Wonderful Wedding Experience

My husband and I wanted to elope in St. Lucia but did not know where to start. We reached out to Bill based on his reviews and sample photos, which was the best decision we could have made. Bill assisted us with the legal documents, coordinated the officiant, set up taxi services, arranged to have a boat take us to a rock in the ocean for photos and much more. He accompanied us to the lawyer and made sure everything was processed in a timely manner. Bill was very attentive and brought us to a few places for photos. We absolutely love the photographs he took during and after the wedding. Our wedding was beautiful and went as smoothly as possible, all thanks to Bill!

It was a phenomenal experience!

Bill is a great photographer, super passionate, and was driven about providing my husband and I a memorable pre-wedding and wedding day experience. We got married last June and I know that I will always remember the extra mile he took to make it a lasting moment. Make sure to book him. I heard he travels worldwide if necessary.

Excellent Professional photos

Bill did an excellent job of capturing our wedding day. The photos from before, during, and after the wedding were beautiful. Bill was able to change the photos if needed. Communication was excellent. We definitely recommend Bill Mortley Photography.

You Can't go Wrong with Bill

Bill was our choice of photographer for our wedding held on December 17th in St Lucia. He was professional, prompt, courteous, and very responsive to our needs. His quality of work, customer service, and professionalism worked very well for us. I was off the island and only saw Bill the day of the event which was held on December 17th. Highly recommended

Bill was the photographer for our wedding in St Lucia last September. Our photos are amazing and Bill made our special day, very special. He was very flexible as the date got moved 5 times due to Covid lockdown and travel restrictions. Bill was recommended to us by a friend in the UK and we weren't disappointed. Amazing Time

My wife and I used Bill for a re-do of our wedding photos during our honeymoon. We have an amazing experience! He picked us up at our hotel and we drove all over the island (he knew the best spots to shoot at different times of the day!) and ended with some “trash the dress” photos on the beach by our resort at sunset. I can’t recommend Bill enough. No one is going to know the island like him.

Amazingly Unique Photo Experience

I was planning my wedding in St. Lucia and found the resort prices for photography quite expensive for 36 pictures and a video. I started searching the internet and found Bill Mortley Photography. His professionalism is unparalleled. I highly recommend Bill Mortley Photography, especially if you are looking for a unique photography experience and affordable pricing.

When I called him, he explained in detail what I would get for my money. End Result - The quality of my pictures and video were exceptional. His prices were substantially lower than the resort prices and there was no limit on the number of pictures I would get for the price.

He took beautiful pictures before, during, and after our wedding. He took several pictures on the resort property. Then he drove us to several different locations in St. Lucia for a unique wedding photo experience. He also arranged to have the wedding live-streamed so that my family could share in the event.

We had a total of 308 photos (the resort offered 36 on resort property only.), live streaming, and a professionally finished video of our wedding. All this for less than what it would have cost if we used the resort photographer and videographer.

Professional, Punctual & Beautiful Pictures

We spent a wonderful day with Bill Mortley where he took us on a tour of the whole island while snapping some amazing shots in some of the most scenic surroundings. We received a large number of very nice images in record time. I've worked with a lot of photographers, but none as patient, professional and expeditious as Mr. Mortley. We would highly recommend his service.

Wonderful family vacation photographer!

Our family of 6 wanted some professional photos taken while we were on vacation on St. Lucia. We chose Bill Mortley based on reviews we had read. From the beginning, he was very prompt in answering my questions, very flexible to work with and took us to a great location to get great pictures. He almost felt like family during our time with him. He even answered an unrelated question I had days after our photo shoot. There were no surprises, everything was as presented to us. Bill was great to work with. I would certainly use his services again! Thank you Bill.

Availability

We reached out a few weeks before our event, which was a last minute decision to get married. Bill Mortley Photography was able to accommodate us by taking photos and being a witness for our wedding. This was a sweet gesture and very helpful. Bill Mortley is very nice and will work with all clients as good friends. I recommend his company.

Job Well DOne!

My Fiance Danielle and I exchanged marital vows in St Lucia in August this year. We found some really good reviews of Bill Mortley Photography online and we contacted him. He persuaded us to allow his company arrange the wedding for us and we found them to be very capable. The wedding was held on a beach just after the Village of Anse la Raye, with a Mangrove next to it which was perfect for our formal photographs. His assistant and planner Marilyn and her helpers did a good job making all the preparations from getting us with the Lawyer for our license to the decoration on the sand. I have no choice but to recommend them highly.

Probably the very best decision I made for my wedding was to hire Bill Mortley to cover the event. He is the consummate professional. This guy really cares about what he is doing and it shows. I have no difficulty at all recommending him as I know he will give of his best on every occasion.

Beautiful Wedding Photos

Hiring Bill for our wedding photos was the best decision we made on our big day! I cannot express enough how satisfied we are with our wedding pictures. He was able to capture such special and candid moments that we will always be able to look back at, and relive those memories.
He took our ceremony pictures on the beach and then took us to a beautiful off site location for more pictures the next day. The pictures were all ready to view the very next day and he took close to 400 images!
Bill made the whole experience so wonderful, and has such a love for what he does. He is very professional, and will go out of his way to make sure you are satisfied with his work.
We are forever grateful for the quality of his work, his time, and helping make our trip to St. Lucia so magical. Thank you Bill!!! :) :) :)

Engagement Photos

I hired Bill to take surprise engagement photos for myself and girlfriend (now fiance) while on vacation in St. Lucia. I reached out to Bill less than a week before our trip and he promptly responded, confirmed the date and time, and offered to pick us up from our resort. He drove us to a nearby beach and shot before and after pictures for us. All the pictures turned out fantastic and Bill emailed them to us the next morning following the engagement the prior evening. Bill was very reasonably priced and went above my expectations to ensure everything went great. I highly recommend Bill to anyone looking for engagement photos!

Outstanding Photography Service

Bill recommended a wedding Coordinator named Marilyn who organized our wedding for us.Wedding Wire recommeded him highly so we took the plunge and booked him. His prices are very reasonable and he delivers! Bill does all he can for you. He never gets tired and comes up with some delightful poses and locations. Suzie and I enjoyed everything he did for us. Satisfaction Guaranteed!

We had our wedding on the beach in Marigot Bay in April this year and hired Bill Mortley to be our photographer. We got some beautiful photos taken but also developed a friendship with Bill. He was so nice to us. Drove us all over the island to places we would never have gotten to see and experience. Bill is a really good and experienced wedding photographer, and also a very patriotic St Lucian. You get to learn quite a bit about the island as he works with you. We can recommend him to any couple getting married in St Lucia.

We had the pleasure of working with Bill during our trip to St. Lucia. We had hired him to take pictures of us and document our vows/wedding. He was very accommodating and punctual. Our original plan was to spend the day going to different locations and taking photos. He arrived well before our agreed time which was great. We spent the morning going to a few locations. Bill really knows the area and we got some great shots without having to deal with a bunch of tourists. The sky was somewhat overcast, but hey, what can you do about that? Well, Bill offered to come back a 2nd day to take more shots with better weather. He didn't ask for any extra money. He basically said, "I want you guys to have really nice pictures."

Two days later we were out again with Bill and he took us to a secluded beach, waterfall, local town, and a private house with an amazing view. This was way above and beyond what we would expect from a photographer hired for a day.

My wife and I can't give a high enough recommendation. A 5-star rating does not do Bill justice as offering to take photos for a 2nd day is simply amazing. He is very talented and you won't be disappointed.

Our kids surprised us with a photo session with Bill while on vacation in Marigot Bay. Bill was on time, so professional, creative with his photo options. We were trying to get sunset pictures. Bill knew how to time the shots so we got the best photos in the best light and the pictures came out amazing! So amazing we can't decide which ones to frame! He was excellent and a delight to work with too!

I found Bill on my searches online. I liked how good he was at communicating and arranging to take photos for us on our tenth anniversary trip in St Lucia. He is very knowledgeable and such good company.

Bill arrived on time at our hotel and we liked him instantly. He is east talk to and did a fantastic job telling us about St Lucia and showing us around whilst we took photos. We appreciated the time we spent with him whilst in St Lucia.

My husband hates taking photos usually, but with Bill, he was the perfect model! He enjoyed Bills company and both felt very relaxed. Bill took photos of us on two occasions. We have such beautiful shots, with good memories to last a lifetime. Good value for money, a great photographer with many years of experience, who knows St Lucia very well.

You will not be disappointed with Bill. Thank you for a great time overall. Our photos are stunning and everyone who has seen says we look like models!!

21 years ago Bill was our choice of photographer for our wedding which was held on July 7 1996. He was professional, prompt, courteous and very responsive to our needs. 21 years later when I needed a photographer on whose standard and quality of work I could depend on, I went back to Bill. His quality of work, customer service and professionalism has not deteriorated over the years. I was out of the island and only saw Bill the day of the event which was held on August 13, 2017. Words can't express how happy we chose Bill Mortley Photography for our wedding pictures. The pictures he took of our wedding are truly amazing. Bill processed our pictures the same day and created a wedding album. I was not expecting a wedding album which made me cry even more when I saw it. I never met Bill Mortley until days before my wedding and was a bit nervous about taking that risk. However, Bill Mortley is the photographer you want for your wedding, family event, to capture the best moments of your life. Bill was an amazing photographer for our destination wedding. Even though we did not meet him before the day of the ceremony, it was completely stress-free. He was accommodating to the travel between our villa and the estate the men were getting ready at. He brought great ideas in terms of shots for posing both before and after the ceremony. The shots he took were phenomenal, i couldn't ask for anything more. Thanks for everything Bill, it was truly a pleasure!

On our wedding day, Bill showed up about 2 hours early and got to work photographing the “details”. He was very pleasant to work with and he worked incredibly hard! I wanted many photos around the resort property and Bill did what he could to accommodate every request I made. He is a true professional and great at what he does!! Many of our guests were blown away with his work and even commented that they have never seen a photographer work so hard!!

Two days after our wedding we were to make a selection of the images so that he could design an album for us. The pictures were simply beautiful. He captured some really good expressions and exceeded our expectations. They turned out fantastic!! There are so many wonderful shots, it was difficult to choose which ones were my favorite!! I would recommend them to anyone looking for a photographer in St Lucia!!

I contracted Bill Mortley as my wedding photographer for my May 2016 wedding in St Lucia. My wedding photos turned out absolutely beautiful. My friends and family members cannot stop raving about how gorgeous they are. Bill was prompt and easy to communicate with via email and WhatsApp prior to the wedding. He was reliable and extremely professional and very helpful on the day. He had the photos ready within the agreed timeline laid out in our contract. Most notably, however, is how talented he is. Bill Mortley Photography…all pros, no cons. My husband and I got married at Sandals Grande, St Lucia in February 2017 and I truly can’t say enough good things about our experience with Bill Mortley. First Bill is not allowed to shoot the ceremonies at Sandals, but we hired him to take us around the island to shoot our formals which turned out to be a great idea. He was so accommodating and easy to work with and it all worked out perfectly. I was very impressed by his professionalism and attention to detail. He did an outstanding job with our wedding photography and we are both still in “awe” of just how great all our photos turned out. He was personable, fun, and very professional to work with. We also were very pleased with the photography package we purchased and loved receiving the album he designed for us. My wife and I researched and contacted multiple photographers in St Lucia. However after reading reviews and looking at Bill’s work we decided to go with him and can't be any happier. So easy to work with, so professional and the end result - stunning pictures! First of all, great communication start to end. We asked Bill about the time of the ceremony and he suggested a time frame that would be the ideal for light for our location at the Resort. Despite our smaller wedding party, he arrived with lots of equipment. We felt we were in good hands right then. Throughout the ceremony he remained in the background squeezing off shots so as not to intrude in the sanctity of the proceedings. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the person Bill Mortley! He was such an amazing person and photographer that I am not embarrassed to keep shouting his praises here! He was truly amazing! I booked him before I was ever aware that the resort had a policy of no outside photographers. He accepts the bookings because the weddings are held on the beach which does not belong to the Resort so while they may not be pleased that they are losing revenue, they really cannot stop him from shooting the ceremony. I almost panicked when it became clear to me that he would not be allowed on the premises. When I found out about it he calmed me down from a small meltdown. He offered to do whatever he could to help and even offered to refund me the deposit to avoid conflict. I am so glad that I stuck with him. He was incredibly professional, flexible, economical accommodating and the quality of his pictures were amazing! We shot the ceremony on the beach and drove us to Pigeon Point to shoot the formals. We stopped all along the way at some beautiful site or another to take pics. Well little did I know there was a photography fee to be paid at Pigeon Point but Bill paid for it because he thought we had been through so much already. The next day he picked us up and not only gave us a tour of the island he took more amazing pictures as well as did a free trash the dress shoot! Two days later he brought us a slideshow of all the images as well as a DVD of over 500 images. He would not take any money from us because he claimed that we had been through so much. He then took us around St. Lucia again and showed us more amazing places. He was the nicest, most friendly, amazing person I have had the pleasure of meeting. Beyond that the quality of his work was insanely good! I would highly recommend any St. Lucian bride to seriously consider using Bill Mortley for their wedding or honeymoon.

Bill is the best photographer. My photos were amazing. My husband and I are very happy with everything. Our wedding guest commented on how professional he was. Beach shots was good even if there was not a sunset due to the rain but the reflection of us in the water puddle is incredible. He has an eye for detail. Would like to say the biggest thank you.

Bill did an excellent job! Rates were within our budget. Even with an injury he managed to capture our special moments. He picked us up at our hotel and spent almost two hours doing the shoot. He even took us to Anse La Raye two days after and captured some unique shots. And the day after that as well at Jade's. Awesome Photographer, Awesome Photography. Thank you Bill :)

Bill worked with us despite our non traditional style. This wedding was "planned and coordinated" by my husband who is a native of St Lucia. I am American and I let him take care of all the details except our attire and the photographer. We looked great and the photographers were phenomenal. My husband, Marcus and I visited St. Lucia for our honeymoon. We wanted to take professional photos in my reception dress. We luckily found Bill Mortley. He took us to some of the most beautiful locations on the island. We had photographs from a mansion, on the beach, and even in a waterfall! He was courteous, professional, and most importantly, extremely talented. These photographs were just as beautiful if not more beautiful than our actual wedding photography. You will not find a more talented and creative photographer on the island. He's well connected and got us access to locations that others will only dream of being able to go. The pictures of our wedding were fantastic. Bill picked many locations at the resort where we were staying to get a variety of photos. All of them turned out great. We couldn't be more pleased. In fact, one of my co-workers who does photography as a side business commented on how hard it is to get the light/flash correct with the sunset as the background. Bill nailed all of those shots. On the business side, we had actually booked a limited photography package through the resort where we were married, which arranged for Bill Mortley to photograph our wedding. Bill took may more photos than we expected and offered to give us the raw images for a very reasonable additional fee. We thought that was fantastic because photographers here in the US always retain ownership and charge for every print, album, etc. Now we have control over prints and can have anyone make an album.

I found this wonderful photographer by performing an internet search for destination wedding photographers, and I am so glad it did! He was always very responsive to my emails and made me feel at ease about a destination wedding. He was even willing to travel from St. Lucia to Dominica to take our photos. We are so glad to have chose Bill to take our wedding photos when we visited St. Lucia. He was kind and flexible as took us off the resort for photos in various locations around Castries and even on the top of the Pitons!!! His prices were very reasonable and we saved a lot from choosing him over the resort photographers. Bill Mortley Photography was great. We got everything one could want from a photographer and best of all great photos that we will cherish for years to come. As soon as I contacted bill, we built a rapport amongst ourselves and I knew from then on, he was going to be the one to capture my special moments.

During the preparation he kept in touch with me and also gave me tips for my big day.

The big question was then asked, how much it would cost to shoot my wedding. This man is exceptional. He only charged me US$1200. I could believe it as it matched my budget and was much less than I expected.

I made the first payment so I could secure the booking.

Bill and I travelled to Dominica via the Ferry. We met for the first time on the boat. He recognized me immediately upon seeing me and began shooting from there to make my big day a reality.

I could not find any fault in Bill. He lived up to my expectations and that of my husband. Bill made sure that he took pics that to this day conjures up fond memories of my experience. I sometimes wish I could do it all over again.

I appeal to anyone who is looking for the best qualified photographer to look no further but to contact Bill Mortley photography. He has questions to all your answers. He also listen to your wishes and execute them better than you would expect.

With over 30 years experience working for him, you can't go wrong. If I had to do it all over again or for any big occasion, Bill would definitely be person I would select. Bill photographed my wife and I on our honeymoon in St Lucia. From the outset he made us feel very relaxed and we soon became comfortable in front of his camera. Bill Mortley’s work is phenomenal and Simply Genius! I have hired him to do some meeting and 1st time wedding shots (Wedding Couple on Parasail) and he went above and beyond anything I could have expected, under promising and over delivering! Bill Mortley called the day before shoots when he had a clearing in his schedule to come to the discuss and rehearsal some shots. This was not in the contract. The day of the events, Bill and his assistant showed up early with mentionable patience. With a conference of 700 members there were many opportunities for frustration. Mortley has an incredible way with people and somehow managed to get everyone to cooperate throughout the day. Did I mention he stayed longer than he was contracted to? I expected to wait weeks for the final discs to be delivered. The only problem was going through quite literally thousands of pictures! They were all so wonderful it was nearly impossible to choose which ones to have printed for media relations. If you are looking for a photographer who understands just how important your “Special Day and Events” truly are, and someone who’s work will speak for itself, I highly recommend Bill Mortley Photography. Bill is very patient and goes out of his way to set up the perfect shot. He puts you at ease, and offers suggestions on how to come away with an album that you will be forever happy to see for decades.

We have not regretted one bit since we've used Bill Mortleys services since 2 years ago. The photo are still nice and clear like they were done yesterday. Bill was very efficient and easy to work with. Even for our pre wedding photo shot he was very flexible with time. I had friends who used him in the past and my day came and is still satisfied. He also shot my sister's wedding in Barbados and did an awesome job. I will continue to spread the word like wild fire that Bill is the greatest. Now that the wedding cake has been eaten and gone, the dress is hanging in the closet, every one is now on their own business...I still have my memory of photos which would remind me of this day always and forever. Wow! Words cannot express how amazing Bill Mortley is! From the moment we met him we knew he would be our photographer. His imagination and creativity is amazing! He is the best photographer I have ever met. I am so grateful for meeting him. Our engagement pictures are phenomenal. We chose very unusual locations for our pictures, but Bill made them look so amazing! Everyone that has seen the pictures swear that they are part of a magazine spread. A wedding is very special. Hiring Bill Mortley was probably the best decision Larry and I made for our wedding. As a result, we have pictures that we will cherish for as long as we live. Our memories were documented perfectly. I was totally pleased with the professional service that I received from Bill Mortley. I have been to wedding and seen the work of other Photographers but none can compare to the quality that I got. We got married in 2007 at a hotel in St Lucia. The hotel photographer was awful and I'm so glad Bill was there! From the first meeting at the hotel room for some solo pictures, I felt so comfortable with him. Bill has this wonderful personality that makes it easy to connect with. We had so much fun taking pictures. He took many candid ones as well as the traditional ones. A traditional picture is on the beach during the sunset. It took us 3 nights to get the perfect sunset because it rained on our wedding day and the sand was all wet that night. One of my favourite pictures was taken while we were huddled in a gazebo during the downpour. Bill made the most of the rain and kept taking pictures. We were also having so much fun chatting I dont think he took too many. He also made us a DVD and we had low expectations. Boy, were we surprised! It was fantastic.

It's 2015 and Bill and I are still in touch. You can't say that about many photographers!!

We got married in 2007 at a hotel in St. Lucia. Bill was MUCH better then the hotel photographer. I knew right away that he truly loved what he was doing. (Unlike the hotel photographer. She was a grump and took horrible pictures. ) He has such a wonderful personality that you feel so comfortable with him. He took lots of candid photos as well as the traditional pictures. It took us 3 nights to get the perfect sunset on the beach photo. At one point during pictures it rained really hard and we huddled in a gazebo. One of my favorite pictures was a candid shot he took while the rain just poured. He made a dvd as well and we didn't have high expectations. We were so pleasantly surprised! It was very well done and professional. It was absolutely wonderful experience with Bill. It's 2015 and we still keep in touch! You can't say that about too many photographers.

It was a pleasure working with Bill. I was really happy about the fact that he was willing to travel to shoot our wedding. Overall it was a good idea to have had him and I never regret my decision to. He was on time and the service was great. My only issue was not having enough time to take more pictures. When I was planning for my Wedding in St. Lucia I wanted to record one of the most important events of my Life. My Wife means the world to me and I wanted to find someone with the professional experience and knowhow to record the images so I can share and cherish them with my close friends and family. I was made aware of Mr. Bill Motley from a friend and when I looked onto his web site I got the distinct impression that Bill was passionate about photography! Being somewhat of a ‘photobug’ myself, I wanted to make sure that the person I hire will be reliable and able deliver the quality that I expect for a Professional Photographer. Let first say that Bill delivered results far beyond my expectations!

Bill has many years of Professional experience and it clearly showed in his work. When I first spoke with him he was easy to communicate with and paid close attention to the type and style of photographs I was seeking.

On my Wedding Day, Bill arrived early and took the most wonderful pictures of my Wife as she prepared for the Wedding Ceremony. He also was extremely courteous and was not ‘overbearing’ when he was taking photographs during the Wedding Ceremony. Immediately after the Wedding Ceremony Bill took us to a choice location that was breathtaking where took some of the Best Wedding pictures that I have ever seen!

I truly wish to thank him for the wonderful work he did for my Wife and I. The pictures were outstanding! Bill added his creative flare and it clearly showed in the results. I know that Bill is a First Rate Photographer and anyone who hires him will be thoroughly satisficed with the work he performs. I have his pictures framed on my walls!

I also know that Bill does more Professional work then just Weddings and would be a tremendous leader in any photographic assignment.

When I think of Bill Mortley photography, the only word that comes to mind is "perfect". The perfect shot taken with perfect timing. His photography is unique and his ideas for my wedding shoot, simply exotic! The river expedition turned out superb shots and lifetime memories. I would prolly get married again just to have him do my photography again...haha!
