Incredible videography!

I don’t even know where to start! Alex Baker is INCREDIBLE! His talent is unmatched and he creates the most creative, beautiful videos I have ever seen!! We were so lucky to have him be our videographer for not only one, but two weddings!! We did a small wedding on 7.16.21 and our big wedding celebration/reception on our one year anniversary on 7.16.22 (due to Covid delays). Alex is very professional and works REALLY hard to record every little moment you would want caught on camera. His editing is also incredible. He tied the video footage, speech footage, and music from our special days into STUNNING videos that we will have forever to look back on!! His videos are SO well done and crafted so beautifully. He is also very organized and communicates very well beforehand so you know exactly what to expect before the wedding day. He always throws out fun ideas he has and makes the day so much fun and relaxed! His staff is also amazing!! Brooke was his second shooter and she was AWESOME! She was so nice and professional and we loved the footage she captured as well! You can’t go wrong booking Black Horse Videography!! They went above and beyond our expectations and will for you too!! Highly Recommend!

Alex is incredibly talented and professional. He responds quickly to texts/calls/emails. He helped me create my wedding timeline and stick to it. Black Horse captured the most beautiful moments from my wedding and created a highlight reel plus 40min video. Alex also graciously included a separate video of my ceremony homily upon my request. I received everything within our contract deadline. If you are looking for a videographer in the Buffalo area, I would highly recommend this team!

Talented team and beautiful video

I’ve known Alex for a few years now and knew he would do an amazing job capturing our special day. He did not let us down! He was right there for all the big moments throughout the night and caught even the smallest details too! We got our highlight reel back super fast! Highly recommend!

In Awe Of Their Work

WOW! Black Horse Videography's work is just that. We got married on July 2, 2021, and we already have our highlight reel video and it's stunning. The work Alex and his team does is beyond words. He was with me (the bride) on wedding day, and the creativity he came up with on the spot was incredible. After having to change the date due to COVID, they were still true professionals asking if we needed any help in securing our other vendors for the new date. I mean, what other vendor would do that?! Again, true professionals through and through and their work is magical. If you're looking for that, hire Black Horse Videography!

Worth every penny!

We hired Alex and Black Horse Videography for our small fall wedding and we are so happy we did! Our families were unable to attend our wedding so having a video that they could view at a later date was very important to us! Alex made sure to capture all of those special moments so we could share them with our loved ones later on and they were beyond perfect! He was so great to work with on our wedding day as well as Alyssa who answered all of my silly questions leading up to our wedding. The quality of the video we got was amazing and we couldn’t be happier! Thank you again for capturing our big day for us! We are beyond thankful for your talent Alex!

We loved BHV!

The Black Horse team was incredibly professional and great to work with. They showed us several examples of previous videos in our initial meeting with them to get a sense of their work. Everything they showed us was gorgeous, and our wedding video was no different. They were easy to contact throughout the wedding planning process and were very responsive. We'd recommend BHV to anyone!

Incredible! Well worth every penny!

Black Horse Videography was an amazing group to work with. I would easily give them 5+ stars. They are extremely professional. On my wedding day, you truly had no idea there was a camera on you. I truly could not of picked a better people to capture our day. At first I was very hesitant about getting a videographer when my sister used them, I fell in love. I am able to relive our wedding day through our incredible video. It still brings me to tears. I’m so grateful for their work! Without a doubt a fantastic choice!

There was a huge snow storm the night of our wedding and BHV still arrived early. We were impressed and relieved that the weather never set back our tight schedule. Alex and Amanda made us really comfortable while shooting, as my husband and I generally feel awkward in front of cameras. Within a week BVH sent us or highlight reel and we were extremely impressed! Everytime we watch the video it brings tears to our eyes. They truly captured all the emotion and happiness of the day. Reliving the moments over and over again is something incredibly special. We couldn’t be more excited to see our final video! Choosing Black Horse Videography to film our wedding was the best decision we made!

Cannot say enough about these guys. We were debating on getting video and I am so thrilled that we did. We got married on a Saturday and by Wednesday we had our short film which came out so beautiful. We cannot wait to get our full length film. The two videographers were so nice and so professional we couldn't even tell they were there. Would recommend hands down to anyone. Best videographer in Buffalo.

What a great find for our wedding in Buffalo, NY! So happy with Alex and his team (special thanks to Amanda S.) and the awesome work that they put into our wedding. Everyone was so invested in making sure we were satisfied with the final output. Very responsive to emails; thorough approach; patient and flexible; and the best videos ever! We had a 3 day Hindu wedding and we received amazing videos that are representative of every little detail, compiled beautifully into a memorable movie. The team went out of the way to accommodate all our needs. They were open to our suggestion for music and included all the little things we wanted. Black Horse is as good as it gets when it comes to cinematic wedding videography. Alex and his team worked closely with my husband and I to capture the most special parts of our wedding day. They went above and beyond to accommodate our creative requests when it came to music selection, featuring key friends and family members in our highlight reel and featurette, and best of all they are very fairly priced! We went with the Gold Package which was plenty of coverage and take-away video for us to love for the rest of our lives.

Alex and his team did an unbelievable job! They were wonderful to work with. We had so much fun working with Alex on our "Mockumentary". It was a hit at our wedding and we still receive compliments on how well done it was. We absolutely love our wedding video. We loved Blackhorse Videography and would recommend them in a heartbeat! From the moment we met with the owner, Alex, we could tell he was flexible and would be great to work with. We had watched many of the videos they have done off their website and we are thrilled with how ours turned out :) There's so many different factors to think about when wedding planning and it's necessary to cut some things out, but we are so happy we hired Blackhorse for our Videographer. There are a million things you miss throughout your big day and it's awesome getting to relive those moments through the video! We absolutely love our wedding video! We can not thank Alex and his professional team of videographers enough for their beautiful work. They did a phenomenal job capturing our special day. We would and will highly recommend Blackhorse Video to everyone. The quality of their work is outstanding, they listen to what you want, and pay attention to details that make your event unique.

After picking up our video, my husband and I sat on the couch and watched it for the first time. As hard as it is for me to admit on a review, the video was so beautiful that it moved me to tears. It is a shame that we're only getting married once because I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

Alex at Black Horse Videography did an absolute amazing job. I cannot praise him enough for the work he did. He met with me as soon as I contacted him, went through all the details, answered any emails I sent quickly, and when it was down to crunch time he provides an itenerary sheet so he knows where to be and when for the day of the event. I recv'd my highlight reel quicker than I expected and I loved it I pretty much watch it 3 times a month. We recieved our final video last week and I have watched it 3 times already! Highly recommend this vendor and I would use again for any furture events. Wonderful work.

Alex was very easy to deal with and accommodating. He and his assistants were extremely professional and easy to work with before and on the wedding day. We felt very comfortable and at ease during the wedding photos at multiple locations. Alex even helped out and took some still pictures while we were waiting for outr photographer. Alex posted the wedding preview clip within a short period of time after the wedding and we had our full wedding video within the time period promised. We and our family and friends are so impressed with the quality of his work. We absolutely love the preview clip and love being able to share it on social media. The full movie is great quality and captures all the important parts of the wedding and so many special moments. We are so glad we choose Black Horse videography, it was definitely worth every penny and we will cherish the video for the rest of our lives.

Black Horse Videography did a wonderful job capturing every moment of our 3-day Indian Wedding in Buffalo, NY! Alex and Patrick were a pleasure to work with and our wedding wouldn’t have been the same without them.

In addition to filming the entire wedding, they also put together a phenomenal Same Day Edit which played seconds before we entered our reception. This company can take any vision you have for your wedding video and make it a reality. We are so glad we hired videographers for our wedding so we can replay our events over and over and over again …but more importantly, we’re so glad we specifically hired Black Horse Videography!

Alex and his team are simply amazing. I was married on 09/10/11. Alex and black horse were not even the people we had originally hired. We were scammed along with about 20 other couples by a company called starlite productions of Buffalo, NY. We received our raw footage in the end but I was lost as to what to do with it. I came across black horse and was intrigued enough to contact Alex. It ended up being a great thing. He was willing to work with us after explaining what happened. He met and exceeded my expectations considering he was given very poor quality footage to edit. Poor is being polite. He took what was one of the worse things to happen to my wife and I, and turned it into something great. Alex I can't thank you enough. Going on two years and we finally watched a finished video. Thanks for everything. I would recommend these guys to anyone without hesitation. Alex and his team are simply amazing. I was married on 09/10/11. Heather and I had the difficult task of planning an out-of-town wedding from St. Louis. Out of the 15-20 vendors in which we engaged, Alex at Black Horse was one of the most responsive, accommodating and flexible vendors we had. Our biggest concern with 2 videographers is that they would "get in the way", but looking back at the events throughout the day, we didn't even remember his team being there, which says a lot about his ability to capture the special moments, yet not interrupt. Alex is also extremely talented at what he does and created a 3 minute trailer for us that was an absolute hit. Our guests have been asking for 6 months since the wedding about the video solely based on the quality of that trailer. Alex is also a good person at heart and after working with him at the wedding, would recommend him to anyone for their special event. His website was spectacular, and he also took credit card, which was a huge plus in my book. Great job Alex...keep it up!!!

We were married at The Jersey Shore and spent a decent amount of time reviewing videographers samples vs prices and were wholly unimpressed. Everything we were shown reminded me of my prom video! We had met Alex on a cruise the previous year and decided to check out his site. I knew we had to have him capture our wedding.

They made the trek south without a single complaint or unreasonable request and for a more-than-reasonable price shot our wedding in a way that impresses everyone who watches the final products. Having an awesome highlight reel waiting for us when we returned from our Honeymoon was such a treat. Our friends or family who couldn't be with us that day got a great feel from it and it was so beautifully made. Coverage of the ceremony and reception was perfect.

And lastly we cannot stress to our friends enough how cool it was to have the video testimonial booth. We really didn't know what to expect/weren't sure how many people had utilized it that night but it is definitely now our favorite part of our video. Especially those who chose to be videotaped after a couple trips to the bar.

If you are looking for the most talented video guy in the Buffalo area, then you need to hire Alex at Black Horse Video! Words cannot describe how AMAZING Alex is!! Our video is something we will have forever and Alex captured the day in the most incredible way! I cannot even imagine the editing time and work that goes into what he produced for us, truly a masterpiece. Alex is a great guy, easy to work with, great attention to detail, and lots of fun to work with! All of our guests enjoyed him as much as we did. Guests are still talking about “the best video” they have ever seen! Videographer to the rescue!!!! After being scammed from my first videographer, Alex from Black Horse was able to video my wedding with only 8 days for him to plan. Not only was he extremely professional and nice, but I never noticed he was even at the wedding! I've been at other weddings where the videographer is all over and in the way, but Alex had great control and knew everything he was doing. I could not be happier recommending him to any other bride in need of excellent service and quality. He has a unique and creative eye while he was filming our photo shoot, and had more patience than anyone else I had seen that day! I cannot say enough how great his services are, as well as his personality and professionalism.

Alex of Black Horse Videography is wonderful, and I wholeheartedly recommend him.

Our highlights reel was ready right after the wedding, and we got to share it with all of our guests while the fun memories were still fresh. My coworkers, who weren't even at the wedding, still talk about the highlights reel as the best wedding video they've ever seen. The full video itself is a perfect mix of humor and beauty. It captured much more than photography alone would have, including the music at our service and the speeches after dinner. His style is bright and honest, and he perfectly captured the cheerful excitement of our day.

There was actually a brief moment during our wedding planning that we considered skipping the videography, but watching Alex's work quickly convinced us otherwise. I'm so glad we made this decision, especially because my grandmother fell ill right around the time of our wedding, and couldn't make it. Thankfully, she recovered, and I'm very grateful that we were able to sit with her later and watch the video together. It meant a great deal to both of us.

Alex was very helpful during the wedding planning process. He asked us what we were looking for, encouraged us to be realistic about our timeline, and suggested some great shots we could look for. On the day of the wedding, he arrived before the photographer to set up, and was helpful throughout. When it turned out that our photographer was a little tough to deal with, Alex was infinitely patient. In fact, some of the best photos we have were the ones he snapped in between shooting film. Alex's fun and creative approach also encouraged our otherwise serious photographer to capture more of the lighthearted moments.

It is also nice to know that we were supporting a local Buffalo entrepreneur. His attentiveness, easy demeanor, and aesthetic sense were a great help to us on our wedding day, and we're so happy to have this permanent reminder of our day.

Blackhorse Videography shot our wedding in June. The entire experience was flawless. Alex (owner and chief videographer) met with us a couple times before the wedding in order to get details from us that would help him not only capture the best footage, but customize the video to our specific taste. He was easy to work with, not to mention personable and professional.

He and the other videographer were great the day of the wedding. They were not intrusive to us or our guests, but still shot the key moments and events of the day beautifully.

My wife and I JUST watched the finished product. It was incredible. There was so much going on during the day that we either missed or forgot about, but Alex got it all on tape. The quality of his shots and his editing is excellent.

We both will recommend him to everyone we know who gets married in the WNY area.

Alex (and crew) shot our April 2011 wedding and we were thrilled with the results. They showed up bright and early and captured so many parts of our busy day. We were more than pleased with our choice of videographer.

The highlight reel that Alex created is by far our favorite thing to share with our friends and family. It has snippets of the entire day put to music. It is truly a compilation of all of the best parts of the day.

The finished disc was wonderful as well, having the entire ceremony, confessional booth, and highlights of the reception. Even the cover had photos from the wedding!

It was easy to work with Alex and his crew. They were all very friendly and creative with their shots. I would definitely recommend working with Black Horse Videography. You won't regret it!

Black Horse Videography filmed my wedding in July and I would recommend them to anyone.

They captured gorgeous footage of our day and had many creative ideas of where to film and what to put in it. They captured everything we wanted and I didnt even notice the cameras which is so important for a wedding.

They posted a highlight reel within a week of our wedding. This was such a surprise but amazing because all of our friends and family could watch it. I have watched it over 20 times and it brings tears to my eyes each time because it had all of the important moments from the day!

The sound and picture of the video is perfect. While I cannot speak to what type of camera they use, I would recomment them to anyone looking for videography services. Alex and Black Horse helped make our wedding special since we will forever have the video!!

My husband and I had our wedding videotaped our wedding in May. We couldn't be more happy with the entire process. He is incredibly professional, thoughtful and organized.

The day of, he was everywhere at once. I am convinced he captured absolutely everything there was to capture- in addition, he's so friendly and warm that both of our families enjoyed his company and felt comfortable working with him. This resulted in some amazing candid and heartfelt commentary I believe another videographer would have been unable to capture.

The video is lovely and I watch it way more than I ever thought I would- and it has been an invaluable way to share the event with friends and family who could not make it. For something that we considered skipping to save money, I am so glad that we decided to tape our wedding and that we went with Alex! You seriously cannot get a better experience than Black Horse!

Black Horse Videography was amazing. Alex made us feel very comfortable and relaxed while we were filming both before the ceremony while getting ready and after with the entire wedding party. We received our wedding highlight reel less than a week after our wedding and it is amazing!! I have watched it at least 2 times every day since I got it. The quality of their video is amazing and they were able to capture so many moments perfectly while I didn't even realize they were there filming. I can't wait to receive the full length video and video photo booth videos. I would highly recommend them!

I have nothing but amazing things to say about Alex and the rest of Blackhorse! From the very first phone call, to all the emails, and last minute check-ins, I felt extremely comfortable and confident that they knew exactly what my husband and I were looking for in our wedding movie. The day of the wedding, they were my comedic relief as I was getting ready, one of our last pep-talks before the ceremony, and they blended so seamlessly into the day as to not distract from the wedding. True professionals in every sense of the word. Paying for most of the wedding ourselves, my husband and I wanted a videographer but were always battling with buyer's remorse. Not anymore! Blackhorse is worth every penny and more!

Be as detailed as possible as to what your vision is so the videographers know, had a minor hiccup on music used in the video but everything was taken care of . When you get the video you receive a cool snack pack movie box awesome idea! Video booth is a fun way to entertain guests .

My video was beautiful but it took 6 months to receive it. The videographer was very hard to get a hold of and would not meet in person before the wedding. He finally called me 2 days before the wedding to discuss details which obviously was a pretty busy time to be discussing details for the first time!
