Bernwood Catering Co. really went above and beyond to help me put on a great volunteer event! I am in no way an event planner so calling up Chef Ron and having him help guide me through catering options and recommendations based on his experience was extremely helpful. Chef Ron was communicative and really listened to my ideas in order to make the event in my head a reality. Chef Ron helped me with other catering details such as linens and rentals and showed up the day of the event with everything as promised. The entire staff was friendly and professional and set up the room in a very beautiful manner. They prepared a variety of foods and everyone raved about how good the flavors were. They were in and out of the venue on time and ran a very efficient ship. Overall, I would give them a 10/10 and an extra thank you for all of the support!

Chef Ron’s food was fabulous, and I cannot recommend him more. In pre-wedding planning, Chef Ron was very helpful in making decisions (decisive when I needed him to be) and giving me ideas based on his vast experience. As for the day/week of the wedding- Chef Ron and his team were so flexible and I cannot appreciate it more. I got married the week of Hurricane Milton, and even with changes to the venue (as mine cancelled), and numbers (many people could not make it), Chef Ron and his team were calm, organized, and helpful. Everything was perfect: tables, staffing, and of course, the food was spectacular! Our friends and family are still talking about how amazing the food was!Thanks Chef Ron!

We could not have dreamed of a better catering experience for our wedding weekend! Ron and his staff not only catered our wedding but our rehearsal dinner as well! For the rehearsal we had a fish fry and people are still talking about how fresh and perfectly breaded the fish was! It was the perfect Florida fish fry! For our wedding day he really out did himself! The cocktail hour included charcuterie, fresh blackened cilantro fish cups over a bed of tropical rice and avocado, and sesame ahi tuna wonton nachos! Followed up by island salad, juicy prime rib, a honey pineapple ham, roasted veggies, and pasta! Don’t let me forget the delicious cannolis! Every piece of food was down right delightful and the presentation was beautiful! The service was top notch and the entire operation is 10 out of 10! I could not recommend them enough! Thanks Ron and team for helping make our wedding perfect in every detail! You all were awesome!

Chef Ron and Brentwood Catering prepared and presented beautifully, all the food for my Wedding in April 2024.
Everyone genuinely raved about the perfectly cooked tenderloin, stuffed grouper and vegetables; some people even had seconds!
Before The Day, I was overthinking every detail. But I really did not have to worry about a single thing! The service from Chef Ron's team was seamless, relaxed and friendly. From the hors d'oeuvres to the salad course to the deserts, the delicious food appeared and was cleared as if by magic.
I can't thank Ron enough for his endless patience and excellent suggestions throughout this process.

Exceptional Experience!
First class from start to finish. Chef Ron made planning our wedding reception easy. He had great menus, ideas and suggestions. He worked within our budget and gave us many cost-cutting suggestions. He also has many reputable partners for things like flowers, entertainment, etc. Most importantly, the day of our event he and his team arrived on time and fully prepared. Wonderful experience and delicious food!
My son and daughter-in-law booked Bernwood Catering for their reception dinner in May. Chef Ron was quick to respond to their emails and calls. In what was a very stressful time (planning a wedding) he made the selection of food and all the details of what would be needed (number of tables, china, place settings, etc.) so easy. He and his staff were so professional and personable- they could not do enough for us and our guests. The food was AMAZING! Chef Ron is a very talented chef. Not only did the food taste wonderful, but the presentation was beautiful. The wedding guests are still talking about how delicious the food was. Highly recommend Bernwood Catering.

I must have spoke with 6+ chefs and there's no doubt in my mind chef Ron was by far the most qualified. He put together a phenomenal menu built off of my requests and after listening to him explain why everything will work so well together, I had ZERO adjustments I wanted him to make.
The big day? He absolutely crushed it. Foods I rarely tolerate became foods I went back for second and third helpings. It was perfect.

I found Chef Ron after our original wedding date was postponed and we lost our first caterer. Ron was incredibly understanding of our situation and even wrote us up a special COVID clause for any future postponements. With the unknown of COVID we ended up postponing several more times until our final date of April 30, 2021. Ron helped us pull together a cohesive menu, making adjustments for our smaller guest count. We also had the added challenge of needing to serve everything directly on the beach with no access to a kitchen. Ron made sure to overcome those challenges and all of our guests commented on how great the food was. I was concerned about the food being subpar with the beach limitations but the quality far exceeded my expectations! With our original plans being completely derailed by COVID, it was wonderful to finally have our celebration with lots of great food!

Chef Ron was amazing! Not only did he provide an excellent array of food, but he was also to help with all of our last minute needs, including outdoor heaters! The food was amazing and the timing was impeccable. Chef Ron was able to fit our event in with only a few weeks notice during a busy holiday season. His prices were very reasonable and we ended up using him for tables, chairs, etc. because he was able to get these cheaper than any other place where we received quotes. I would highly recommend Chef Ron and Bernwood Catering for any event you may have, no matter the size.

Chef Ron made our week in Naples, FL special. The food was fantastic and his customer service even better. Despite being incredibly busy he was on time with high quality meals each day. The food was not a typical catering food - you could tell it was made just prior to delivery and each day a gourmet meal was served. We had Italian, Mexican, Burgers, Detroit Chili Dogs, Steak, Lobster, Salmon, Bacon wrapped scallops and so much more. Honestly, the burgers may have been the best I've ever had.
Ron's communication throughout the ordering process and on each day of delivery was spot on. He is very talented and would do business with him again when we visit. Thank you Chef Ron for your passion and being such a good person. All the best in 2021! Mosca Family.

Chef Ron Saved Thanksgiving!
Chef Ron saved Thanksgiving for my 80-year old mother who lives in Naples! I had ordered a prepared meal to be delivered by a specialty food company but there was a mix up on the delivery date. Chef Ron came to the rescue just few days before turkey day and whipped up a delicious meal complete with turkey, gravy, vegetables, mashed and sweet potatoes, stuffing, and a whole apple pie for a very reasonable price. All my mom had to do was pick up the piping hot feast and serve it. She raved about the food and generous portions—and how easy it all was. We definitely will call Chef Ron for Thanksgiving again next year if not sooner.

Chef Ron Will Knock Your Socks Off!

When your only daughter tells you that her dream is to have her wedding on a beach and that beach is over 1100 miles away, you know that you will need lots of help to make it happen. I believe it was divine intervention the night I emailed Ron Casterline of Bernwood Catering at 11 pm. He immediately responded and said that he could talk right now if I wanted to. So we did and quickly a friendship grew by many texts and phone calls over a 9 month span. Ron was always available any time I had a question or an idea to run by him. He organized all the rentals for us, gave recommendations for flowers and DJ, discussed menu options in depth and recommended what he thought would work best with the budget we had in mind. He made me feel very comfortable and although we had never met in person, I had complete trust he would make everything perfect for us. He even went out of his way to find us a new DJ when the one we reserved had an unexpected emergency and had to move out of the area 3 months before the wedding!
When the big day arrived, Ron organized the drop off times and set up of all the rentals. He came by the night before to get a plan in place because he knew I would be busy the day of. When I say this man thinks of everything....Wow!!
It was a “knock your socks off” moment when we made it over to the cocktail hour and a server brought me some bruschetta and a bacon wrapped shrimp! His presentation of the appetizers was a work of art and everything was just popping with flavor! Mealtime brought even more delight to us all! During dinner, chef Ron walked around with a platter of food asking guests if they would like seconds! The staff was so friendly and polite, the bartender was so much fun... our guests raved about the reception for days! Chef Ron went WAY above and beyond to help make our daughter’s wedding AMAZING! Chef Ron had great communication from the moment I reached out to him for the initial quote. His menus are extensive and everything we ordered between rehearsal dinner and the reception was outstanding in taste and presentation. Chef Ron takes a lot of pride in offering the best customer care and service as well as the food he prepares is truly a work of art! Our daughter’s wedding was a small outdoor wedding but the planning and coordination was overwhelming at times. Chef Ron would always offer recommendations and advise and help coordinate between the rental company and the cake lady. I asked Chef Ron to select the cake for us and it was absolutely beautiful and delicious! Through all the changes due to COVID, the frustrations and worry, Chef Ron was always communicating and we always found something to laugh about! Thank you Chef Ron for making Lisa and Chad’s wedding the nicest we have ever experienced. You have made friends for life with all of us! You’re the BEST! ❤️

Chef Ron and his team created an awesome menu for six of us for my wife’s surprise birthday celebration. The food and service was outstanding and working with Chef Ron was easy. Surprise Birthday Party
What an amazing evening we had with Chef Ron and his staff! Could not imagine a better surprise birthday dinner! The food from the many appetizers, to the salad... then we finally got to the amazing entrees.... THEN he brings out the scrumptious desserts!!! Oh.... and his jovial hospitality... We really lucked out by having Chef Ron answer our call!!! Unfortunately, don’t have anyone the the Naples area having a birthday in the near future.

Wonderful experience from start to finish
Ron and his team were a pleasure to work with. Ron worked directly with me to plan 5 nights of catered dinners for a family reunion of 60 people. He did everything he could to work within our set budget and even worked around my ideas for meal, even though they were not on his normal menu. Rob was also very conscience of Covid concerns and took great care while serving food to guests.
The meals we chose were all presented well, delicious and multiple choices for everyone. We wanted a combination of more causal meals, along with a couple of more formal meals. For casual nights, he pulled off a fun pizza/stromboli night one night and he grilled burgers right on site another day. His chef night was incredible and I have never tasted better prime rib.
I could rave about all of his meals, but to keep it simple, we were not disappointed in any of the 5 meals that were served to us and highly recommend using Ron and his team.

In stressful times Bernwood Catering delivers
I was looking to have food delivered to our friend’s home to help ease their minds. As his wife is in the hospital battling COVID. With us living in New Jersey and not knowing the area, I searched on Google and came upon Bernwood Catering. I had the pleasure of speaking with Chef Ron and explained what we wanted to do. We selected several dishes from the Italian menu, and he was able to put together a platter of different desserts. Ron was able to put our minds at ease, even going as far as promising us that he would contact us to let us know that it was delivered. We received a call from our friend thanking us and informing us that the food was amazing. Can’t thank you enough Chef Ron!

Professional staff with awesome displays and great food
Chef Ron and his staff were amazing!! They prepared an absolutely delicious meal for our wedding. Our guests could not stop talking about the bacon wrapped scallops! Bernwood was a 5 Star from beginning to end!
This was our third community party for our neighborhood in Pelican Marsh and we wanted something different! We googled caterers near Naples and found Bernwood Catering. Well, actually we found Chef Ron. He and Bernwood Catering are fabulous. He was so responsive to our needs (almost 24/7) He worked within our budget, guided us on our selections, he set up on time and the food, well the food, was OUTSTANDING! The pulled pork was a standout and the Steak Burgers were the best I have ever had. From the presentation of the meal to the friendly service and clean up. It was the easiest party that I ever co-hosted. I am sure we will use him again next year! Thank you Chef Ron!

Home Run Home Dinner
This is the second year we hired Chef Ron and his team for dinner for our annual golf outing. This year was even better than last. They are on time, do a great job of prep, serving and cleanup, and are really enjoyable to be around. But most importantly the food is a home run. We set the menu together and it was executed beyond expectations. This year he sent Chef Eddie who could not have been better. I highly recommend calling Ron if you want a great in home dining experience.

Ron and his team were the perfect partners for our wedding in Naples. We started planning our wedding only 12 weeks before our date. Delicious Food AND Great Service
Bernwood Catering and Chef Ron are great! Not only was the food amazing (we have gotten several compliments on how great all the food was!) but his customer service was amazing too. He handled all the rentals, which made my life so much easier. We had four options: surf and turf, salmon, chicken, and vegetarian. EVERYONE praised EVERY dish. My husband doesn't even like salmon, but said he had a hard time NOT choosing the salmon. Chef Ron made sure to verify everything multiple times to make sure everything would be perfect and hassle free the day of. You think you've had great bruschetta until you've had his! SO beyond delicious. Even though the food was incredible, the service was even better. When I arrived to the ceremony and reception site, I ran into Chef Ron and he hugged me and told me I made a beautiful bride. Chef Ron also made sure I had the first appetizers and we had dinner before anyone else. Everyone has always told me I would end up feeling famished after the wedding because I hadn't gotten a chance to eat, but Chef Ron and his staff made sure that that did not happen! I most definitely recommend Bernwood Catering!!

We are an estate planning firm on Cape Cod and had clients Bonita and Marco. Chef Ron made it so easy to help this family who lost a loved one with an amazing meal while they grieved. Bernwood Catering did an outstanding job for our wedding reception. Every guest that I have spoken to, has commented on how wonderful the food was. Presentation, attention to detail and service the day of, was excellent. Getting ready for a wedding (or any type of event) can be stressful...Ron helped me out in so many ways. He guided me with menu selection, the wedding cake, set up of the room, etc. I definitely felt that he went above and beyond what I have ever experienced with other caterers. Chef Ron was a pleasure to work with from start to finish for my wedding catering needs. We had just about 100 people, and I had made a lot of changes in my menu and number of guests. Ron was nothing but accommodating with each change. We value Ron as someone we can use in the future for all of our catering needs. Motivated and professional
My wife and I were looking for a caterer when Ron contacted us. He asked what we were looking for, the budget which we had, and got started. During this process like any couple would do we sought other caterers and restaraunts who provided a similar service, but it was Ron's motivation and persistence which finally sold me. His crew only had a 2 hour prep window for hour 150 guest reception. He blew it out of the park with his excellent staff and service. And better yet his staff returned everything back to the way it was when the event was over. I am writing this testimonial to tell you that Ron is the man for the job and will recommend to anyone planning a catering event. Thanks again Ron.

Our experience was nothing short of OUTSTANDING. You can feel confident when you hire Chef Ron. Great customer service. Experienced. Professional. Fun. Perfect for a wedding or a rehearsal dinner or a brunch the next day. Or if you have wedding guests making a "destination trip" connected to your wedding, think about using Chef Ron for their extra stay. Here's our story... We wanted a caterer for the week to make our family vacation more relaxing. Who wants to cook on vacation? Not me. There were 10 of us, which made the cooking task daunting. Chef Ron took the stress away. He took the time to help me with all the meal planning so we would be 100% organized for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. He even prepared a picnic for us the night we took a sunset boat cruise. It was fabulous. Chef Ron is incredibly responsive at all times (I don't think he sleeps!). And he is extremely reliable (not all vendors are, unfortunately). Best of all, everyone enjoyed his food. It was all delicious and presented beautifully. We will hire him again the next time we visit Florida. 20 enthusiastic thumbs up from us!

Ron is terrific! He helped me create the perfect 70th birthday party for my husband. Foods were not only delicious, but presentation was amazing! Can ‘t say enough about how awesome he made this event!! is terrific! He assisted me in selecting the most unique foods to create the perfect birthday party for my husband. I recently attended a wedding for a close family member, where I was a bridesmaid with approximately 120 people, where I had the absolute best tasting food.The butler passed appetizers, entrees were all very tasty and the presentations were second to none. When I asked about the catering, I was introduced to Chef Ron, who came to talk to me about catering for an upcoming event. I most definitely would recommend Chef Ron and Bernwood Catering to my family and friends. I am very much looking forward to working with Chef Ron in the near future. The staff was very organized, professional and friendIy. I highly recommend Bernwood Catering for all your catering needs! Thank you for such a wonderful experience. This past weekend, at an amazing wedding the food was presented/prepared and delivered by Chef Ron and his team. I can only say everyone was blown away, by design, by content, by taste, by presentation ... I can only remember seeing such in movies. Great job & strongly recommended. The cake itself was better than the one in the tasting. Simply: The best in Naples.

We are happy to have found and hired Bernwood Catering Co for our small, private wedding in 4/21/17. Chef Ron was very helpful in creating a menu with our restricted budget in mind. We went with an Italian menu and it was a HUGE success among our guests. Everything was so exquisite, from the appetizers to the desserts. Our guests are still talking about it, especially the Baked Ziti - it was an absolute favorite.

Working with Chef ron for our wedding welcome party and day of breakfast and lunch for the bridal suite was simply flawless! He curated a Hawaiian themed menu to match our welcome Luau and quiche and wraps were a huge hit for the bridal party! Thanks Chef Ron!!

Wonderful bridal shower
Chef Ron went way outside of his comfort zone to help me host an afternoon tea for a bridal shower. He embraced my vision for the event and found the perfect place settings. He even seamlessly pulled off a very late change if venue. His staff was top notch and all the guests had a great time.

Incredible Catering Service
We utilized Bernwood Catering for an event in our home in which 30 people attended and could not have asked for greater success! Chef Ron was easy to work with and the staff was professional and prompt.
The variety of menus available and overwhelming quality of the food was extremely impressive. We would use this service again, no question!

Wedding Caterer
Bernwood Catering did the catering for our wedding and the food was absolutely delicious. All our guests continue to rave about how flavorful everything was.
However, we do wish our cake was cut for our guests (wedding planner made this decision) and we wish that the bartender stayed for the duration of the event. The bartender leaving before the reception was over caused issues between us and our venue. We were left to pour our own beverages and this was a huge liability issue for the venue. We ended up cutting our reception short. I would recommend outlining in the contract specific times should you choose to have Bernwood Catering bartend your event. Otherwise Chef Ron is wonderful to work with and makes great suggestions. He was the only Chef willing to make whole smoked turkeys!
