Music is a very important part of our lives therefore we wanted that to translate into our wedding. Music makes the moments so special, romantic, meaningful, and memorable. Nick was the PERFECT DJ for that job!!! Right away I could tell he took the burden of music on our wedding seriously and wanted to do his best for us. Nick was attentive to requests and even offered playlist suggestions to us. I had specific times I wanted certain songs stopped at and he easily obliged. Our wedding was a Christian wedding therefore we didn't want any offensive songs, he kindly listened and understood. Nick's passion for his work translated into hard work the day of! Our guest loved him and he was always perfect with the timing of music! Our favorite moments were:
He organized our private last dance as husband and wife without any prying eyes, it was so romantic and perfect!
Our exit song was "Ordinary" by Alex Warren and there was a very specific part in the song we wanted to walk out with sparklers. Nick accomplished that splendidly!
Every song he played was perfect, meaningful, and romantic! Thank you Nick for all your hard work and making our night the best night ever!!! -

The absolute best!
Nick was an absolute joy to work with. His execution on the day of our wedding was phenomenal. He was such a pleasure to work with and I gave him free range on the music and I was told (and still am) how much fun our reception was, his song choices were perfect and he was so fun. I can’t recommend Big Mountain Dj’s enough! -

We hired Nick for our wedding in Glacier Park and all I can say is wow! He was so professional throughout the entire planning process and everything on our wedding day went flawlessly. My guests danced all night and still tell me he is the best wedding DJ they've ever seen. Thank you Nick!!! -

Nick was kind enough to work out a custom DJ/Photo booth package for our wedding his service went above and beyond our expectations. Nick was extremely responsive and detail oriented during the planning process and was an outstanding addition to our wedding. I had so much fun dancing the night away to the custom playlist he made for us and our guests loved the photobooth! The two Photo Booth attendants were also great. I would absolutely hire Nick again or recommend him to a friend. -

Nick completely removed the stress of the music/sound at our wedding. He was very accommodating and let us be as involved as we wanted. When we ran out of time to fine-tune our playlists and first dance songs he took over and pulled it off perfectly. Once the wedding started I never had to worry about the sound or music again, it was great. He made our night incredibly special. 10/10 would recommend 👍🏻 -

Nick is a class act. He is so kind, professional, and willing to work with whatever style or vision you have for your big day. Nick went through a lot of rounds of playlist crafting with us, only to pivot direction day of on our request. And he did it all with a smile and kept us dancing all night. He even surprised us with a couple special recordings after our wedding! Cant recommend enough. -

I am so happy that I found Nick to DJ my sons wedding. Throughout the year prior to the big day, Nick was extremely helpful with not only our music, but also helping us figure out the many details with our scheduling.
We tasked him with quite a unique list of music expectations from traditional Mexican , Oldies & 80’s, HipHop to Rock N Roll ( and everything in between)!
I had guests both young & old tell us it was the funnest wedding they ever went to & I’ve got to give Nick credit for a big part of that since he kept the party on the dance floor going until the last minute of the evening.
Thank you so much , Nick, for being an important part of Christopher & Maria’s wedding day & providing us with exceptional service all along the way.

A friend of my(bride) sister recommended Nick to us because he likes “our” music. As soon as we spoke on the phone we knew he was the dj for us! He was very professional but extremely easy to talk to. He helped us with our timeline for the day of, had recommendations for all of the “special” songs, and most importantly BLEW OUR MINDS at the reception. We had spent time explaining our hopes and he surpassed them by miles, we had guest after guest telling us this was the most fun they’ve ever had dancing at a wedding. Our day would not have been near as perfect without Nick! -

Nick and his crew at Big Mountain DJs are top tier wedding vendors to have in Montana!! They were DJs for our wedding and we also got to use their new photobooth service and I am so glad we booked them for both! It is very obvious that he knows what he's doing and was SO personable to the both of us and kept the energy at our wedding positive and fun for our guests! Having the photobooth at our wedding was so much fun for our guests and we loved having the photos to put into our wedding book. I would book them again a million times over. Thank you Nick for becoming a great friend to us and for keeping the whole process surrounding our wedding so low stress. Best DJ service in Montana!!!! -

I need to tell the world about the best DJ experience I've ever had. Nick from Big Mountain DJ's was extremely communicative with my wife and I before the wedding to make sure everything would be perfect. We did not give him much to work with in terms of a request list, but he rocked it. He asked us if we thought we'd have the majority of guests dancing or just a small number, we guessed somewhere around 50/50, well boy we were wrong -- due to Nick's epic playlist and vibe about 90% of our guests were dancing all night! When he arrived he set up a wireless speaker and mic for the ceremony site in addition to his main equipment at the reception site. He was also great as the master of ceremony on the microphone when we needed him to make announcements or to call out what was happening.
What is most important and what I want to call out, is how he was extremely professional, yet felt like a long time friend throughout the whole process. He is excellent at reading a crowd, and very professional when dealing with requests, and was able to keep everyone happy and on the dance floor all night. My wife and I, in addition to some of our friends that were in attendance, have been to other weddings since and the dance floors just don't compare. I would recommend Big Mountain DJ's to anyone that is looking for an amazing party for their reception! -

Nick was great to work with and definitely killed it at our wedding. He made the process easy and fun and we were able to customize/request things the way we wanted them to be as well as let him use his own DJ expertise, which was great. We had so many people tell us it was one of the best weddings they had been too and Nick was a big part of the reason why it was so much fun. He had everyone on the dance floor having a great time and nobody wanted to leave (including him lol!). He created an awesome atmosphere and it was everything we hoped for and more. He's also just a super down to earth, all-around great guy. I highly recommend Nick and his services to anyone looking for a great DJ experience and would use him again in a heartbeat. -

Nick is amazing, my husband and I fought between having a band and a DJ.. I won with booking Nick as our DJ and my husband ended up being very impressed with Nick's work. Everyone commented on how much fun he was and how much energy he brought to the day. We had so much fun and so did all of my guests. Nick was always so responsive and kind, he cared about my big day and that meant so much. I really appreciated the last meeting where we made sure we were on the same page about all the songs and who was dancing to what as well as capturing what I had envisioned. Nick also was super easy going, I was suppose to have a father daughter dance with my step dad and he ended up canceling it and all I had to do was give Nick a look and he just kept the party going so it wasn't an awkward pause. You made our day more special than we could have ever imagined. Thank you so much Nick! -

Hiring Nick, was hands down, the best decision we made for our wedding. Nick was extremely professional from the start. Every phone call we had with him was organized, informative, and didn't take much time (which is important when you have phone calls with so many vendors leading up to the wedding). When we first talked to Nick he asked if we thought our guests were big dancers and we said maybe half of them would be on the dance floor throughout the night. Our dance floor was full. ALL NIGHT. From the kids to the grandparents, no one was sitting down. Everyone at our wedding raved about our DJ and how much fun they had. He played music for everyone there, and was given very little direction from us. He read the dance floor so easily. My husband and I joke that we barely had time to grab a drink at our wedding because there was never a time we wanted to leave the dance floor. Can't recommend Nick enough, he's the best in the business! -

Nick was absolutely phenomenal every step of the way! He was our most responsive vendor through the whole wedding planning process and executed our vision of our reception perfectly. Our guests never left the dance floor from the moment it opened and the party didn’t stop until the venue literally closed down! Nick played our requests, guest requests, and made note of our do-not-play and got the overall vibe we were going for. We have had so many people tell us our DJ was the best of any wedding they’ve been to and we would recommend him 100x over.

My family and I loved working with Nick. He was incredibly responsive, kind, professional, and was super flexible and understanding with last minute schedule changes. On the wedding day he arrived hours early to set up and ensure he was there to start playing music for the cocktail hour and reception. He even visited two days before to make sure he could set up his equipment properly, and helped us solve issues from another vendor. Our guests all commented on how fun the music was, and Nick used our playlist suggestions. He allows you to really have control on the type of music you want for your big day, while also taking suggestions from your guests so they can have some fun. We highly recommend Nick for any wedding or event! -

Nick was the absolute best! He was the first vendor we hired, I also work in the wedding industry and have worked along side him multiple times seeing how he keeps the dance floor packed so it was no contest to ask anyone else for our big day. Leading up to the wedding, Nick always made himself available for any questions and understood that we didn't want a "cookie cutter" playlist and he flawlessly which represented our and guests taste. For months after the wedding people still rave about the music and if you hire Nick you are in the best hands! -

Even prior to the event, I knew he was going to be great. He has great communication and the client portal made it so easy to recommend songs, keep track of our invoices, etc. On the day of our wedding, Nick hardly needed anything from us. Big Mountain DJ & Nick provided Top notch service. Nick came through in a pinch last minute & saved our “destination” wedding in Montana when our DJ cancelled on us.
He was professional & very kind and went above & beyond to make our evening perfect.
Couldn’t have asked for a better DJ he really was awesome & the day was magical.

These days, anyone with a speaker and an auxiliary cord can be a DJ. At a wedding, however, you need a master of ceremonies—someone who can read the room and create the atmosphere you want, who can comfortably make announcements, and who you can rely on to keep the ceremony and reception running smoothly. Look to no other than Nick. He was responsive and reliable, and was a big reason why my special day went off without a hitch. -

What can I say, Nick made our wedding a complete joy, from the ceremony to the reception! The initial steps of signing contracts was a piece of cake and he was 100% open to every single request I wanted. I was able to give him my processional songs and he edited them to make the song exactly how I envisioned. A great bonus was being able to put all my guest's song requests on a Spotify playlist and send it to him. Having a wedding DJ that is able to "read the dance floor" is absolutely priceless and I will most definitely be recommending Big Mountain DJ to all my friends for their weddings. 10 STARS! My wife and I had the pleasure of having Nick Ferrington DJ our wedding in October. We couldn't have been happier with our choice! Nick was very easy to work with throughout the process leading up to the wedding. He included all of our song requests throughout the cocktail hour, dinner, and reception. He also made sure to avoid anything on our do not play list. He was soooo good at our reception. Many of our guests have raved about his song selection and transitions from one song to another. The music was a hit and the dance floor never slowed down! We would recommend Nick to anyone who is looking for a DJ for an event. -

We used Nick to DJ our wedding. He was a large piece in why I wish I could repeat that night over and over again! He listened very well to the types of music we wanted and didn’t want.
