I initially found BDLB though wedding wire and the name alone drew me in, because...dogs amIright? I'm so happy the dog lover in me stumbled upon this gem of a videographer. Janice is amazinggg! And so incredibly cool, after our first video conference I wanted to be her friend. She and Yuri were so professional and easy to get along with, it felt like they were just hanging out with us while we got ready but really they were capturing beautiful moments. Yuri even helped our groomsmen tie their bowties because none of them knew how to! Janice got our video back to us earlier than expected because my mother-in-law's dad was not in good health and could not make it to the wedding. She had requested a little clip to show him and Janice gave us the whole edited video. Truly amazing, professional and truly truly talented. I would 110% recommend Big Dog Little Bed Productions! You'll get so much more than a generic wedding video but a story of your wedding day that you'll cherish forever.

My wife and I had the pleasure of working with Janice Smith and Big Dog Little Bed to capture the video of our wedding in April at the Fearrington. Janice was an absolute pleasure to work with, and made each step of the process fun and exciting. We met for our initial conversation over beers, and shared brunch for one of our last consultations. While we had high hopes, the final product far exceeded our expectations. Every piece of our video blended beautifully, creating a fairy-tale summary of our special day. From the music, to the speeches and every story that unraveled in between, we were blown away by the incredibly enchanting and detailed video which captured it all. Janice and her team blended in as if they were not even there, yet our video is proof they worked tirelessly not to miss any important moments.

We cannot say enough how thankful we are to have met and worked with Janice Smith. Every time we watch our video, we are emotionally brought back to the best day of our lives- and for that, we are forever grateful. We love you, Janice!

We didn't decide we wanted a videographer until fairly late in the game - when I was finally convinced, the good people at Fearrington recommended Big Dog Little Bed. After hiring her, Janice insisted we facetime since we were out of the area and she wanted to hear our story. Her warmth, enthusiasm and passion for her work was immediately apparent. She listened to what we wanted (advice videos, looots of dancing, lots of footage of our friends) and what we didn't. The crew from BDLB day of were exceptional - they were super professional, unobtrusive yet attentive and great to work with. Janice sent me stills the next day of some of the footage they caught - it was a super fun sneak peak and the photos were great. BLDB followed up with the advice video that week - perfectly edited so the advice went the way of the night (started off classy, ended up fun). Then there was the actual video: you know you're dealing with someone who loves their craft when they demand that the first time you watch it must be with your partner - Janice won't give you the password until you send a selfie of the two of you together - small but super awesome touch. There is not a single time I've watched that video without getting emotional. Janice told our story better than we ever could've imagined. She honored our family, our friends and our love. As my mother said "I can't even say how amazed I am they caught your personalities. The editing shows so much thought (not to mention talent); I'm blown away." Can't recommend this team enough!!! :)

Janice and BDLB were such an incredible part of our wedding, we could not imagine doing the day without them! During our consultation Janice immediately put me at east because it was so clear that she is a pro. I felt like I could just enjoy my day and trust that she would capture the moments for us to have forever--and I was right! Our highlight video seriously makes me cry every time I watch it (which embarrassingly is a lot). Our wedding was such an incredible day and I love that I have such wonderful high quality video to be able to relieve it.

We had the best experience working with Big Dog Little Bed Productions and love the wedding video they produced. Their communication was consistent and they kept us updated throughout the editing process until the video was complete. We met a few times before the wedding to go over details and what things about our day were important. I would highly recommend them for any video project.

Janice and her team are seriously the best! I worked with Janice on a video at a past job, so it was a no brainer to use her again for my wedding in July. Janice is so organized and made the process run smoothly from start to finish. We love our wedding video - hands down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding was to hire BDLB! She also sent us some stills while she was editing, which was awesome because we didn't have anything from our photographer yet. All in all just a wonderful experience!

Janice exquisitely captured our wedding in an absolutely flawless highlight video. She caught so many special moments and glimpses into the scenery that we missed! She was not only our videographer, but became our close friend was part of our family that day. We cannot recommend BDLB enough, especially knowing her passion for animals and rescuing, we knew we had to work with her, there was no question!

Janice (and the whole Big Dog Little Bed team) is phenomenal. Hiring a videographer for our wedding day was one of the best decisions my husband and I made. If you are on the fence about hiring one for your wedding day, you should go for it! We loved working with Brad and Laura on our wedding day and with Janice in the months before and after our wedding. Janice worked diligently with her sound technician to enhance my dad's wedding day speech as the quality was hindered by the fans running in our reception tent. Having her take the extra time to do that is extremely special to me and my family. We can't wait to watch our film for many years to come!

I chose Janice from BDLB as my wedding videographer because she incorporates drones into her work. I am extremely happy with my choice as Janice was easy to work with, fast, professional, and considerate. She gave us a video sneak peak trailer 1 day after the wedding. Hiring a videographer was an added expense for us, but in the end it was totally worth it and we couldn't have picked a better one!

Janice and her team were wonderful to work with from start to finish. She was always very responsive to all my questions and really took the time to get to know us as a couple before the wedding. The final product highlighted our day perfectly. The music she chose was great and matched the atmosphere of the venue. The only issue was a small audio glitch in the video. However, this was out of her control but she did explain the situation in a thoughtful way.

We were so pleased with Big Dog Little Bed. Beyond how great they were to work with the day of the wedding (fun, friendly, but not "in your face" videoing at all!), Janice made sure to meet and talk with us enough to know exactly what we wanted. Then the actual product was amazing. Our highlight video captured all of the fun moments of our wedding. The full length of our ceremony was perfect. My grandmother wasn't able to attend so being able to show her all of the different pieces of our wedding and re-live them with her was priceless. We would definitely recommend Big Dog Little Bed to anyone and could not believe more in the value of capturing your wedding day with a videographer. It was one of our best investments in our day.

I have absolutely nothing bad to say at all about Big Dog Little Bed! They exceeded my expectations!! I would give them 10 stars if I could. Janice (the owner) met us numerous times leading up to the big day in order to get to know us, our personalities, and exactly what we were looking for in the video. Janice was easy going, full of laughter, energy, and just overall the nicest vendor we had! We felt so comfortable around Janice & Brad the entire day, never did we feel like we were being filmed or having our picture taken. I could almost cry when I talk about how amazing Janice and her team are. Even in the midst of her own family emergency, she knew we had specific wants for our video, so she traveled to our wedding to make sure everything was perfect. There is not enough room in this comment field to tell you how amazing Janice and Big Dog Little Bed Productions is. My wife and I met Janice 2 years prior to our wedding and she was a JOY to work with throughout the whole process.

We went back and forth on whether we needed a videographer and I promise you, it was the best decision I made outside of marrying my wife, hehehe. The video quality is amazing and something we will cherish for the rest of our lives. They truly captured our big day in a way I never expected. On top of that, they have offered additional services since the wedding that we have used and/or planning on using in the future. Our DVDs arrived QUICKLY, they posted our videos on social media for our friends to share and even recorded and share our WHOLE wedding ceremony for us. It was BEAUTIFUL. I seriously could not have asked for a better experience.

I will recommend them over anyone, any day to every person who asks me. It was worth every penny! Love Janice, love Big Dog Little Bed Productions. You would be silly to choose anyone else!

So many amazing things to say about Bed Dog Little Bed Productions!! To start let me say that when I first began planning my wedding I wanted to have someone attending just set up a tripod and film the ceremony because videographers were expensive and I was trying to save as much as possible. To anyone who may be thinking this in their planning process....ITS WORTH IT! The money I spent on the video was easily the best money spent on my wedding. I have already watched the entire ceremony multiple times and the 6 min film....well I am in the triple digits:)! I got to see things that I missed and relive parts I was there for. Janice was professional, personable, and all around awesome! She managed to fit in like a friend at times and others I didn't even realize she was there. If there is one tip I would give to someone planning their wedding it would be to hire Janice. You will NOT regret it!!

Janice is absolutely amazing to work with! We saw some of her videos online and loved their quality and how personal they seemed. Frankly, her work was WAY better than any of the other videographers we could find online. Once we were sold on the product, my fiance and I reached out to Janice and she was quick to find a time for us to meet in person and discuss the details of the day. Janice was SO warm and friendly and we immediately knew we wanted to work with her. On the day of the wedding, Janice arrived early and had great energy and a positive attitude. It was a pleasure to have her around on the day of our wedding and we spent it laughing with her and her assistant, Brad. They both made our wedding day enjoyable, light, and fun. They also got along great with our photographers and it seemed as though everyone had great chemistry. Since the wedding, we have been in contact with Janice frequently as she has produced parts of our video package. It has been so fun to have each component (toasts, dances, highlight) and relive our special day. My husband and I are both so happy we decided to have Janice film our wedding. She was a pleasure to work with and delivered a super high quality product (and within 3 weeks of our wedding, which was so much faster than we expected). We couldn't recommend Big Dog Little Bed more. Hiring them was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding!!!

BDLB Productions is absolutely amazing!!!! Janice gave us an incredible way to look back on the most special memories from our wedding day. She captured the most precious moments and put them together in such a unique and meaningful way. My husband and I could not be more pleased with how the video came out. Janice was such a pleasure to work with. Throughout our wedding day, we hardly noticed she was there. Some people worry about hiring both a videographer and photographer because of the time it will take away from the day. However, Janice didn't take away any extra time from us and worked perfectly in sync with our photographer and quietly filmed all the important aspects of our day. The final product was something we couldn't be happier with! She had a quick turnaround time and all of our family and friends absolutely loved watching the highlight video. My husband and I put a lot of time and thought into selecting a videographer for our wedding, and after working with Janice Smith and Brad Habeeb from Big Dog Little Bed Productions, we could not be happier with our decision. From our first phone call with Janice to our most recent email exchange about receiving the DVDs, Janice has been both warm and professional, both down-to-earth and extremely proficient at her job. Throughout the planning process, she was responsive to phone calls and emails and answered all of our questions promptly and honestly. She also was very open to input and asked a lot of insightful questions so that she would be able to capture us as a couple and our wedding day genuinely. We live out of state, and during our only trip down to North Carolina before the wedding, Janice and Brad made time to meet with us. Not only did this help them to get to know us better, but it also helped us to feel more comfortable and relaxed on the wedding day. We loved sharing our wedding day with both of them and, honestly, forgot about the cameras most of the time! Our wedding party also thought they were wonderful. And, the highlights video that they created is truly spectacular. It is beyond anything we could have imagined, and everyone who has watched it has raved about it. We loved how they included shots of us, as well as of our family and friends, and how they captured so many intimate and special moments. The music was perfect, as was the selection of clips from the ceremony message and the toast that we gave during the reception. Janice and her team with BDLB were incredible. From the very beginning you can tell that Janice has a passion for this. On the big day her team captured what felt like every single detail.... WITHOUT feeling like they were in the way. I barely even noticed that they were there! Brides, if you are anything like me, you remember going to weddings when you were younger while some older gentleman walked around with a 75 lb camera on his shoulder asking everyone if they had "any advice for the happy couple?" ..... This is NOT that. Janice and her team are so talented, they made our day in to a movie that we can relive and replay over and over again. Not only for us but for our family. Janice was amazing! Like most people we (mainly my husband) wasn't entirely sure that we wanted a video. In the end, we both loved our video and have looked at it many more times than our wedding pictures. Janice did a beautiful job of capturing everything and really listened to what we wanted in the video. Moreover, the video is professional, high quality, and unique to us. Big Dog Little Bed captured our wedding so beautifully and I am so thankful to have this special day documented forever. The entire videography team was so incredibly professional and really put everyone at ease so that the final product felt so real and like you were part of the wedding as you watched. Also, when I initially decided to hire a videographer, I was concerned they could be intrusive during the ceremony and everyone would notice a huge video camera, but Janice assured me this would not be the case. After the wedding, I had guests tell me they didn't even know we had a videographer because everyone was so discreet and blended in with the ceremony and reception. The video is truly one of the most beautiful wedding highlight videos I have seen, from the way the video was edited with music and the voices of the ministers and the best man's toast, to the smallest details that were captured that really show the essence of the wedding. It truly brought out the emotion of the day and I heard more than one person (myself included) say it made them cry (even people that didn't attend). One of my friends said this after watching the video "normally I think these videos are cheesy and lame .. but this one is really gorgeous and genuine. I feel like I can feel your wedding I really loved it. Beautiful!!"

Janice was an absolute delight to work with. From the moment I contacted her, I could tell she wanted to make this a perfect and personalized experience for us. She wanted to get to know me and my fiance, to know our story, and to truly understand our vision for our wedding video. She was also very honest about her style and what she was and she wasn't. I loved her openness and flexibility. On the day of our wedding, Janice and her co-shooter Brad were just great. They did an awesome job coordinating with our photographer to make sure both the still film and videos ended up perfect. Even after the final videos were complete, Janice worked with me to tweak some minor adjustments to get exactly what I wanted. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a unique and personalized memory of the best day of your life.

Janice and the team at Big Dog Little Bed is AMAZING!!!! Janice was referred to us by our friends who had used her for their wedding. I'm not the most decisive person, and throughout the course of our wedding planning process there were lots of details that changed multiple times: venue, band or dj, flowers etc. However, the one thing that never changed was the fact that I wanted Janice as our "story teller". She has a special gift, she has the ability to take people you don't even know and connect you to them in a span of three minutes to the point where you find yourself crying at the end of their wedding video. That gift is also very evident in the video she makes of your special day. Having just gotten our video about a week ago, my husband and I have already watched it at least 50 times...catching a new detail each time:) Everyone we share our video with is blown away and many brought to tears. The other thing my husband and I loved about Janice is how kind and friendly she is; unlike many others in the industry you aren't just a number with Janice. Do yourself a favor and hire Janice to capture your special day! You won't regret it!!!!!

Big Dog Little Bed and Janice, specifically, exceeded all of my hopes and expectations when it came to our wedding video! I didn't even know that it would mean so much to me to be able to watch our ceremony and reception moments on video, but I have literally watched it at least 30 times already and cry almost every time :) She was completely professional and almost invisible, I never actually saw her shooting! She was so discreet and still got all of amazing shots we wanted! Janice is a complete joy and she approached our video with skill, focus and excitement. I feel so lucky to have worked with her and have our video for lifelong memories of our wedding day.

We were unbelievably lucky to find Janice to help carry out a video project led by my non-profit organization. She is an incredibly talented videographer, artist and storyteller - the quality of the final videos she produced was top-notch (despite a much lower-than-average billing rate)! She was also a great pleasure to work with - available, responsive, flexible, and willing to do whatever it took to make the final product meet our very high expectations. I am grateful not only to be able to recommend Janice to *anyone* nearby who needs an excellent videographer, but also to now call her a friend.

Big Dog Little Bed gave us our greatest memories of our wedding and reception. Our highlight video was amazing! We actually received our highlight video in LESS THAN A MONTH from our wedding date. We still watch our video atleast once a week because we love it so much. While Janice and her team were editing our wedding day footage- she would post "still images" on facebook to give us a quick glance of what we had to look forward to for the future! Janice and her team were so quick to respond to any request that my husband and I had before and during the wedding day. They created a customize wedding videography package to suit our needs and budget. We cannot say enough wonderful things about them. BDLB you are an amazing videography company. You offer so much more than just a video to your clients- we cannot thank you enough!

Our photographer Krystal Kast recommended Big Dog Little Bed Productions to us when we last minute (literally) changed our minds to have our wedding filmed. Janice (and crew) agreed to the task just one day before the date. We were so grateful for their availability and flexibility. There wasn't time to meet in person, so over the phone we quickly discussed our wishes, Big Dog's filming style, costs etc. I was stressed and scattered, she was kind, calming, and accommodating. Once we had returned from our honeymoon, we met Janice at a coffee shop in Durham to pick up the wedding video and to meet in person for the first time. The three of us watched the highlights video together and we cried. I was so touched by how she was able to capture the heart and spirit of our ceremony. With very little input from our end, Janice creatively and honestly filmed the most amazing moments of our lives. And we are so thankful.

Janice is amazing and I am in love with our wedding video! She captured all of the right moments and created a video that we can watch for years to come. Janice and her sidekick worked great with a pair of photographers that we had during our wedding. The two videos that she made were fantastic! She did a great job of capturing the reception's party atmosphere in one video and then the grandness of the day in another video. Absolutely A+!

Jancie and her team exceeded all of my hopes and expectations. They were prompt, professional and responsive-- if I wanted something captured on film, they got it. If something was running late, they were flexible. I never once felt like there was a camera around, they were discrete and out of the way. Best of all- my video is incredible and captures my wedding day absolutely perfectly. I could not have asked for a better product! Easily worth twice the amount she charges- the value is priceless!!

It was an absolute delight to work with Janice! From our first emails to the actual wedding day, Janice was always prompt, professional, and extremely friendly. Through all of our conversations, Janice really took the time to get to know my husband, me, and who we are as a couple which she perfectly encapsulated with our wedding video. Janice's wedding video is, by far, our favorite memento from the wedding! She listened to our suggestions and requests, but with her creativity, she produced the perfect keepsake for us. Not only do we love it, but our family and friends who could not travel for the wedding are so thankful that they have been able to see and experience what it was like. Big Dog Little Bed Productions did a great job! We were able to meet with Janice and talk about our vision for both our Save the Date and our wedding. The Save the Date was a ton of fun and it gave us time to get a sense of Janice's style and Janice time to get to know ours. She did a phenomenal job all around. AMAZING VIDEOGRAPHER!

Janice of Big Dog, Little Bed Productions was an awesome person to work with! We contacted her just days before our wedding and I was so impressed with the speed of her response and flexibility in working with me on such short notice. She is someone with a great personality who we knew would blend in well with the guests at our wedding while still upholding a completely professional demeanor and we were totally right!

Her pricing is competetive and was the best value as we shopped around for something that worked with our budget. She maintained contact with me throughout the process and responded to my emails quicker than I thought possible which was extremely comforting. We felt no stress when it came to this part of the planning because she took such great care of us.

Our video was ready shortly after the wedding (just upon our return from our honeymoon) which allowed us to enjoy the day again just when we really started wishing we could do it all over again! The video was more than we could have ever asked for. It captured every special moment from the day and she chose the most perfect song to accompany the video. The film was flawless. It brought tears of joy and great compliments from everyone who we shared it with!

I would HIGHLY recommend Big Dog, Little Bed to anyone looking for a personable, professional, talented, and AWESOME videographer for your wedding or any of life's most precious events. I could not be happier with our choice in having Janice as a part of our big day and look forward to working with her again in the future!

Janice is a lot of fun and did a fantastic job! She is really thoughtful and an excellent listener so she will cater her services to what you are looking for and what you want. Although weddings are costly, this is the one expense that will constantly give back in the future. Janice's DVD allowed us to make our family members and friends who couldn't attend still feel like a special part of our day. Also, we are looking forward to being able to experience our day again and again on future anniversaries when we watch our DVD.

Janice from Big Dog Little Bed was extremely easy to work with and made it her priority to make our wedding video personal and fun. She made the time to talk to my fiance and I about what we wanted and had a questionnaire that allowed us to make more specific requests about the final video. While not everything was included, I understand that is the nature of capturing candid shots- sometimes they just don't happen. Otherwise we are extremely pleased with the quality of the end product. Everytime we watch it, it has us laughing, smiling, and pointing out details we didn't get to appreciate on the actual wedding day. Thanks so much Janice!!

Janice was great before, during, and after our wedding day. She met with us to discuss our vision beforehand, made us both feel super comfortable on the day of the wedding, and produced a video for us that we absolutely loved!
