OMG from One DJ to Another!! Fantastic job!!!

Oh. Em. Geeeeeeeee!!! Donny did our wedding recently and it was a dream come true! Usually, my new husband and I would DJ other weddings and events, but Donny made sure it was up to our standards and more!! He even surprised us with a special phone-guestbook. Best DJ with incredible planning skills!

Donny was an incredible addition to our vendor team and made our big day run SO smoothly! He kept everyone engaged the entire night and knew exactly how to read the crowd to select the perfect music! Every single event of the day was never late or missed because Donny kept it all right on track. He was so incredible during the planning process. The app he has created was integral in our planning and allowed us to put songs in there as we thought of them, as well as songs we did not want to play, and he had several questionnaires for us to answer to get to know us better. We had several zoom meetings to plan and go over any last minute additions/changes and Donny even offered to be there at our rehearsal to get the timing of our songs down pat! He was wonderful to work with and we would HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend him.

Donny is the best DJ

We hired Big Time Events off of a recommendation by our wedding venue. I’m so glad we did. I would rate Donny more than 5 stars if that were an option. He’s so wonderful to work with. He made everything easy. I never had any worries because he does check ins to make sure you’re always informed. He’s very responsive to any questions or concerns. He also has a very user friendly website. And last but not least., he actually took time out of his day ( a week after our wedding) to drop an earring off that was lost at our wedding. Now our guest will have her pair of earrings that were a gift from her sister that held sentimental value to her. Good ahead and hire Donny!!!

There is no better choice!

When we decided on Donny as our wedding DJ I believe that we selected the best vendor available for the job. Donny was incredibly professional and always readily available by phone, text, and/or email. He did a phenomenal job at our wedding. I've never seen so many people consistently on the dance floor! He kept everyone from kids to adults engaged throughout the entire reception. I cannot recommend Donny enough, you cannot go wrong by booking an event with him! Thank you so much for making our wedding such a hit Donny, it wouldn't have been the same without you!

DJ Donny was Amazing

Donny was 5 stars all around. He was by far the easiest to communicate with. From his app to calls the morning of Donny with change of plans he was on it. His communication is wonderful and extremely attentive.

He helped get the wedding going. He was several hours early to set up, to finalize, and to get everyone’s attention as the ceremony started. He was amazing in every way! Thank you Donny!

The DJ you want at your wedding!

Donny was 5 stars all around. One of the easiest vendors to work with! His communication is wonderful and timely. He truly makes you feel one of a kind on your wedding day. He did so great with our guests- we were nervous about song selections and having to pick everything out, but Donny’s music playlist is wonderful on its own!

What an incredible experience !!

I cannot say enough amazing things about Donny! From the beginning, he was VERY responsive! Talked via email but that was just fine because he responded back very quickly! His price included being there at the rehearsal which I ABSOLUTELY loved!!! He was talking to my day of coordinator and followed us while we rehearsed to make sure he got all the music at the right points so come time for the ceremony, everything was flawless! He did everything exactly as I wanted! He arrived at 1:30 for my 4:30 ceremony to set up and make sure everything was set up perfectly on time to start his music at 4! The reception was perfect as well. He announced all of us PERFECTLY and with enthusiasm and the entrance for bride and groom was even better!! Donny gets 10 stars in my book! And for as cheap as he is , he is the WHOLE wedding package!!!!!

Unbelievably perfect

I can not describe how pleased we were with donnie. He made our big day so special. Music is a huge part of our hispanic culture and we had such a good variety.
All of the special songs were perfectly timed. He was prompt, organized and a great Emcee. Our guest were in tears from the songs perfectly timed when i came down the aisle.Donnie thank you so much. You made our day so so special.

Outstanding DJ

Wedding Reception

Donny goes above and beyond! Not only did he provide a wonderful selection of music for the reception, he jumped in and saved the day when our violinist went to the wrong town and wasn’t able to make it to the wedding. The violinist was the only music for the ceremony. Donny took care of it without a hitch. We are forever grateful him and his professionalism.

Reads the crowd and takes all stress off of you!

Donny was great. My now husband is a music junkie and we originally thought he would make a playlist. As he started making it, he soon realized that some of his beloved oldies weren't exactly songs that would bring people onto the dance floor. Donny responded to my message almost instantly and immediately understood. He had a groom in the same situation but that groom didn't realize it until there was literally no one on the dance floor. Donny had to get the party back on track on the fly and that's when I knew he was for us. He played my grooms beloved oldies at the appropriate times and mixed it awesome crowd pleasers too. The dance floor stayed full and he kept the whole night on track. Would definitely recommend.

Exactly What We Wanted

Donny was personable, helpful, and professional from the very beginning. He took our crazy song requests and made them into the perfect wedding playlist. Even though I got married on a Sunday morning, there were just as many people on the dance floor as a Saturday night. He did a great job keeping everything on track, and the announcements were done without a hitch. Amazing service, and really great price. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing wedding reception!

I don't know where to begin! Donny helped make our wedding the most amazing day of our lives. Not only did he do an amazing job as the DJ at the reception, he provided the ceremony music as well and helped me set out a timeline for the wedding. I planned my wedding on my own and he was a huge help because I had no idea what I was doing. I would recommend him in a heartbeat to anyone who needs entertainment for any occasion.

Mr. Collins is absolutely great! He's so much fun and he absolute did everything we needed for our special ceremony AND he came to our wedding rehearsal just to take notes on how the day would run, where he could set up, and music entrances. If I have any other event where I need a DJ, he will be my first call. Whatever event you may have, he's sure enough to make it seem BIG TIME!

Donny was very interested in exactly what I wanted. He was very patient and went with the flow of things. I didn't know the recession song and trusted him to pick it out and he did great!

Donny Collins was a pleasure to work with, and I feel that he went above and beyond to help us coordinate music for both our wedding ceremony and our reception. If I ever needed a DJ or musician again, I would not hesitate to ask him to do the job.

Donny was a great help when my husband and I had trouble deciding what music to play at our wedding/reception. He was flexible with our schedules when we wanted to meet with him. But most of all, he did a GREAT job of keeping the mood up during the reception! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Big Time Events to anyone in need of a talented, fun, reasonably priced DJ :)

Donnie did the music both for the Catholic wedding Service and reception for my son/daughter in laws wedding. He was wonderful, talented and great to work with. He sings solo and with his sister and can make his Keyboard sound like an entire band. Parts of the wedding reception was DJ style and he keep all the guests dancing and happy. I give Donnie Collins my highest recomendation!

Donny provided the best entertainment that was enjoyed by all of our guests from the youngest to the oldest. The music for our wedding/reception was perfect. You can not find a more professional and fun DJ as Donny. We are so blessed to have had Donny and Big Time Events as our DJ. I highly recommend Big Time Events to others and will use them again.

My husband and I got married on New Years Eve 2013 in Statesboro, GA and we loved working with Donny and Big Time Events. I can't say enough wonderful things about Donny and Big Time Events! He was prepared, on-time, and easy to work with. Donny actually sang and played the piano for us at our wedding, and was also our DJ at the reception. The wedding music was absolutely beautiful! I cried! Then when we arrived at the reception, Donny found us and asked us how we wanted to be announced with our wedding party. He announced all of us, all of our special dances, and would come and find us before we did things like the cake cutting, garter toss, etc. so he could direct everyone's attention to what we were doing. That way no one would miss out on what was happening. Donny even was flexible with our New Years Eve countdown, which we had to do an hour early because people were leaving. He was wonderful and the music was great! If we have an anniversary party in the future, I would definitely hire him again! I would recommend him for any party/event/wedding! You won't be dissappointed!

Donny was very friendly, extremely professional, and easy to work with. He made our wedding reception even more wonderful and accommodated every request of ours, song choice and otherwise. There was a good balance of music selection for the earlier part of the evening focused on the ceremonial dances, etc, followed by the livelier end to the evening, where Donny'a selections ensured the dance floor was full for the final two hours.
We highly recommend his services.
