  Mike from Better than a DJ was our DJ for our wedding on 6-27-15. Probably the best DJ I've ever come across! I've been in over 8+ weddings and attended double that amount and maybe one other DJ comes maybe close to his service and professionalism! He was always available any time I had a question before the wedding and even on the day of the wedding! He allowed us to create our own playlists and customize our wedding. He even obtained a song selection he didn't have during the wedding for our bouquet and garter toss and was able to obtain it in time - and we didn't even ask for it - it was his idea and it just worked out perfect! For the excellent cost of his services there is no one else I will ever call upon should I ever require another DJ in our lifetime! Highly recommended as Mike as been in this industry for a very, very long time and so many guests at our wedding commented on how wonderful he was and what an excellent job he did!

  Mike was absolutely fabulous as our wedding DJ! He was very reasonably priced, very responsive to my emails and in our meeting, and he was a very down to earth guy who knew how to get the crowd out on the dance floor, both young and old! It was great to see the crowd cheer at certain songs that came on and we all had such a great time! He was also VERY organized and really knows what he is doing. I highly, highly recommend him for any type of event (especially weddings) and wish him continued success!
  
  Oh, I almost forgot to mention -- he also did our ceremony music which was a big plus, the music sounded great and he got all the cues right without incident. Great guy, so very happy with his services, thanks again!

  Our DJ, Mike, was the most pleasant man we could’ve met.
  From the start he was fully invested in our wedding. He has a bright smile that makes you feel good, ideas that let us know he knows what he’s doing. From the start, we trusted him.
  Mike kept in touch with us to make sure he was on track with our music choices. We just knew this was going to be a fun night!
  The wedding ceremony and reception were perfect. He provided great music for the ceremony as our guests were being seated. The reception music was perfect. He did a great job with recognizing when a change of music needed to happen and made sure to play the list of songs we specifically requested (no matter what it was!). My guests enjoyed the music, the dancing, the ability to request songs AND Mike keeping up with the Blackhawks goals.
  It truly was a remarkable night and we would HIGHLY recommend Better Than a Jukebox/Mike for any wedding.

  Ourselves as well as all of our guests absolutely loved our DJ, Mike. Great to work with, absolutely willing to accommodate all of your requests. Very reasonable pricing, and very professional!

  Ken did a great job at my wedding. He had a great list of music and also offered to get anything that he didn't have if we wanted it. He did a wonderful job reading the crowd and picking songs that kept people dancing the whole night. He was very professional and a pleasure to do business with!

  DJ was great! He was very laid back and understanding when I couldn't decide, and changed my songs for intro, cutting the cake, first dance, etc. even when he had to go purchase the specific artist's version of a song for me! He was dressed very professional, and had everything set up and ready to go before I even arrived to the reception. He gaged the audience and played to their tastes VERY well. Everyone had a great time!!!

  My DJ started off my reception by wasting 20 minutes of time trying to get my wedding party's names correct for introduction, even though part of my contract was to have it typed w/phonetic spellings as well. He then got upset when I repeatedly asked him to call me Mrs. ____ instead of my first name. He ate 3 plates worth of food and was drinking alcohol too. He tried to pack up early even though we had extended our contract weeks before hand....I made contact with the company to voice my concern following my honeymoon and it took weeks until I threatened the Better Business Bureau to get a response for a gift certificate for their business the following year!! IT WAS DISASTROUS!!
