Cinematic & ecstatic ✨

Wedding videos tend to suck. For the most part, they feel artificial and painfully cheesy. When we were looking into local vendors we saw an interminable string of boring and formulaic videos that all blended together, totally lacking in personality or artistry. We kinda give up on having one at all.

Buuuuut we kept thinking it over. We are film people… after all, it’s what brought us together! And we knew we’d regret not committing our big day to video. We were determined to find someone outside the wedding industrial complex, a Cinematographer with a capital “C,” someone who works from a place of curiosity, experimentation, and a true love of visual storytelling. It was like we manifested Alfredo. He came into the project with so much warmth and enthusiasm. We hit it off immediately and we wanted to give him full creative freedom in both filming and editing. He was going to be such a big part of the celebration that we wanted him and his camera to have fun and be like any of our others guests… except a bit more observant. His presence felt so seamless and natural, neither detached nor intrusive. He was just one of the awesome people we were having an awesome time with. And the end product? We were floored. Five years later, we still are. His work is wonderfully evocative. Every time we watch our video it’s like we’ve snapped back in time, immersed in the memories and emotions of that day. Cinematic and ecstatic, he was able to document the quieter, more tender moments before the ceremony as powerfully as the wilder, more frenzied moments on the dance floor. Through Alfredo’s craft we’re transported back to the most joyous day of our life. He was a dream to collaborate with and we couldn’t be more grateful. 💕

I honestly don’t have enough words to express how thankful we are for the incredible work Alfi did capturing our wedding on January 29th. From the moment we spoke, we knew we were in good hands, but the final video, short film really, exceeded all our expectations in ways we couldn’t have imagined.

The way Alfi was able to beautifully capture the emotion, the laughter, and the special moments throughout was magical. The attention to detail in the footage—how every glance, every smile, every tear was so thoughtfully captured—made us feel like we were reliving our wedding day all over again. We love how the video didn’t just showcase the event itself, but also the love and joy that surrounded us that day. Also and important to highlight, the audio and quality—both impecable.

What stood out the most to us was the seamless way Alfi and the team (shoutout to Miguel) blended in during the whole event. They were unobtrusive, but always in the right place at the right time to get the perfect shot. The final result was a stunning, cinematic portrayal of our day that we will treasure for the rest of our lives. It’s not just a wedding video; it’s a beautiful piece of art that will allow us to revisit one dof the happiest days of our lives for years to come.

We can’t recommend Alfi enough. Thank you for giving us the gift of these unforgettable memories!

Most Beautiful Pictures of My Life

There was no one else I would have trusted to take my Wedding Pictures. His pictures look like paintings. He shot us in our truth. We felt completely safe and relaxed when communicating with him prior. At the wedding he floated around, without interrupting or getting in the way. When taking our pictures he was really respectful and communicated clearly. We could trust that he would capture us in our best light. He was very adaptable and aware of his surroundings, always making the most out of his resources. The pictures are BEAUTIFUL and I know we will look at the and love them for the rest of our lives. I can not stop looking at them. I love them. I love how we look. I love how intimately and subtly you can see our emotions. I highly recommend Alfredo because he is an Artist and an expert in his field.

Quality work! In love with my wedding video.

Big Day Studio really did an amazing job capturing every moment of our wedding. We were really not sure if we were going to have a videographer, we did a lot of research and stumbled upon one of the videos they did for one wedding and absolutely fell in love on how they produced it, it was like a movie. And that’s what I wanted. The video was like a movie, how they put the words with each scene, the music they selected, hoy they captured everything single moment and everyone in our wedding was absolutely beautiful. I’ve watched this video a thousand times. In would 1,000% recommend Alfredo to capture every single moment of your Big Day! He is trully an artist, Very profesional and responsive as well. You won’t regret it.

Professional, friendly, and inspired

I cannot be more in love with our wedding video. Alfredo did more than record our wedding day; he captured and told a story through his careful eye for detail and his thoughtful editing. Alfredo and his team were very professional throughout the entire day. It's surprising how much close-up footage and special moments they captured without us even noticing they were there! I'm pretty camera shy, but he made me feel comfortable and adjusted so I could feel more like myself. It's the little details that make Alfredo stand out from the rest. The final product was breathtaking, surpassing all our expectations and making us relive that special day every time we watch it.

My wedding movie

The best part of my wedding was the video. I barely noticed Alfredo recording us, and it never felt forced or posed; the crew was part of the celebration. I was pleasantly surprised it’s more like a short movie I love to rewatch. I didn’t really remember all the details from my wedding until I saw the video. 100% recommended and necessary for wedding memories.

Absolutely perfect

My sister in law had highly recommended Alfredo as our wedding videographer and he certainly did not disappoint. We absolutely loved the final result of both the short wedding video and the raw footage. Alfredo managed to film every detail to perfection. Working with him was great because even though he did film every detail, he managed to make us feel relaxed and simply enjoy our big day. Would highly recommend!

Top Quality Service and Professional

The services provided were like those not found to often in Puerto Rico. Alfredo and his team took time to talk to my wife and ask her how to make the day even more special. He was patient during the whole ordeal, giving his professional opinion when needed to make things even more memorable and incredible. He had amazing rapport with the camera man who was not on his team and they came together to shine and create memories my wife and i still cherish 6 years later. The day of the wedding Alfredo is on top of his game. He spends time with the bride and the groom capturing the best moments and even ones you dont know and the final product is priceless. His videos are something that make you smile, laugh, cry and remember moments you thought had passed in a second. I hope i dont get married again but when i renew my vows im calling Alfredo and his team 100%. Highly recommended

Alfredo was the videographer at our wedding 7 years ago. Let me start by saying that he exceeded our expectations; not only on our wedding day but on how the video turned out. He made us feel extremely comfortable on a very chaotic day. Alfredo and his crew work with professionalism and yet they make you feel like you've been friends forever.

We watch the video every day on our anniversary. It captures every magical moment of that day perfectly so we get to relive it every time we watch it. 10/10 would recommend to anybody that's looking for a one a kind video edit of their special day.
