  Couldn't have asked for a better photographer

  We LOVED working with Josh and his team! He is so amazing and fun to work with. We truly appreciated the amount of time he spent trying to understand the style of photos we wanted and what important things to capture. Our photos turned out absolutely beautiful. We highly recommend Josh!!!

  Phenomenal experience all around!

  Josh is absolutely phenomenal! He did an excellent job making us feel comfortable in front of the camera and his calm demeanor kept us at ease throughout the day. And most importantly we LOVE our images! Thank you so much Josh for perfectly documenting our wedding day!

  Love Josh's Vibrant and Colorful Style!

  Josh is very talented! I cannot begin to describe how beautiful the photos are that we’ve seen from our wedding day! Josh was very easy to work with. My husband and I were so worried we would be shy and awkward around the camera, but Josh gave us good direction and made sure we felt completely comfortable so we looked our best. We absolutely loved Josh’s beautiful, colorful, vibrant and romantic photography style.   Memorable Photos

  Working with Josh was the best experience ever! He is so fun, laid back, nice, and agile! During the ceremony, he was running around and jumping over things to get the best shots. A few of our guests could not believe how fast he was, he would be in one spot one minute and then laying in the grass in another spot the next minute. He gave us such helpful tips when we did our engagement session and he made myself and my husband smile (which he does not like to do in photos, so that is saying something). On the day of, he was very flexible with our timeline and he made sure that we and our wedding party were comfortable and relaxed while he took photos. There were times when we didn't realize that he was taking photos and those are some of my favorites! He captured so many beautiful moments from our ceremony and I can't wait to hang them up in our home. Like I said before, he made sure that we and our wedding party were comfortable and relaxed during our formal photos and he was able to capture each person's personalities in his photos. I can't wait to give them out to everyone for the holidays :) The photos from the reception made us remember how much fun we had! He was able to capture the emotions from the first dance and the father-daughter dance that we will cherish forever. He also helped us in knowing how to cut the cake (it's a lot harder than it looks) LOL He was even able to capture me and one of my bridesmaid's dancing to Moana that I absolutely loved! Josh made our day so special and gave us the ability to remember our special day every day. We don't know what we would have done without him and we can not thank him enough for the memories that he captured for us!

He was excellent at communicating with us through the entire process and an absolute joy to work with!   My now husband and I found Benz Studio Photography at the Dulles Wedding Expo Event, and let me say, they were BY FAR our favorite vendors to work with. Joshua took our Engagement Photos and Wedding Photos, and they turned out better than we could've ever asked for! He was able to capture the formal moments we wanted, but also the candid moments that show our personalities. He himself was a thrill to work with, and their prices cannot be beaten! If you want the BEST for a great price, he's the one to go with!

  Josh was one of my best picks when we started picking vendors! He was very flexible and knowledgeable. Him and his assistant did a phenomenal job at the wedding and were such a pleasure to work with! If could hire him over and over again I would. Not only that but our wedding pics are just wonderful. I’m so happy we get to look back at our day. He captured every moment. My friends and family even loved him! The pics I’m posting don’t even touch the surface of all the good shots he took. HIGLY RECOMMEND!

  Josh was THE BEST to work with!! As someone who hasn’t had her wedding planned since she was 7 and had no idea what to do for photos he had a bunch of ideas, both traditional and creative. He came recommended for his willingness to get the best angle and creativity and he did not disappoint. I have some of the coolest engagement and wedding photos because on this. I also really appreciate how flexible and patient he was (and still is while I sort through TONS of wedding day photos!) since I work a lot and wasn’t always the quickest to respond to questions. Hands down, the best! Thank you Josh and team!!

  Josh is incredible! Not only will he get stunning shots, but he is so friendly, very easy to work with, and very prompt to respond to questions. Josh really tries to get to know and connect with you as a couple and determine your vision for your photos. He photographed both our wedding and engagement session, and we couldn't be happier with his work! We really appreciated his vision and suggestions, and he made sure he captured all the moments that were important to us.   Professional Beyond Belief

  My fiance, Patrick, and I booked Joshua Benz as our photographer for our wedding on April 25, 2020. Throughout our entire planning process, Josh was incredibly helpful and professional.
  
  As new developments have been emerging in the evolving COVID-19 pandemic, Patrick and I unfortunately had to postpone our wedding date from Saturday, April 25th, 2020 to October 24th, 2020. Although Patrick and I were disappointed that Joshua was no longer able to capture our special day, he was extremely patient and flexible with our last minute changes- changes that were beyond our control. In addition, when we informed Joshua that we were considering pushing our wedding to the fall, he immediately sent us the dates he was available. His exact words were, "I would love the opportunity to still capture your special day! "
  
  These are certainly difficult times for everyone. Josh's professionalism and understanding was not only impressive, but also gave us hope during this profound time in history.
  
  I would highly recommend Joshua Benz as a wedding photographer. Sometimes life takes us on unexpected turns; therefore, it is important to work with people who are flexible and understanding.

Although Patrick and I were disappointed that Joshua was no longer able to capture our special day, he was extremely patient and flexible with our last minute changes- changes that were beyond our control. In addition, when we informed Joshua that we were considering pushing our wedding to the fall, he immediately sent us the dates he was available. His exact words were, "I would love the opportunity to still capture your special day! "
  
  These are certainly difficult times for everyone. Josh's professionalism and understanding was not only impressive, but also gave us hope during this profound time in history.
