I love working with Kayla and Sean at Bishop Farm. We went to tour the venue and the moment we arrived, my fiance and I felt so comfortable and carefree during our entire tour. At the end, we both left thinking we would love to be friends with Kayla and Sean after the wedding! Kayla is super responsive with her communication. She's given me advice, recommendations, and the ability to bounce ideas off of her. We've just about hit the one year mark for when our wedding will be and I've been so happy with Bishop Farm so far, I am excited for the rest of the planning up until our wedding date! I recommend Bishop Farm to friends, family, and even strangers I hear talking about rustic/barn weddings ;) -

We got married at Bishop Farm a month ago and our wedding weekend was incredible! We didn't even visit any other venues, this was the first and only because we found what we wanted as soon as we toured. We toured two years before our desired date and the weekend before and after ours were already booked! Just a heads up that two years is NOT too early to book this place and is in fact just on time in some cases (we had a fall wedding so foliage season could be why). If you are wanting to book Bishop Farm don't wait, they are in high demand! We loved Bishop Farm because it has on-site rooms and cottages for family and friends to stay right there with you and they allow you to check in as early as the Wednesday before the Saturday wedding. Why have a one day wedding that goes by way too fast when you can stretch it out over a long weekend and spend more time with your loved ones? I was having a LOT of pre-wedding anxiety the week before but as soon as I arrived there on that Wednesday it disappeared and I was able to settle in and feel like it was my home away from home for a few days before the big one. Kayla and Sean do an incredible job with the upkeep of this stunning property, from the landscaping to the interior decor - everywhere you look it is aesthetically pleasing and so homey. It was also great to be able to host our Friday night welcome party right on site there so we didn't need to go anywhere or find a different venue. The vendor list they provide is top notch. We went with all vendors recommended by them who were very familiar with the venue and had no regrets - we had a great experience with all of them! Kayla does all of the client contact and contract negotiations and I found her to be a reliable communicator via email - she always got back to me in a timely manner and answered my questions. I liked how they have you set up conference calls at regular intervals (6 months out, 30-45 days out, 2 weeks out, more if you need) so you can save up your questions and don't have to feel like you're bugging them too much. Those calls were very helpful to bounce ideas off Kayla and get your questions specific to the venue answered during your planning process. She gave us a lot of invaluable advice we may not have otherwise considered and helped explain anything we didn't understand. We really appreciated her helping us order a very specific kind of NA beer that we wanted that is seasonal and time-sensitive as for when it could be ordered. Weekend of, I was impressed and relieved by how much Kayla takes care of so you don't have to. I was a bit burned out from all the DIY I did leading up to the wedding and the decorating itself and didn't get around to setting up the s'mores bar before the welcome party. I gave Kayla the bag of s'mores stuff and we agreed on a time to put it out and she set it all up so I didn't have to worry about it. She also went above and beyond adding extra decor where it was lacking. At some point between the ceremony and reception she made a gorgeous display draping off of and in front of our sweetheart table reusing the fern garlands, pumpkins, mushroom lights, etc we had on our ceremony alter. I had considered asking my bridesmaids to move the pumpkins elsewhere but hadn't thought of a place for them / forgot but I'm so glad they ended up where they did! I know this seems like such a minor thing but I truly appreciated the attention to detail and making our table that much more special and it stands out in my mind. Sean was very welcoming to us, gave us a lot of restaurant recommendations from a local's perspective which was helpful, made campfires for us every night, brought us the aforementioned NA beers when we wanted them, and conducted a very thorough ceremony rehearsal. There were a lot of small details (how/where to stand/walk, what to do/not to do) I would not have thought of that were definitely helpful. I will say, I do wish the way they run ceremony rehearsals was better communicated beforehand. I went in assuming I was going to be running it myself as the bride and it would be a 15-20 minute who walks down the aisle when thing. It ended up going close to an hour and everyone barely had time to change and get ready for the welcome party. If I had known I would have made it earlier. Every other ceremony rehearsal I've been to has just been a quick disorganized thing so while I DO appreciate the attention to detail I think they should let you know that's how they do it so you're prepared and can plan the timing of it accordingly. I think the only other critique I have about Bishop Farm was how I felt pressured to do things a certain (traditional) way even though I knew I didn't want to do it that way. For example, I was pressured a number of times to have a first look with my dad by both Kayla (during the planning calls) and by Sean (at the ceremony rehearsal). My opinion, but I think dad first looks are cringey and my dad and I have a good relationship but are just not openly sappy / emotional people so it would have been weird. I understand that Kayla and Sean are professionals in the wedding industry and generally know the best ways to do things, but I do wish they would have respected my stance on this a little more and not have had to put my foot down more than once on not wanting to do this. It was especially awkward having to do this subtly with my dad 20 feet away at the rehearsal. Imagine if I had a strained relationship with my dad but didn't feel comfortable going into it? That would have made this even worse. Just my advice to Sean and Kayla - listen to what the couple wants and don't push too much, there's probably a good reason for any choices they make. That being said, the negative things are a small drop in the overflowing bucket of amazing things I have to say about Kayla and Sean! They are very good at what they do overall and are professional, knowledgeable, and kind hosts! I highly recommend and have zero regrets about having our wedding at Bishop Farm - it was everything we imagined and more and I'd do it all over again if I could.

Our wedding was amazing!! From the planning to the execution of the event, we couldn't of been happier. To watch your friends and family start arriving days prior, spending time with them and decorate you reception, and work with Kayla and Shawn on all the details was just amazing, friendly, and so comfortable. It seemed flawless with how professional and accommodating they were throughout every step of the day. The grounds were impeccably beautiful and so well kept. ( Not to mention, somehow the bugs weren't invited on the property!!) It was the best experience we could of asked for. The team at Bishop Farm will not let you down, we already miss them, their delicious breakfasts, and the great accommodations. We hope everyone gets to experience the beautiful property they have and their warm hearts that really care for your happiness.
Thank you Kayla & Shawn, we will always remember all you did for us, on the beginning of our forever.

My husband and I had set some criteria around what we wanted in a venue - ability to stay on site, host family & friends, beautiful venue space for reception & ceremony and outdoor space for lawn games. Bishop Farm had all of that and so much more. When we first met Kayla and Sean it felt like we had known them for years, they put us at ease and got us so excited about having our wedding there. We knew right away that this was the place. The check-in calls, online planner and Kayla's organization and support throughout the planning process was incredibly helpful. Kayla and Sean knew all of the details by the time we arrived it felt like we were there just to enjoy time with friends and family. We can't say enough positive things about our experience and if you are considering them you should do it, you will not regret choosing to book with Bishop Farm! -

I'm honestly not sure where to start with Bishop Farm, this place is magical in every regard. My wife and I got married here in late September and it could not have been more perfect.
First off, Sean and Kayla (the owners) are the absolute best. Kayla made planning so easy in the months leading up to the wedding and on actual wedding weekend, everything ran so smooth (in main part due to Sean and Kayla). They've got everything down to a T so that all you have to do is show up and celebrate! They're truly such warm, welcoming, and fun people to be around...plus Kayla makes amazing breakfast for everyone on-site each morning, who wouldn't love that :).
Next - the venue. Stunning in every regard. The farmhouse and cottages are all so unique and well kept, and it's amazing to have 30-40 of your closest family and friends with you for several days on your wedding weekend. The ceremony barn where we got married is absolutely gorgeous, and the reception barn is just as beautiful -- so much character and fit our party of 150 people comfortably with a rocking dance floor! Not to mention everything else the property has to offer - fire pits, hiking trails, stunning views, etc!
Also - Bishop Farm so conveniently located to downtown Littleton where there are great hotel options, restaurants/breweries and much more to do for your wedding guests.
If you're thinking about choosing that picture perfect barn venue - this is it! Seriously, do not look any further. We had the most incredible weekend here and hope to be back soon!
Thank you so much Kayla, Sean and the rest of the Bishop Farm staff - you guys are the best in the business and we are so grateful to have had our wedding at Bishop Farm!

Where to start. When we first walked into the barn, we instantly fell in love. Over the course of the 3 days that we were there, we we were overwhelmed with how we felt at home by the hospitality and feeling like everything we needed was taken care of. The wedding party staying all together, made the experience more like a vacation rather than what could be stressful celebration. We couldn’t of asked for a more magical venue to make our dreams dreams come true for our special day. -

There were times where I found myself with nothing to do to get ready for my own wedding as it was taken care of by all the amazing staff at Bishop Farm. Every single guest had the best to say about their experiences with Bishop Farm this weekend as well. -

Absolute perfection!
Bishop Farm is a dream come true- we will always cherish this special venue and the Salter family. From the moment we stepped foot on the property during our tour, Heather and Annie made us feel like part of their family. That coupled with the fact that the property was just breathtakingly beautiful sealed the deal for us. Our wedding weekend was perfect thanks for Heather, Annie, Maggie and Dan. They made our guests feel welcome and they kept they were there every step of the way to make sure everything about the wedding and weekend was perfect. We truly felt at home all weekend long - from the delicious homemade breakfast to the campfires at night, every moment was unforgettable. Our wedding ran so smoothly and our guests are still gushing a month later about how incredible the staff were and how gorgeous the venue was. Marc and I cannot thank you enough, Bishop Farm- you made our special day more perfect than we could have ever imagined! -

Lauren Sent on 08/23/2018The Salter family is simply amazing! So kind, sweet, friendly, and treated all of us like family. True experts at coordinating the wedding weekend at Bishop Farm, directing the vendors, and keeping to the timeline. They helped us so much to make sure everything went smoothly and we didn't have to think about anything, they were already taking care of it! We didn't feel the need (and turns out we were right) to hire a coordinator because the Salter's handle everything on the wedding weekend. They were so on top of it all. They recommended great vendors, most of the ones we booked were from their favorites. They really have thought of every detail and it is so calming! Planning our wedding was so much fun and they were available any time to answer our many questions. All of our friends & family & vendors had nothing but wonderful things to say about the Salter's and Bishop Farm. It is truly a magical place, and the website/photos do not even capture the true beauty when you see it in person. We fell in love with the ceremony barn dressed up like a church with pews and stained glass. It was just gorgeous and we dreamt about that barn door opening moment for a year before it finally happened. We loved that our family and wedding party could stay at the farm all weekend, and we all had a great time relaxing and celebrating. It was also convenient that they have a "wedding pantry" FULL to the brim of any kind of wedding/rustic decoration you could think of (jars, candle votives, all of the signs, table numbers, frames, baskets...you name it)! We didn't have to buy anything for our wedding because they had it all there to borrow. We donated our left over terra cotta pots to the pantry :) The farmhouse and cottages are adorable, and the fire pits so fun! I want to live there it's so beautiful. When the weekend ended and all our family had left, we spent another hour or so saying goodbye to Heather, Annie & Maggie and chatting...we just didn't want to leave!

Peggie Sent on 07/08/2018A Pinterest search of New England barn weddings led our daughter & son-in-law on a wedding journey they thought could only exist in their dreams. Soon after their engagement, our daughter Kim asked us to travel from Long Island, all the way to the White Mountains of NH to visit a place she fell in love with on Pinterest. We ventured through the mountains and into tiny Lisbon where we were welcomed at Bishop Farm by Heather, Annie and Maggie. It wasn’t long before we were touring the venue and feeling right at home! We were sold...on the place, & more importantly, the hosts! The rustic elegance of the ceremony and reception barns...the stained glass windows between which they would exchange vows, the expansive lawn, mini game room, featuring skee-ball & table soccer, bridal suite, cottages and quaint inn all drew us in. We knew this would be the perfect venue for Kim and Bobby's wedding. It proved to be just that!! From the moment we arrived prior to the wedding to check out, we felt like we were right at home. Heather, Annie and Maggie were accommodating, providing guidance, and orchestrating all preparations to ensure an amazing celebration before, during and after! They worked tirelessly to make sure that every detail was checked & double checked to keep us all on schedule. Event planning is in their blood! They were ALWAYS available, willing & able to meet our needs without hesitation. Even our guests got to know them as they are always visible & engaging! It was hard to believe that the venue could be more beautiful than when we toured last August...but with the addition of flowers and lighting, it was an even more magical place. The ceremony barn, filled with family and friends, an intimate space lit with late afternoon light cast the most beautiful glow on the bride & groom. The expansive lawn served to provide places to gather, play corn hole, swing, or just socialize. We & our guests will forever treasure the wedding memories we made at Bishop Farm!

Linda Sent on 06/11/2018When my engaged step-daughter first announced her plans for a "destination wedding" more than two hours from home, I was initially dismayed. Mostly because she had also asked me to do the dessert table at the reception and traveling with baked goods can be a daunting task! How glad I am now that she followed her instincts and chose the Bishop Farm!
From our arrival the day before the wedding until our departure the day after the wedding, our stay at the farm was nothing short of delightful! The grounds were beautifully maintained and the buildings were filled with incredible antique finds from across the country and displayed in a perfect 'shabby chic' way. That being said, I must emphasize that what makes this place truly amazing is the owners: Heather, Annie, Dan, their Mom, Martha and their niece, Maggie. They were unbelievable! First of all, they remembered everyone's names after only being introduced once (and we were a big wedding party). Second, they bent over backwards to make sure everyone had everything they needed to make this wedding perfect. As I mentioned previously, I was in charge of the dessert table and still had some last minute prep work to do on the day of the wedding. The kitchen area was graciously handed over to me as soon as breakfast was done and I was allowed to take over the whole space with Martha there to provide me with bowls, utensils...whatever I needed that I hadn't thought to bring from home! I ended up feeling more like family than a guest at their venue! The wedding itself was perfect and went off without a hitch, mostly because of the attention to detail that the Salter family provides. Everyone who attended was impressed with the venue and the quality of service. Some of us stayed in the rooms in the main house and I have to say it was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in away from home! A very nice breakfast was provided for us each morning and the true star of that meal is Martha's quiche...incredible!! -

Lauren Sent on 05/31/2018"Above and beyond" does not even begin to describe the Salter family and Bishop Farm. From the moment we booked the venue, they constantly reached out to ask questions, provide input, and give us any and all support we might need. This was especially helpful as my husband and I were planning from across the country; we never once felt panicked or stressed because the planning was in such good hands. They thought of everything --- details I would never have even considered --- and it truly showed. We had our dream wedding and it could not have happened without Annie, Heather, Maggie, Danny, Martha :), and all of the other team members who put it all together. Don't even get me started on the "Pinterest Barn", which has every decoration/detail you could imagine! We spent Thursday to Monday at the farm, taking a day after our wedding to relax and take in the gorgeous setting. The family even helped us coordinate transportation home, dropping us off in Littleton!
I cannot say enough about this venue, because it is so much more than a venue. It was an unbelievable experience, start to finish, and we have been reliving it ever since. I would highly recommend Bishop Farm to anyone. -

Kelly Sent on 10/25/2017I fell in love w/ this place the second I looked at it online and knew it was exactly what my husband and I were looking for. I was even more blown away when I finally got to see it in person w/ my family & husband, but what really sealed the deal was meeting the magical dream team of Heather, Annie, Mama Maggie, and of course Martha the dog. There are so many different parts to this venue that we fell in love with- the farmhouse, the cottages, the rainy day chapel, the beautiful landscape and gardens, and our favorite- the BARN! Our vision was something that had a vintage rustic charm, but not too "wood-booger" and Bishop Farm checked off every one of our boxes, and more. There are literally endless little details about the farm that add to the unique charm and beauty of it- the bathroom sinks made from original horse feeders in old horse stalls, the little balcony perch in the barn, the CHANDELIERS <3, pinterest pantry, every room in the farmhouse has it's own character, as do the cottages. You can tell how much thought, planning, and hard work went into even the smallest of details around this farm. I cannot say enough about how much my husband and I genuinely loved this place and are so happy it was where we decided to celebrate our special wedding weekend. I will also say that even over a year later, our guests have not stopped talking to us about the exquisite rustic charm and beauty of BF and how much fun they had partying it up with us! Okay- I could go on forever about how beautiful this farm is, but I would be a fool not to mention the dream team behind the venue who truly made our wedding planning experience and wedding weekend everything we could ever dream of, w/ little stress, & lots of support & guidance! Annie and Heather were my little fairy godmothers when it came to the planning process and ensuring our wedding weekend ran smoothly without a single hiccup! They helped w/ every step along the way, were super professional, and fun to work with! -

Kristen Sent on 07/10/2017Bishop Farm and the Salter family made our dream wedding come true, truly. We toured the farm in the fall of 2015 and fell in love with the farm and the Salter family. We booked our wedding for June 2017. The Salter's have put so much thought into every detail. One thing that we thought was so unique, cool and helpful was the pinterest/wedding pantry. Beneath the barn they have a space where decorations from prior weddings are stored so that incoming weddings may use it for their own. This was huge in saving not only some money but time too. Our wedding weekend was everything we dreamed of. The hospitality was fabulous and the Salter's organization for the wedding was top notch. Unlike alot of the other farms to choose from, you can have a real celebration and have the farm with your friends and family for the weekend, not just hours. We stayed from Thursday to Sunday, allowing us time to decorate in advance but more importantly enjoy a full wedding weekend with those dear to us. If you want a REAL wedding experience with your family and friends that will be unforgettable, Bishop Farm is it. Our friends and family won't stop raving about every moment and every detail. It was bitter sweet leaving at the end of the weekend as we whole heartedly feel as though we gained more family in the Salter ladies. We miss them and the whole Bishop experience immensely. It is an experience! SO much fun, tears of joy and amazing memories that we will forever cherish.

Kate Sent on 11/24/2015I was married at Bishop Farm on October 10, 2015. I honestly cant say enough about how wonderful the entire experience was. They have an amazing ability to balance professional and personal and have built up an almost perfect wedding venue using that formula. I HIGHLY suggest that any bride to be consider this for their wedding. We had about 140 people and Heather and Annie were just pros from the time we first went to visit until the last beer was served. They are always improving the space and the natural beauty of the area creates a setting unlike any other. Terms were thrown out after the wedding "best wedding I've ever been to" and "absolutely perfect" - and this is not an exaggeration. My husband and I are so grateful that not only did we pick the venue, but they kind of picked us too. They will always be very special to us for making our dream wedding a reality. -

Kelly Sent on 08/11/2015Choosing Bishop Farm to be our wedding venue was the best wedding planning decision I made! I cannot say enough positive things about my experience.
Not only was the venue absolutely gorgeous and perfect for a wedding — massive chandeliers, rustic barn, immaculate grounds, picture perfect cottages for our wedding party, and cozy rooms in the Inn for our immediate family — but Bishop Farm also has a rockstar team that makes sure your big day run smoothly. I loved working with Heather, Annie, and their mom Maggie. With the Bishop Farm team, I was able to completely relax and enjoy the whole event because I knew I was in good hands. (And that’s coming from someone who is an admitted control freak about most things.)
Heather was incredibly helpful over the 9 months I spent planning my big day. She was always responsive and happy to help answer questions. She makes sure you’ve thought of every last detail before the big day, and the occasional conference calls to check in really helps you stay on track in the planning process.
Everything was so perfect about our wedding — my husband James and could not have been more pleased. From delicious breakfasts in the Inn on Saturday and Sunday morning (homemade by Maggie!), to walking into the barn for the first time after getting married, to the after hours bonfire with our family and friends...the entire experience at Bishop Farm was epic. Highly recommend!
Now I just need to convince a friend or family member to get married there so I can go back!!
