Shawn was incredible! He was SO friendly and professional and not once was the dance floor empty. He perfectly gauges the crowd. We just gave him a slight direction with the type of music we like and he killed it! I would 1000x over choose Shawn for our wedding. I had his biggest package and it was worth every penny. Thank you so much for your crucial role in our perfect day!! -

Absolutely amazing. Wouldn’t recommend anyone else!
Shawn is the wedding DJ you have been searching for! Not only is he attentive to every detail, he brings the party to life. I can’t count how many compliments we recieved after our wedding regarding him. He truly made our special day magical! I am so thankful after my long search of DJ’s that I decided to go with him. If you want your wedding to be on the dance floor all night, CHOOSE SHAWN! Thank you Shawn, our day wouldn’t have been amazing without you!!

I work at Rock Island High School and chaperoned the Homecomg Dance last year. Shawn was the D.J., and did a phenomenal job! The students had so much fun, everyone was dancing, the energy was high. When my son and fiancé were planning their reception, I knew that Shawn was who I wanted to D.J. the reception. Let me tell you, he did not disappoint! We had the best party with our friends and families. Worth every penny. Priceless. -

Shawn completely knocked it out of the park for our wedding. On top of being a great DJ he also went out of his way to make many helpful recommendations to make our day run as smoothly as possible. He kept the flow of the party going and blended all the songs seamlessly. We had so many compliments from our guests on the music and setup, the dance floor was full on all night long. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. These are only our sneak peek pictures, but we couldn't wait for the rest to give Shawn a review. He set the tone for our wedding and made it a memorable evening. -

Shawn was an incredible DJ to work with. He was very dedicated during our wedding planning process. He took the time to help organize not only the music but also the timeline of our big day.
Based off of his experience, enhancing suggestions that he made, really made our wedding an amazing experience.

I cannot say enough about Shawn. Our wedding was the best day ever and he is such a huge piece of our wedding. Shawn was so easy to work with and made it very clear that I could come to him about any concern that I had. Shawn went above and beyond for my husband and I, and he made the night unforgettable. The amount of guests that complimented us on the DJ… I literally lost count!!! Shawn as a person is so kind and wonderful, I’m not sure what else you could ask for in a wedding DJ! He makes it worth your while and I’m proud it say our wedding was literally the party of the year. You are going to want to book him asap so you don’t miss out. He completely understood the assignment!!! He did not miss a beat. The music was amazing, the sound system is amazing, the atmosphere he creates is literally exactly what we had hoped and more. He is amazing. HIGHLY recommend this guy, I would give him 100000000/10 stars if I could! Thank you Shawn so much!!!!! Please book him, he will definitely make your wedding a night you’ll never forget!!! -

Shawn DJ'd our homecoming dance at Rock Island High School this past weekend, and the kids had so much fun! I even overheard a student who didn't go to the dance saying that she wished she had because she heard it was a blast! If any high school advisor is looking for a DJ for a dance, Shawn is your guy. He was so professional, interacted really well with the kids, and requested a song list prior to the dance so he could make sure he had clean versions of the songs kids would want to hear. -

Highly highly highly recommend Best Of Times Entertainment for all you’re DJ-ing desires. One of the most dreaded things for me regarding wedding planning was picking music. He broke it down and made it seem so easy and effortless, it was a huge weight off my shoulders. With Shawn, it was so much easier than I had anticipated and the music was fantastic. Also, one of the most well-rounded people I’ve met; he was open, comfortable, and knowledgeable regarding all different genres, environments, and social groups. He helped me plan everything from an old fashioned, romantic anniversary dance to playing Move B**** for my bouquet toss! 😂 Seriously, such a great asset to have for any event. -

DJ Shawn is awesome!
We are so happy we found Shawn to be our DJ. His pricing is the best around and he made our night so fun! Great sound system, music selection, and lighting to make it a real party feel. He even took some candid photos throughout the night and joined us for the fun line dances. 10/10 would recommend to anyone wanting a quality DJ! -

Absolutely Amazing!
Hands down the best DJ in the area! Shawn was organized , professional, and so personable! He did an excellent job at our wedding this weekend. Kept the bride and groom up to date on everything all night and played great music. Shawn even went out of his way to help me surprise the groom with a special video from his best man who couldn’t attend. I highly recommend his services!! -

Wedding/reception DJ
Shawn was excellent. We had to plan all virtually and it exceeded my expectations. He helped me picked music and gave expectations. great ideas for song choices, including my husband and it's song to walk into the reception (the Michael Jordan Bulls starting lineup song). I have had so many compliments on DJ Shawn from my guests. I would highly recommend him. It was such a fun night. -

We were very pleased! They even went a little extra and beyond to make our experience memorable. Communication was good and if something needed tweaked, it was handled quickly. Best of Times was referred to us and we would definitely refer to others. We know that it takes everything to go right for your special day and your DJ should be one of them. From one of the first ones at your reception to one of the last ones that you see, it was a wonderful day/evening from start to finish. Very pleased and believe that you will be as well :-) -

Shawn is amazing!
Shawn really went above and beyond to make our day run as smoothly as possible! Not only that but he made it so memorable and FUN for my husband and I and all my guests!!! He graciously agreed to make a special mix for my Beyonce style flash mob dance with my bridesmaids AND he offers a really cool "dancing on a cloud" package add on that made us look like professional dancers😂😜 His services were worth EVERY penny! And to think I almost went without a DJ and made my own Spotify playlist 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️ Book Best of Times Entertainment for your wedding or event, will not regret it!!! -

We had Shawn as our DJ for our wedding ceremony and reception at the Waterfront Convention Center. We honestly can’t say enough positive things about him! He is the nicest guy, offers a very reasonable price for his DJ services and equipment, and he will keep your party going till the end of the night! He really cared about what we wanted, accepted every song request, followed our timeline to a T, and made our special day even more memorable. We would definitely recommend, and can honestly say you won’t regret booking Best of Times Entertainment! -

Shawn is the best DJ that takes pride in his work. He adds so any special touches and doesn’t leave and details out, even the smallest ones. His equipment and knowledge of music is off the charts. He will spend hours finding the exact songs you want. He has the biggest heart and is a incredible person, father and husband. He made the nicest picture video for us. He danced and partied and got emotional with us at our 25th vow renewal ceremony. He is an amazing person personally and professionally. I can’t say enough good about him. We danced all night and had a wonderful and memorable night!! We also made a life long friend!

He will cater to all your needs and music wants. He is also very professional and kind and takes his craft very seriously and you can tell he has a certain love for good music!
His wife Renuka is also beyond amazing an awesome party hostess in her own right.
But in all honesty This DJ and his lovely wife are worth the price of admission and more.. you will not be let down!!!!
