became excited and confident in all the creative ideas he had in mind for us. Kevin was AMAZING as our Wedding Reception MC. I could only rate 5 stars here, but DJ Kevo / Bliss DJ's are a perfect 10! They provided gorgeous up-lighting, ALL the music for our entire event, and awesome MC services.

There's a reason for all the 5* reviews here. Kevin was "da man" who made it happen. We were completely lost, not having had much experience with weddings - either attending or planning. But, from the very first contact, he was extremely patient, enthusiastic, and was the catalyst behind planning and executing an awesome reception timeline / program - we're still getting compliments! He truly enjoys what he does and it shows in his creativity, experience, and flexibility (we made last minute song changes daily, the entire week before). Rest assured that you're in great hands - he will keep the party flowing and going!

Without a doubt, I highly recommend their services. I just hope they're available when we have our anniversary celebration :)

I was blown away during my first phone con with Kevo. He got in touch with me within a few hours of my initial inquiry, and as soon as we got to chatting I knew he was who I wanted to book. He came across as extremely personable, professional and friendly, I felt like I was talking with someone I had known for years. We scheduled a sit down meeting to talk about my desires for our reception. He was there promptly and took charge of the meeting, asking all the right questions, documenting my preferences as well as assisting me in creating my timeline and giving a lot of suggestions that I hadn’t even thought about. It is clear that weddings are his forte and expertise. I didn’t need to check with him, or follow up after our meeting and when our reception came, he was set up early, made sure to get a one on one with me prior to events beginning, and the entire evening went seamlessly with Kevo driving the train. I’m so grateful I came across this man to give life to our reception, and I don’t think I could’ve asked for a better DJ.

DJ Kevo was awesome!!! He was very helpful and very good at what he does!!! The lighting/monogram/music and yes the clouds made my wedding wonderful! DJ Kevo is the best! From our first meeting, we knew he'd be a good match - without a flinch, he was ready to create a musical experience honoring our Chinese, Hawaiian and Italian cultures for a 200 person wedding reception. He was able to work with our tight budget and we were able to have his DJ services and uplighting (which was beautiful) truly tie our wedding and reception together.

He honored the songlist requests we submitted to him (using his organized template) and was so attentive during the reception, finding music to fit each person who spoke or was part of the program. From the very first song to the last, he kept people dancing on their feet - there wasn't a single dud of a song, and he manipulated the red uplighting to match the tone of each song. We wished we could have danced until the wee hours of the morning because the music was that good and the ambiance was perfect.

In addition to beautiful uplighting and a great playlist for the night, DJ Kevo also allowed us to use two of his cordless microphones and have a musician plug his guitar into his sound system for special gifts of music without any hassle - the sound was clear and the logistics were smooth, and we didn't even need to know about the technicalities since he worked in partnership with our wedding coordinators and photographer/videographer.

It's no wonder he was the DJ for my cousin's recent wedding and our photographer/videographer's wedding - we would hire him again in a heartbeat!

We only have great things to say about Kevo. It also didn't hurt that he was also the DJ/MC for a couple of my best friends. He really cares about the couple and throughout the process leading up to the wedding, Kevo made sure that everything was covered. I even confided in him when I was going through some family drama (because what wedding would be complete without some family drama?) Kevo didn't need to, but he did listen and provided great advice. I highly recommend Kevo. He is the best!

Kevin provided us with great ideas, met with us several times, and made sure we were all set for our wedding. On the day of the wedding, he provided perfectly timed music during the ceremony, was the emcee for our reception, and provided DJ services for the dancing portion. We held our 25th Wedding Anniversary and Vow Renewal reception at the Ko’olau
Grand Ballroom. The ballroom was already beautiful and does not need much decoration, but we wanted to have uplighting to add drama and highlight the corners and the columns in the ballroom. Bliss Djs provided our uplightings and our monogram. We worked with Kevin and Gabe and they were super professional and easy to work with. They listened to our concerns, answered our questions and made suggestions to make the venue pop with color. During dinner, they had the lights set to a single solid color and once the dancing started, they were able to set it to color-changing mode that encouraged everyone to party. Kevin also incorporated our wedding invitation design with the design of our monogram and it was absolutely beautiful. They also provided the cloud during our first dance and made that moment even more special. We had beautiful pictures taken because of it. The ballroom was transformed with the soft-lighting and everyone loved it. Overall, it was a great experience working with them. We would definitely use Bliss DJS again. We highly recommend them for your event.

DJ Kevo was in charge of DJing and emceeing our wedding over the summer of 2015. We came across him from a mix of personal research and a recommendation from Lauren, our wedding day-of planner from Aloha Bridal Connections. I must say that DJ Kevo did a tremendous job on the whole of our wedding! My wife and I had half of our guests from out-of-town and the majority were local so we were looking for someone who could interact with both crowds. DJ Kevo did exactly that and provided a local personal touch that connected and incorporated all guests. You can tell that we were dealing with a professional with many years of experience in the field as DJ Kevo honed in right away on the essential information he needed from us in order to make our plans for the wedding come to fruition. From beginning to end of the wedding day, DJ Kevo masterfully took care of the entire event, engaged the audience to make sure there were no lulls with fun and humorous activities, and guests all said they had a great time! We had Nate, DJ Flip, do our wedding at Kualoa Ranch. And we could not be happier!! He was so lovely to work with and really dedicated to giving us exactly what we wanted. And it wasn't easy - half our playlist was Spanish songs that he had to look for, download and I think he even bought a CD to get ALL the songs we wanted. Amazing! We had an evening wedding at the Ko'Olau Ballrooms. Now, previous to our wedding, we were definitely on the hunt for an amazing DJ/MC, one that we could connect with, that preferably did not (overall) read off of a sheet, and that just sounded genuine. We had NOT expected to meet the DJ/MC of our dreams when we went to an ABC mixer in downtown Oahu.

Dj Kevo was doing both the MC and DJ at the mixer and we got to hear his voice, see what he did, and see how he connected with the guests. When I went up to him to ask questions, he was spot on...and I have to say that I had asked him a LOT of questions that night.

We had wanted an element of FUN, at our wedding and that is what we got! Thanks Kevo! The games were hilarious and Kevo, you improvised really well and it felt like you were definitely a part of the wedding, rather than just a stranger who was MC-ing. One thing I wish could have gotten to do with you was take a photo at the photobooth with you!

We hired DJ Kevo as an emcee for our wedding reception. His questionnaire helped us plan our reception and timeline perfectly! We were a little hesitant to request country music in Hawaii being from Iowa, but his country collection rivaled our own! We had such a great experience with Bliss DJs. My new husband and I were lucky enough to have DJ Kevo Emcee our wedding. We met with him a couple of times and he had such a great personality that we really clicked with. He was the perfect mix of professional and fun. Even when I got a little frustrated with my now husband not making it on-time to a meeting Kevo was able to make me feel a bit better by adding a surprise to the program. He provided both our ceremony and reception sound system. He was super flexible with the program and was great at keeping our guests involved with games. And to top it off he stayed and played music all the way through clean-up until we were ready to go.

We were connected to Kevo through our band. Kevo was so responsive via email and so friendly in person. We definitely got a good vibe from him when we had our consultation. Kevo set us up with a DJ sheet so we could let him know our preferred genres and songs for our wedding. He did an awesome job! Not only did he play the genres and songs we liked, but also he was able to read the crowd and play what was appropriate for everyone to have a good time. We had such a fun night! I wasn’t sure if we’d have that kind of dancing reception, but we did!...and it was all because of Kevo’s awesome music and emcee skills when we needed him. I worked with DJ Kevo of Bliss DJs and had an amazing experience. He was super fast in responding and setting up a meeting. After discussing music tastes and styles of ours and our families he was able to get a good sense of what we were looking for. I was really excited to be working with him just after the initial meeting. I booked as soon as I could for DJ and MC services. We filled out a great worksheet where we selected specific songs that we wanted played throughout the night. The wedding was amazing. He made sure to run requests by us first which was really nice. He also kept the mood fun and upbeat the whole time, throwing in some fun things during what can be boring times at some weddings. The music was on point for the whole thing. Our guests, as well as ourselves had such a great time on the dance floor. He was able to provide exactly what we were looking for and we had a packed dance floor the entire time. The 5/5 stars are well deserved!
