We truly couldn’t have asked for a better duo than Lise Dugger and Sean Prolago at our wedding on October 25, 2025.
Lise led our day-of setup and coordination and exceeded every single expectation. As a professional event planner myself, I know exactly how much detail and precision goes into making a wedding day run smoothly, and Lise absolutely nailed every moment. Her calm leadership and flawless execution made the day not only perfect, but better than we ever could have imagined. If you are even considering hiring Lise as your day-of coordinator, just do it. It will be the best decision you make!
Sean was equally incredible. He navigated faulty outlets and unexpected lighting issues at the venue with total ease, even helping us get the ceiling lights working when no one else could. He also worked with my dad and the bartenders to start the dance floor exactly how we wanted. It was awesome. Beyond his technical skill, he brought heart. After our ceremony, he surprised us with an alarm clock stopped at the very moment we said “I do.” It was such a thoughtful, personal touch that brought us both to tears.
Together, Lise and Sean created the most seamless, joyful and truly FUN celebration we could have hoped for. Absolute professionals and even better humans. Five stars isn’t enough!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Alex was amazing to work with before the wedding and during. We were complimented on how great and fun the wedding and I truly believe Alex is the reason people had an amazing time. I don’t think people stopped dancing the whole time including the groom and bride.

We had Matt as our DJ and we could not have imagined it any better! He was so flexible and so attentive leading up to the wedding. We were so pleased with Black Tie Celebrations, but especially Tony our DJ. We wanted somebody that was bilingual, as we are Hispanic and most of our guests speak Spanish. When I mentioned that, without hesitation they found me a bilingual DJ and he did a phenomenal job and was so easy to work with. He played all the songs we requested and I received great feedback from all our guests, saying they had an amazing time and the music wasn’t too loud so they could still have conversations and not have to scream. Would 100% recommend Black Tie Celebrations!

Justin was the absolute best decision we made for our wedding reception! We gave him a massive playlist of 950 songs, and he didn't just play them—he crafted an unforgettable experience. His ability to read the room and create perfect mashups kept the dance floor packed all night. We lost count of how many guests came up to us saying it was the best wedding music they’d ever heard! Justin was amazing!! He talked with us to get our vision down perfectly. The dance floor was lively the entire time and we got so many compliments on how much fun our wedding was! This was all thanks to our great DJ!

Blacktie exceeded our expectations from start to finish. We were looking for a DJ who could read the room, set the mood and engage our guests and Sean knocked it out of the park. We can't be happier with how things turned out. His setup was amazing with superb aesthetics and quality sound. His enthusiasm was infectious and his passion for music was evident in the way he was able to keep our evening flowing, choosing just the right song for each moment and handling requests from the crowd. He kept the energy high throughout the night and catered to all of our guests' diverse tastes (it was a multicultural wedding). He is a fantastic communicator and put our mind at ease before the event. Our guests had an absolute blast. Our first dance was so dreamy--their fog machine created a surreal landscape for us, like we were floating through the clouds. Their bubble machine made our grand exit truly magical. We wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone trying to elevate their event for an unforgettable experience. Thanks again, Sean, and Blacktie!

What dance floor dreams are made of!
My husband and I had a wonderful experience with Shaun and the Black Tie team! My husband was very nervous about how to dance with his mom, and step mom and make them both happy and right away Shaun made him feel so comfortable from the first phone call! I remember being on the dance floor, and when I was chatting with people off the dance floor looking at the dance floor saying “this is what couples dream about their dance floor looking like” testament to Shaun, and his team for playing the bangers! Also we used the Rover Photo Booth and it was a huge hit! And the ladies working it were so fun and friendly! Thank you again Black Tie for helping make our day awesome!

Our wedding was a beautiful day and evening! Terrance had all of use enjoying ourselves, let one of my flower girls guest DJ, and the party was hoppin!
Unfortunately we had a medical emergency in the middle of the party. Terrance responded immediately by getting our coordinator’s attention and everyone out of the way for the medical professionals to help. Thankfully our family member is ok!
Afterwards, Terrance let us decide how to proceed and was empathic and accommodating! Could not have asked for a better DJ!

DJ Justin is Cowboy Country approved!!!
Justin was met with the challenge of stepping out of his comfort and in to country music. He absolutely killed it!! He was an absolute joy to be around and added so much fun to our day by just being around. He played soo much good music that I had to change out of my wedding dress and in to my wedding morning pajamas just to keep up with the party! The BEST DJ ever!!!
Justin Hambleton with Black Tie Celebrations is hands down, the BEST DJ out there! Our wedding had a lot of moving parts to begin with, but Justin was easily the most positive and fun vendors we had there that day and it really helped with the overall atmosphere. He was able to be flexible in handling all of our microphone needs during our ceremony in a tent outside our venue and then quickly transitioning into DJ mode during our reception. Our music preferences were more country and 80's based, but our wedding was also being held on New Years' Eve, so the transition from reception to after party was super important! I received the MOST compliments based on Justin's ability to read the room, music wise, going from country to pop for our New Years' Eve transition. And even in between he was able to add special dances with my husband and his grandmother that we had not originally planned and it fit in perfectly!
And I didn't even get to the best part... He included Confetti Cannons and CO2 guns, which were HUGE addition to the New Years aspect! Everyone loved it and each time was timed up perfectly with the music in all the right moments. I am so thankful for being able to have him at my wedding!

DJ Matt Smith did a great job!
First off, Matt is super talented as a DJ and our guests kept talking about how good his song transitions and mash ups were! He listened to our wishes and created a timeline so everything would go smoothly. He handled interactions with guests very well. Also, he was flexible in terms of adding/cutting certain elements on the fly. Would recommend the lighting package as well!

If you want exactly the party you want, Black Tie Celebrations is the team to work with.
We were okay with a more chill evening, as most of our friends and family are not big dancers, and we were pleasantly surprised to see many of them out on the dancefloor throughout the night.
Sean is who we worked with for the night and throughout the process, and he is hands down the best at what he does. Throughout the night he live mixed music to fit what the crowd responded to, and really just gave us the best experience.

Best. DJ. Ever!!!!!
When planning our wedding, we weren’t sure who to book for our DJ. Our planner/coordinator didn’t hesitate to recommend Alex, and after our wedding I know why! Alex was very great about communicating everything and anything we wanted for the wedding and made sure we were happy. If you want your guests to be on the dance floor all night, he is your guy!!! I can’t tell you how many compliments we got the day after about how awesome our DJ was and how much fun they had! We wouldn’t hesitate to book Black Tie Celebrations!

The best dj ever
My (now) husband and I could not have been happier with having Alex DJ our wedding. In preparation, he talked us through detail by detail everything that we needed and made sure we were ready to go. He was so flexible with our last minute changes. The party was LIT! From the moment that the speeches ended, no one left the dance floor. He knew exactly what to play and when. His transitions from song to song were epic. He kept the party going nonstop for 6 hours and I got MULTIPLE text messages after the fact saying how great he was and how fun of a party we had.
Alex is the best in the biz, and I could not recommend enough to hire him for your next event.

Dance floor was packed!

DJ Service was Great
Black Tie was great for our wedding. There was one issue but it was taken care of right away. Tony did a fantastic job. The dance floor was busy until everyone saw the sunset and had to go take pictures. Tony also did a great job during the wedding. He worked with everything we wanted. My brother sang, we had 'sport' introductions of the bridal party, and we had a fireworks show synced to a song. He met all of our needs and couldn't have asked for a better DJ.

Alex was the best DJ we could've asked for.
Alex kept the dancefloor full the entire night. No one wanted to leave the dancefloor because they were afraid they would miss another good song. He made our dollar dance flow so well and kept the transitions easy and quick. He pretty much coordinated our entire day. I would recommend Alex 100000%. Hands down the best DJ!!!

I would 100% recommend Sean and the Black Tie Team for your wedding. He did a great job of reading the crowd and picking songs to keep the dance floor partying, and smoothly guided us through the night with his MC skills. He also was flexible with me when I changed my mind on what song I wanted to walk down the isle to. Black Tie offers comprehensive packages with many available add-ons for a competitive price. We had uplifting, a monogram, and ceremony sound added to our package and the effect was magical! Not included in the package but earning Sean the “above and beyond” award are his PA skills, which we ended up needing after an injury to one of my guests. All in all my brother is now hiring this DJ for his wedding as well!

Sean and his team went above and beyond for our wedding. Sean was incredibly professional, timely, and incredibly competent.
The lighting was so great from the uplighting to the effects all around. The photobooth was a hit and getting the pictures back was so easy for us and our guests.
In so many ways Sean and his wife helped make our day incredibly special. You want your wedding day to be a collaboration of great people working in unison to celebrate two people's love and that is exactly what you get with Black Tie Celebrations.
I would book them for any event if I am looking for excellent service, communication, and professionalism.

Made our wedding perfect
We are SO thankful for Sean Prolago and Black Tie Celebrations! Our original DJ had something come up the week before our wedding, Sean stepped in and literally made our day perfect. He took us to coffee and we talked through the entire ceremony and reception. Our guests LOVED him and he really and truly just made our day more than we could have asked for. Alex worked with us through two wedding reschedules and made the process so easy! He was attentive to what we did and did not want, which made the night feel very custom to us as a couple. The party never died down because he kept the energy up all night. They go above and beyond to make things fun for your guest and do a great job at moving along the reception timeline (dinner, first dance, bouquet toss, etc). You won’t regret using Black tie Celebrations.

Caleb was very accommodating through his planning, organization, and overall execution of his DJ services. Made our wedding day very smooth from transitioning to our first dance to the way he dismissed everyone for food and cutting the cake. We even had to make some changes literally 5 minutes before entering the venue and he was very helpful and understanding. He did a fantastic job with ensuring our day went as smoothly as possible. Alex did an AWESOME job at my daughter's wedding!!! WOW! BlackTie! WOW!
We used the Blacktie DJ, equipment and photo booth. Our event had some logistical challenges AND we wanted things done a certain way. The Blacktie staff definitely delivered, from overcoming obstacles at the venue to killing it with the dance and party, we STRONGLY recommend Blacktie for both DJ sand Photo Booth. Our guests particularly like receiving their photo booth shots via text. Blacktie = Killing it!!!!

Sean with Black Tie Celebrations is literally the best DJ in Wichita. As a bride, you know music is an important part of any wedding, if anything it’s probably one of the things people actually remember from the whole wedding! You never know what you get when picking a DJ from
just reviews but mark my words, Black Tie Celebrations will bring hype to any wedding! Sean was extremely easy to work with and quick to respond. Trust me, he knows what he is doing! He made sure songs that were requested were played and songs that the bride/groom didn’t want weren’t played! Sean will be your personal hype man. He made all the bridal party feel comfortable and handled the guests with ease! I’ve had multiple guests at the wedding tell me it was the best dance party they’ve been to!! I would 100% recommend black tie celebrations to any bride/groom looking for a fun DJ! You won’t have to worry about the flow of the evening at all with these guys running the show!

What an amazing night!
We had a smaller wedding, about 70 people. You wouldn’t have been able to tell though with the way Sean kept the crowd alive! We danced until the very last song. I couldn’t have asked for a better DJ!

Alex at Black Tie met with us twice before the wedding to ensure he had the timeline down as he was responsible for ensuring the cocktail hour and wedding reception went smoothly - and it did!! He also played the music we requested, kept it clean but extremely fun, I don't know if anyone didn't dance at least once! Comments to us were "best DJ I've heard at a wedding", that says it all right there!

Sean and his wife were absolutely incredible in helping us make our wedding night be everything we wanted and more! I knew how vital it would be to have an awesome DJ for our wedding, but I was never prepared for Sean to be an all out coordinator/coach/MC/hype-man!!! I'll never forgot how Sean played little clips of game show music/sounds as he was busy setting up his sound equipment, all just because he noticed our nephew walking around on the stage pretending to run a gameshow! So many people told us how amazing Sean and his wife were at the wedding--the music was fantastic, he kept the party going all night, and his wife was so sweet and extremely helpful (checking in on us at the head table/helping with the AWESOME photo booth) Communicating with Sean was always quick and very organized. I loved my experience with Black Tie Celebrations. Both Sean and Alex are awesome! I had to make several changes to my wedding due to the virus and they were supper supportive and understanding! I felt like they truly care about me and that made wedding planning so much easier! As far as music goes, Alex did an amazing job making sure that my friends and family had a great time. I wanted a mixture of Spanish and English music and I just gave him a playlist and he made sure to play those songs. Both Alex and Sean have an awesome attitude and most importantly, they are motivated and passionate about what they do. They will do an awesome job at your event!

Black Tie Celebration is the BEST!
Not only did Black Tie Celebrations go above and beyond to listen to our needs and desires for our big day but they also improved upon these ideas. Their DJ's are awesome and really engaged with our guests. They provided music for our outdoor ceremony and it was of great quality. Highly recommended!

Best Entertainment/DJ Business in Wichita
Black Tie Celebrations was very easy to work with and was a huge part in making the wedding perfect. Our DJ, Alex, absolutely did amazing and got everyone on the dance floor and we stayed there all night. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who was looking for a Entertainment/DJ service in Wichita. Also, we had the gold interactive mirror for the photo booth and everyone (including us) LOVED it.

Phenomenal, Wonderful, the Best DJ/MC!!!
Sean of Black Tie Celebrations was so hugely influential in my wedding day!! Wedding planning can be hard, stressful, and time consuming, so please allow me to help you take one thing off your plate and search no further for a DJ/MC. Sean has you covered!! I promise! Choosing him was honest to goodness one of the best decisions I ever made. He is so good at what he does. He is knowledgeable, professional, and will go above and beyond to ensure that your day will be special. His attention to detail and his desire to ensure our happiness were so impressive and appreciated by my family. He really took care of us and made us feel so at ease. Sean was one of my first vendors, and largely through him, I was able to put together my wedding team. He has such an ability to see your vision and along with his extensive experience, make your wedding wishes a reality. He brought so much to the table - The Wedding Stringers (a string quartet that was INCREDIBLE), audio, lights, a photo booth, special request music/songs, and so much knowledge on how to make the night flow effortlessly and be enjoyed by all. He even helped me with a big announcement where I surprised our guests by revealing the news that my parents had just secretly remarried four days before our wedding. It was so special, and I feel so indebted to him. He pulled off a day that I will never forget and was an absolute joy to work with. He’s one in a million and will make sure your wedding is too!

Outstandingly Professional - A MUST BOOK!
I originally found Black Tie on Wedding Wire because of their outstanding reviews - and when I called Sean, he was very professional and extremely accommodating to my requests. I actually had one of his DJs, Alex, as our DJ at my wedding and we LOVED him. Alex has great experience and background in DJing, and knows how to read the room to ensure people are always on the dance floor. We gave him must play songs and do not play songs, and he followed that - but we LOVED when he read the room and got the crowd going! Alex did a fabulous job MC-ing too. He kept everything on schedule, checked in with my day of coordinator if there were any changes, and did a great job introducing everyone and announcing when we had cake/dances/late night snacks. We could not recommend Black Tie more!!! If you are looking for a profession, experienced, FUN DJ - you NEED to book Black Tie!!

There are not enough words to express our gratitude to Sean with Black Tie Celebrations!
He helped to make our daughter’s wedding not only a success, but he went above and beyond to help make all of her dreams of a perfect wedding come true! From the very first meeting, he was friendly, personable, energetic, organized and even gave recommendations on other vendors my daughter and son-in-law also chose to use. He knows how to run the show and make it fun for everyone! He has great ideas and was willing to help with whatever we needed! He was patient, even when we changed our minds on some things and he was always pleasant to work with! He was able to find some unique songs special to both my daughter and son-in-law. He helped with setup for a string quartet and he also setup a keyboard and microphones for vocals. He even helped us come up with ideas to make Kayla’s wedding unique and fun for the guest. He truly was a blessing and helped to relief my stress as mother of the bride because he simply is the best at what he does! He is so much more than a DJ/MC, he is a perfectionist that had the same goal as us, to make our daughter’s wedding perfect! He by far exceeded our expectations and we would highly recommend Sean Prolago with Black Tie Celebrations!

Professional and an amazing experience
I hired Black Tie Celebrations to DJ my daughter’s wedding. Plus, we used their mirror photo booth experience. Alex, the DJ, was incredible! His preparation to make the wedding everything my daughter wanted was second to none. This company is incredibly professional. The photo booth mirror was money spent well. Big groups and small groups were able to take pictures. The attendant was great. It was used the whole time and there was usually a line.
I loved working with this company from the prep to the photo booth mirror to the new Mr. and Mrs. last dance. ❤️

Sean from Black Tie Celebrations was impeccable
Sean went above and beyond for what we expected from him. I honestly cannot put into words how well he did, but I’ll try. My family and friends talked about him for days. Not only did he disk jockey for us, but also had sound for the ceremony, provided lights, crystal columns, and our robot photo booth. I recommend him 100%. He even gave us great deals on everything.
Besides everything above he did more. He set up the schedule for everything. He worked with everyone else (photography, minister, etc.)
Honestly he was a bargain because he made the night perfect and memorable. We had around 200 guests. Sean had nearly 75 people dancing all at once late in the evening.
He made announcing everything so much fun, his transitions were so cool, and I really can’t say enough.

After my mama lost her battle with cancer I started searching for somebody to handle the sound system for my mama celebration of life service. Hiring Sean to DJ our wedding was the best decision we made for our reception! He was full of great ideas that we had never even thought of to make the day even more special. Throughout the planning process, he was very organized and professional as well. When it came to the wedding day, Sean was the one that made the reception seamless and stress free for my wife and I. Shawn was very organized, very detail oriented, and very professional. He was instrumental in keeping us organized and making sure everything ran smooth.
