They really made me feel like my big day was the most important thing they've got on their to-do list. I felt like a queen in the session. The owner is so sweet and you can tell she really has passion for her business along with her daughter. I would recommend Bliss 1000x for quality of dresses, professionalism, cleanliness, and knowledge. Thanks Bliss!

I had a wonderful time dress shopping at Bliss. The staff was very professional, helpful and knowledgeable on their inventory. My husband and I also went with Bliss for wedding party attire. We were both very pleased!

I picked the first dress I tried on and even though that ended up being the one - I was able to try on severl types of dresses to make sure. I had a wonderful experience and would reccommend it to anyone.

Love, love, love how my day turned out! Jodi and crew did an amazing job of helping me find my dress and workout all the details for my massive bridal party. My 7 ladies and 13 guys al looked great and were happy with the help they got also. Having been in a wedding a few months before mine, I was glad to find my guys had no issues getting fitted for their tuxes, unlike the previous wedding we were in. Thank you ladies for everything!!!

I had the best wedding dress shopping experience here at Bliss. They made me feel exactly how every bride is supposed to feel looking for the dress of her dreams.....Beautiful!!!

My sister found her wedding dress at this store in 2003 and they have since expanded the store and had a huge selection of wedding and bridesmaids dresses. I found both my wedding and bridesmaid dresses here and loved the dresses and the service that I received from Bliss. Thanks Jodie!

Great dress selections in Northeast Iowa

I went to Bliss Bridal just because I was already going to be in Charles City looking for a wedding dress, so I figured I'd stop in and make it worth the trip. This was the FOURTH day that I was looking for wedding dresses, so needless to say, I'd seen a lot of dresses at that point. I was so impressed by the styles that Bliss carried. I was able to Facetime with the owner before my appointment to make sure they had something I was interested in. I was specifically looking for satin, and they had so many options! I found three that I loved so much I had to come back the week after to decide which one was for me. I'm so glad I made the trip.

The only negatives that I have to say about Bliss is that there is a weird policy where they don't let you take photos in the wedding dresses until you purchase a dress. That made it hard for me to walk away from the three that I loved and think about them before I came back to try them on again. My veil order was also delayed because of an error in the length. I still got it in plenty of time though!

They did a great job on last minute alteration on my wedding dress! I didn't buy the dress from their store but they were still very helpful!

Great service from a personal vendor. I would have like to photograph a dress prior to buying since my family couldn't make it to try on dresses. This would be my only critique.

Jodi was a pleasure to work with. From trying on multiple dresses to helping find the dress that would look best on me she was very helpful and always nice. It was by far the best bridal gown shopping experience I have seen (Bliss was the only place I tried on dresses but I have shopped with friends at other stores around Iowa). My only issue was that the veil I ordered was not the veil I received. I know that it was not Bliss's fault but it would have been nice to have the time to fix the issue or at least been given a call to explain that the veil would look different than what I ordred rather than find out about it on my wedding day when getting ready.

Found my dress on my first day shopping! Bliss sent out a survey prior to my appointment, so when I arrived she already had dresses picked out for me in my price range. The dress I picked wasn't in the color I wanted, so Jodi (the owner) went out of her way to contact the designer and I was able to have my dress custom made in the color I wanted! Everything was handled promptly and the fitting was painless. Very happy.

Most of the dresses I tried on were not at all what I was looking for, however, they were in my original price range. I felt like I wasn't able to look and pull some that I did like to show the lady to give her a visual of what I wanted. This could have led to other options. My personal attendant who was with me asked about a dress she saw by a designer she knew of. I liked this dress better than any others I tried on. I tried this dress on also and ended up buying it. I went above price range to get this dress. I feel like there were other options slightly above my price range I would have liked better. Also, no one explained the different types of lace to me. I saw this done while shopping with a friend of mine for her dress and would have appreciated seeing more of a variety once everyone had a clearer idea of what I was looking for.

Poor experience

Terrible customer service from the owner. She makes excuses and doesn’t follow up with mistakes. My husband had the wrong vest and tie. None of the handkerchiefs were ordered with the tuxes. They didn’t offer to pay for the extra cost even though it was their mistake. They told me alterations were included before I ordered bridesmaid dresses and then there was a fee. Owner was rude and not engaged. Paige is the best and the ONLY reason they kept my business. My son and daughter in law had issues with their wedding as well.

The one helping me find my dress was not friendly or happy to be helping me. She didn't want to show me very many dresses. And after i went to a different bridal salon, i realized how cheap Bliss's dresses felt.

Did not like the situation with my bridesmaids dresses....they all had to pay full price for a dress that WAS NOT even available, then had to go with a totally different dress after the fact. Every single one of my bridesmaids were measured wrong or maybe it's because we had to have a different dress and then never got recommended to get measured again.. So all the dresses were 4x bigger and each of them then, had to pay for alterations on top of that....place was way over priced for many things. That's just the start of it and would never be back or recommend bliss to anyone.

They were very very rude i got my daughters dress and its was $300 and then and additional $10 for them to supposedly to alter it and they didnt do a thing and you can tell they didnt open it up at all very unhappy and want all my money back because they didnt care at all and i felt they just wanted the $$ and thats all very very unhappy dont ever go here
