Alesia and Gretchen of Bethesda Fine Stationary were an absolute pleasure to work with-they listened, gave me options, and ultimately provided me with the most lovely, unique, and personalized invitations, itinerary, and other wedding paper that I loved. We worked with Gretchen and the team at Bethesda Fine Stationery on our wedding invites and all our other wedding stationery and favors (thank you notes, wedding ceremony programs, personalized napkins, photo match boxes, cups and water bottle labels). They did the most amazing job and were so professional and easy to work with! We loved their designs and were really impressed by their eye for detail and the overall quality of everything. I especially loved the personalized monogram that Gretchen designed for us - we had so many compliments on the day from all of our guests who really loved (and noticed!) all the personal touches. So happy with everything they did and will definitely be going back. Thanks so much again for helping to make our wedding so special!

I used Bethesda Fine Stationary for pretty much all of my paper goods for my May wedding--they were so incredibly kind and took the time to give me exactly what I wanted! Beautiful work and the staff is amazingly responsive and helpful. They will take your vision and make it come true!

Alesia at Bethesda Fine Stationary was absolutely delightful and helped make our vision a reality. The final product was classy elegant and timeless - better than how we envisioned it. She then did a fantastic job with our day of wedding papers like the escort cards. Highly recommend Bethesda Fine Stationary - very reliable, punctual, and have a great selection of design ideas! They’re also very reasonably priced for the high quality of service.

I worked with Alesia to design our wedding invitations. I did not want your standard wedding invitations. Our guests were being invited to a weekend of events. She listened to me and designed the perfect invitation. She also had a brilliant suggestion for the rsvp cards. Everyone who received an invitation could not believe how unique and perfect it was. I do not hesitate in recommending Alesia or Bethesda Fine Stationary.

Bethesda Fine Stationary provided all the invitations and church program for my daughters wedding and our Sunday brunch carrying out a custom theme- they even created a monogram and our brunch invites included a water-colour rendering of our home! The theme was carried through a specialty drink menu, custom cups, custom matchboxes, napkins and other things. The work was so elegant and tasteful ( and extremely good value for the quality). What made this all especially amazing was that we live overseas (in the UK). Gretchen was incredibly professional and kept us on track even given the time difference and distance.
I cannot recommend this company highly enough: I have since used them for my Christmas cards and intend to continue with anything else I might need.

Engraving, printing, custom design -- The results for at least half a dozen projects over the last year have been SUPERB!

Over the last year, I have commissioned or been closely involved with commissioning the following projects at Bethesda Fine Stationery: save-the-date card incorporating original artwork, engraved wedding invitation incorporating original artwork as an envelope liner, rehearsal dinner invitations, place cards and related materials, a Christmas card insert containing wedding photographs, and a custom designed business card. In every instance the results were superb, better than one could possibly have dreamed. Alesia was brilliant at the design elements -- selecting the perfect paper, choosing the perfect font, offering fine recommendations on wording and style, lovingly incorporating Inslee Haynes' brilliant artwork, and finding and tweaking design motifs. Bethesda Fine Stationery is that rare and treasured source for completely professional and exquisitely personal work. I searched the Washington area and beyond for the right company to entrust with the engraving and complicated printing of these projects. Bethesda Fine Stationery is assuredly the best, the absolute best in the business.

Bethesda Fine Stationery is the only place in our area that has top quality staff, product and experience in the finest of engraving invitations! Gretchen was instrumental in size and layout of our yearly Christmas Party invitation. The outcome was perfect, as always. We live Bethesda Fine Stationery!

Alesia was fantastic! We stopped in to meet with her on a Saturday morning and had such a nice time meeting her and discussing unique ideas for our invitation suite. The final product included a water color liner depicting the street where the wedding was held. It was beautiful and so meaningful to us. We worked with BFS for the rest of our paper products, as well as other wedding items with our imprinted monogram. It was an absolute pleasure working with everyone there!

I cannot express enough how wonderful our experience was with BFS in creating our wedding invitation suite. Their timeliness, responsiveness, and the quality of work and the final product were 5 stars across the board. Weddings come with a certain heightened expectation and emotion and we immediately knew we were in good hands working with Alesia, John and the rest of the team at BFS. I highly recommend working with this group on any stationary needs.

I've planned innumerable events over the years and I'm quite certain I've never received such personal and careful attention as I received with Gretchen and Alesia at Bethesda Fine Stationery. Prompt, professional and perfection in quality. The expense was quite reasonable and I'm thrilled with the final product.

Alesia was a delight to work with. i was busy working on a project without much time to put into invitation ideas. She made great suggestions. My wedding is very small. 20 people. I didn't need a lot of invitations, so she helped work out a more affordable solution. We used RSVP postcards instead of notes with extra envelopes. It was a little more than I wanted to pay, but well worth it. My guests have all commented on how beautiful the invitations are. They're happy. I'm happy they have a lovely souvenir. I would pick Bethesda Fine Stationery and Alesia to work with again.

I was referred to Bethesda Fine Stationary to help with a couple printing needs for my wedding. I found this concept on Pinterest to print very large boards as my seating chart - I had no idea if it was possible, but BFS not only delivered, but it was so much better than I could have EVER imagined on my own. Jennifer was fantastic to work with and also helped me fine tune my wedding programs and they came out beautifully. It was so nice to be able to work with a printer in-person and I recommend BFS to help with your wedding paper needs.

Jennifer Farkas, from Bethesda Fine Stationary helped design the most elegant, timeless, classy, sophisticated invitations I have ever seen. I gave her my vision and ideas, and she offered creative suggestions to enhance the beauty of them. She was timely, gave several design examples to choose from, let me review everything before print, and helped our dream become a reality. Loved working with BFS and Alesia!

After a not so good experience with another local vendor, we were so elated and pleased to find Bethesda Fine Stationary. We are so pleased with all of our printed pieces from our recent wedding - all thanks to the amazing team at Bethesda Fine Stationary! From initial concept to the final printed product, we had an amazing time working with Alesia and Gretchen. They helped to bring our initial vision to life, in the form of a custom invitation suite and wedding day accessories (we are still receiving compliments on these pieces nearly six months after the fact!) From the styling of the envelopes, to our program fans, each piece was unique and given so much care. In addition, the printing was absolutely beautiful and preserved my custom watercolor work perfectly. Beyond the final product, we really enjoyed working with Alesia and Gretchen! Their professionalism and expertise with design and printing helped us tremendously. They were an absolute delight to work with and I already plan to return with all of my future printing needs!

Alesia, the illustrator and graphic designer with whom I worked, is tireless in investing time and care in providing the best service possible and creating products infused with artistry. She is simply gifted at what she does! And she does it so personably--Alesia is delightful to work with! We had an outstanding experience planning our daughter's wedding invitations at Bethesda Fine Stationary, which is perfectly named! Bethesda Fine Stationary provided us a variety of options upon are arrival and we ordered the wedding invitation at the end of the first meeting. Their professional staff guided us through the process step by step via E-mail which saved us extra in person meeting time amidst our busy schedules. I hope to place another order in the near future if our son gets married!

I've worked with Print 1 (main print company - Bethesda Fine Stationary is within) for many projects and have always been extremely impressed with their quality, responsiveness and customer service. When I got engaged naturally I reached out to Print 1 for my wedding invitations. I was pleased to hear they have a sister company for personal invitations called Bethesda Fine Stationary. I began working with Gretchen and Alesia right away. They opened the shop early just to meet around my schedule for my mother and I. They asked us about every detail of our wedding before even beginning to talk about look and feel. They first wanted to get to know us. They made us feel welcome, at ease and listened to our thoughts first before inputting their own. After a few weeks of development, time and attention to every detail the invitations came through and were exactly what we were hoping for. They were unique, classic and elegant at the right price. When we picked up our invitations they even put in a small bottle of prosecco to celebrate. Such a nice and thoughtful touch! I cant tell you how many of our guests complimented the invitations once received. I would recommend Gretchen and Alesia to anyone who asks. They were a true joy to work with and can't wait to work with them again for the next big invite.

Jen created beautiful custom wedding invitations and programs, based on a fairly vague vision that I had. She was able to take a simple understanding of my style preferences and create wedding invitations that could not have been more perfect! She was always very responsive and timely, which is valuable to an overwhelmed bride. I have used her services again since my wedding and will surely continue to do so!

Loved working with Gretchen she helped my vision and design one together. They had lots of different card stocks to house from from colors and patterns. And her response time to my emails were very quick. I loved the final product and so did all my guests.

Alesia at Bethesda Fine Stationery was incredibly helpful with the invitation ordering process. She was so on top of things, asking all the right questions along the way and following up as needed. Really made the whole process so much easier and stress-free. Their pricing was also very reasonable compared to some of the other vendors I had considered. I had the pleasure of working with Jennifer from Bethesda Fine stationary for my wedding invitations. I live in Delaware but heard how good she was. I told her what I was thinking and she made a quick sample invitation within a day that was almost perfect! Her expertise, honesty, and creativity was incredible. Working long distance was not a problem at all. She answered every email almost immediately no matter what time of day it was. Jennifer was also willing to work within my budget, and I never felt pressured to upgrade to a higher product. The final invitation was BEAUTIFUL! Truly a fantastic and fun experience. I had the pleasure to work with Bethesda Fine Stationary for my daughter wedding in August 2014. My daughter lives in NY and had very specific requests regarding graphics, fonts, paper stock and colors for the Mass Booklets and a Welcome Cards. Gretchen was able to gather information from me (since the bride was out of town) , while assessing and paying respect the brides style and budget. Gretchen made terrific suggestions based on what she heard, coupled with her experience. Proofs were produced and every detail was addressed! Invitation Printing

We brought designs for wedding invitations and some other paper items for the wedding (menus, table numbers, etc) to Bethesda Fine Stationery and they did a great job! Alesia (who isn't there anymore) recommended beautiful paper for us and the print job looked wonderful. She also caught some spelling errors we hadn't noticed before the printing which I appreciated! When we needed a second order about 10 days before the wedding, they got the job done promptly and beautifully! Would absolutely use again.

I first used them a few years ago for my daughters wedding. They did save the date cards, invitations, custom matches, water bottles, stickers for the cookies, Thank you cards.... Next I used them for a bridal shower for my friends daughter. Had the invites custom designed with a monogram for the couple, matching frosted 16 oz cups ( great cups! they wash and wash on top level of dishwasher)napkins, bridal advice cards, ribbon for the flower vases. Everything was done beautifully, fast and at a good price.Everyone was very happy. I also use them for my Christmas cards and Letterpress social stationery.

I've been working with Gretchen and Alesia at BFS for a few months now on my wedding suite, and they've been amazing! We first met, with my fiancé, to go over the ideas we had about the wedding (colors, weekend schedule, aesthetics, etc). Once they had that info, they pulled books for us to look through and we were able to narrow down what we liked! We ended up liking different parts of about 4 invitation suites. Instead of going through one of the templates, Gretchen and Alesia took what we liked and created a custom suite that we are SO in love with. Not only that, but they have helped come up with a ton of amazing ideas that we will be using throughout our wedding weekend - cute ideas for escort cards, menu cards, bins for "dancing shoes" and more! Plus, Alesia created a stunning, custom map of the island (destination wedding) for us to include in our welcome bags (which they designed and ordered for an amazing price!) Not only have they helped with the wedding items, but we ordered a gorgeous stationery through them for our thank you notes for all of the gifts, shower attendees, etc. that we've needed along the way!! They've made the process so easy and so enjoyable - we would recommend them to anyone!

Alesia was totally organized and responsible for our printing needs . Our son's wedding was in AZ . When the venue event coordinator saw the place cards , she was delighted and said that she had never seen cards with such pretty silhouette icons . Just fantastic .

Alesia at Bethesda Fine Stationery helped me with all of the stationery needs for our wedding! Starting with printing our save the date to our full invitation suite to the thank you notes, it was all done by BFS. I could not be more pleased with how everything turned out. My experience with Bethesda Fine Stationary was so good, I plan to use them for all my future custom printing needs. They were incredibly helpful, easy to work with, and ridiculously accommodating. Even when I walked in off the street desperate for a rush printing on my welcome brochure for out of towners (a complicated job that I needed done in 20 minutes), they took pity on me and did it immediately and beautifully. Alesia, who I worked with on my place cards, was absolutely lovely to deal with and creatively managed to incorporate the design theme of our wedding invitations into the place cards. We were really thrilled with the result. There are quite a few custom printers in Bethesda. And, to be honest, I worked with another one on the addressing of my invitations who did a perfectly good job and was also fairly accommodating. But Bethesda Fine Stationers just seemed to go the extra mile and had a much better operation, more skillful and knowledgeable employees, and provided a much more satisfying experience - indeed, an excellent experience. They earned my highest recommendation.

Alesia was fantastic! We stopped in to meet with her on a Saturday morning and had such a nice time meeting her and discussing unique ideas for our invitation suite. We ordered an entire suite of Gilded Lace for our daughter's wedding. It was absolutely beautiful. The quality of the paper was even greater than I expected, and the service of Bethesda Fine Stationery personnel was excellent -- they were very responsive and their service had a personal touch (not like dealing with robots or computers!). These folks saved my bacon! We had thought we knew where we were getting our invitations and then there was no time. BFS was so quick and understanding that I was in a crunch for time. Overall, I had a great experience with BFS. A few hiccups along the way but in the end, everything worked out great. I originally worked with Jen (no longer there) who created a beautiful invitation suite, completely customized with all my ideas and requests. It was a bit more than I wanted to spend but the experience and quality when I picked them up was SO worth it (who knew you could get so excited about stationary??) Unfortunately, after they were sent out, I learned the wrong ink was used on the reply cards which resulted in them completely rubbing off the return address on to the "additional details" insert of the suite. Many of our guests had to write in the return address and in the end, we never received back about 25 responses (presumably lost in the mail). I brought about 20+ examples to Jeff (the owner) at BFS and he was extremely professional and apologetic. He immediately presented me with solutions to rectify the solution and offered me our programs and seating chart (a large framed "chart") at no cost. These were done beautifully which really makes me think that my situation with the return envelopes was a freak accident. I've been told by Jeff that they've spoken with the printer to ensure that does not happen in the future so nothing to be worried about. I'd definitely recommend BFS not only because their designs are gorgeous but they're just good, upstanding, professional people.

We used Bethesda Fine Stationary to print a design that we already had. They did a great job guiding us through paper, envelope, and ink options and were extremely knowledgeable about all the characteristics of the papers and the reasons why we'd want one over another. In the end, we really felt like we picked exactly the combination that we wanted. My only concern was the timeline. We were somewhat late in getting invites out (our own fault), so we had a tight timeline, but at several steps along the way we wouldn't hear back for a couple days and we had to follow up and ping them to get an update.

I am so glad we used Bethesda Fine Stationary for our invitations and day of papers. Alesia designed our invitation and got our vision on the first try with one of her three designs. She then went on to design our program, menu, gift bag note card, and escort cards. My only caution is that Alesia tends to over promise on deadlines. While we got everything on time, it did take some pushing and persistence to stay on schedule. I'd recommend using a cushioned timeline. Her work is beautiful and I would definitely use Bethesda Fine Stationary again.
