I wish there was a way to give The Bliss Barn at Sherwood Forest MORE than 5 stars. This place is so much more than a venue. My now husband and I were treated like family from the second we stepped into the venue for the first time. When we booked our date, the barn had not yet been completed, but we saw the vision for what Tammy and her staff were creating. Along the planning process, so many resources were given to us to help make planning our wedding easy! From the beginning, there was clear communication and quick responses if there was something we needed. They were even willing to allow us to bring our own ideas to life for our day! When we walked into the venue for our rehearsal dinner, we were blown away. You can tell that every detail of this venue was created with so much love, thought, time, and care. It is truly breathtaking from the bridal party suites, to the outdoor ceremony space, the reception space and even the farm around the venue. Beyond just the looks of the venue, the staff truly went above and beyond to make our day perfect! Everyone was so kind to us and made our party so memorable. The venue owner, Tammy, was there for us all day long, ensuring everything was perfect for us. Our day would not have gone as smoothly and perfectly as it was without her. We love her and everyone at The Bliss Barn. We could not have imagined tying the knot anywhere else. Driving over the hill to the venue is an experience in itself! At first you can't see anything but the fields of grass, and then you come over the hill and see the cupulas peeking above the trees as well as the heart shaped pond. The venue is incredible. When you walk inside you are surrounded by beauty instantly. The ceilings in the grand reception area are 4 stories tall! They are breathtaking! The huge chandeliers down the center are stunning. The bar is huge and well thought out, it's not just a small afterthought in the corner. The bathrooms are even beautiful with granite and marble in the ladies room! The mens room is equally as beautiful but very masculine. There is rich and beautiful granite on all of the counters in the bathrooms, bar, bridal suite, grooms lounge. The vibe in the venue is very inviting and warm. The bridal suite is AMAZING!!! The grooms lounge is masculine and warm as well! Both suites have a deck for a breath of fresh air but the groom can't see the bride's deck! The exterior is very beautiful. It has board and baton siding along with a stunning copper roof! The sound of the birds and the bugs singing outside is like a symphony to my ears. The lightning bugs add so much sparkle and magic when it gets darker outside. It is so relaxing and blissful there! The owner is very kind and helpful. She truly cares and is very genuine and straightforward which I truly appreciate. I think she has thought of everything! Her team is super responsive and caring as well. If you are looking for a beautiful venue that is secluded, stunning and just plain incredible, the Bliss Barn at Sherwood Forest is your place!!!Bliss Barn at Sherwood Forest's reply:
