  Danced the Night Away

  3 years ago, prior to my now husband and I dating, we attended a friends wedding where the DJ was awesome. As soon as we were engaged, we KNEW we needed to hire that DJ. We asked our friends and they pointed us to Bialeks - specifically DJ Brian Weber. He had us give playlists to him as a reference (we gave him must plays, dinner music, and general inspiration), and he absolutely crushed it on our wedding day. He played songs all the way through (no mixing which was important to us), and kept the party hopping - the dance floor was packed all night. Everyone from our friends (mid-20s) and our parents + their friends + family (50s-70s) all loved the music. DJ Brian made our wedding day so special, accommodated our requests, and blew us away with the music.

  Amazing partner for your music needs

  We worked with Bialek to book 2 bands. String Trio were a wonderful trio for the ceremony. They were easy to communicate with, delightful in-person, and sounded beautiful. Black Tie was our reception band and....they just KNOCKED IT OUT! I can't tell you how many compliments we got for having them. Zach was super easy to work with leading up to it and the lead singer (whose name is escaping me right now) was so great as an emcee. The couple wanted a party, and they got a party!

  Best decision of the entire planning process

  We received compliments all night long about how Radio City was the best wedding band our guests have heard- even from couples who had a band at their own wedding. The dance floor was packed the entire night. Scott was such a pleasure to work with. The entire band was extremely talented and played exactly the kind of music we wanted. They learned our first dance song and performed it perfectly. Highly recommend adding on the horns! It makes such a difference. We cannot recommend Radio City enough!

  Highly recommend for DJ & photobooth!

  We hired DJ Joe Taylor & a photobooth from Bialek's for our wedding on 7/27/24. DJ Joe was AMAZING! The dancefloor was packed all night - he was great at reading the crowd and keeping the party going. He knew how to balance MCing as well - he said just enough to get our guests excited and followed the timeline perfectly. In addition to being a great DJ, Joe and Robin at Bialek's (who organized communication & payment) were super easy to work with. Accommodating, receptive, and professional.
  
  The photobooth was great too! One of the best deals you can get in the area for price and quality of service. We got to customize the background and photo strip design. Our guests loved it!

  Super fun and personalized party!

  DJ Ellz was so awesome. He made the night so fun and he read the crowd perfectly. Everyone danced so much and he read the room great. Guests loved giving him requests and he even helped the groom's uncle perform a last minute song he wanted to sing. DJ Ellz knew we loved ABBA and he even helped us pick a fun ABBA last dance. He thoughtfully downloaded what we liked before. He set up the music for our ceremony perfectly and everything was timed really well. Very organized and met with us before the party to go through everything and learn more about us. He even caught an error that I typed into the program. All of our guests keep telling us the music was great and it was a wonderful party! Thank you Bialek's Music and DJ Ellz.

  50th Wedding Anniversary Party

  We had the jazz quartet, Merlot, for my in-laws 50th wedding anniversary party. They were amazing, and my husband and father-in-law (who are musicians themselves) were very impressed. We were very happy with the music!

  We loved working with Bialek Music. Everyone we spoke with was professional and kind. Joe was awesome! We received SO much feedback that the music was incredible. Joe kept the guests dancing - at an outdoor wedding during the heat dome weekend in DC! So you know the music was good. We had the best time, and Joe was a big part of that!

  We were absolutely thrilled with Brian from Bialek's Music as our wedding DJ! From start to finish, he brought a level of professionalism, talent, and warmth that truly elevated our special day.

Even though we didn't provide a song list, Brian seamlessly tailored the music to match the mood and energy of the evening, keeping our guests engaged and on the dance floor all night.   24K was absolute gold

  Despite a heat wave that put the temperature at nearly 100°, 24K was the magic that kept 150 people on the dancefloor during our outdoorsy barn wedding.
  
  They are extremely talented, bring outstanding energy, and made our wedding day so much fun. We have received a ton of compliments from our guests, including some who wanted to book 24K for their own events.
  
  It was great working with Bialek's, who allowed us to see the band perform twice, were very responsive, and helpful throughout the whole process.
  
  Coordinating with the band was terrific, too. Jill, who is the band leader and also managed our ceremony sound, was awesome, adaptable, worked with us on a few custom songs, and very responsive. Due to the heat wave, we had to adjust our plans to help keep our guests safe, and the band was so kind, flexible, and (with their ultramarathon-like energy) kept the party going during the whole sauna-like reception.   DJ Debbie created our vibe!

  We worked with DJ Debbie Bulles for our wedding and she was fabulous! Very easy to work with, and our planner sent her all the details for timing, announcements, and song cuts. We even made playlists for her of our favorite songs to pull from for the dance floor. She was always smiling when we saw her and kept the energy up. Recommend!

  My husband and I are so happy we worked with Bialek's Music on our wedding day! DJ Roscoe is a fantastic professional who spoke with us three times before our wedding to understand our timeline, the flow of the evening, and our music requests. He kept the night's energy high and was responsive and warm when taking requests from guests. He also provided flawless AV support for our wedding ceremony and toasts. On a personal note, we appreciated his calm, kind energy, excellent communication, and professionalism. We can't recommend DJ Roscoe and Bialek's Music enough!

  Incredible Wedding DJ

  We worked with Joe and he was a pleasure to work with throughout the whole process. He had a very clear questionnaire to help us get started and then had a great mix for our wedding. Was extremely professional for all introductions and one of the best dance floors we’ve been a part of. One guest said it was the most fun night she’s ever had. Would highly recommend

  The String Duo, Robin, and the whole experience from booking to the event was better than I could have ever imagined. They learned custom songs not in their (already extensive) lists and were all about our eclectic choices. We got countless compliments from our guests at their talent, personableness, and overall performances. This was the first vendor I booked and the one I am absolutely the most delighted that I had.

  The String Duo, Robin, and the whole experience from booking to the event was better than I could have ever imagined. They learned custom songs not in their (already extensive) lists and were all about our eclectic choices. We got countless compliments from our guests at their talent, personableness, and overall performances. This was the first vendor I booked and the one I am absolutely the most delighted that I had.

  BIalek's Music was outstanding when it came to booking a DJ for our reception at the Smithsonian Natural History museum.
  
  They were attentive, quick to answer questions and guide me through the process. They sent me a list of DJs to review and I picked my favorite to see if he was available.
  
  DJ Stacc3 or DJ Mike was incredible! I had an international audience ranging from 10 years old - 75+... he hit the nail on the head and had them asking for an encore. He came with the whole setup; speakers, microphone, etc. When I asked him to make an announcement, he did not hesitate.
  
  I couldn't recommend Bialek's and DJ Mike enough!

  We had a great experience with Bialek's & DJ Welvin; Robin at Bialek's was very friendly and helped us sort through their large roster of potential DJs and bands, and DJ Welvin was a consummate professional & musician! Welvin was very proactive and thorough in ensuring that we were all prepared for "the Big Day", and he kept all of us energized for the whole ceremony & reception - we've never seen a dance floor so full all the way through the last song!

  Absolutely Fantastic!

  We booked the Rollex Band for our wedding with Bialek's Music and they did not disappoint! From our first consultation to our wedding day, the band and our point of contact, Robin, were absolutely incredible! Robin was communicative, professional, friendly, and a joy to work with. She respected our budget while helping us make our day so special! The band was amazing! They provided sound for our ceremony, keyboard for our cocktail hour, and of course had us partying throughout the entire reception. Their sound was amazing, they had song choices in every musical genre, and absolutely killed it playing the hora! We are receiving so many compliments from guests about how great the band was and how much fun they made our night. You will not go wrong booking your band through Bialek's music and are sure to have a blast!

  Unique and energetic dance floor all night long!

  DJ Jill did a great job understanding our musical tastes and executing on the vision for our ceremony, cocktail hour and dance floor. Every song was a hit, but also tailored to us and our preferences. Our families and friends couldn’t believe how Jill got everyone out on the dance floor. Despite the cooler weather, Jill really elevated the whole day and made the memories that much sweeter!

  DJ Elliot is the best!

  We hired DJ Elliot for our wedding in March. The guests loved his set. He seamlessly wove together lots of different styles of music -- including songs that appealed to older guests. One guest came up to us and said: "This is the best wedding DJ I've ever heard!" We highly recommend Elliot.

  DJ Mike kept us dancing all night!

  We hired a DJ and a photobooth through Bialek’s Music for our wedding. Chris helped us set up everything. He was prompt and courteous. Our only hiccup came with the photobooth. Before the wedding, we designed printouts for our guestbook and organized the props, set up, and overall layout. The issue came up on the wedding day. We thought the photobooth was coming with our DJ, but it was actually a third party. Our DJ took the lead and addressed the problem quickly with Chris. The photobooth and operator arrived well before our reception, but there was a moment in which we were not sure due to a communication error.
  
  
  We chose DJ Mike for his style of blending genres and keeping the dancefloor full all night. Before the wedding, he found 30 minutes in a chaotic moment in his own life to meet with us and plan out the night briefly. He requested we develop a short playlist of must play songs, which he used as a basis for the entire night. The bride wanted to dance all night and DJ Mike made that happen. We highly recommend working with Bialek’s, particularly DJ Mike if you want a dance heavy party!

  Best DJ experience!

  DJ Jill is an absolute dream to work with! She is very responsive, attentive to our music needs, and super professional. We felt at ease knowing she would be able to lead the music on our special day seamlessly and she read the room throughout the evening perfectly. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

  We did their discount package which assigns an available DJ to our wedding close to the wedding day. We didn't hear from our DJ (Austell/Alpha Sonic) until 6 days before the wedding (not sure if that is normal timing?) and I wasn't able to hop on a call with him until 2 days later, but despite the short timeframe, we were really happy with how the music turned out throughout the whole day. We provided Austell with a playlist of songs we wanted for our ceremony/cocktail hour/dance/etc and he listened and played everything we requested. He was able to offer suggestions and answer my questions, as well as tailor our dance music based on our guests and vibes. He realized during our reception that we hadn't picked any song for our cake cutting and quickly came up to us to figure out a song we could play. We appreciate the overall flexibility he offered as well - we made multiple last-minute changes to songs (reception entrances and father/daughter dance) and they were all made seamlessly.

Everyone had a great time and even people I did not expect would dance, ended up on the dance floor! He listened to us when we outlined our favorite music and several people commented on the great playlist. A great DJ is a must for your wedding, and we really found that here!

  Our guests loved DJ Welvin!

  We know what music we like to listen to, and DJ Welvin helped us build an indie rock playlist that our guests could dance to! DJ Welvin is good at his craft but also great at making sure his couples feel represented by the music. He had the smoothest transition between the most eclectic songs (including the anime opening themes we requested lol). We had a blast working with him!
