Every time I visit Big Cork it’s even more beautiful to me. It’s literally the perfect venue. The view of mountains, greenery, and vineyard is a triple threat. It’s breathtaking! The indoor area is just as divine. It’s a true gem hidden in the hills of a Maryland valley along the Appalachia.
Big Cork, Meagan, Emma, and the vendors they work with were beyond expectations! They were so friendly, helpful, and accommodating throughout the whole planning and finish of our special day.
My husband and I would repeat that weekend for the rest of our lives, that’s how perfect it was. A literal dream. Thank you so much. It was flawless 👌🏼♥️
P.S. The Big House on property lives up to all expectations! Master bathroom is heaven on earth in my opinion. -

Big Cork was magnificent - the venue is beautiful and everyone who attended was extremely happy. The house on the property where we staid was beautiful and it made it so convenient. I we had to do it all over we will use Big Cork again. If I had to say anything could improve, i would be having AC /ventilation for the exterior spaces -

Big Cork Vineyards had always been a favorite for me and my husband. Having our wedding at Big Cork was an absolute dream. We stayed at the BIG house on the property the day before our wedding through the day after and it was such a treat! We felt so spoiled through the whole process. Meagan Grove (the Big Cork events manager) and her assistant, Emma Norton, were beyond attentive, helpful, and supportive through the whole process. I cannot give them enough praise. Truly. Our wedding was a dream. We had our ceremony in front of the vines and an intimate reception in the barrel room. The venue and property are stunning. I cannot recommend Big Cork enough. -

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue for our wedding! The scenery was absolutely beautiful, with breathtaking views that created the ideal backdrop for our day. Our guests were wowed by the setting, and we were thrilled with how everything looked.
A special thank you to Meagan for her incredible flexibility and support throughout the planning process. She went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, making adjustments and helping us bring our vision to life. Her calm and organized approach made the entire experience smooth and stress-free.

Best venue ever!
We got married at Big Cork about a month ago, and it was as close to perfect as you could get! Can't say enough at how impressed we were with what Big Cork offered. We had 150 guests, and with the weather in mid-September, our guests got the chance to take all of the property in, from arrival at 5:30, through Sunset, and capping off the night at 11.
Meagan was wonderful to work with, very polite and approachable when we had questions throughout our planning process. She was even able to make a few last minute changes to our table layout a couple days before. Her team was very efficient in the setup and breakdown of the tables and chairs for ceremony and reception, in a short amount of time!
Big Cork offers their wedding guests the Big House, which is a 5 bedroom home on the property. We were able to use this for our rehearsal dinner, first look, and after-party. This was a game changer! We would recommend anyone to have Big Cork host their wedding, we will certainly be back on weekends to enjoy their wine and take the views in. 10/10. -

We got married at Big Cork on August 12th this year and we could not recommend it enough. We also had the luxury of having the big house from Friday to Sunday which I would HIGHLY recommend. All of our friends and family really cherished that extra time we could all spend together and it was the perfect place for me and my bridesmaids for the weekend. Megan was absolutely amazing and the coordination of the day from the venue side was absolutely perfect. The only thing we wish was that we had more time because it was that great! We would definitely recommend Big Cork Vineyards to anyone getting married in the DMV area. Amazing wine as well with such knowledgeable staff. -

We recently hosted my daughter’s wedding at Big Cork. From the planning stages to the big day, Megan, the event coordinator, provided exceptional service. The winery is absolutely beautiful and included in the rental is a large home that we had access to from Friday to Sunday. We had the entire wedding party and almost all of the guests traveling from out of the state and overseas. We had a bridal shower and the rehearsal dinner at the house and the entire wedding party stayed there throughout the weekend. Our guests raved about the setting, the wine, and the attention to detail. We would not hesitate to recommend Big Cork. It was the perfect backdrop for a wedding celebration and we were able to focus on our family and friends without worrying about any of the details. Thank you so much to Megan and the staff at Big Cork for making meeting and exceeding our expectations! -

Big Cork has it all - stunning views, great wine, and an amazing team. My husband and I had the perfect day there, and we also received so many compliments from our guests on every aspect of the venue. Everything went so smoothly - we had our ceremony in the field at sunset with a gorgeous golden hour (our dog was also allowed to be present as ringbearer), then transitioned from cocktail hour to dinner to dancing without a hitch. I also particularly wanted to call out our venue contact Meagan, who was always amazingly responsive and helpful for my (probably literally) hundred emails. Oh also the Big House was a great part of the package - it made getting ready / hosting a rehearsal so easy, and of course it was super convenient to travel to our celebration and back. We'd definitely recommend this place for anyone looking to get married in the area!! -

Stunning Venue!
Big Cork Vineyards has everything you need for a fantastic wedding venue! We held our wedding indoors (wedding was in March) in the barrel room and we couldn't be more happy. Meagan, the venue coordinator, was very responsive and helped us with anything we needed. A huge bonus to Big Cork is being able to use the Big House during the weekend of the wedding. That allowed us to save a lot of money for things like the rehearsal dinner. Big Cork offers stunning views if you decide to have your wedding outdoors. We cannot recommend Big Cork enough! -

I would highly recommend using Big Cork Vineyards as your wedding venue. We had an amazing experience from my first contact with Meagan, the venue coordinator. The process working with her was nearly seamless. We had a lot of back and forth on the day-of the wedding about rain/backup plans, and Meagan was always willing to work with us. Fortunately, we were able to have our ceremony and reception outside and our guests couldn't have been more amazed by the scenery. We got so many compliments on our wedding being elegant, and I know it had a lot to do with our choice of venue. You won't regret it! -

We couldn't be happier having our October wedding at Big Cork! It was the perfect place to make an entire long weekend celebration that was the ideal mix of beautiful, relaxed, and functional. We paid a small upcharge to reserve the Big House (one of the best perks of the venue!) starting on Thursday, where it served as lodging for the bridal party for a long weekend of festivities. It was also where we hosted a casual rehearsal dinner on Friday night and post-wedding brunch on Sunday morning. It saved us time and money and enabled us to see (and feed) our guests the entire weekend. The venue itself is also stunning, even in late October! We opted to do an outdoor ceremony which was cold but totally worth it, and then semi-outdoor reception under the tents which have heaters, making it pretty darn comfortable. Meagan from Big Cork was so fun to work with, and has so much experience hosting weddings here that she was able to make tons of helpful suggestions for our day. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how beautiful the winery is and how they enjoyed having a "home base" for the weekend! We can't recommend Big Cork enough! -

We can't say enough good things about our wedding at Big Cork! While the beauty of the venue sells itself, it was really Meagan and the team at BCV that made our experience so amazing. Our wedding was originally planned for 2020 and, no surprise, we ended up postponing...a couple times. Throughout the stress of wedding planning during the pandemic, the one constant was the amazing flexibility, communication & support from the events team at Big Cork. When our big day finally happened, Big Cork made us feel SO special and well taken care of. We could not have dreamed of a more perfect venue to celebrate our wedding!!! -

They (Meagan/Grant) were absolutely perfection! Being the wedding planner for my sons wedding…they made my job so easy…a genuine pleasure to work with them!
The vineyard and all the ambiance it brought made for a fantastic day!
I have given their contact info out to a couple of friends needing a venue.

Big Cork is the perfect back drop for a beautiful outdoor wedding with alternate options available if weather doesn't cooperate. In our case it did and the day was absolutely magnificent. Venue has beautiful scenery with a top notch staff assisting you through your planning and big day. I can not recommend this venue enough! -

We fell in love with Big Cork the moment we walked onto the property. Meagan and staff were easy to work with and very accommodating on all the needs we had. We had to move our wedding three times, due to Covid, and she was able to work with us each time.
Being able to rent the Big House, which is on the property, was a big bonus, since it gave us a place to hang out and get ready and take pre-wedding pictures.
The wedding day was beautiful and they had everything exactly the way we had envisioned.
We cant say enough about how amazing working with them was and how beautiful the actual day turned out.
If you're looking for a venue that checks all the boxes, this is the place for you! -

Big Cork, Meagan and staff were amazing. After 2 postponed weddings in 2020, due to Covid, the final date was 5/01/2021 and they were amazing. The wedding was everything we could have asked for and more. Being able to rent the Big House was an added bonus, since that gave us a place to get ready and take pictures before the wedding. I would definitely recommend Big Cork for a future event. -

My now-husband and I enjoy wine tasting, and we found BIG Cork Vineyards on a whim just shortly after having to cancel our original wedding plans (as many 2020 couples had to do). We first fell in love with the wine, and then decided to look into having a small December 2020 wedding reception at the winery. Meagan, and the whole BIG Cork Vineyards team, were amazing to work with! They were so understanding, flexible, easy to talk to, and responsive. They made planning our reception easy from start to finish and they were willing to work with us through anything that COVID may throw at us. We both felt that the price of the venue is very fair and we loved that Meagan was willing to accommodate what we needed to make our day special and unique! We shortened our guest list from 125 to 50 people (due to the indoor COVID restrictions at the time), but our day at BIG Cork couldn’t have been more wonderful! We had access to the large house on the grounds (included in the rental cost) for the weekend and our wedding parties & families were able to stay there and use the place to get ready (this is an amazing perk to using BIG Cork for your wedding day)! We had most of our reception and dinner in the barrel room, which is so beautiful and intimate, especially for a smaller wedding celebration! We were even able to set up some lawn games (provided by the winery) on the heated patio and our guests loved this! Since our wedding was in December, everything was already decorated so beautifully that my husband and I only had to provide minimal decorations ourselves. The grounds are also breathtaking, even in the wintertime, making for some beautiful photo ops! All of our guests couldn’t stop talking about our wedding and we already have family members begging us to bring them some BIG Cork wines when we visit (which of course we will happily do)! My husband and I cannot recommend BIG Cork Vineyards and the wedding coordinating team there enough! We are looking forward to going back there soon for a glass of wine and to reminisce about our amazing day! -

We got married in 2020, switching venues and a few vendors and cutting our 150 guest list to 24 people. We lucked out with Big Cork. It was better than we could have ever imagined. Meagan at Big Cork was awesome at coordinating with our existing/new vendors from the previously planned wedding and family that helped in planning. She helped everything run smoothly. All of the staff at Big Cork were friendly and accommodating in visits leading up to the Big Day and during. We did everything outdoors: it was absolutely beautiful with the vineyard and the mountains. Tent had plenty of room for dinner tables, dessert table, dj and dancing. Undersung Hero of Big Cork: the Big House. Because it was so small, all of our wedding party stayed at the Big House the whole weekend, we had our rehearsal dinner there and everyone had a blast getting ready there (Big enough to accommodate bride and groom without seeing each other). Big or small, I cannot recommend a wedding here enough! -

AMAZING!! Perfect venue and wedding day :)
I would give more stars if I could!! BIG Cork was such an amazing venue and the staff there is fantastic! Meagan was very responsive and helpful throughout the entire process and made our day perfect :) The house on the property is amazing and was such an asset, from the rehearsal dinner, to getting ready on the day of, it made such a difference in our experience. Rain or shine BIG Cork has so many options and is willing to accommodate any way possible to make your vision for your wedding day happen. I would recommend this venue to anyone who is looking for a stress-free, beautiful wedding! Given the crazy times, BIG Cork was extremely flexible and gave us the opportunity to escape reality for two days and really enjoy this special time in our lives. My husband and I had such a great time on our wedding day and we wish we could relive every moment (it was perfect!) We have received countless compliments on BIG Cork from our guests. The rolling hills and incredible views are unforgettable and we will no doubt be returning for years to come. It’s quite the gem!! ;) -

My fiance and I fell in love with this venue the moment we arrived. We booked it the same day and never regretted that decision. The point of contact, Meagan, was so helpful the whole time in answering all my questions and helping me plan out the perfect day. It was so nice to have the option for inside or outside ceremony/reception/ cocktail hour depending on the weather. The views were breathtaking and the day ran so smooth. I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone who wants to get married in the mountains. -

BIG Cork made our wedding dreams come true! We only visited one wedding venue, BIG Cork and when we walked in the door, we knew we had found our dream location. BIG Cork is modern while still being intimate and warm. We had a wonderful dinner with one long table in the production room and it was absolutely stunning with the amazing chandeliers. We had dancing outside under the canopy which was absolutely perfect. The views are incredible. The BIG House is a dream. Being able to stay at the house and have our family and friends get ready with us on the property made the entire weekend. All of the staff (Shoutout to Meagan) were incredible and went above and beyond before and during the wedding. We couldn't have asked for a better location and more importantly, even better people to work with. BIG Cork will be a special place for us forever. -

I can't say enough good things about Meagan! She was always on top of things when I emailed her with questions or concerns. She met with me and the other venders to make sure every detail was what my daughter wanted for her wedding. She was very Professional and Easy to work with. The Big Cork Sommelier helped pick out the 3 Perfect wines for each of our entrees. The owner took his time talking and having a glass of wine with the Groom when he and my daughter visited from Groton, CN, to see the venue. They were extremely comfortable with how Friendly everyone was there. They give military discounts too! I would recommend Big Cork as the Best Venue for your wedding! -

Such a breathtaking wedding venue!
We rent the house on the hill and had the wedding at the vineyard. So convenient! The wedding planner, Maegan, was so accommodating and responded to all of my emails rather quickly. They do not have catering but you can hire your own. Small town feel with a big town quality of service. -

Gorgeous, fun vibe, attentive staff
Loved working with Meagan and the BIG staff who truly allowed our day to be what we wanted. Everyone loved the venue and the House that comes with is made the cost worth it to have a place for us and others to stay and get ready all weekend. -
