  Great experience!

  We recently had the pleasure of working with Taylor and her team for our wedding weekend, and we couldn't be more thrilled with the results. Our entire celebration felt like a dream, thanks to their exceptional planning and execution. We went with her hybrid option for planning - Taylor came in about a month from the wedding to review/finalize our vendor contracts, create a logistics timeline, be present for the final walk-throughs, and then be the day-of coordinator.
  Taylor was incredible throughout the entire weekend. Her calm, cool, and collected approach kept everything running smoothly, making our special day enjoyable and stress-free from any wedding logistics.
  The logistics packet provided leading up to the wedding was a game-changer. Its easy-to-understand format alleviated much pre-wedding stress, consolidating all the essential information in one place.
  We're beyond grateful for the attention to detail and the seamless execution of every aspect of our wedding. Without a doubt, it was a 5/5 experience! Thank you, Taylor!

  Excellent execution

  Taylor took care of the final details for our wedding with ease and expertise, and alleviated lots of stress for everyone else involved in wedding planning. We moved a large group of guests across 3 locations and her team executed flawlessly. Thank you Taylor and team!

  Trust in Taylor!

  Hiring Taylor was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We planned our wedding in 4 months, and decided to hire Taylor about halfway through, after most of our vendors were already booked. Since we were planning our wedding at a private residence, we knew there would be extra coordination involved in the weeks and days leading up to our wedding. Taylor specializes in these types of events, where every last detail needs to be brought in and assembled, so right away we knew we could trust her. We were able to truly relax knowing she was handling all vendor communications. She understood our vision, executed flawlessly and because of her our wedding day went without a hitch. Overall, Taylor was kind, professional, and very responsive. Her personality is so calm, cool, and collected, and it really helped put us at ease.

  Amazing planner!

  I highly highly recommend Taylor and Henderson Weddings and events! Taylor was so professional, kind, organized, and responsive throughout the entire wedding planning (and replanning) process. Taylor kept us on track for every detail leading up to the event and was able to execute our vision flawlessly from decor to schedule on the wedding day. Equally important, she was able to pivot quickly and effectively to keep the party going after a surprise flash flood that forced us out of the reception tent. Thank you, Taylor!

  Easy to work with & AMAZING attention to detail!

  If you need someone to help you pull off your big day, even if you don't think you need someone, do yourself a favor and hire Taylor & her team -- it will be worth EVERY PENNY. Though I knew we needed help, initially my fiancé wasn't sure, but agreed to retain her services. He became a believer when Taylor kept us abreast of changing guest capacities with our venue -- we would never had known without her, and she communicated with us before we started sending out invitations. She was always available for a consultation and provided us with ideas or vendor suggestions when we got stuck. She attended our walk-through and took excellent notes on what was discussed and what we needed. She continued to shine right through to our wedding day where her services & attention to detail were truly invaluable. She made small adjustments to our displays & helped set up our tables to our exact requests. She also worked with our venue & us to make sure our ceremony & reception went off without a hitch -- we were too anxious, & her steady hand kept us in check. Simply put, we could not have our special day without her, and I don't want to think about how it would have gone otherwise. Hire her -- you will not be disappointed!!!

  When we found our dream venue, we were worried because there was no on-site coordinator and we were required to bring one in. Lucky for us, they recommended Taylor and Black Bow Events, and I knew from our first conversation that she would be the best person to work with for our wedding. Her laid back demeanor was like a breath of fresh air compared to others we spoke with. She was so easy to work with, perfectly captured our style and vibe, and made everything easy for us. Taylor knew exactly how much support to give me and when, and took so much stress out of the planning process for me. She was never overbearing and was incredibly easy to work with. And her vision and visual style was incredible! On the day of, she took care of everything leading up to the ceremony so all we had to do was show up. And when we did, the space was incredibly beautiful, the execution was flawless, and it was truly perfect. I can't thank Taylor and her team enough for making our wedding more beautiful than I ever imagined it could be. I can't imagine a more perfect day!

  Taylor was my wedding planner and paper product designer. She is an organized, detail-oriented and flawless event planner. She can take a small idea and turn it into the vision you didn't even know you had. She was able to turn my "navy, white and gold" idea into the most amazing event I could have imagined. She is easy to talk to, accessible and was always able to calm my nerves. I would highly recommend Taylor and her team for full service wedding planning, coordination and design. She far exceeded our expectations.

  Taylor at Black Bow Events designed and printed our amazing two-sided save the dates with matching envelopes, and we were SO thrilled with them! Taylor is responsive, professional, and is the ultimate in paying attention to detail. We came to her already a bit behind in the game in terms of timeframe, and she totally got us on schedule while reassuring us and remaining super calm and receptive throughout the process. Taylor will also be acting as our day-of coordinator for our wedding-- thank goodness! Black Bow Events is the best, hands down.
  
  Updated 10/7/14: Taylor was an absolutely impeccable day-of coordinator. Everyone always tells you before your wedding that something WILL go wrong and that you should go ahead and be prepared for that. With Taylor, this pre-event steeling of your nerves is absolutely unnecessary. Everything was literally perfect. She thought of things that I never would have and was incredibly quick on her feet. We had an island-wide power outage (brief and the band kept playing!) and there was Taylor, immediately ready with the glow sticks! Some people even thought the power outage had been on purpose, the timing was so perfect! We couldn't have hoped for a better coordinator-- Taylor's service was flawless and ensured that everyone (our families included) could simply relax and enjoy the elation. She made our big day!

  Taylor Henderson at Black Bow Events was our coordinator for my daughters' wedding which took place at our home, with a large tent for 150 people. She was flawless in her coordination of all the vendors, the wedding party, and in seeing that everything ran smoothly. She was meticulous in detail and tireless in getting everything in place. Not only did we think that she was outstanding, but our caterer, (Trillium from Belfast, Maine) said they would love to work with her again. Her keen sense of timing coupled with her quiet communications behind the scene, created a wonderful flow throughout the wedding. Taylor has a very calming presence. It was a beautiful day and Taylor's expertise allowed us to be truly in the moment and enjoy the celebration to its fullest. We are very grateful for that. My husband and I give her the very highest recommendation!

  Taylor was responsive and proactive throughout the planning process. She always had new and fresh ideas while keeping in mind the overall vision. We had a minor day-of snafu and she remained calm and worked with the venue to settle the issues. The event was flawless and I didn't have to worry about a thing! The mark of a great event planner!

  Wonderful Planner!

  We hired Taylor Henderson as our day of coordinator for our Newport wedding and were overall happy with her work. We interviewed many wedding planners and chose Taylor because of her calm and friendly demeanor and her reasonable pricing. Also, she was the only planner we talked to that would be a full day of coordinator but also worked with us throughout the whole process to answer any questions and give us recommendations, without upgrading to a partial planning package. This was extremely helpful as we are not from Newport, so having someone to run ideas by and get vendor recommendations was amazing. She was also very quick to respond to emails and was very organized before the wedding. We also loved using Aisle Planner throughout the process as our primary wedding planner dashboard, spreadsheets, and checklists. For the day of coordinating, overall everything went smoothly, but there were a couple things that were missed, such as some personal flowers misplaced and some misunderstandings in the execution of the timeline. However, Taylor was great to work with throughout the wedding planning process, and we were really happy we worked with her!
