- Thank you to BJ's for being so great to us during our wedding! The chef, staff, bartenders, waitstaff and everyone who had helped us make our wedding completely amazing. EVERYONE raved about the delicious menu! We are SO happy that we chose BJ's for our wedding day! The Prime Rib was excellent! The mashed potatoes melted in our mouth! The summer veggie medley was delicious! Thank for for all the wonderful appetizers and fruit trays! I wish we lived closer so we could eat at BJ's all the time!! :) -

Cheryl Sent on 04/09/2013As everyone knows if the wedding food is terrible and the alcohol is subpar everyone remembers. BJ'S catering cooked all of our food on site the day of the wedding and our guests were amazed by it all! Food was steaming hot, veggies weren't soggy from sitting around all day, everyone loved it! We even ran low on liquor and they were able to get mo there before anyone even realized it. No pause in the food or drinks and they were even nice enough to offer up reheating the food at the end of the time that we had leftover! No one does that, but BJ's. Staff was polite and attentive to everyone and even took my plate for me from the stations to the table to be sure I didn't make a mess of my dress! Loved everything about them and absolutely use them for any catering needs in the future! Thank you Ronda and all your staff! -

Sarah Sent on 10/25/2011BJ's was wonderful to work with. They were responsive to match another quote we had from another vendor to start, which was awesome! And the food the night of our wedding was FABULOUS. We had a barnyard BBQ, with ribs and chicken on the grill, cornbread, mashed garlic potatoes, corn, baked beans. I still have people telling us how great the food was... something different and amazing! I highly recommend BJ's- very professional, easy to work with, and the best food! -

Shannon Sent on 12/18/2017Everyone from BJ's that played a part in our wedding made sure that we were satisfied with everything. The staff was fun, yet professional and accommodating. All of the coordination with Elizabeth for the year and a half prior paid off. Elizabeth truly went above and beyond to make our day special by making many adjustments for me throughout planning. I would highly recommend BJ's based on their quick responses to any inquiries that I had and high quality of service. Our guests seemed to love the food as well! -

Great service and food! The only issue we had was with the bartenders who were a little rude to the guests. Otherwise it was a great company to work with and everyone y raves about our food! -

We were recommended by our venue to use BJ's since we weren't familiar with the area, and they did not disappoint. We had them for our welcome dinner, reception, and they coordinated the pizza for late night snack. The food was priced pretty well and we were able to do upgrades for our appetizers and the beef option for our served buffet while still in our budget. All of the guests were raving about the food, and we have some family members hard to impress. We were also able to use BJ's for just the kegs and provide our own wine and liquor which was huge. The food tasting had so many options, it was hard to choose our final menu but you can't go wrong working with them! -

1. They decorated in the incorrect colors. Sage Green does NOT mean navy blue, the colors were even noted on the contract. This went unfixed. (image included)
2. They did not set up our linens even thought it was in the contract. Friends had to sneak away and to this during our rehearsal.
3. The linens were the incorrect size, even though they said they have worked our venue in the past. This is something they should have known. To be fair, this was solved by our venues GM who had to get on the phone with the owner.
4. The staff took some of our personal decorations. They were returned after multiple calls/emails trying to reach someone.
5. The bar staff… They were nice, but that doesn’t cut it. We picked out specific wines and beers and they were not displayed OR even mentioned to the guest. There were multiple times that we or our party were at the bar and guest would ask for a beer and they would just pour a beer without asking “which beer would you like we have _ and _”. Same for the wine, they were advertised at “white and red” when we had a specific white, specific red, and a cherry wine. When this was addressed we were told “it wasn’t a hit”, which would mean every single guest I asked who said they didn’t even know it was offered was lying.
6. Upon clean up we were told that the beer that we paid IN FULL was taken at the end of the night, leaving our wedding coordinator putting the beer into mason jars so it wouldn’t be taken from us. Mind you this was not mentioned in our contract.
7. Unprofessional, when we contacted the vendor after to complain about the issues we were responded to with a snarky email. (Screenshot of the email included).
In conclusion, while they did not completely ruin our wedding it definitely put a kink in what otherwise would have been perfect. The amount of money you pay these caterers you would expect better customer service and to at least get the colors correct. -
