  Just got married at the Masonic Temple in Detroit. They did an amazing job. They were so sweet to our guests. Yummy espresso too!

  Black Swallow was the perfect touch to my daughter's wedding reception. My daughter's wedding was a morning wedding with a brunch reception of 140 guest.
  Vince and Alison were amazing. They ground coffee beans on the spot, had a variety of flavors and types of coffee drinks to choose from. They even made perfectly shaped hearts from the foam on the drinks, which made the coffee bar services more perfect.
  The display for the coffee bar was neat, clean, and professional, with an added touch of elegance. Both Vince and Alison looked and acted professional, but I do have to say they are one of the sweetest couples I have ever met. It was a pleasure doing business with them.
  Our guest loved the coffee bar. I got alot of good comments from the quest about the coffee bar.
  I would highly recommend using Black Swallow for any occasion. Vince and Alison, I cant wait to use your services again.

  Black Swallow provided service for us at a dessert event at our home for 50 people. The pre event communication was excellent, and Alison and Vince arrived
  on time as promised to set up. Set up was quick and their presentation table looked terrific. They provided specialty coffee during the 2 hour event and service was prompt with "no waiting in line". The coffee was great and the "coffee art" was appreciated by all. The Black Swallow team was very friendly, flexible, responsive and entirely professional. Every aspect "looked great". This is a great service, our guests loved it. It was different and special. We will definitely hire Black Swallow again for a party at our house.

  Black Swallow Espresso provided coffee bar services for my son's wedding on 3/1/14. It was a very snowy evening so I was a bit fearful whether Alison would be able to make it, let alone on time. Well, to my pleasant surprise, Alison and her husband not only showed up, but were early and ready to begin serving coffee whenever we were ready. The coffee bar was a huge hit at the wedding reception. As soon as we had the DJ announce that the coffee bar was open, a line formed very quickly. For the full two hours they served coffee, people were in line ordering their favorite coffee drinks. I loved the heart shape that was made on the top of the coffee by pouring the steamed milk in a certain artistic way. I would highly recommend Black Swallow Espresso to anyone looking for something unique and special to serve to wedding guests!

  I hired Black Swallow for my sister's coffee themed bridal shower. They were a huge hit! Alison was extremely easy to work with, professional, helpful, and accommodating leading up to the event. She answered all of my questions and always got back to me quickly, which is something I truly appreciate. During the event people could not get enough of the coffee. The set up was quick and looked great, the coffee was delicious (better than Starbucks!). We even had guests that don't usually drink coffee, make multiple trips to get more of their decadent lattes and coffees! Black Swallow exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants something extra special and unique at their event! People are still talking about them and keep asking if we are going to have them at the wedding. We hadn't originally planned on it, but it was such a hit that we are thinking of doing it now. If you are interested in having a barista at your event, you must go with Black Swallow! You will be so happy that you did!
