Krissy did an amazing job of making sure everything was taken care of. She was friendly, prompt, and very knowledgeable. The venue was beautiful, and the indoor/outdoor reception area was perfect for our Fall wedding. Overall, it was a great experience working with Blacklake!

We are so happy we chose Blacklake for our ceremony and reception location. The day-of coordinator Krissy, is the reason we chose this location. She has years of experience planning weddings and went above and beyond to make our day perfect. She not only helped us with the planning at Blacklake but she helped us find other vendors that fit our vision and budget.

My husband and I got married at Blacklake a few months ago. We could not have been more thrilled with how it went. Krissy, our Event Coordinator, was there for us every step of the way, and made sure that the day went seamlessly. We did not have to worry about anything the day of. Everyone commented on how beautiful the venue was. We're so glad we went with Blacklake Golf Resort! Definitely the best value we found after doing a lot of research on wedding venues. Highly recommend.

Ashlee Hillier was our event coordinator. What can we say, her helpfulness, hospitality, and overall strong work ethic can not be beat. We are so incredibly grateful for her. She helped us with so many things for our special day, and went above and BEYOND what she was getting paid for. You will not find a better coordinator than Ashlee, you simply won't. Blacklake Golf Resort exceeded our expectations for our wedding. Bill Burney, the manager, is so awesome and we were lucky to have him as well. When you walk in to the doors of Blacklake, you are treated like you are family. We will forever be grateful for Ashlee, Bill and all the hardworking staff at the beautiful Blacklake Golf Resort. My wife and I initially booked our wedding at Blacklake with Ashleigh Enders, but she accepted another opportunity elsewhere and was replaced a couple of months after booking. We were a bit concerned but her replacement, Ashlee Hillier, was every bit as attentive and helpful as Ashleigh Enders was. The beauty of Blacklake and the level of attention and service their staff provided us were the main reasons we chose to book our venue there, along with the amazing deal we got for a Monday wedding! After meeting with Ashlee for the first time, my wife and I felt every bit as confident in her as we did in the first Ashleigh.

The beauty of Blacklake and the level of attention and service their staff provided us were the main reasons we chose to book our venue there, along with the amazing deal we got for a Monday wedding! After meeting with Ashlee for the first time, my wife and I felt every bit as confident in her as we did in the first Ashleigh.
About two months before our wedding we learned the head chef had been let go and replaced, and this also left my wife and I a small bit concerned until we met the new chef, Andy. Andy is the real deal! His food was the hit of our wedding and my wife and I are still telling anyone who will listen about the jalapeno hummus and couscous lettuce wraps he whipped up on the fly for our vegan guests.
The value that comes with this place is unrivaled. Some nearby venues charge in excess of $10,000 just for the location, and this does not include the use of chairs, tables, cutlery, napkins, or anything else. For a little over $3,500 my wife and I got the Blacklake venue for our ceremony and reception, the tables, chairs, cutlery, napkins, FOOD, and several staff members passing out appetizers and assisting in any way possible throughout the whole process. They catered to our every need, letting us incorporate golf carts into the wedding ceremony and even giving us clubs and balls for some fun photos with the photographers around the golf course.
Overall, this place was everything we could have asked for. We needed to do a wedding on a budget and this place fit right into our price range and exceeded our expectations. Thank you so much Ashlee, Bill, Andy, Ben, Sunny, and everyone else at Blacklake!!!!

The day before the wedding we were able to go and decorate the banquet room and hold rehearsal. She is present to make sure everything done to the last detail is taken care of.
On the day of the wedding she works with other vendors so you don't have to worry about it. She opens up her office for the bride to wait for the ceremony to begin (without any prying eyes). Even when things go wrong (rings left at the hotel) she is there to help look and even remind you that it’s okay to do it without them or make everyone wait. Once the ceremony is complete she handles the cocktail hour as you go and get beautiful photos on the golf course. At the reception she made sure we had everything that we needed not just while we are at the table but through the whole reception. (boxed up my food because I didn’t eat). They offer cake cutting and champagne toast which is very helpful. All the staff were great, the waitresses, the bartender, and of course Ashleigh. At the end of the night, the staff box up all the decorations and all you have to do is come pick them up.

Ashleigh works very hard to make sure your special day is special. All the work and effort she puts in is worth it. Her and her staff made our day very special. Everything went off without a hitch! (And the rings!)

I am so happy with how my wedding turned out. All the staff was wonderful and so helpful. Ashleigh was extremely helpful and so sweet! She made sure my wedding was exactly like my husband and I wanted. The food was also great! I would definitely recommend Blacklake Golf Course to anyone getting married in the area!

We recently had our wedding reception at Blacklake Golf Course and we couldn't be more happy with how it turned out. The events coordinator, Ashleigh, is beyond amazing. She went out of her way to make sure our day was just as we planned. She was really the deciding factor for us choosing this venue. She was kind, friendly, and she really knows her stuff. The food was incredible, people couldn't stop talking about it. The view is gorgeous too. All in all, you won't be disappointed!

Ashleigh is a true representative of a dedicated employee of Blacklake.
She assisted me with this birthday party for 50 people, and I felt more than assured that everything was taken care of.
She went out of her way to help this birthday party be a surprise, and I personally thank her for that.
The food was DELICIOUS!!! Hats off to the people that prepared the appetizers...(I truly recommend the Macaroni and Cheese Bar) It was a hit!!!
Thank you once again for truly memorable event.

Ashleigh the coordinator was awesome and there every step of the way. Always patient and flexible. All the staff at Blacklake are very professional. The chef and his staff made an amazing menu for us. The location is beautiful and well maintained. Truly an ideal place for an outdoor ceremony and cozy reception.

Blacklake was a great place for me to host my wedding ceremony. The course is gorgeous and there were many different options in terms of where I would like to have my ceremony held. Ashleigh was great at showing me around and being flexible in accommodating my needs. I was initially planning long distance and Ashleigh answered all of my questions in a very timely manner!

Ashleigh also provided great day of coordination with my bridal party and getting all the guests seated down at the reception site. She set up a welcome table with water/lemonade and some other items that I had requested be out. My day went smoothly and largely because I had such awesome people by my side helping out, one of them being Ashleigh. I would definitely recommend Blacklake!
