Nancy and BobbyJo were positively amazing people to work with! They answered my call in my time of need when I had a terrible experience with the original hair/makeup team that I hired 6 months prior. With only 2 months to my wedding, I was nervous I wouldn't find anyone qualified who was available, and nervous about having a bad experience again. My fears were put to rest though when I had my trial and felt SO welcomed by these two women and their families! The trial was peaceful, and efficient. Everything was done just as I asked, and the quality was beyond my expectations! On the day of the wedding, they were a calming presence in a busy room, and fun personalities to be around. Their work was amazing; each bridesmaid wanted a different hairstyle and BobbyJo delivered! I had never had an updo stay in my hair all night, but my wedding hair style made it though the night! Both hair and makeup made me look like me, but a beautiful me! These women also traveled 2-3 hours to get to me! In short, they are wonderful people, excellent stylists, and a highly recommended vendor for your wedding day! -

Nancy and Bobbi-Jo were so wonderful to work with for my wedding. Both were adamant that I be satisfied with the look I was given for the day, and they were more than flexible in making any changes I requested. We did a practice run for both hair and makeup well in advance, which was very helpful for me since I really didn't know what exactly I wanted. On the day of my wedding, they came to me to do the hair and makeup for me and my wedding party. It was so comfortable working with them, and they turned the morning into a relaxing and fun start to the day. I would highly recommend Nancy and Bobbi-Jo for any event! -

Nancy is amazing! It is like having one of your friends do your makeup. She made me feel comfortable and completely understood my style. Nancy was open to questions and feedback. Nancy and her staff did a wonderful job on your wedding party's hair and make up. They listened to what each individual wanted for natural looking make up. It was very convenient since they came to the house and was able to fit everyone is as scheduled. The hair and makeup lasted throughout the wedding and the reception. We would highly recommend their services. -

I would highly recommend Nancy Hathaway and Be Yourself Beauty! They did airbrush makeup and hair for my bridal party and me. I have never felt so beautiful! I’m not someone who wears a lot of makeup so it was important to me that I could still feel like myself on my wedding day. Nancy listened closely to this, took feedback during my makeup trial, and did a great job!! She is so sweet and kind, I loved working with her. I also loved how Ivette did my hair! She was able to take the very vague idea I had and work her magic to construct the exact updo I wanted! My bridesmaids loved their hair and makeup as well!! -

Nancy and her girls are fantastic. I have difficult skin to work with but on my wedding day I was flawless! Bobbi Jo was able to create my hair exactly how I wanted it. I felt beautiful! I would highly recommend Nancy to any bride. -

Very personable, it felt like a friend was doing my makeup. She even helped me lace my dress when my maid of honor couldn't figure it out. She handled every mishap and turned it out to be amazing. She took away all the stress. If I need makeup I won't go anywhere else! -

Nancy was FANTASTIC and is also just the sweetest woman!! She is an extremely talented professional and wonderful to work with. She has a lovely style and focuses on creating a natural, beautiful look...I truly felt beautiful the whole day through and my makeup totally stayed in place despite my tears of joy throughout the day! Leading up to the day, everything went very smoothly - she is very responsive and I felt very much at ease with her throughout the process. The name says it all: Be Yourself Beauty. Nancy was great from consultation through day of the wedding. She actually came up the wedding location & did our make-up on site. FABULOUS option!!
A snapshot of our little of our make-over adventure: My now hubby was concerned about his daughters having their make-up professionally done; he didn't want them to be "all made-up". I literally had to kick him out while the girls were getting their make-up done and when he finally did get to see them; he couldn't have been more pleased. They looked beautiful; all their natural beauty high-lighted just right! I was the most excited to see my Mom. My Mom wears very little make-up; and she doesn't wear foundation at all, but I knew for pictures she would need full make-up. My Mom looked so fantastic, I almost cried! Nancy chose just the right colors for my Mom's complexion & hair color; I couldn't believe how naturally beautiful she looked! As the bride, I got to go last and even down to crunch time I was making adjustments to the eyeliner color and Nancy was more than accommodating. I couldn't have been more pleased with my look and I couldn't have done it without Nancy! Of course the hubby had the same concern regarding my make-up; he said to me; I want to marry the Deb I know, so I hope you're going to look like yourself after this make-over & I did; only BETTER! He almost cried!

Nancy Hathaway did my makeup for my wedding 6/25/11. When I first met with her for a trial run, I couldn't decide what I wanted. Nancy did half my face with traditional makeup and the other half air brushed (which I have never had). I chose the airbrush it looked perfect on my other than perfect skin. She came to my hotel room and did her magic, I looked and felt beautiful on my wedding day, she did a great job and was genuinely happy to be in the moment with me. I would highly recommend her for any of your special events. You will look and feel gorgeous and sometimes we owe it to ourselves. -

Our makeup looked so natural and pretty - I truly felt 100% comfortable walking down the aisle, which is amazing since I am not used to wearing much makeup. During my trail, they took the time to understand what I felt comfortable with then they worked their magic! so I looked beautiful for my wedding!! I had an amazing airbrush make up that was natural, simple and elegant. My hairdo was very classy. Both lasted for the entire evening!

Nancy and Bobbi Jo did such a wonderful job for our wedding. Bonnie felt very comfortable and natural in her make-up and I felt like a princess. They were so gracious to our bridal party and we had a great time getting ready.
This was a destination wedding for us, and Nancy was incredibly flexible in scheduling our trial. I felt like they really listened to us and made changes based on our feedback. It was clear that they wanted us to feel comfortable and to have the look we wanted.
Our hair and make-up photographed beautifully. My hair is very fine and tends to lose its shape quickly, but as promised I still had curls at the end of the day. Our make-up survived the tears, hugs, and dancing.

I am the Mom of the Bride, my daughter was married on 6/13/10. Let me tell you a little bit about Bobbi Jo of BeYourselfBeauty. She also arrived very early in the a.m., along with Nancy to insure that we were ready for the 3pm ceremony. Bobbi Jo has the most incredible upbeat, fun loving & glowing personality. She is extroidinary as a Hair Stylist and a special person. She & Nancy were more than happy to accommodate us by coming to the Bride, Myself & the Bridal party at the hotel we were staying at. For a few of us, we did not know what exactly to do with our hair or some had an idea but didn't know how to create it, so we put our hair & trust in Bobbi Jo. In knowing us & our personalities for such a short time, she transformed our hair into beautiful elegant Styles, all to which complimented each girls personalities. She knew just what style to give us in a matter of minutes. Bobbi Jo gave detailed attention & spent the time on each of us until we were perfect. She, as well as Nancy,took on the role of keeping us calm and made our experience fun & enjoyable.
The whole wedding party loved her. We invited her to the reception along with Nancy so she could be part of our special day and have a good time with us.
Bobbi Jo made my daughter & I feel like we have known her forever..& we are honored to call her our friend.
I highly recommend BeYourselfBeauty, your special day would not be complete without Bobbi Jo & her gift & imagination of creating incredible hair styles!!!
Because of our wonderful experience with her, My daughter & I & a coupe of the Bridesmaids, will be driving an hour in order to have Bobbi Jo as our new hair stylist for our hair cuts, colors & perms, as well as any future updo's!!!

First off I need to say that Nancy and Bobbi-Jo deserve more than just 5 star rating. Brides the way you look and feel is extremely important on your wedding day, because it is YOUR DAY and no one elses. that is exactly how this team operates.. I did my research before finding these two amazing women. someplaces you look you find the right price, other places you will find the hair but not the make up or you wont click with the stylists. WELL BRIDES LOOK NO FURTHER NANCY and BOBBI-JO ARE TOP NOTCH. with them you have it all great hair, great makeup and great chemsitry with your vendors.. they are so down to earth and friendly that you forget they are just a vendor and you feel more like a friend with them..with Nancy and Bobbi- Jo i felt at ease i found everything i wanted for my day with them when my nerves were thru the roof they brought be back to earth. when i first went for my trail appt and didnt know what i was envisioning i had too much on my brain and not enuf decided i told the ladies what i was looking for and they created without a doubt exactly what i was looking for.. they helped make my wedding day perfect i truely felt like the princess in a fairytale on my wedding. so much now that i have decided to begin traveling over an hour just to have Bobby jo be my regular hair stylist.. Nancy and Bobbi-Jo are THE make-up/hair duo you'd want for your wedding. I highly recommend them to any bride and bridal party in the area. I did a TON of research before choosing this duo and was so extremely well pleased. They made me FEEL like a bride (ladies - this means a lot on your actual wedding day).
The convenience of having BOTH the make-up and hair together done at your location of choice was a huge benefit - no having to waste time driving around and risk messing up your hair/makeup.
The quality of both make-up/hair was exceptional for myself and my bridal party - my mom who never wears make-up looked fabulous (10 years younger, even).
The value was the best from what I researched as well (saving money but still looking so beautiful felt great).
Regarding responsiveness, Nancy was always on top of things, very reliable, I had no worries.
And the best part... was that on my wedding day I felt like I was with FRIENDS and not some distant professional. Nancy and Bobbi-Jo were so warm, so sweet, so friendly. We were laughing and having a great time getting to know each other while they were preparing me for the most blessed day of my life.
Again, ladies, I did the research, they're the best out there. You'll only love your experience and the way they'll enhance your natural beauty. God bless you on your journey through life united always your best friend and soul mate! God bless your marriage!!!

Nancy did my wedding make-up for me, my bridesmaids, and my mother. She was great! I did a trial with her first several months before the wedding and she spent alot of time to make sure she got the look right. She also took notes and pictures of what she did so that she was prepared for the actual "big day." I don't wear alot of make-up, and she didn't make me look like someone I wasn't.
I loved the make-up the day of the wedding. She came to my house on time. All my bridesmaids made comments about how she was very detail-oriented. Also, she would take pictures with her camera to make sure that the make-up was going to photograph well. My mom really liked her make-up and alot of her friends comment on how good she looked.
I loved my make-up and wish that Nancy could come do it everyday for me! I would highly reccomend her (in fact, I'm trying to convince a friend to book her for her July wedding!)

My daughter, Jaime-Anne, and I went for a make-up & hairstyle trial six months prior to her wedding. Nancy was so easy to talk to and really listened to what we were looking for. Following the trial, we were both so impressed with her services that we signed the contract that day. On the day of the wedding, Nancy and Bobbi-Jo, the hair stylist, arrived promptly and set up quickly. They provided services for 5 bridesmaids, grandmother of the groom, mother of the bride and groom and, of course, the bride. To say they did an excellent job would be an understatement. They were very professional, flexible, and calming. We were all 100% satisfied. Even though the day was quite muggy, the makeup stayed on beautifully all night. I would unequivocally recommend them to all of my friends. They truly are artists! -

Nancy Hathaway-Hopoweic did the make-up for my wedding. I decided that I wanted to get my make-up done about two weeks before my wedding. I knew it was going to be hard to find someone on such short notice, so I started calling around. I saw Nancy's website and was impressed with the pictures I saw, so I thought I'd give her a call. She responded immediately to my call of distress and rearranged her schedule to be able to do my make-up on my wedding day. She had another client booked later on the same day, but she worked things out where she would be able to come to my house and do my make-up. Even though I wasn't her only client of the day she still made me feel like she was there for me and wasn't going to leave until I was happy with everything. She took pictures that day to make sure I was happy with the way it would look on camera. She gave me some extra lip gloss and make-up she used so that I could touch up if I needed to throughout the day. I got so many compliments about my make-up and it was so light that I didn't even feel it during the day. It also stayed on and looked good for the entire wedding. My ceremony was at 1 and the reception was at 7 so it was a long day and I didn't have to worry about the make-up at all. We had also scheduled a trial before the wedding day and she took pictures in different light then too to show how the make-up would look. I would highly recommend Nancy's service. She is professional and really cares about each of her clients. -

Nancy absolutely saved me on my wedding day! My previous makeup and hair stylist canceled on my 5 days before my wedding due to a death in the family and I didn't know where to go! I saw her website and her pictures showed her "magic" so I figured it wouldn't hurt to call. Not only was she available and willing to do my makeup for my wedding day but she found me a hair stylist that would also style my hair & my 2 daughters' hair in just 5 days notice! I looked and felt beautiful! and I never say that about myself when I see myself in pictures! but I did! Thank you so much Nancy & Bobbie Joe!
I would recommend them to EVERYONE! THEY WORK MAGIC! -

Choosing a make-up artist for your wedding day is an important decision - you want to obviously look beautiful (in person and in pictures!) but also want to choose someone who will add to the experience of one of the most memorable days of your life. I chose Nancy after seeing the before and after pictures on her website and talking with her on the phone. From our first conversation, I was impressed by her professional, caring and very calm personality. She was very flexible when I wanted to make last-minute changes to my make-up.
On the morning of my wedding she arrived at my apartment to do my make-up and one of my bridesmaid's. Nancy was a very calming influence on what could be a stressful day. She put me at ease with her professional nature and competence. She was absolutely wonderful. She obviously takes great pride in her work and was meticulous. My make-up looked great - in person and in pictures and I received a lot of compliments. I would highly recommend Nancy's services to any bride-to-be!!! -

Nancy is a gifted make-up artist and so reasonably priced, approachable and wonderful to work with. She met with me first for a trial make-up session. I was especially impressed with the way she really listened to my thoughts and preferences as I like a natural look. Using her expertise based on my preferences, she made magic! In addition, Nancy has a special quality about her that is very soothing. She radiates peace and calm. On my wedding day, Nancy's talents made me feel beautiful and her inner peace put me at ease. Nancy took the time to consult with me before the actual wedding day, she tried many different make up looks, and photographed them so we could decide what looked best. She was in constant communication with me, and takes great pride in her work. She even met the wedding party at our hotel the day of the wedding, and made use of that space to get all of the girl's make up done. She was very conscientious, and made sure everyone was happy with their look before moving on to the next girl. She did a wonderful job, and even helped me to cover up some unexpected blemishes that came up that day, so they were barely (if at all) noticeable. We got SO many compliments on our make up! I would absolutely recommend Nancy to anyone looking for a professional, and very personable make up artist! -

I was very happy with my look on my wedding day. I don't normally wear a lot of make-up, and I wanted to make sure that I still looked like myself in my wedding photos.
