Spring Garden Bridal Bouquet

I absolutely loved my bridal bouquet! It was full of many blooms and was the perfect shape I had envisioned (a looser tie). My blooms were in great condition and were exactly like I had outlined on my vision board. The entire process was seamless.

Excellent beyond expectations! Marla got out vision down to the detail! All the flowers were beautiful from the pedals to the wedding cake flowers! She even had something ready just in case on the spot for our little one year old ring bearer! We would recommend her over and over again!

Loved your work!

We loved working with Marla and Bixler Blooms for our wedding florist! She did an amazing job without much guidance from me. I loved all of the bouquets, trellis decor and table pieces. Plus, Marla delivered and set it all up for us at our venue, which was extremely helpful on our busy day. We would highly recommend Bixler Blooms for your special day - you won't regret it!

Highly recommend!

We are so happy we chose Bixler Blooms for our wedding! Marla was wonderful and so easy to communicate with. She listened to what I was picturing and had excellent recommendations for which type of flowers would be best in my arrangements. Marla was great to work with and her floral arrangements were top-notch! She really understood my vision for the wedding and created beautiful bouquets and boutonnieres. I rented her trellis and she created a gorgeous flower display for it that matched all the bouquets. Beautiful wedding flowers!

Marla was fantastic! I did not know much about flowers or even what I envisioned for my wedding flowers ahead of time, but Marla took the time to go over various flower types and colors using photos throughout our video call! She helped me choose the perfect combination of florals to fit our special day and everything came out beautifully! Would highly recommend!

Professionalism and Attention to Detail

Marla went above and beyond to design arrangements that were truly stunning and fit perfectly the aesthetic we were going for. There's nothing like that feeling of seeing her walk toward you on your wedding day, bouquet in hand, knowing immediately she listened to and executed every little desire you mentioned leading up to the big day. Walking down the aisle amongst her designs was so magical. Highly recommend!

Dream Wedding

My husband and I had no doubt that Marla Bixler would deliver incredible flowers for our wedding. Marla eased my nerves and worked closely with us for EXACTLY what we wanted. My husband and the groomsmen had adorable shotgun shell boutonnières and my bouquet as well as the bridesmaids were perfection. We recommend her 100% and are confident in her work.

Simply the best

Marla was great to work with. She was knowledgeable about our venue, which made it a breeze to figure out what arrangements we would need. She was also very patient and flexible. We had to postpone our original date due to COVID and she was so understanding and flexible it helped take a lot of stress off of us. She was also willing to adjust our order when we switched our ceremony location.

I wanted a blue dendrobium orchid as the main flower for our day and chose the bridesmaid dress colors based off of that flower. Marla encouraged my choice and brought us the most beautiful orchids I have ever seen! She did an amazing job with the arrangements. I was blown away by how gorgeous the flowers were and how amazing it was to work with Marla.

Beyond my expectations

Marla was fantastic to work with, despite my anxiety over minor details. The flowers were beyond my expectations and they were the most beautiful floral pieces I’ve ever seen! All of my bridesmaids loved their bouquets and couldn’t be happier! The flower girls got cute little flower poms and Marla made sure to make them both unique so each girl got to have her own style. Marla is absolutely the sweetest and really listens to what you want your bouquet to look like. She delivers a masterpiece and you can tell she puts her heart into her work and wants the bride to have that special piece she was looking for. She also made the background for my ceremony and made it a million times more beautiful and extravagant compared to the one I was expecting.

Marla was wonderful! She met with us and was able to create flower arrangements and bouquets exactly as I imagined them (and even better!). She worked with my husband and I to make changes to our flowers to keep it in budget. She came to the venue and set everything up. I loved working with her.

I used Marla for my wedding flowers and let me just say she NAILED IT! She really took the time to get to know me and what I was looking for. She explained things thoroughly to make sure I felt comfortable with what she was going to provide. I am really not very knowledgeable about flowers and I am a bit of a control freak at times but I never felt any sort of unease when working with Marla. She immediately understood exactly what I was looking for. She made great recommendations (both to meet my vision and from a budget perspective), made me feel comfortable right off the bat and she put together some of the most beautiful flower arrangements I had ever seen. She saw my vision even better than I did and the flowers were even more beautiful than I could have imagined. Very reasonable as well. Thank you Marla.

Marla was an absolute dream to work with. Planning a wedding from 16 hours away can be a challenge but Marla made planning the flowers easy. She was easy to talk to which helped since I was initially unsure about my "vision" for the flowers. She spent over an hour on the phone with me talking about types of flowers, arrangements and set up. On the day of, Marla even dropped off my bouquet and the bridesmaid's bouquets at the inn we were staying at and then drove to the venue to drop off and set up the rest of the arrangements and help the boys with their boutonnieres. Marla is a wonderfully creative and sweet woman. Anyone would be lucky to have her as their florist!

Marla has been incredible to work with! I’m pretty sure the first thing I said to her at our first consultation was, “I have no idea how to talk about what I want, and I’m not even sure what I want is what I want!” Somehow, she was able to take my rambling comments about my half-formed vision, combine it with her professional expertise and talented eye, and deliver florals for our wedding that simply took my breath away. Throughout the planning process, she was very patient with all my questions, and was understanding of a bride and groom planning their wedding long-distance. She personally oversaw delivery and setup of our flowers on the day of the wedding, and even helped recommend other vendors that we ended up hiring and loving. We couldn’t be happier that we were able to work with her.

If you are looking for an amazing florist, then The Sunflower Lady is the one for you. We are so thankful she was a recommended vendor for our venue and we will continue recommending her to friends & family. From the initial meeting to every email sent about flower choice and colors, Marla was so responsive and helpful. She set up our centerpieces beautifully and the bouquets and boutineers were amazing. Marla delivered the most perfect flowers for our wedding day. We were planning our wedding from over 1,000 miles away and she was quick to reply and jump on a call with both of us on a weekend evening. She was very personable and interactive in taking the time to get to know both my husband and I, our likes and dislikes to help create our vision for the day. She was extremely flexible throughout the process with me going back and forth on who's getting what, our budget, as well as a last minute request for a table arrangement. My bouquet was prettier than she even explained and I loved the touch of all local PA flowers. Our flower girl loved her flower crown and it stayed on her all night!! Marla (aka The Sunflower Lady) was amazing! I wanted to have a colorful wedding and was overwhelmed with the many different flower choices. Marla was incredibly easy to work with- she worked with me to create the perfect flower arrangements, completely nailing my colorful wedding!
I even had a couple last minute changes to my bridal party and vendor location (switched to the indoor one) and she was amazingly flexible, changing the arrangements to fit the new plan.
I would highly recommend Marla!

Flowers are a huge part of a wedding and we were so happy that Marla had our "back" when came to this important piece. Marla was patient, understanding and listened to what our overall vision was during the entire process. If you are an indecisive bride (like me) Marla walked me through each step. Marla did an amazing job for my wedding flowers! She did exactly what I had envisioned and MORE! Mine and my girl's bouquets = amazing... the centerpieces = beautiful...the smaller scaled bundles of flowers such as the details down the aisle, around the reception area, the cake table, etc. = gorgeous. I was totally blown away with the work she did for my wedding. Everyone keeps telling me how crazy beautiful all of the flowers were with the colors and bundles of how they were put together. SHE'S GREAT!!

I cannot recommend The Sunflower Lady enough! She was responsive, she had great ideas, and made suggestions that made the flowers beautiful and unique. When I first started planning for the wedding, my goal was to do as many DIY projects as possible. As I began looking at arranging my own fake bouquets, I realized I had NO idea what I was doing and was completely overwhelmed. Marla put me at complete ease from the second I met her. She asked very detailed questions and took the time to understand exactly what I was looking for with our wedding, right down to the fine details, in order to make our bouquets exactly what we wanted. I felt as though she really captured our simple but elegant wedding and found the perfect colored flowers to accent the wedding where I had envisioned it. She made sure to stay within our budget and was open to last minute changes. Not only did she make beautiful arrangements, but took the time to make sure everyone had their flowers and that the guys boutonnieres were pinned just perfectly. Marla was AMAZING. I knew from our first meeting that she would be our florist. She spent hours with my mother and I getting to know me, my vision, and working out some very creative ideas. Her level of responsiveness is absolutely incredible. She was super affordable, helpful the day of the wedding, and her flowers were impeccable. She executed the vision PERFECTLY. Her helpfulness was astounding right up until the day of the wedding.
One of the things we liked the most was without a doubt, that she used local florists including some from her personal garden. Best. Florist. Ever.

Marla did our October wedding and did an amazing job of bringing our concept from our heads to reality. Everything was perfect, from the bouquets to the centerpieces, to the custom alter flowers and swag for the stairs and arbor were amazing. Marla is an absolute delight with work with, and knows the floral business inside and out, she knows how to pick flowers and keep cost in your budget. Finally, the shadow box she made with our flowers and invitation after the wedding were perfect, something we can always treasure, its hanging in our living room now. Thanks for everything!

Marla was amazing! She was very attentive to our wants and was able to execute them perfectly!! She would respond very quickly to emails and worked with us when we wanted some slight changes and additions to our order. If you're looking for a florist for your wedding, look no further. First, when my fiancee (now husband) called her for a quote, Marla dropped what she was doing to answer all his questions. Then, we set up a meeting with Marla for a free consultation. She spent well over half an hour with us in person. We explained what the wedding would involve and the types flowers and the colors of flowers we were interested in. We started with an idea, and she suggested a number of flowers that fit within our budget and matched the feel we were going for. Marla provided us with a bride's bouquet, a toss bouquet, and multiple boutonnieres and corsages for family. She also created lovely centerpieces (she offered two different price points for this, which was helpful) in rented glass vases. Marla donated the flowers to a hospice the next day. In short, the quality of the flowers was stunning, and Marla was a joy to work with.

Marla and her beautiful creations are an absolute delight! I was blown away by how gorgeous all of our flowers and greenery were on our wedding day. I remember standing with my bridesmaids holding their beautiful bouquets right before our processional started, and I was just amazed by the beauty around me. My fabulous photographers (Dan & Sunny Graybill) recommended Marla. I met with her and 3 other florists before choosing her - but it really wasn't even a choice! Her designs, personality, and pricing were the perfect combination. At our meeting, Marla went over the flowers for every single arrangement and combined my ideas and desires with her incredible knowledge and experience. She did my bouquet, 6 bridesmaids bouquets, 12 boutonnieres (each unique!), 9 corsages (each unique!), garland & flowers on our arch, 14 reception centerpieces, and she included an escort card table arrangement for free! At the last minute I also asked her to add some greenery for a backdrop at the reception, which she was quick to accommodate with a sketch and revised contract (her online contracts were so convenient!). She also had me come to her workshop a few days before the wedding to see her progress on my bouquet, and she was able to make a few tweaks to it for me. I also requested unique centerpieces - leafy branches in tall vases - and since the trees didn't have leaves yet (mid-April can be iffy), Marla glued real leaves to real branches and didn't change the price. That was beyond awesome! Marla was such a joy to work with, and I will always treasure my memories and photos of my gorgeous wedding flowers! I wholeheartedly recommend the wonderful Sunflower Lady!

Marla did an amazing job with the flowers on our daughter's wedding on September 26, 2015. We received so many compliments! She is very easy to deal with and so down to earth. She did a beautiful job with the ceremony space with flowers on the sides of the aisle chairs, a large spray over the central arch in the middle and multi color flower petals over the white white aisle runner,...it was beautiful. The wedding party carried beautiful flowers dotted with succulents and a sunflower and the centerpieces in the dining space were awesome. Out front, she transformed the otherwise plain entryway into a beautiful Autumn Entrance with mums, straw, pumpkins, props, gourds, cornstalks, etc. These are just some of the highlights - people were commenting on the bright colors and pretty arrangements. I highly recommend her and would use her again!

Marla not only provided incredible floral arrangements, bouquets, corsages, centerpieces, etc for our wedding a few weeks back, but she also saved the day by re-decorating the archway that we got married under. Unfortunately, my friends had a bit of trouble getting the arch to look like the photos my wife had provided - it would have looked more like a Halloween attraction of Spider webs rather than the elegant design we were trying for. But Marla showed up and not only took the lead in fixing it, but made it absolutely perfect, never complained about extra work, in 90 degree heat on top of it all. She was really an all-star as far as wedding vendors go - her final product is incredible and she does a tremendous job making sure everything is perfect. Would recommend to anyone getting married or needing any type of floral arrangements.

The most perfect bouquet I could ask for. My husband and I eloped and came from across the country to PA. I was reffered to the sunflower lady by the venue where our wedding was held. Without actually meeting in person and through emails and phone calls, Marla was able to make the perfect bouquet and boutonerre. I made a mistake on the time to be delivered and she actually arrived at the venue early in the morning. Instead of just leaving the flowers she returned to drop them off at the time of the ceremony. I didn't expect such great service considering it was my mistake. Also, she was very quick to reply and so friendly. Price is very reasonable and you definitely get what you pay for! Highly recommend to anyone for big and small events. If only I lived closer I would use her all the time.

Marla had great ideas, and was flexible to create something beautiful for my wedding within a budget. The flowers were delivered, and set up beautifully on the day of my wedding, with all of the little details taken care of. I would absolutely recommend "The Sunflower Lady" to anyone who wants quality floral arrangements at affordable prices.

The flowers that The Sunflower Lady did for my wedding were incredible! Everything was exactly what I wanted, even though I wasn't specific in what it was I wanted. I fully trusted her to listen to the things I liked and let her take the reins and everything was beautiful!

Although I know Marla personally, it did not prohibit her wonderful professionalism and excellent service and providing me with the most beautiful flower arrangements for my wedding. Her flowers and creativity were actually most of my Decor. They brought such a warm glow and the beautiful arrangements for the centerpieces were amazing. As well as the bouquets were so fascinating and beautiful. She truly understood my vintage desire for the wedding as well as a classy and warm feeling with the flowers. Many of my guests still to this day say how beautiful the flowers were for my wedding especially when they look at pictures.

I ended up recommending her for many of my friends and she has done their flowers as well, for my mother's second wedding, and even for other types of occasions.

She's the best!
She might call her self the sunflower lady, but I called her the flower whisperer, she is creative, humble, and with your beautiful heart she truly makes the bride's desires come to life!

Excellent bouquets, design, and experience. I loved working with Marla and would highly recommend her to anyone in need of flowers in any form. Delivery was also very much worth it as you have so much to think about on your wedding day and picking up flowers doesn't need to be part of it. I know very little about flowers, and Marla was truly our expert! She helped us articulate our vision and bring it to life for the ceremony site and reception. She did not pressure us to try to add more arrangements or fancier flowers (like some of the other florists that we met tried to do!) She helped us create a cost-friendly list of floral arrangements. She also created an amazing ceremony garland that guests raved about.

Marla was such a wonderful florist to work with. From the beginning, finding a florist that was affordable for me was difficult because I specifically wanted to use succulents throughout all of my floral designs for the wedding. I first met Marla at a bridal show and saw examples of succulents in the pictures she provided so I set up a time to have a consultation with her. When I met with Marla at her home she was so inviting - had tea and homemade baked goods for me while we chatted. She was open to all of the ideas I had and was very excited to work with me. Beyond her ability to offer what I wanted it was also her value that helped me decide to book her - due to her having her own greenhouse she was much more affordable than other florists that I spoke to. Marla even was willing to make up a few examples for me prior to the wedding to make sure it was exactly what I wanted. At that time I gave her suggestions and feedback and on the wedding day I was so impressed with everything she came up with! It was clear to me that Marla was committed to making sure the floral designs for the wedding were exactly what I envisioned. We received so many compliments of how beautiful everything was which included all the bouquets, boutonnieres, high and low centerpieces, succulents for the cake, individual succulents for each guest to have as a favor, and decoration of the ceremony space which included floral designs down the aisle and on the arbor. I would certainly recommend Marla to any bride who is looking for beautiful designs, at an affordable price, by someone who truly cares about what they do!

Absolute DREAM Come True!

Marla absolutely nailed it! I did one consultation session with her and she took those ideas and RAN with them, creating me a mood board that was EXACTLY what I had in my head. She took that and brought my ideas to life, creating the finishing touches that made my Summer Spanish/Romantic Wedding theme come to life! Our flower girls absolutely loved their crowns and I've decided to preserve my bouquet because of how absolutely in love with it I was! You can go elsewhere but if you're looking for an absolute expert florist who can take your wildest ideas and make them reality, you really don't need to look any further. Your pictures will be stunning, your event will be beautiful and you will have some of the most beautiful moments flowers can buy! We couldn't recommend Marla and the Bixler team more highly!
