We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Barry Sullivan for stepping in at the very last minute and being an absolutely incredible officiant! My very close friend called me crying & sick on Thursday (4/2) - I left the task of finding a replacement officiant up to my MOH & wedding planner/grooms sister. Within a couple of hours Barry had responded & agreed to join us! He was unable to attend in person the rehearsal on Friday (4/3) but he walked everyone through it over SPEAKER PHONE! So when I say we didn’t know each other before Saturday (4/4 WEDDING DAY) I really mean it, but you will forever be apart of our story! -

Barry was the best
Ours was not the typical wedding and Barry was willing to work with us. He was so much fun and was so great to work with. Having him being our officiant was one less thing I had to stress about.
We would highly recommend him. He was the best. -

We had a few meetings throughout the process, and being that our wedding was a destination - our conversations really helped us visualize and put our minds at ease for the wedding day timeline and space. Barry was wonderful to work with, personable, and really listened to what we wanted. Our ceremony turned out lovely thanks in huge part to Barry. He was helpful in walking us through the process, I would definitely recommend to other couples. -

Barry was the best officiant anyone could ever ask for. He was knowledgeable about the ceremony process and knew exactly where everyone needed to be. He made sure that I was happy with the ceremony and included everything we wanted to make it absolutely perfect. Barry has a wonderful personality and sense of humor that eased all the worries we had. My now husband and I left the day after the wedding for our honeymoon. Barry was more than willing to send in the official wedding license for us. Overall, Barry went above and beyond to make our day beautiful. -

Amazing officiant!
We are so happy we hired Black Hills Casual Weddings to officiate our wedding! We met with Barry a few times over the phone and Zoom since we don’t live in the area, and he was so easy-going and patient while explaining his services and the ceremony process to us. He even shared his favorite websites and readings. At the rehearsal his humor and general ease kept things light, and he pleasantly guided us through the steps. This translated easily to the wedding day and made the ceremony beautiful and fun! We received numerous compliments on the ceremony as a whole and the beautiful words he shared with us. We were so happy with our ceremony and our day, and it had a lot to do with Barry! We would definitely recommend hiring him to officiate your wedding! -

Barry was amazing! The easiest officiant to work with our rowdy crew and came up with a very heartfelt message for barely knowing Kyle and myself. Definitely recommend hiring him for all your wedding needs. -

Barry is Amazing
Barry was kind and open to any option from the start. Through the entire process he was helpful and friendly. The day of the wedding he was warm and flexible, in spite of a location issue on our end.
If you are looking to get married, Barry was immensely helpful every step of the way and did his best to make it feel personalized and tailored to our desire for our day. -

Great service!!
Barry was great!!! He is very professional and very flexible. We had to move our wedding time to an earlier time due to expected rain and Barry was very accommodating and able to make the necessary changes to meet our needs. Great service! He is very personable and easy to get a hold of if needed and answered any questions we had. Reasonably priced for the amazing service we received. He brought his own PA system, so we just used that for the ceremony music instead of hiring a DJ. Overall, I would highly recommend them for your wedding if you are planning a wedding in the Black Hills. -
