Absolutely Amazing!

I worked with Travis and he was incredible! I booked him really far in advance and he was great at making adjustments when my plan changed. He did our ceremony and reception and everything went so smooth. He did all of the picking out of the music for our reception other than a few songs and our dance floor was popping the whole night. When I needed to make some adjustments day of it was no problem. The biggest thing our guests said was that our music was great and the day was so smooth! I would highly recommend him to anyone who is getting married.

Travis was so knowledgeable and helped match our itinerary perfectly. He really took our personalities and crowd into consideration and helped make it everything I’ve ever dreamt about. Travis was great!

Travis was everything we were hoping for in our wedding DJ. He provided excellent recommendations as we havent been through hundreds of events like he has. The sound was great, the music was on point and he is very easy to work with. The last thing you want on your wedding day is a music or electronics hishaps. We will be sure to recommend him to anyone!

You need to hire Travis as your DJ!!!!

Working with Travis was amazing!!! He kept the party going - played what was requested helped add in song to fill any gaps we had. As a wedding planner, I'd definitely want Travis at my next wedding!

Travis was kind, responsive, prompt, flexible and had all the best country tunes playing for my couple's destination wedding in Big Sky! When last minute timeline changes came up, he accommodated and made a smooth transition for the reception! If you're looking for a DJ who you can depend on to do the job and get the party going, you should hire Travis!

best DJ ever!

I am so happy my husband and I found Travis. He took the time to meet with us before the wedding to really understand what we wanted and put our minds at ease. I was told that a DJ can really make or break the wedding! On the wedding day, he helped the reception run so smooth and was able to read the vibe of the room so well. When it came time to dance & party, it was AWESOME!!! everyone had such an amazing time and I know a huge part of that is because of Travis!!!

We love working with Travis!!!

Travis is on it and will rock your wedding reception out!! He met with us in person prior to the wedding and we spoke about our vibe and music taste. He also provided ceremony sound, cocktail hour sound and last minute request for Friday night AV/Sound. Don't look further if you are in and around the Billings, MT area, hire him!

Great DJ Work- individualized and seamless!

Travis did an amazing job with the audio for the ceremony and reception! The transition between songs in the processional was beautiful and Travis handled all of our special requests with ease. The reception and dancing was perfect and we had many people compliment the playlists he was creating. He also announced different events throughout the evening- it was so wonderful having him help create such a wonderful day!

Wonderful DJ

Travis was incredible, very patient with the craziness that comes with weddings and very accommodating and flexible. Best dance party ever, kept the floor filled and left room to catch breath, couldn't have asked for a better DJ.

Travis was really awesome. The music of our ceremony and reception was incredibly important to my husband and I. Music has always been a huge part of our relationship. Travis was so understanding and respectful of this value of ours. I was nervous about the structure of the music and needed to discuss it face to face with Travis. Travis did such an amazing job at our wedding! Our guests raved about him during and after our event. He did a wonderful job reading the crowd on what music to play, keeping the kids involved, and timed everything to the second. He did absolutely everything and more of what was asked of him. Best Music Production - Wedding DJ Travis Kemp

Travis Kemp, Best City Music out of Billings MT, did a great job with our daughter's (only child) 2022 wedding in Red Lodge MT. He came highly recommended by the venue team and other wedding vendors that we selected so we felt very confident with our decision to hire him to act as the MC as well as the DJ.

He is the opposite of the stereotypical hokey wedding DJ (you know the irritating Shooter McGavin type) and was fantastic to work with! He took the selected/requested songs and mixed and timed them perfectly with the ceremony that included four requested processional songs: grandparents/mothers, flower girl, walk by the father of the groom to the father of the bride for the final song/walk. He also played all other requested songs but then gave him full creative control from there and he did not disappoint reading the room to keep the party going.

Keep in mind sound was very important for this ceremony as the bride’s grandmother is in a care facility and was un-able to travel to attend the ceremony in person so Travis worked closely with our videographer to ensure the sound (microphones) were dialed in for the ceremony, blessing and the toasts.

Would we recommend him = YES. Would we hire him again for our daughter’s special day = YES

Thank you so much for everything, I cannot say enough great things about your service, you were phenomenal to work with and we would/will highly recommend you to anyone who is looking for an incredible DJ!! We did not get the chance to talk to you about the set up the day of the ceremony and I was a little nervous about how the music was going to work out, but you had it all set up and ready to roll just like we discussed, I was very impressed and had nothing to worry about!! It was beautiful and exactly what I wanted! Thank you again for sharing our day with us and for making it memorable, we had so much fun!! Book Travis immediately, his service is excellent, very easy to work with and his prices are impeccable! Compared to other DJ services (which I have experienced first hand), he is honestly one of the best!!

Travis is fantastic. So easy to work with. Music is such an essential part of making a wedding extraordinary and our day was top notch! I enjoyed surveying the crowd and watching them singing along with the music Travis provided. He helped us accomplish what we wanted to incorporate into our special day by providing the music that mattered to us most. He had excellent control of the crowd and helped guide our day along with appropriate announcements throughout the wedding. A real team player. He is simply the best. Your DJ can make or break your wedding reception

Have you ever been to a wedding reception where everyone is awkwardly sitting at tables with people they don't know, bored out of their mind hearing the same old music you hear at every wedding?
WELL I FEARED THIS! For me... the music at your wedding reception is one of the most important things and finding the right DJ will make or break that! We wanted our reception to be one where most everyone there is dancing and having a great time celebrating until the hall says we're done. I interviewed 3 DJ's and I could not have been happier with our decision to go with Best Music Productions. We still have people saying our wedding reception was the best night they've had in a long time, and the best wedding reception they have ever gone to. Everyone is talking about how great our DJ was! We wanted some 80's, some 90's, and he nailed it with the music choices. Best decision I made choosing this DJ!!!!

We really enjoyed Travis! I loved how organized things were with Beat Music Productions. Whatever requests I had Travis made sure every last detail was perfect! Communication was definitely the key to a successful reception. Filling out the required paperwork with the order of songs was very helpful for us as we knew how things would go.

My husband and I were planning a destination wedding in Red Lodge, MT (I'm from Southwest Montana, He is from Georgia), so we did most of our planning remotely. Travis was helpful and responsive with all of my requests, and made the whole process so much easier than I expected. Having a good DJ was really important to us, and Travis did not disappoint! I didn't meet Travis until after my ceremony, but everything went seamlessly (ceremony music, microphones, etc.). After our ceremony, we were doing family pictures - it was SO hot out and I was beyond ready to stop taking pictures and go join the happy hour. Some family members were being... obnoxious, to put it kindly... so I was very much reaching the point where I needed to be elsewhere. Travis noticed, came up to me, introduced himself, and asked if I needed a drink. NOT ALL HEROS WEAR CAPES. Not only did he do a fabulous job executing the music for our ceremony/dances, but his music selection for the reception and his lighting was perfect! Travis was attentive, fun, professional, and truly instrumental to helping make our wedding day the day of our dreams. I highly recommend him!

Travis was great to work with from day 1 and I will definitely recommend him to all my friends and family! I had lots of questions prior to the wedding and he was quick to get back with me and share tips about what worked well and what didn't.

We could not have found a better DJ for our wedding. Travis was recommended to us by another wedding vendor in the Billings area as, "the fun, respectful guy you would want your Grandmother to meet" and he was just that. He worked closely with us to finalize music selections for important points of the day and the reception schedule/flow, he was flexible with meeting times (I planned my wedding from Alaska but visited Billings often) and he was literally was worth every penny. There were no issues with the sound system during the ceremony (my biggest fear) and he was able to keep the reception party going until the very end of the night for all ages. Everything about the wedding ceremony and reception flowed smooth and effortlessly. If you are wanting a DJ that you can trust your wedding sound system/reception hosting; Travis with Best Music Productions is your man! And yes, my Grandmother LOVED him too! :)

I think that Travis is the best DJ in Billings! I am so glad we hired him. Travis kept the wedding reception flowing smoothly all night. Once he took over the microphone, I didn't have to worry about a thing. He played music for ALL ages and kept the event fun and exciting all night. He was also very happy to take requests. You will be happy if you hire Travis. He is professional, courteous, and kind! I had many guests give me positive feedback on our choice of DJ. I would certainly hire him again in a minute!

Travis is amazing! He made our wedding day, from the ceremony throughout the entire reception, run unbelievably smooth. He is extremely easy to work with, answering all of my (million) questions and easing our nerves with answers to every "what if" we had. Travis was great! He knew what he was doing and was adaptable to any change. He set up his sound system for our outdoor ceremony and a system for our reception indoors. Travis coordinated with the musicians that played at our wedding and they also enjoyed working with him.

Be sure and let Travis see your personalities when you meet with him so that he can play the right music for your party. We met him once and he was able to play the exact right music for us and our guests without any 'babysitting'!! He was awesome!!!

Best Music DJ services can't be beat! They were super friendly, quick to respond to my calls, and were able to accommodate all my requests. Travis is the best! He was so great to work with. He was great at communicating with us & always responded quickly to my emails & gave us just wanted we wanted. I told him the songs we wanted for the specific things like first dance, but otherwise told him what we liked & his song selection was perfect. His lighting system for the dance floor was awesome! So many guests told us it was the most fun wedding they've been to, & we danced all night long! The DJ is definitely what makes or breaks the reception, & Travis was on point.

Travis was great! We're from Los Angeles, and we planned a destination wedding in Red Lodge. We actually had so much going on with the planning that we didn't get him a bunch of song options til like a day or two before. A lot of them were random indie songs that aren't standard pop songs, and he still played all of them at the wedding! It was perfect. We also had a crazy good time dancing. The final song (We requested "Piano Man") ended in an epic group hug on the dance floor with all our guests. He had the energy up to the very end. He also provided lights and sound equipment so our musician friends could perform at the ceremony and reception. Best day ever, and Travis was big part of it.

Travis was not what we were expecting at all after the good reviews we heard of him. When we talked on the phone with him he wasnt very friendly, which I didn't really think much of until the reception. After he had has us pick out about 200 songs for the wedding, he proceeded to play none of the songs on the list. He didn't even play the right version of our first dance song. After multiple people including myself and my husband asking him to play the songs we wanted him to, he still wouldn't play our songs. He just said he was "playing what the crowd wanted to hear" when the entire crowd was asking him to change the song. I was very disappointed with Travis and I would not reccomend him to anyone.
