Amazing!!!
Frank is the absolute best. He was so helpful leading up to the wedding, offering insightful guidance and tips. I was so nervous about the planning process and whenever we chatted with Frank he put us at ease. Flash forward to wedding day: Frank rocked it. Every single one of our guests were either dancing or commenting on how good the music was. We had an older crowd at our wedding and he knew exactly the right songs to play to match the vibe. Frank is down to earth and doesn’t make the night about him. He kept the night going without saying much at all and we couldn’t be more grateful! I would recommend him again and again. Thank you!!! -

Highly recommend booking Frank!
Working with Frank in preparation of our wedding was super easy. He was great at communicating, helping us out when we had questions, and was very organized when it came to everything we needed to prepare for music and day-of schedule. Day of he was awesome! He kept the party going and we got so many compliments on his DJing! -

Frank was amazing. So communicative, so helpful with choosing songs for ceremony and reception entrances…he really did such an amazing job keeping a crowd on the dance floor and also keeping things flowing throughout the evening. Highly recommend choosing him for your big day! -

Frank is awesome!
I cannot recommend Frank enough! He was professional and so easy to work with. He seamlessly adjusted when we had to move our ceremony inside because of rain and made it so we didn't need to worry about a single detail. From the ceremony to the cocktail hour to dancing, he nailed it all!

The BEST DJ - Book Frank!
If you are looking for a DJ for your wedding, book Frank! Frank was the DJ for my sister's wedding in 2019 and did such a great job for her's that we didn't think twice about booking him for our September 2022 wedding. Frank is friendly and professional and makes the entire process leading up to the wedding stress free. He went out of his way to meet us at our venue to ensure he had a good sense of the space and what was needed day of from him. At the wedding, he MC'd the speeches and logistics seamlessly and most importantly played music that kept our guests dancing all night. We felt more confident knowing Frank was on our vendor team - 10/10 recommend him for your wedding! -

Danced All Night Long
Frank was so easy and enjoyable to work with. He came highly recommended from our venue, which said a lot about his preparedness, professionalism, kindness, and experience. He kept our guests on the dance floor all night, made flawlessly smooth transitions, and played music for everyone’s tastes—and we had a lot: traditional Portuguese, Irish, emo, top hits, and more. Benway made our special day the absolute best! This man can read a room!! Played all the songs we requested and vibed off everyone’s energy. All of our guests couldn’t leave the dance floor ! His timing was perfect and I had zero stress because of how much I trusted his judgement. -

Best DJ Ever!!
From beginning to end Frank Benway was a pleasure to work with. I have hired him to DJ both my daughters weddings and highly recommend him! He can read the room, knows exactly what to play, and even added in his own touch to the music selections which really enhanced the night. If you want a professional, organized, awesome DJ for your wedding he is it! He is on time and without hesitation knows how to add that musical touch to the wedding. He even picked up on playing a song my daughter mentioned in her speech! Now how amazing is that? Frank Benway is worth every penny and will make your wedding or event a night to remember. -

Best DJ Ever!
Frank was absolutely amazing! Throughout the planning process, he was responsive, extremely helpful, and flexible. He created the most incredible vibe that kept the party going the whole night! There was nothing cheesy, he listened to what we wanted, and he made it the party of a lifetime. Everyone was having a blast on the dance floor from grandparents to twenty-somethings. Hiring Frank as our DJ was the best decision!
Hire Frank now! Frank created the best mix of music throughout our wedding night and no one left the dance floor, even during Game 3 of the Celtics playoffs! He listened to our requests, made recommendations and truly allowed the night to run smoothly. From the ceremony to cocktail hour to the reception, everything was perfect. Frank is prompt at responding to any and all questions and is super personable. He created the dance party of our dreams and we could not be more grateful! -

Throughout the entire pre-wedding planning process, Frank was extremely professional, organized and responsive. He has a calm nature to him and did not add any stress to wedding planning. He was very helpful with all of our questions, respected our requests and offered his expertise when we needed it. He helped us to finalize our reception timeline and took care of coordinating with the venue without us even being involved.
The night of our wedding, Frank was a great MC. He double-checked the pronunciation of some difficult names. He was lively in his announcing but not cheesy and never made it about him (as we’ve seen other DJs do). He played all of our must play songs and did a great job of reading the room. The dance floor was crowded all night long! Our guests raved about him! He checked in on us multiple times during the reception to make sure we were happy. I would strongly recommend Frank for your wedding! -

Beyond expectations
Frank Benway, with Benway Entertainment, was the DJ at our wedding in August 2021. From start to finish, our experience working with Frank was absolutely amazing. He was extremely professional, friendly, and easy to work with. He kept in touch with us during the time leading up to our wedding and formulated the perfect playlist for our big day. He also created a specific timeline for our wedding ceremony and reception and kept in touch with our wedding coordinator so that our day ran smoothly. He was so upbeat and got our crowd dancing all night. He had all of the right songs to keep the party going! He set up and broke down his equipment without any difficulty, we were left with no stress on our big day. His pricing is very reasonable. He was so friendly and made all of our guests feel comfortable. We highly recommend using Frank Benway! -

Extremely responsive & great experience
Frank was incredibly responsive throughout our wedding planning process and helped make the experience seamless. He provides you with an online portal that allows you to put in all of your song requests (or do not play requests) as well as all of the information for your wedding day details. We had a call with Frank before the big day and discussed the music we would like to play and what we dislike. Frank nailed it! All of our guests were dancing. AMAZING - Frank is the best choice you could possibly make
As a person in their 30s, I have gone to many weddings over the past 3 years, and my experience has taught me one thing - that the choice of band/DJ, moreso than anything else, will absolutely make or break the atmosphere for your entire night. This is why we went with Frank - and he, unsurprisingly, CRUSHED it. If you make one choice for your wedding, do this: hire Frank, enjoy the best party of your life, and thank me later.
If you could dream up your ideal DJ, what would they be? Easy to work with, experienced, able to deftly read a room, a vast knowledge of music with discerning taste - Frank poses all of these things in spades. Between being accommodating about timelines and meeting times, respecting our strong musical preferences (we had an extensive "do not play" list), and just being understanding and legitimately caring about everything, Frank was so easy to work with that it felt effortless - hardly a small feat during a COVID world.
Because our experience w/ Frank was so positive in the lead up to the wedding, we felt quite confident in his ability capture the vibe we were looking for on the day of - and Frank did not disappoint. Out of all the weddings I have gone to, we had the most lively dance floor, and greatest number of dance floor participants, by a MILE. From all of our friends, to some of our more reserved family members and former colleagues, to even our grandparents - all made their mark on the dance floor, thanks to the phenomenal environment that Frank created. You want adaptable? an impromptu game of limbo broke out at one point on the dance floor, and Frank totally went with it.
I do not think a single person at our wedding did not enjoy themselves, and every guest that I spoke with said that our wedding was the most fun wedding they had ever attended. Frank is the biggest reason why this was true, and I literally cannot recommend Frank highly enough. -

All around amazing DJ
We began planning our wedding in the middle of the pandemic so there were a lot of unknowns esp. with the entertainment. From the beginning Frank made us feel at ease and ensured us that regardless of what our evening looked like it our guests would be entertained and having fun. Frank was so responsive to phone calls and emails and provided us with suggestions for our ceremony music. His online portal to submit songs was so easy to use and he played every song we requested. I was so impressed with how he was able to read the room and get all of our guests (even older ones) to get up and dance. Our friends didn't leave the dance floor all night. We cannot recommend using Frank for your wedding-he is just an all around great guy who has such a passion for music and entertaining.-

From our very first consultation meeting with Frank right up to the night of our wedding, he was so responsive and was invested in making our night exactly how we envisioned it! Frank is the absolute best!
Frank was able to work with us during the dramatically changing times in the pandemic to help make our wedding amazing! He was flexible and offered great suggestions leading up to the event, and during the event, he kept the energy up, played everything we wanted, and even let us do some unplanned karaoke. He also was able to extend his stay without question when our after party had to be adjusted to accommodate high winds. I could not recommend Frank more, and we will be bringing him back for our 5 year vow renewal when we have the party we originally planned pre-pandemic! -

Professional and Fun
Frank was a true partner during our wedding planning and on our day. He worked with us on song selection, taking the time to talk through the songs we narrowed it down to and guided us to a final decision. He also helped fine-tune the schedule of events and worked with our photographer and venue to iron out the details and make sure they were all on the same page. We kept the song selection up to him as much as we could, providing some "dos" and "don't" and he did the rest. We got several comments on the music after the fact from both friends and family, so he managed to please both crowds. I'd highly recommend Frank to anyone. -

Ugh - frank is the best!
Pre-COVID, my husband’s cousin was at a wedding and was texting me that their DJ was absolutely amazing with a picture of his business card. The next day she followed up that she didn’t leave the dance floor once all night. After the very first phone call with Frank (again, pre-COVID) we were sold. He just understood our vibe and was super easy to talk to. Then when COVID hit, he was super communicative and extremely flexible. We had to cut our guest list down from 274 to 40 people and change our entire plan. Frank was so supportive the entire time, happy to do whatever he could to make it the best experience for us. During our reception we had a last-minute change, due to weather, and Frank happily agreed to stay an additional 2 hours. Our friends and family had so much fun and Frank was a HUGE part of that. He made our small 40 person “dinner” feel like it was our 274 wedding that we had intended. We already have him booked for our 5-year anniversary vow-renewal where we plan to have our big party and are SO excited to party with him again! Could not have asked for a better!!! -

Frank was amazing! Very professional and guided us through the process of coming up with some suggestions and music for certain moments in the wedding. He managed to capture our taste in music and keep the dance floor full all night. He brought great energy to the evening and played the role of Master of Ceremony perfectly. Frank was absolutely wonderful to work with. I had no idea what I was doing through this whole wedding experience and Frank made this aspect of our wedding the most stress-free of all. He was great in checking in with us and making us feel completely tended to in the months leading up to the big day, and the day itself. He has such a lovely demeanor and made figuring out music for the wedding effortless. He really listened to the vibe we wanted and everyone loved dancing all night. When I went back to our venue to pick things up the next day, our event coordinator couldn't stop raving about Frank and how much she hoped she'd have a chance to work with him again! -

Frank is AMAZING! We were planning our wedding from out of state and he made the planning process so easy. His DJ workbook is so detailed and practically plans your timeline for you! Frank is so flexible when it comes to song changes and timeline tweaks. We didn’t give much guidance on what we wanted for reception songs and Frank nailed it! He kept the dance floor full all night long and there was not a bad song played! We’re so thankful for his hard work and wish we had an excuse to hire him again! Having Frank on your vendor team will make a world of difference in your planning process! -

Great DJ and experience!
Frank was a pleasure to work with! He was flexible and easy to get in touch with during the planning process. He even provided good suggestions for song choices and filled in the blanks when we weren’t sure what we wanted. The day of the wedding he played everything we requested, kept everything moving and everybody organized. Everybody enjoyed the music and had fun! -

Life of the party!!
Frank made this entire experience so smooth and amazing, with a very personal touch, from planning to making sure the dance party never dulled. Frank was easy going and receptive to not only us, but also our guests. He was very open to our ideas but also offered his professional opinion when needed, a perfect balance. Frank transitioned seamlessly from one part of the evening to the next, and kept all of our guests in mind. Benway Entertainment made sure that our wedding was the party we were hoping for. Benway Entertainment made our Wedding Reception Perfect
Benway Entertainment was amazing for our wedding. We had our wedding on New Years Eve in Boston and Frank created such a great atmosphere that kept the party alive all night. There never seemed to be a dull moment on the dance floor, and he was also great with his New Years countdown. Also, Frank was awesome to work with leading up to and during the event. Very professional, prompt, and attentive to detail. I would highly recommend Benway Entertainment, and especially Frank, for any occasion. -

Amazing DJ!
There aren't enough words to describe how great Frank was - always accommodating, the consummate professional, responsive, courteous, hilarious, and, most importantly, a very, very good DJ. Every song Frank played was on point - we gave him very little direction beyond "we just want to dance" and he made it happen. Every guest at the party loved him. If you're looking for an excellent DJ with a professional attitude, Frank is your guy! -

Frank did a great job at our wedding! Leading up to the big day he stayed in touch and worked with us to finalize all the music for our reception. The reception was everything I dreamt it to be! Frank made our special day so special and memorable! When searching for a DJ, Frank's five star reviews and location made him an easy choice to reach out too. From our initial inquiry, up to our wedding day Frank was amazing to work with. He was so organized and patient with us as we made last minute song changes and a few timing changes. He made the entire wedding flow so seamlessly, from our ceremony to cocktail hour to dinner tent transition he never skipped a beat. Then of course the best and most important part was that he kept our dance floor packed all night long! Frank was one of the best vendor choices we made and we will highly recommend him to anyone! -

My wife and I chose Frank as our DJ for our wedding (September 2018) and honestly, it was the best choice we could have ever made. First, a ton of DJs are going to try to either high or oversell you, and Frank was incredibly honest and gracious the entire time and was definitely affordable given the high quality work he does. Before the wedding, any time we had questions about the set for for the ceremony and reception, he would answer immediately. He was able to accommodate all our needs for requests, toasts, and introductions, and met with us personally to go over everything. His music choices were diverse but perfect to get people of all ages dancing throughout the night. He also was perfect at leading the ceremony but not overwhelming anyone. To top all that off, he is a genuinely kind and funny person, which made everything easier. If you want your wedding to have the best DJ, pick Frank! -

Frank totally nailed it. From awesome music (we gave him very little to work with there and he still totally got our vibe and had us ALL dancing to the perfect selection of songs), to being super responsive as well as accommodating, and incredibly patient with our last minute decision making and game time plan changes— he rolled with it all and kept everything moving smoothly.
Every DJ review I read focuses on how the DJ can read the room and kept everyone on the dance floor, so it’s hard to set anyone apart. Did Frank do a fantastic job of these things? Absolutely! But a number of things set him above and beyond. He was so responsive and accommodating— not only did he always reply promptly, but he was able to “meet” us via FaceTime when we were interviewing DJs from out of state, and he was able to work with our schedule to meet in person when we were in town— he really made the time for us, and he was able to provide for all our specific requests, from song selections (tracking down some obscure versions for us) to my multiple set ups (including providing a second simple sound system for our remote beachfront ceremony). He was super flexible— our day was not without hiccups, including some timeline issues, and Frank rolled with it and kept things moving seamlessly (especially when half the families were MIA when it came time for parent dances — he didn’t skip a beat and reversed the order and before rolling into my father-daughter dance made sure to double check that all the important people who would want to see it had returned). He kept it cool when my guest shuttling system fell apart and was able to keep my guests informed of the changes (translating my panicky message into something more palatable and fun, so no one realized how “wrong” it was going!)
Frank is so genuinely kind and his positive, approachable attitude surely helped add to the over all awesome vibe&energy of our day. He was so professional, yet easy going, such an awesome fit for our day! -

There are truly are no words to explain how happy we are for choosing Frank to be our DJ for our July 7, 2018 wedding. Frank is the best!! My husband and I hired him for our wedding at the end of September and we are so happy that we did. He was so easy to work with and very responsive to emails and questions that we had. He met with us twice to go over everything and make sure that we were on the same page as far as specific songs we wanted, the timing of certain events, and special announcements we wanted him to make. He was always so organized and accepting of all of our requests and it really helped us relax during the whole wedding planning process. On the night of our reception he was great about helping us stay on track and making sure that everything was flowing the way it should be, and we got so many compliments about the music. We had such a great night and we have Frank to thank for so much of it! -

Words simply cannot describe how wonderful it was to work with Frank for our wedding this October (2017). The second the music was turned on, we had guests flooding the dance floor and Frank didn’t disappoint all night with an amazing set list, inspired by the mood of the crowd. He was able to read the room and adjust the music accordingly and it was absolutely flawless. We still have guests raving about how much fun they had and to quote something we’ve heard several times since the wedding - “I don’t think I’ve ever danced that much in my life.”
He not only listened to our vision and made it come to life but the real x-factor in Frank is his willingness to go above and beyond to make sure you as a couple are at ease and having a great time at your own wedding. And for him that starts months prior where he really put in the time to get to know us and our style and then come back with customized recommendations. As the bride, I was all about organization with the wedding and it was such a relief to have a vendor like Frank who came with a wedding workbook and even helped me create the timeline for the day with my coordinator. Several times throughout the night Frank checked in on us to make sure we were having a good time, getting to eat some food and if there needed to be any adjustments to the music set. Talk about going above and beyond!
The other service we tapped Benway Entertainment for (in addition to the ceremony and reception music) was uplighting for our reception tent. We were blown away at how beautiful it came out and the extra lighting really made a big impact. We decided to go with a blue theme and the pictures are just stunning. Again, Frank was there to provide recommendations along the way and ensure that everything was set up perfectly so we never even had to think twice.
He is not only the utmost professional but he is a delight to work with and someone who is really passionate about what he does. I would HIGHLY recommend B.E.! -

Our DJ was Frank. From the first time discussing the wedding to the actual day, Frank was great. He was very easy to work with throughout the planning process. He's organized, understanding, and very patient with common indecisiveness that I think most people have. And then on the actual wedding day, everything was perfect. All the timing of all the big moments were just right. We heard all the songs we specifically asked for. And the dance floor was packed the entire night. Everybody had a great time, and Frank deserves a ton of credit for that. -

Frank Benway was not only an awesome DJ and MC but hands down the best vendor we worked with throughout our planning process. We would email him and minutes if not seconds later he would respond not only answering our questions but also providing suggestions based on his own experience in the industry. He would actually be keeping us on better schedule during planning than we could ourselves. This review wouldn't be complete without mentioning is insane DJ skills, the dance floor was packed from start to finish and he definitely left the crowd wanting more. I can't say enough good things about Benway Entertainment!! I first heard them at my sisters wedding and was so impressed, everyone was on the dance floor the entire night. Shortly after her wedding I got engaged and called Benway Entertainment to book them because I saw the incredible job they did for my sister. I knew Frank was a great DJ but i never expected how accomodating and easy to work with he was. Every email was returend within a couple of hours and every question/concern was answered. Right down to the day before Frank was in contact with me and I was able to make any changes i needed/wanted to. My wedding night could not have been better in any way and I have Benway Entertainment to thank for that. Everyone was on the dancefloor the whole night and had a blast. Frank was so easy to work with. We waited a bit after hiring him before finally settling on what style of music we wanted and he was patient throughout the process. He would check in every so often, just to see if we had decided anything but was never upset when we still were dragging our feet. He gave us a form to fill our that helped us to know exactly what we needed songs for. He was even able to give us input on the few items we just couldn't figure out (like what music to play during the cocktail hour and dinner).
During our pre-wedding meeting he let us know he would coordinate with our event planner and photographer to be sure things happened when everyone was ready and help move the night along when needed. He definitely followed through! He always made sure the photographer was around before he started any dances, speeches, etc. He even reminded me of things I forgot I wanted to have happen, like a special dedication dance for my parents.
Everyone at our wedding raved about how great our DJ was and I couldn't agree more! The dance floor was packed and we loved all the songs Frank picked. -

We hired Frank to DJ our wedding back in September and couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. Everything was perfect. He helped us to amplify our beach ceremony with speakers & mics and he had all of our guests (young & old!) on the dance floor for the entire night. We wanted a mix of today's hits with classics and Frank did an amazing job of seamlessly blending the genres together. All of our 'must-haves' were played and we never had to worry about the timing of anything; Frank took care of it!
Leading up to the big day Frank was so easy to work with. He was always quick to respond to an email and super flexible when it came to scheduling phone calls. His day-of planner really helped us to understand all of the songs we would need to pick out and he always had great song recommendations when we were stuck. Day of, he was at the venue early and worked with all of our vendors to make sure everything ran according to schedule.
I really can't say enough about how professional and easy it was to work with Frank. I highly highly recommend working with Frank and Benway Entertainment for your DJ needs, and look forward to working with him again in the future!! -

Frank exceeded our expectations on every level. We are definitely a more laid back couple and did not have our song selections determined until a few days before our wedding. Frank is so flexible, willing and able to work with every kind of couple. He would reach out to us during the planning just to see how things were going and if he could offer a helping hand. We were provided with what seemed like an endless list of the most popular songs chosen by couples for every part of the reception in an effort to help with our song selections. My husband and I hired Frank Benway from Benway Entertainment to be the DJ at our wedding. We couldn't have been happier with our decision!! The music Frank played was 100% in line with our style and vision for the evening. He read the crowd perfectly and kept all guests, both young and old, on the dance floor the entire night! Not only was the music fantastic, but Frank was the utmost professional. He was organized, accessible, and flexible about any and all changes we made throughout the planning process. Frank Benway was the DJ for my wedding in May, and I can not say enough good things about him as a person as well as the services he provided for me and my husband. After meeting Frank, I felt like he was as excited for our big day as we were. Through out the planning process, communicating with Frank was easy and fast. Emails were answered the same day, often within the same hour, and Frank also made himself available for all my last minute changes and offered advice for anything we were unsure about. He worked with us to make sure everything was perfect for us right up until the day before the wedding. And finally when the day was here, the reception was amazing. My main concern about the reception was that everyone had a good time, and thanks to Frank, the dance floor was packed with people dancing and having a blast! Frank was the best balance of professional and fun. My guests still talk about how much fun they had and how awesome the DJ was! My sister got engaged shortly after my wedding and immediately asked for Frank's information so she could have him for her wedding! We can't wait!

Frank was incredibly responsive, easy to work with, and professional. We didn't exactly know what we wanted format-wise and he helped guide us through the process. I highly recommend Frank as a DJ/MC. -

Benway Entertainment was recommended to me by a close friend. When I met with Frank, the owner, I was immediately struck by his professionalism and emphasis on making my event all about me and my husband. He was certainly not your typical cheesy wedding DJ. He always responded quickly and even called to check in with me multiple times to make sure that I was feeling comfortable with everything. I had quite a few silly song requests and he never once made me feel like I was out of my mind for picking them (and trust me there were some funnies). Our wedding was a HUGE success largely in part to the role Frank played in it. I highly recommend Benway Entertainment and look forward to using them for other life celebrations! -
