Beth was amazing
This year to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary we decided to throw a Halloween themed party and surprise our friends by renewing our vows. We were so fortunate to find Beth who played along by showing up in a unicorn costume so no one would ask who she was.
Before the big event she took the time to go over all of our options and met with us a few time to discuss what we wanted from our ceremony. We went for a traditional Jewish ceremony and included our grown children. She worked with us to incorporate modern Jewish traditions.. as it seems some things have changed slightly in 30 years. She gave us all of our options and carefully planned a ceremony that was absolutely perfect. It was everything we wanted. She is an amazing cantor and our friends were so touch by her singing, her enthusiasm, her wit and humor and her explanation of the traditional ceremony. It was a memorable night and we thank her.

Cantor Beth is an incredible person and made went above and beyond for us for our ceremony. We worked with Beth for months before the wedding. She helped us through some personal difficulties and was incredibly patient, but she mostly spent time getting to know us and helping us to get to know ourselves and one another on an even deeper level. Our relationship became even stronger and her guidance further solidified our reasons to commit to one another in marriage.
We wanted our ceremony to have traditional Jewish elements, while still remaining authentic to us and our relationship. Signing the Ketubah, circling one another, and the other traditional aspects were meaningful moments, and Beth thoughtfully explained them to the guests unfamiliar with Jewish traditions. She also incorporated what she learned about us to discuss how we bring out the best in one another, and reading our vows to each other was so special.
Our friends and families loved the ceremony and were so enthusiastic about Beth! They loved her humor, thoughtfulness, beautiful singing voice, and that the ceremony was so personal and emotional. We are truly thankful that we had the opportunity to be married by someone so passionate about bringing two people together, and she helped create memories that will last forever.
Thank you Beth, for everything. Our absolute favorite part of the entire wedding day was the ceremony and we have you to thank! -

Cantor Beth was an incredible officiant and was a pleasure to work with! She met with us multiple times prior to the wedding to discuss our vision and really make our wedding reflect us as a couple. We thought it would be difficult to get the ceremony perfect as we are an inter-faith couple, but working through that with Cantor Beth made it a breeze. She made suggestions when necessary and really listened to us. She was always available via email or text with any questions that we had. On the day of, Cantor Beth came early and led a beautiful ketubah ceremony before the wedding ceremony. The ceremony was everything we discussed and we couldn't be happier. Our family all had wonderful things to say about the ceremony and Cantor Beth. We hope you choose Blessings by Beth! -

Asking Beth to officiate our wedding was one of the easiest decisions that we had to make during the wedding planning process. Beth is so knowledgeable of various traditions and builds the ceremony to perfectly reflect the couple. She worked with us on what we wanted to reflect in our ceremony and gave us such wonderful words of advice on how we can continue to foster a loving, strong marriage. We received so many compliments about how beautiful our ceremony was from our choice of reading to our promises that Beth had us write separately and send to Beth. We had countless happy tears shed throughout our ceremony, including ourselves when we heard each other’s promises to one another. Beth is absolutely amazing, and we are so incredibly lucky to have worked with her on such an important day of our lives! -
Lauren Sent on 05/20/2018We are so grateful to have been lucky enough to meet Beth, and that she agreed to come all the way to Annapolis to officiate our wedding. Beth is wonderful – she made a sincere effort to get to know us and truly personalize our ceremony. We love that she didn’t just ask us questions from a standardized list – everything flowed naturally, and it was so nice to have the opportunity to get to know the her as well instead of just spouting off facts about our relationship. Between meeting for brunch and taking barre classes together, we came to feel like Beth was family. My mom loved Beth even more when she told our guests to put their cell phones away so they could truly be present for our ceremony.
As an interfaith family, we weren’t equally aware of what to expect. My husband’s side was very familiar with Jewish wedding traditions. My own parents had attended some Jewish weddings but didn’t have a great understanding of what everything meant. Beth made a conscious effort to sit down privately with my parents and sister to walk them through the ceremony, explain what everything meant, and answer the 5,000 questions my mom had. The extra effort she made to make everyone feel comfortable was so appreciated.
I absolutely love how open Beth was to customizing everything to make it really fit with who we are and the relationship that my husband and I have built. Our ceremony felt very modern, but still honored the Jewish faith. We were treated as equals and encouraged to push for what we felt was appropriate for our beliefs.
You should contact Beth literally right now. She’s the best. Seriously, several of our bridesmaids and groomsmen who had already planned weddings for the same year told us after ours that they wished they had been able to work with Beth, because she was so much fun and made the day even brighter. Beth, thank you for everything! <3 <3 -

She took the time to counsel and guide us throughout the entire process. She met with us several times to discuss what we wanted in our wedding ceremony. She was able to create an amazingly unique service that was truly representative of our personalities, beliefs, and our lives as a couple. Our ceremony was interfaith, and Beth did a wonderful job explaining our faith traditions so that all of our guests felt comfortable throughout our ceremony. Thank you, Beth, for all of your guidance and support throughout the process. We are forever grateful! -
