Best choice I made for my wedding day!

Looking back on my wedding day this was the best choice I made planning wise. The day become a blur with all the things and excitement. Daniel and his team captured the small things that mean the most and put it into a video I will cherish forever. I think that videography is something couples may choose to cure due to budget DONT DO IT. This video has been and will continue to be one of my favorite ways to look back on and show others my wedding day. Better Tie made a video that represents us and captured the day in a real and genuine way that I did not know was possible. I recommend him to anyone and cannot fully put into words the amazing work that he did!

We are so happy we found Daniel of Better Tie Productions to video our daughter's wedding!

Daniel created an amazing video of our daughter's wedding that perfectly captured the love between my daughter and son-in-law. Working with Daniel was great! He was always quick to respond to questions and was great at dealing with the stress that can occur with a large wedding. Daniel and Better Tie Productions was definitely one of our best chosen vendors. His work is absolutely beautiful and the video is something we will always cherish. Best Memories Ever

Daniel and his brother did an phenomenal job with our wedding video. The way they managed to take a 12 hour day and whittle it down to just over 6 minutes is amazing! The video had the same vibes as the wedding day: emotional at the start, party at the end. I can't recommend with team enough!!

Wonderful Experience!

I absolutely loved working with Daniel and his team. They are thorough and genuinely care about what they are doing. The video is amazing and has made everyone who’s seen it both laugh and cry which is ideal for a wedding video, right? And the pictures are amazing!

Better tie, absoluutely amazing!

Better Tie Photo and Video is flipping amazing! Daniel is truly magical! Being from NJ and my daughter getting married in Asheville, we were going into finding vendors totally blind. We did a lot of research, and after speaking with Daniel, we knew we wanted him to be the one to capture all the special and magical moments of our daughters wedding. The video was more then we ever could have imagined! The editing and music perfectly captured the special moments, the fun moments and mostly the hilarious moments! We had only opted for the original package, but after seeing the video, immediately reached out to Daniel to purchase all the footage, ceremony, 1st dances, and speeches. And the video album is priceless! We would highly recommend Better Tie! OH and did we mention Daniel is AMAZING!!!! THE ROSSOMANDO FAMILY

Better Tie is wonderful!

The owner, Daniel Yopp, was hands-on, handling all communication with us. He was super responsive, and his video of the wedding ceremony was more than we ever could have hoped for. Not only is his work superb; he is a delightful individual. The video is getting rave reviews from our family and friends!

Video Perfection

Better Tie Productions was the perfect fit for our wedding video. This was my first time using a videographer and my husband and I were not sure how we wanted our video to look. Daniel was unbelievable from day 1! He gave us so many different options and took what we wanted and made the best video. We honestly watched it and could not believe what he was able to do. Every important part of the wedding was captured and so seamless like it was an actual short movie. If you are looking for an amazing videographer who can turn your imagination to something beautiful, Better Tie Productions is for you.

Absolutely Amazing!

Daniel was incredible during the whole process! He responded in a timely manner and was professional as well as eager to help! I could tell he genuinely loves what he does and that also shows in his art. He went above and beyond my expectations. The video of my sisters wedding ceremony was beautifully put together. So amazing!!

We could not have asked for a better videographer to capture our day! Daniel and his brother went above and beyond during the entire process - from getting to know us over drinks before the wedding craziness hit, to delivering our highlight video earlier than we expected! I wanted a high-quality video and quickly ruled out other videographers before coming across Daniel. I was blown away by the footage he captured and the value of the packages offered. On the day of our wedding he was professional and unobtrusive, working seamlessly alongside my photographer to capture what he needed at the same time. Sitting down to watch the final product instantly brought back all of the feelings and excitement from our wedding day! While I will always cherish our beautiful wedding photos, it is priceless to have our voices and the other sounds of that day recorded forever. I know that a wedding video can be one of the first cuts to a wedding budget, but I am so thankful for Daniel and his team for preserving our memories!!

The absolute best wedding decision i made

Of all the tedious details needed to make a wedding happen: venue, music, reception, food, flowers, etc., the greatest decision we made was to allocate the money and make the decision to hire Better Tie Photo & Video to be a part of our special day. We had a tight timeline from the start, 8 weeks, and Daniel Yopp with his team did nothing but excel in preparations prior to the day, as well as on the day of. By the wedding day, the team had our expectations understood with photo and video style, detailed in the exorbitant amount of family photos and knew the intricacies of the timeline for the day. His team was on point, making transitions flow smoothly as if I had always had a wedding planner present to tell me when and where to be with what to do.
What did we get? We left with the most well recorded and precious memories of our special day. The photography was more beautiful than we could have ever imagined and the videography done so well to capture the essence of the day. Our wedding venue looked out over a beautiful cliff, but rain and fog did not cease on the day of and the gorgeous scenic views were lost, but the Better Tie team has the passion and finesse in capturing beauty in an unexpected way. Looking at the photos and video, we were more thankful for the fog and rain and were stunned to have said so.

Everything we were looking for

Naturally, one of the hardest decisions when planning a wedding could be the photographer. How will they capture our day? Will they be hard to work with? Will they capture the things that really matter? All of these concerns were put at ease the moment we chose Better Tie Productions. From the first day that we met and through each discussion about our wedding, everything was made simple and easy for us to handle. The day of the wedding had its own hiccups, but none were because of or related to the photography. From the bride and groom’s perspective, Daniel and Elisha captured all of our favorite moments so well. The first look was made to be so special. The herding of people for family pictures was efficient. And the unexpected detail pictures made reviewing our wedding activities even more fun. They went above and beyond to cover things that we didn’t even know were happening. We are so grateful to have had their experience and touch on the memories we will carry for a lifetime. Daniel and Elisha were amazing!!! Could not have asked for better videographer/photographers. They captured so many special moments without me ever feeling like they were in the way. I had photography and videography , best decision I made! My husband didn’t want to bother with video, he said “ we don’t need that.” I told him “we are going to do it.” we got it back and he loved it! He came home one evening and said “ I’m really glad we did the video, I just love it and watch it all the time!” I looked at him and said,” and you didn’t want the video!” The pictures are beautiful and I love my video. I’m so happy I got such a great team to help capture everything on our special day! Thank you guys!!!!
Also they really make you feel comfortable and have fun while shooting. It went so fast, my husband liked that :)

I went back and forth on doing a wedding video, but boy am I glad I did, and chose Better Tie Productions!! Daniel was so helpful and responsive during the whole planning process. He captured such special moments that my husband and I will forever cherish. I am so happy to have video of these once in a lifetime moments, my precious dog (who Daniel was happy to work with :) ) getting ready with me and my bridesmaids, all the wonderful wedding moments including dancing with my dad, and my personal favorite, my husband dancing! He was pretty composed most of the wedding, but let loose to dance in a circle of guests. I AM SOOO happy this was captured on film... without Better Tie it wouldn't have been! The photos just didn't do it justice, but the video sure did :) Not only do we have a beautiful highlight video and ceremony video, but we all have ALL the raw footage form the day. From my research, they were the only ones to offer this. My husband and I watched our wedding video 5 times in a row after we got it. The music and feel of the video represented us so well, we couldn't be more pleased! It was so amazing to relive those moments, and see some parts of our wedding that we missed due to the craziness of the day. I would definitely have regretted not doing a wedding video, and am so thankful I chose Better Tie. I highly recommend them. Thank you!

I honestly don't even know where to begin! Daniel and better tie productions went above and beyond with our wedding highlight video and I could not be more pleased! My husband and I are so glad that we decided to use Better Tie Productions for our photography and videography services! Hands down they were the most accommodating vendor we dealt with for our wedding. They captured every little detail and every special part of the day. The team was a joy to be around and kept the wedding party laughing. We received our photos and video much sooner than we expected and thoroughly enjoyed going back and reliving our wedding day. They did a great job learning what was important to us, and what we wanted to remember most about that day. We used Better Tie for our wedding video & uplighting. Daniel was AMAZING to work with! He was so professional and made us feel so comfortable throughout the entire planning process. He even met with again a couple weeks before the wedding so that we could test out every color of uplighting, to ensure we had the perfect custom shade for our reception. When our daughter asked us about hiring a videographer for her wedding, I was hesitant because I was concerned we'd feel "on camera" before and during the wedding and lose opportunities for private moments. I half-heartedly checked on a few options, but didn't follow through. A few weeks before the wedding, the subject came up again. In an online search, Better Tie Productions appeared with over thirty positive reviews, so I contacted Daniel. He reassured me about my concerns and did an excellent job capturing precious moments from the wedding and reception. I'm so thankful for Daniel's perceptive and skilled documentation of this special day. He is a gifted professional and we are so glad we chose Better Tie.

Better Tie was HANDS DOWN the best decision we made for our wedding! Rewind about two months prior to the wedding, I had almost every detail locked down and was trying to decide if I wanted to hire a videographer. We were down to the last few $$$ of our budget and I was concerned if we hired someone, it would have to be the cheap package that would look no better than a VHS home video. THANKFULLY I stumbled upon Better Tie's website and was mesmerized by their videos and knew immediately I wanted them to capture our day. I emailed Daniel and was blown away by his responsiveness, friendliness, and willingness to work within our budget. We opted for the Loosened Tie package and what we received in return was above and beyond our wildest expectations. The Better Tie duo is extremely professional and captured every important aspect of our day flawlessly. We were so impressed by their creatively and their ability to remain virtually "unnoticed" during the ceremony and reception, yet their video portrayed a front row view of every moment. Speaking as someone who was "skeptical" about whether or not we would want a wedding video, I can say without a doubt using Better Tie was the BEST decision we made! Do yourself a HUGE favor and do the same, you will be so happy you did because there is no comparison to Better Tie and the quality of work you will receive. Thanks again, guys!

I am a Wedding Coordinator finally the bride and when it came to selecting a Photographer who is professional and can work with another Videographer, they were hands down my first choice and boy did they deliver. They were so professional and quick when it came to taking my Bridal Portraits & Wedding Photos, coming out before to scope the place out so we wouldn't waste time or loose daylight when the big day came. Daniel did our photography, videography and lighting. He was amazing!! The pictures are stunning and the lighting made the wedding magical. We used Better Tie Productions for our first daughters wedding, so there was no doubt that we would use him again for the next wedding. Video showed every aspect of the wedding from beginning to end.
Daniel and his team are great to work with. We took their advice and are not sorry that we did. The night was beautiful, perfect, amazing and enchanting. Our guest say they have never seen a more beautiful wedding!!!!

When our wedding planner set us up with Daniel and Better Tie Productions she said we wouldn't be disappointed. She was absolutely right.
Daniel was meticulous in his planning. Our engagement pictures gave us an idea of what the wedding shots would look like. Daniel put together a wonderful save the date magnet out of one of the engagement photos.
The day of the wedding Daniel and his team clearly scouted the area and found great places for the groomsmen and bridesmaids to take their pictures. The candid shots from the ceremony and reception were breathtaking.
Better Tie also took care of the lighting at the reception which added a unique touch of the class to it all.
Daniel's photos were easily accessible online and we were easily able to choose our favorites. We had trouble choosing because they were all excellent. We settled on just under 100 for the leather album Daniel put together.
If you are getting married in the Upstate my husband Adam and I highly recommend Better Tie Productions.
Thanks Daniel! We couldn't have done it without you.

Daniel and Elisha Yopp were hands down the most professional, enthusiastic, warm, funny, friendly, caring people I had the pleasure of dealing with while planning our daughter's June wedding. They were available to meet and discuss our needs and answer any questions. They EXCEEDED my expectations. The bridal portrait session was a blast and the wedding even better. I was absolutely amazed at how professional this company is. The video was creative and artistic and flowed seamlessly. I did not even notice them at the wedding at all. They set up independently and were not intrusive with filming and yet they were able to capture so much. I really enjoyed watching the video and seeing how much fun my guest were having. The color quality and finished product looked amazing. They also answered all of my questions and responding to any messages I left them immediately. It was so easy to work with this company. I would recommend them to anyone needing a videographer.

Wow, I don't even know where to start. Daniel & his crew were amazing. From engagement pictures, bridal portraits all the way to the wedding and every part of the wedding they were flawless and everything went so smooth. They made sure that what I wanted was exactly what I got! I have never cried and cried over pictures and videos but they were stunning! We searched and searched for a videographer and almost gave up, but were so glad they did our pictures and video. The video was like a motion picture, I have never seen anything like it in my whole life!! I can't say thank you enough to Daniel & Better Tie Productions! If you need a photographer or videographer DO NOT hesitate let them be a part of your big day!! Thank you thank you so much again guys, ya'll were AMAZING!!

Daniel and Company were great to work with in every aspect of the wedding. Daniel spent much time and
energy with our daughter before the wedding making sure he knew exactly what she expected and what
her wishes were for her special day.
We have had such a tough time deciding on which pictures to purchase since all of them are so wonderful.
On the wedding day, Daniel and Company were the hardest working photographers we have ever met.
All of the gang was so fun to work with and made our day memorable.
We definitely recommend BetterTie to anyone looking for a photographer or videographer.

We had a completely positive experience working with the Yopps. The video they provided of the wedding is a wonderful keepsake. The DVD Cover has our favorite photo as a backdrop, and the "credits" are fun. I just love how our processional music plays in the background on the "Menu" screen. The video itself is beautiful, clear quality and captures every important moment. We also had a video made of our "story" and the Yopps were so kind to accommodate all the detailed requests we threw their way (we were looking for certain styles of music for the background, and they were very helpful with their knowledge and expertise). Their sense of humor is also an asset, as it helped them catch and edit lighthearted and humorous moments as well. The Yopps also did a wonderful job with our photos. They went out of their way to find a place to take photographs that matched our wishes, and was still doable (close location, availability, etc). On the wedding day it was clear that they were well organized and prepared, and they kept us on a very tight schedule to make sure we got all the shots we had requested. The photos are beautiful; they caught sweet candid moments, and had great ideas for creative poses. They also thought 'on their feet.' For example, when they spotted my little flower girl helping to carry my train around, they caught this cute moment on film and others like it. We highly recommend the Yopps for both videography and photography.

Daniel is one of the best decisions you could make to do the videography for your wedding. He felt like a member of the family by the end of the process. Daniel has a great eye and really put together a product that we are really really happy with. His team was professional and got all the shots that really make us able to live our day time and time again. You can tell he puts in a great amount of effort into the editing process. His work really made a big difference in our final product. I felt making decisions on vendors was very difficult. However this is one you do not have to worry about. Take it from me, pick Daniel!

Daniel & Elisha at Better Tie were the perfect fit for our wedding photo/videography! Their creative eye definitely shows in all of their work, and the quality is above average! Their silly personalities make the shoots even better, but they are very serious about their work ethic when the time comes! They know what they're doing, are very educated in it, and it shows! Daniel was absolutely wonderful to work with. He was extremely flexible with my husband and I. Neither of us really enjoy our picture being taken and he made the event "pain free" for us. He was very flexible in reducing the number of posed shots (at our request) and took a lot of candid photographs. After looking at the finished product, I couldn't be happier at the results. Admittingly, I am not a very photogenic person...and this is one of the first times I have been pleased with a picture that has been taken. He did such an incredible job! He and his staff were wonderful to work with...professional, easy going, on time, great value. I really couldn't have asked for a better photographer.

At the beginning of our wedding planning process, I had been so close to almost booking another videographer that we thought always produced excellent videos. This was a company out of state that was going to be extremely expensive for us....but I knew I wanted a quality video. After some more thinking though, I decided that it wasn't worth it to me to spend that much money, and I started to research local companies....that's when I found Daniel Yopp and Better Tie Productions. Better Tie's prices were under 1/2 the cost of our original videographer, and we really liked their samples...but thought we might be sacrificing a little bit of quality since the price was so much less. We were SO wrong! EVERYTHING about Better Tie was done with excellence. Not only did we LOVE working with Daniel and getting to know him, but our video exceeeded our expectations in every way...and we believe that the quality was WAY better than what we would have gotten with the first videographer that we would have paid twice as much for. So many people at our wedding were shocked that we had a video crew of 3 people because no one even noticed them....which is a great thing! They were able to capture the entire wedding day with excellence and creativity without being in the way of the flow of events. The Better Tie crew was professional, super nice, and went above & beyond to make sure we were happy.I am really picky about videos, so I was pretty nervous at the thought of what our video would end up being like. I have absolutely zero complaints though...and I have looked at videographers all over SC, and I'm pretty sure that Better Tie is the top of the line! Daniel was always quick to respond to us and made sure to tailor our video to our preferences and desired style....and we could NOT be happier! His team worked very well with our photographer as well which is really important. I would and will recommend Better Tie to anyone! The crew is so kind, professional, and our wedding video was AMAZING!

In preparation for our wedding reception my husband and I perused many wedding magazines- what stood out to us was that the most interesting and warm looking receptions came alive by the addtion of professional lighting. Our wedding planner recommended Better Tie Productions in Greenville, South Carolina. It was one of the best recommendations we could of received during our wedding planning. Daniel Yopp made our reception memorable to all that attended with uplighting, wall monogram, highlighting our cake and dance floor. Daniel Yopp and his crew with Better Tie Productions bent over backwards to accomodate both myself and new husband as well as my parents who were paying for everything. They have been nothing but a joy and an honor to work with; Daniel especially has a true gift for artistic, candid, and unique photography, not to mention his crews' abilities. Daniel with Better Tie Video was amazing to work with! I found out about them through the Wedding Festival in Greenville at the Carolina First Center. I was provided with samples of their work and after sobbing over a wedding where I had know idea who the bride or groom was I knew they were the videographers for me. Not only were they very laid back like my other vendors (which makes for very plesant times) but they were also fun and they produced an amazing video which my husband and I will cherish for ever!! We decided late into wedding planning that we wanted to hire a videographer. I contacted Daniel at Better Tie Productions after seeing some of his sample videos, and crossed my fingers that he had our date open. Our date was actually his only open date, so we hired him and never looked back. He was absolutely wonderful to work with. He made sure he knew exactly what we wanted, and was super flexible when the timing on the actual wedding day was a little off. He was very professional during the ceremony and reception, I hardly even noticed he was there (that's a good thing!) It was hard waiting for the actual trailer and DVD, but it was well worth it! The trailer was breathtaking, and I have watched it over, and over again! My husband and I sat down to watch the whole DVD a few nights ago, and we were speechless afterwards. It was so neat to be able to relive our special day. Many special moments were missed by us because we were so busy, but Daniel captured everything and we were able to watch it as if nothing was missed. The quality of the video is so amazing and I could definitely tell there were hours and hours of hard work put into it. I am so thankful that we used Better Tie, and I would recommend them to any bride and groom who wants to work with a great, talented professional and wants a keepsake video of their wedding day.

Better Tie Productions is the most professional group of people my Wife and I have had the pleasure of working with. The Quality of their work and the results thereafter were equal to their professionalism. We have already referred their services to others. Better Tie did the lighting for my reception venue as well as videography. They were very professional but also a lot of fun to work with and really put us at ease. The quality of their work is way beyond anything else I've seen in the industry and I would recommend them to anyone who's looking to enhance the look of their reception decor as well as anyone wanting to document their big day in something more than photos. I also looove their photography style, it's so modern and edgy yet they manage to keep it very romantic.

If there were 10's I'd go higher! Daniel and his "crew" are by far the BEST kept secret in Greenville. They are truly artists and have an eye for perfection. They are there but you would never know it. We had them both for photography and video and we cannot wait to see the pictures. If my daughters bridal portraits are any indication of perfection then we will be blown away with the video and wedding pictures. My daughter found Daniel at a summer bridal show where the lights went out. From that moment on she cdonnected and no one else came close. I know there is a reason for everything in life....and we are so glad we found Better Tie Productions!

Better Tie was unable to do by wedding because of the date it fell on, but they were able to do my engagement photos as well as a shoot AFTER the wedding. They were on time, professional, fun to work with, and made us feel totally comfortable in front of the camera! The photos came out GREAT. So clear, bright, and fun to look at over and over again. If only I could have had them for my wedding day!

My sister was able to book them for both her photography and videography. I was so jealous of how everything came out from her video to the amazing quality of her photos. And as the maid of honor, I really enjoyed working with them again. Their photography and videography style is creative, artistic, and they get all the important shots.

I HIGHLY recommend these guys (and gal) and hope to use them again in the future!

We searched for a year for a photographer before finding Better Tie at a Wedding Festival. As a graphic designer, I tend to have a high standard for photography - but we also needed to be realistic about our budget and find someone that both my husband-to-be and I were comfortable with. These guys met and exceeded these expectations.

Daniel and Elisha were easy to get along with. They joked around with us and made us feel comfortable. Their photography is excellent-artistic, documentary...exactly what I wanted. They tried very hard to get the picture poses/locations/styles that we requested, including doing night photography AND going in the river to take photos of us in a canoe!

The only reason their responsiveness is rated a tweak lower is because at one point I didn't hear back as quickly as usual. It turned out they had a family emergency--quite a good excuse! Beyond that, they got us our pictures for both our engagement and wedding within the time frame that they had laid out - so no waiting in agony for the shots!

We will miss working with them. I would highly recommend Better Tie!

Daniel and his staff are very professional. You never even know they are there. Until you see the videos. You won't believe it. I wasn't sure I needed a video of our wedding. I have no complaints at all eveything was perfect!!!! There is one thing that I would recommend and my husband is the one that said something. The bridal party coming into the reception it was not on there. That is not a complaint it is just a suggestion. I was more than pleased with my video!!! Great job!!!!!!

So far I am extremely happy with Better Tie Productions. The owner (Daniel Yopp) deals directly with all clients and is very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I loved the personalized interview that was part of our videos even though he made both my husband and I cry during that part :) It was in a good way. My husband specifically commented that Daniel was very professional and he was very impressed. Better Tie is expensive but if our video turns out like I think it will, it will be worth every penny. The only reason I gave a 4.5 out of 5 for quality of service is because it is on a timed basis (i.e. 6 hrs or 9 hrs, or whatever plan you choose) and it will be nearly 3 months after the wedding before we get our video. Still, if I had to shop for a videographer again, I'd choose Better Tie Productions every time!
