From my first phone call with Kaylinn at Bend The Light I immediately knew I had found the most perfect photography vendor for our wedding! Kaylinn and Jenn are childhood best friends and they truly treat all of their clients as family! My husband and I truly enjoyed our engagement session with Jenn! She made us feel so comfortable and offered great tips so any personal insecurities about being photographed were quickly forgotten. I also truly enjoyed my bridal session with Jenn too! Every picture was so beautiful it was very difficult to select a photo to display for the reception! Kaylinn is an expert with her photo editing and her excitement with any "sneak peek" photos is simply contagious! They coordinated with my wedding planner for our day of timeline and multiple times we were ahead of schedule! My husband and I CANNOT wait to see how our wedding photos turned out!

I had Bend the Light do my engagement and wedding day photos. They came out so stunning! I had a small intimate ceremony but still wanted to hire a professional photographer to capture the memories of our special day. If you are on the fence about hiring this company, rest assured that they will go above and beyond your expectations. Book them as soon as you know a date you want photos so you don't miss out. You will be so excited at how GORGEOUS your photos will come out. Even the word "photos" do not do them justice, they are truly works of art.

Jenn and Kaylinn were absolutely amazing to work with!! They are fun, flexible, professional, and most importantly, produce AMAZING photos! The engagement shoot my husband and I did with Jenn at the Botanic Gardens was one of the highlights of wedding planning for me. We both had so much fun and Jenn kept us laughing the whole time. As we were preparing for our wedding, Kaylinn was so helpful about going over every detail and the timeline. She even helped us decide on our pre-ceremony photo location based on which one would work best with our wedding colors! My husband and I will always treasure our wedding photos from Bend the Light!

We cannot recommend Bend the Light enough! They were so detail orientated and are every bride’s dream. Kaylinn has a gift for going through every planning detail prior to the wedding and Jenn is beyond talented in her photography. She’s so incredible and instantly feels like the best friend you’ve had since kindergarten. Kaylinn will take care of everything leading up to the big day and you won’t stress a second. Picking Bend The Light for our wedding was one of the BEST decisions we made for our wedding. Kaylinn (studio manager) is incredibly helpful and was a wonderful resource for me. She gladly answered the million questions I had and was just a joy to talk to. Since I was planning a wedding from the UK, the first time I met Jenn (lead photographer) and Dawn (second photographer) was on our wedding day and they were so professional and caring. I don't like the flabby bit under my chin and Jenn and Dawn made sure I "turtled!" to get the best angles. It felt weird, but oh boy does it work! Our pictures looks AMAZING. I cannot speak highly enough of Kaylinn, Jenn, and Dawn. They are worth every penny and I would book them again and again and again!

Let me start this review by saying the ladies at Bend the Light are AMAZING! We could not have picked a better photography team to document such a special time in our lives (and neither could you…seriously…you need to hire these ladies right now!). Bend the Light’s photos are stunning and as soon as I came across their website, I knew we had to hire them immediately.

From the get go Kaylinn was super helpful. She helped us plan our timeline and any other details of our wedding day that might affect our photos. She was quick to respond to all my emails and is such a genuinely sweet person. Jenn was equally amazing and we had so much fun with her at both our engagement shoot and on our wedding day. I am pretty camera shy and was worried about whether I would like our photos, but Jenn captured “us” perfectly. Her ability to capture a couple’s unique love story is an amazing gift.

But what really makes Bend the Light so special is that Jenn and Kaylinn really care about all of their clients so much. And, by the time our wedding day finally arrived, it didn’t feel like a stranger behind a camera anymore as much as it felt like celebrating with friends.

All this to say, you should totally hire these ladies. I promise you will not be disappointed.

When it came to wedding photographers I knew I needed the best and I was not willing to gamble on the quality. That's what lead me directly to Bend the Light. Their portfolio is beautiful, and a quick phone call with Kaylinn assured me that we could easily have a great working relationship. They were there to answer any and all questions along the way. It goes without saying, but the photos are PHENOMENAL. I'm the third child in my family and my dad openly commented that these are the best wedding photos he's ever seen :) They did a great job on our engagement session, even with our unruly dog! They were so helpful and available on the wedding day, while not being over-bearing or too demanding. We got every photo we wanted and a ton more -- all within THREE WEEKS of the wedding. That's unheard of. They really captured the details beautifully, which meant a lot to us. I could go on and on, but basically, I highly recommend and I'd use them again in a heartbeat.

Kaylinn and Jenn were the best team my husband and I could have asked for! From my first (45 minute) call with Kaylinn, to receiving our images less than 3 weeks after our wedding, they were true partners throughout our experience. Kaylinn has a great demeanor, knows what she is doing and is quick to respond to all questions. Jenn was a true professional at our engagement session and again for our wedding day. She’s great about checking in, making sure you have all the photos you want. And the second photographer Josh was great too. They make it easy to plan everything out and give you the confidence everything will turn out how you imagined (or even better!). I fell in love with Jen and Kaylinn's work when they did my best friend's wedding in 2012, and I remember wishing we could have them at our wedding, but we live on the east coast. Fast forward a few years and when we actually decided to get married, we settled on San Antonio after all, and I got to have my dream photographer!

Both Jen and Kaylinn were incredibly helpful in the lead-up to the wedding, and even though we were doing almost everything long distance they helped make all of the planning go seamlessly. Day-of, Jen and Adrien were AMAZING. They caught all the best moments, both posed and spontaneous, and I can't stop looking at all of our photos.

Thank you for capturing everything that made our wedding such a special day! Your work will help us remember the day forever.

The ladies at Bend the Light are simply incredible. They made everything so easy and stress free! Kaylinn responded absurdly quick to all of my many questions before and after our wedding, and always seemed to share our excitement for our big day. She assured me they would be prepared for our purple uplighting, and that we wouldn't look like martians in the photos. She helped me put together a reasonable timeline, and the list of family photos we wanted. I couldn't have done it without her!

We did an engagement photo session to get used to the idea of having our photos taken, and we ended up loving almost every picture! Our wedding day was no different. Jenn worked with our coordinator flawlessly. We didn't make it easy on them by having our ceremony very close to sunset and not doing a first look, but they were still able to get tons of beautiful photos for us. They seemed to be everywhere and nowhere all at once... I never noticed them during the ceremony and didn't feel they intruded in any way whatsoever during the night.

Best of all, we had our photos back in TWO WEEKS! I truly don't know how they are able to produce such high quality work so quickly, but it was amazing to have pictures to show everyone when we got home from our honeymoon. I can't recommend Bend the Light highly enough... in all of the stress of planning a wedding, I didn't consider how the photographer is really the key to preserving the great memories from our big day. I am so thankful we chose Bend the Light and will have their beautiful work as a keepsake forever.

I'm a visual person but yet very low maintenance when it came to what type of cake, flowers, etc. - I even let my husband pick our wedding colors. My only 'must' was to have a great photographer. After many many long hours of searching and for a right fit, I stumbled upon Bend the Light. I was thrilled they were available for the wedding day! Though it did rain on our wedding day, their photos turned out magnificent (even without a lot of natural lighting to work with!). I wouldn't have been as happy without them as a big part of my day. Throughout the planning, they worked closely with me to pick out everything! They were extremely 'on top of their game' and made the whole process so smooth! They really do love what they do - and to make the bride and groom happy! They encourage stepping outside the box and making each wedding unique and catered to the client. I highly recommend Bend the Light to anyone who wants great pictures and a great experience to go along.

Amazing, amazing, amazing! Jenn and Kaylinn definitely know what they are doing! I had such a wonderful experience with Bend the Light and could not be happier with how our engagement, bridal portraits and wedding photos turned out. There are sooooo many awesome photos to choose from, I don't have enough surfaces in my house for them all! I am so happy I chose them to photograph our special day, because I now have the most amazing photos to look back on and relive!
Jenn has an incredible eye and truly does have the ability to bend the light in her favor! Truly amazing. If you have any doubts, just look through their blog and you'll be amazed! Such beautiful, modern photos.
They were also very professional and prompt with all communication and were available to answer any questions, and even helped me select locations for engagement and bridal portraits. Kaylinn is also a fantastic resource for helping with planning out the timeline, and Jenn did an awesome job of sticking to it and moving it along the day of to make sure we got all the shots we wanted! Bend the Light is the best photography in San Antonio. My daughter and I searched the internet and reviewed many wedding photos before choosing Bend the Light. Their photos were less posed and seemed to capture the happiness and emotions of a wedding better than other photographers. Kaylinn, the Studio Manager, and Jennifer, the photographer, are friendly, professional, prompt, and thorough. Jennifer instantly made my daughter and her fiancé feel at ease with her energy and bubbly personality. Jennifer took their engagement photos at Market Square, spent two hours taking photos at the rehearsal dinner, and spent 10 hours on the wedding day with an additional photographer. Every facet and every emotion was captured. If you want top quality photos, friendly and professional photographers, and more natural, less posed photos, then Bend the Light is your only choice. We love them and plan to use them for all our photography needs in the future.

All I can say is BOOK THEM NOW! Bend The Light was SOOOO AMAZING & everything I ever wanted! They were so flexible with all of my last minute requests, and wedding date changes. We felt so comfortable during our engagement and wedding day photos. (Which is hard because we are usually really awkward while taking pictures) The way our photos came out made me speechless. I look at our photos literally every day since we received them, and I am sooo happy with how everything turned out! Looks like everyone is getting pictures of my husband and I for Christmas haha! These girls have been so sweet and fun to work with from the very first email I exchanged with them. They even went beyond their call of duty by helping me find a few other vendors I was still needing to book for the reception. I felt completely comfortable asking them any questions, and they also were very helpful in providing ideas and suggestions for photos we wanted to make sure we added to our list and continued throughout the night to make sure I knew they were there to take any photo with someone that I thought of last minute as well. They are very professional, and get the photos back to you in a timely manner. After taking my bridal portraits and being absolutely blown away with how many my family and I just loved, we knew we made the right choice with these girls! We were excited and relieved to know that we had nothing to worry about how the pictures would turn out for the wedding after seeing the quality of service they provided for the bridal session. And with no surprise, they exceeded our expectations on the wedding photos! This was our first chioce of vendors once we got engaged! These girls are extremely detail oriented and take fantastic pictures!, We have recieved so many compliments on the pictures and really have had such a hard time picking a favorite because they are all so good. They did a nice job at the reception of capturing our family and friends in fun moments as well as capturing all the details of the wedding. For us, pictures were are #1 priority and they exceeded all of our expectations. It was nice to have such confidence in a vendor and know that you were going to love seeing the results!

Amazing experience with Bend the Light! Two photographers, one list, and a whole lot of fun. They are very flexible and can quickly adapt to changing weather situations. You will NOT regret this choice for your wedding. I researched many photographers and kept coming back to their beautiful work. I was exceedingly impressed with their beforehand process (asking me specific questions, taking the time to get to know me, my wedding "look", etc.). Seriously, no detail was left out! The day of the wedding, they were incredibly attentive and got every shot I had asked for and more. Both our families made numerous comments on how impressed they were with them! We chose Bend the Light as our engagement and wedding photographers after several days of research. When we got engaged, my fiance and I decided that one thing we really would allow ourselves to splurge on was the photography- and we're so glad we did! Kaylinn and Jen were not only easy to get ahold of and communicate with throughout our year long engagement, but they answered any and every question (there were a lot!) that we had. The pictures Jen and assistant photographer Josh took at the wedding are unbelievable. Bend the Light may seem pricy at first, but the quality of their photos, Jen's artistic and creative eye, and their level of customer service and support makes every penny well worth it. We are so thrilled with our photos, which they got back to us within just a few weeks after the wedding.

Bend the Light Photography is worth EVERY. SINGLE. PENNY! They take absolutely amazing photos, even if you're not very photogenic like me. Lol! I LOVE all of my pictures: Engagement photos, bridal portraits, and wedding photos, and I have almost never been able to say that about pictures of me in my life. Jenn and Kaylinn were so sweet and professional, and although I didn't get to spend much time with Jesslynn, she seemed super sweet as well. No complaints from the guys! My wedding was super stressful and I was so embarrassed because I had about a dozen anxiety attacks, but Jenn and Jesslynn worked around them and you can't even tell how stressed out I was in the pictures. Jenn was so sweet during some of these issues, I can't thank her enough. The pictures are seriously amazing and everyone has been fawning over them! Thank you so much for everything! If I could wallpaper our new house in these photos, I would. :)

When my mom and I were first looking at photographers we came across Bend the Light. My mom started crying when looking at the blog. She replied, "Ellen, if I am crying at these strangers pictures can you imagine when it is you." We knew right then they were the perfect choice. There photos are incredible. The service and professionalism that my wife and I received from Kaylinne, Jenn and Kirsten at Bend the Light is second to none. Bend the Light was the photographer for our engagement photos as well as wedding day and we couldn't be happier with the quality of photos that we received. The guest sign in book that they made from our engagement photos was absolutely beautiful. The weather was overcast and rainy on the day of our wedding, so the lighting was not ideal, but you cannot tell from the photos. Bend the Light was very proactive about staying on task and meeting deadlines and they worked closely with other vendors to help create a timeline that worked for everyone. From the moment I chose Bend the Light for my destination, wedding their professionalism and thoroughness confirmed I made the right decision. They were so organized and actually help guide me to make sound decisions about the wedding day plan. On the day of the wedding, it rained. The photographers did not skip a beat and found an outdoor dry location that could not have been more perfect. When I received the photos two shirt weeks later, I was shocked at how brilliant the colors were and how they were able to capture the joy of the occasion. Of all of the decisions I made on the wedding plans, they are my favorite decision.

Bend the Light was an amazing company to work with from our engagement session to my bridal portraits, and the wedding, of course!! Jenn took into consideration what locations we wanted that had special meaning to us. They definitely thrive in naturally lit environments, and we loved our shots along the Riverwalk!! The colors came out brilliantly. They also captured the perfect moments during our reception of everyone dancing and laughing! We will cherish these memories forever.

Everyone has given us the highest compliments for our photographs, and we absolutely love them!!!! We will definitely be having Bend the Light take our future family photos!!! We highly recommend!!!

Bend the Light is an awesome company. Not only do their photographers take gorgeous photos, their customer service is simply excellent. It was so refreshing work with them among some other less-efficient wedding vendors. Jenn, the primary photographer, is so passionate about what she does and will do just about anything to get you the most perfect photos of your big day. They are on time, easy to work with, and just plain fun to have as part of your wedding! They have such an eye for detail and come fully prepared to get you memory snapshots of your day. They did our engagement photos, my bridal portraits and wedding photos and I've received about a million compliments from friends and family. I've referred them to several other brides who decided to use them for their weddings. They are truly the best!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the ladies at Bend the Light. They are truly the nicest, most talented and most professional photographers I have ever met. My husband (then finance) is in the Air Force and stationed outside of Texas so we were always having to plan around his schedule. Bend the Light was extremely accommodating and shot our engagement photos, my bridal session and our wedding. From day one, the ladies at Bend the Light made our entire wedding photography process seamless. I really relied on Jenn to help us with locations, poses and wardrobe--and her advice was always perfect.

When it came to the wedding day, Jenn and Sada were absolutely amazing at coordinating our "getting ready" pictures, our first look pictures, and the numerous pictures we have of our huge wedding party. They knew exactly what we wanted and we absolutely loved every one of the pictures they took. What I love most about Bend the Light is that they were always so helpful and so accommodating with our schedules. Anytime I e-mailed them, they were extremely responsive and helped me out with any questions I had.

Also, all of my friends and family were absolutely stunned at how all of the pictures turned out. I could not be more pleased, excited and thrilled with the way our wedding photos turned out. I still can’t stop looking at them. Hands down Bend the Light is the best in the business!! I highly recommend you use them. You will not be disappointed!

If you only read one sentence in this review, here it is: Book Bend the Light Photography if you want to be the happiest bride with the most gorgeous photos of your special day!!! Honestly, I knew I wanted to book these amazing girls as soon as we started planning our wedding. I had seen some of their beautiful images from previous weddings on blogs and I knew I loved their style. I expected to be pleased with my images and I wasn't disappointed- to see my own wedding photos took my breath away!! I realize I sound very narcissistic, but let's be honest, every bride deserves to feel gorgeous on her special day, and they made me look great- I felt better than my best looking day! Not to mention that my groom and I aren't very good at getting our photos taken. We don't really like being in front of cameras and we have a tendency to look and be a bit awkward. :) Kaylinn is super organized and went over what to expect on the big day with me which was fabulous. Jenn and Sada made me and my groom feel so comfortable that we didn't mind getting our pictures taken at all- even my new hubby was captured grinning and laughing and completely at ease. He's so thrilled with the images too- he keeps looking at them over and over in amazement- he can't believe he looks that relaxed and happy in a photograph, and now he looks that way in hundreds of images that Bend the Light took! Our families and friends are also thrilled- they captured the faces we love as they joined in our celebration, and you can feel the love and happiness that was abundant that evening. I'm so, so pleased that I booked Bend the Light. We will have these beautiful images forever, and we will cherish being able to look at them as we grow old together.

When we looked for photographers, Bend The Light had, hands down, the most amazing portfolio and I knew at that moment no other pictures would hold a candle to what these ladies are able to do. I ABSOLUTELY recommend Bend The Light Photography! We used them for our engagement pictures, and I cannot imagine a better portrait-taking experience or better results. My fiancé is camera-shy (he would've skipped engagement pictures all together if he hadn't known how much I wanted them), and Jenn (our photographer) was so great at putting us both at ease. I think she was able to capture a side of our relationship that most people don’t get to see, which is so meaningful and perfect. AND it was fun! I had bend the light shoot my engagement photos, so essentially my review is based on the engagement shoot session.I loved the natural light and look of their finished products and I'm super happy with the way our photos turned out. Jenn was our photographer and she was pretty easy going, easy to work with. She was very patient even with our 1.5yr old pup. Kaylinn the manager was very responsive via email with my questions. My fiance and I are not San Antonio natives and both unfamiliar with the area, and Kaylinn as very helpful with recommending locations to fit our style. I would def recommend these lovely ladies for your engagement photos

I am SO IN LOVE with the breathtaking photographs Bend The Light captured on my wedding day! I was familiar with their work before I was engaged and knew without a doubt that they were the only ones that I wanted for this most important day. I still spent some time researching other photographers, but there was no one that could compare to magic that Bend The Light captures. Working with Jenn, Kaylinn & Sada was wonderful; it felt like we were old friends from the very first meeting, and they were there to help through all the months of planning. They go above and beyond to make sure that you have all the tools you need on your wedding day to ensure the most perfect pictures. They helped me with details that I never would have thought of myself; from planning the ceremony timeline so there would be enough natural light at the end to making sure you’ve built in time for the special details like capturing the mother of the groom pinning her son’s boutonniere. It’s so easy to appreciate Bend The Light’s talent from seeing the pictures on their website and blog, but there are no words to describe the emotion you feel the first time you see the images from YOUR wedding day. Bend the Light is simply amazing! The day of the wedding all the groomsmen had to help put up lighting for the event and ran terribly late. I had a bridesmaid about a hour late too! I was loosing my mind thinking all the pictures weren't going to get done in time. The three ladies at Bend the Light made sure that was not the case and got ALL the pictures and more. I don't know how they did it, but they were beyond organized and understanding!
I had a very limited budget for my wedding and I based everything around booking Bend the Light first. It was a wonderful choice, because all the pictures turned out beautiful and I couldn't be happier with them!
If you are on the fence about booking them just do it! They will work with you through the whole experience and always answer your email/phone calls within the day! Five stars :-)

Bend The Light did our engagement photos. I live in San Antonio but my wedding was held in my hometown of Indianapolis. I absolutely loved loved my photos! The photographers are very professional but still down to earth. They are very talented at what they do. They are also easy to work with. Bend the Light as a team are exceptional at what they do and who they are as people. Both Jenn and Kaylinn have a great eye for unique shots and made all parts of our wedding memorable with their pictures. My husband and I decided that photography at the wedding would be the one place where we would spend a good amount for the vendor. I am so glad we did! Every picture you receive is edited, vibrant, and beautiful. On top of all of this, they are wonderful people in their everyday lives. Both Jenn and Kaylinn treat you as if you are old friends, never making that posed picture seem awkward or planned. They'll do anything to make you laugh and climb/contort their bodies in any which way to get that perfect shot. They are humble and so kind. Wow! Wow! Wow! Jenn and Kaylinn from bend the light are absolutely amazing. As soon as Rick proposed to me, I got straight on the phone and told my mom I wanted BTL to do my photography. Days went on and plans were being made and my heart absolutely sank when I found out they were already booked for my wedding day, I even thought about changing it after several plans have been made, but I will never forget the phone call from Kaylinn saying the date opened up. I was literally jumping in my apartment. From that day on I have had nothing less then perfect with Bend the Light. Our engagement session was gorgeous and my friends and family went nuts over the pictures. The guest book and the cd full of pictures were both sooo amazing but my absolute favorite time was taking pictures on our big day. Everything was going wrong. Flights being canceled, pastor running late, and the big bundle of rain! I was going crazy and these 2 lovely ladies went beyond their job as photographer and became my therapist also. They calmed me down and made me feel extremely blessed to have them there. I have seen a sneak peak to my wedding photos and to say their are beautiful is an understatement. No words can fully describe how amazing Jenn and Kaylinn at Bend the Light are. I received so many compliments on my engagement and wedding pictures even up to several weeks after they were posted. You just can't go wrong with them. They have a natural way of making you feel comfortable. They are also extremely patient and flexible as I had to schedule and reschedule my engagement session several times due to scheduling conflicts with having a long distance relationship at the time with my fiance. At first I was worried I may have paid too much for photography, but they are worth every penny. Booking them as one of my vendors early on in the wedding planning process was the best decision I made through the whole ordeal of wedding planning. One of my pet peeves during the planning process were vendors that did not email or return my calls promptly and were hard to get a hold of. I never had this problem with these girls. Email them and literally within 1-2 days they would have replied and answered any question I had. Like I said, you just can't go wrong with them. Amazing.

When my now husband and I started planning our wedding we decided that one of our top priorities was going to be the photography. We researched and read reviews, we looked through many portfolios, blogs and websites. And then we found Bend the Light and we stopped looking because we had found the perfect photographers. Their photos were amazingly beautiful works of art, and what’s better, each of the weddings portfolios that we looked through captured precious, wonderful moments that only the most skilled photographers could capture. We booked them almost immediately and knew we made the right decision right away, they were very communicative, offered great advice and made sure that each session (engagement, bridal and the wedding) contained not only their beautiful works of art, but places and locations that we connected with and felt comfortable in.

Our first session, our engagement session, was so much fun. Jenn was so friendly and sweet. Both George and I were a bit stiff at first, I was worried about my hair and George is not always one to be the main subject of pictures, plus we aren’t always big on great deals of PDA, but somehow Jenn got us to laugh and feel comfortable. We were able to feel secure enough to really be able to express our love in front of the camera. By the end of the session, we were having a great time.

When we got our pictures back, we were elated. They were amazing and not just because we looked great in the pictures but because they were beautifully done. We were so happy with the pictures, that we used one of them for the Save the Dates and the save the dates were a hit, if I do say so myself.

My bridals were absolutely fantastic. I was getting over a cold and not feeling the best, but Jenn was cheerful, encouraging and positive through the whole experience and my pictures were better for it. She made me smile and laugh the whole time (she might have use peek-a-boo a couple of times, but heck it worked).

And then the day, the glorious wonderful amazing day. Jenn and Kaylinn were there to capture every wonderful moment. They set our first look up perfectly, posed our wedding party amazingly and captured everyone detail of the wedding that we had worked so hard for. Furthermore, they were so funny and wonderful with our families. To give you just a taste of some of the comments we have received on our wedding photos so far: “I'm looking at them now. WOW!!” “OH MY GOSH! these pictures take my breath away” “They look like magazine shots ( I mean really - the one with you and your wedding party on the steps of the log house - AMAZING!)”

If you want amazing photographs that you will have a treasure for the rest of your lives, photographers that are wonderful, caring, fantastic individuals, and professionals that are communicative, prepared, and honest, hire Bend the Light, right away (they book up fast).

I would highly reccomend using Bend The Light! Absolutely amazing photographers to work with from quality of work to professionalism and just all around amazing! So easy to work with, they put up with me asking a million questions very often. But truth be told a lot of thier previous works with other brides inspired a lot of my wedding ideas! The pictures are the most important thing, you will have them to remember your special day for the rest of your life, and what you get with Bend the Light you will treasure forever!

Jenn and Kaylinn of Bend the Light are amazing. They are talented and extremely fun to work with. They captured everything about our wedding in a unique way. We love our wedding photos. Their work speaks for itself because they are so outstanding. Five minutes spent on their blog looking through their work, and you'll be sold. We were!

The ladies are the best! We can't wait to work with them again someday for some family portraits.

Jen and Kaylinn of BTL photography are super nice and super professional, not to mention incredibly talented! My husband and I chose BTL for our engagement, bridal, and wedding photos and were nothing but 100% pleased with the girls' services. HIGHLY recommend.

We loved them! They were so personable and real- it was like having your friends take your photos! Not to mention the photos themselves were amazing! Better than your friends taking pictures:). We loved BTL!

Both ladies are wonderful to work with. Extremely creative, professional and fun. I was always told that choosing the photographer was extremely important and I honestly don't think it get's better than this. We looked at tons of photographers and compared pricing. Photographers for your wedding are not cheap, but the ladies at Bend the light have really reasonable packages and are more than happy to customize to meet your needs, they def. did with us, and we could not have been happier! Love them!

Jenn and Kaylinn of Bend the Light are ridiculously talented. Just looking at their portfolio makes that clear, but what is even better is how fantastic they are to work with! A big reason why we chose to work with them was because we just felt comfortable telling them what we had envisioned and they are just fun to be around. On the wedding day, they did a great job of combining the artsy shots we wanted and also getting in formal photos our parents wanted. Since the wedding, I’ve been impressed at how quickly they put together all our photos! A blog post was up within two weeks, an online gallery of over 500 photos up the week after that, and we just got our DVD of all the photos this weekend, only five weeks after the wedding. Even better, the praise from friends and family for the photos has been overwhelming. Jenn and Kaylinn are fantastic!

If you are looking for an artistic approach to wedding and engagement pictures, look no further! Bend the Light is so talented in taking the "standard" wedding pictures and making them look like something straight from a magazine! I highly recommend them...but, book soon, they are already booked for most of 2010!

Bend the Light was my favorite vendor to work with throughout the whole wedding process. Not only were they fun to work with, but they were very professional and always very responsive. They are very flexible and creative. You tell them what you want and they are willing to work with you on how to make your ideas come alive. If you are not sure what you want, they are professionals and can guide you in the right direction, tell you what will look good, and answer any other questions you may have. Your wedding photo's will not look like any other photo's you have seen. They will be vibrant, colorful, and full of life. I have had so many people tell me that mine are the best wedding photo's they have ever seen. I can't wait to have the oppotunity to work with Bend the Light again!

These ladies were phenomenal! They were so much fun to work with and I truly enjoyed having them be a part of my big day! It has been over 2 month since my wedding and I STILL get comments all the time about how gorgeous my photos are. My co-workers and friends have shared my photos with their co-workers and friends and I have gotten randomly stopped in the hallway at work by someone I don't know, saying how beautiful my wedding was after they saw my pictures. So, in case you couldn't already guess, I recommend Bend The Light wholeheartedly!

I was at my wit's end trying to find good wedding photographers who were edgy, fun, and not expensive. I was either going to have to pick shoddy cheap photographers, or boring expensive ones.

Enter Jenn and Kaylinn at Bend the Light! We met them through another couple, and I was in love with their work before we met them. I loved working with these girls - they both have a great sense of style and really responded to our ideas for photos. I love the non-posed shots they took, and the fact that they gave us all of the photos on DVD so we can use them however we want.

I really can't say enough about Bend the Light. Every time I look at our wedding photos, I feel so lucky to have found them. I made the right choice with them.

Jenn and Kaylinn shot our wedding in New Braunfels, TX (actually, Canyon Lake) in March, and the picture go to show that these girls are willing to suggest creative poses and bring out the best of the bride and groom. While I was waiting to go down the aisle I was incredibly nervous (as I should be!). I was walking down the aisle alone, and not only did I have to desend these steep stairs, I was wearing 4 inches heels! Jenn stayed with me to calm my jitters and make sure I didn't fall on my face.

We had done portraits before the ceremony, so Jenn and Kaylinn did a quick portrait session with the family after the ceremony so we could enjoy the party, and I mean it was quick. They were non-intrusive, and just let us be. They captured all the little details that we incorporated into our wedding, like our candy buffet and cupcakes. We felt relaxed and comfortable, and having them there made the day easier knowing I would have great pictures to document the entire occasion.

I can't say enough great things about them. They were fantastic. Great people, very professional, very friendly. Johnny- on-the-spot but never intrusive and always happy to do anything you asked them to do. And the photos...AMAZING! They are like works of art. Not your usual, boring point and shoot. We loved working with Bend the Light for our wedding photography. They were great to work with, and our photos turned out amazing! All our friends and family are telling us they look fantastic. BTL was also very prompt at getting our photography delivered to us! If your wedding photos are a priority for you (and they should be), then I'd highly recommend working with them!

We used Bend the Light Photography for my daughter’s bridal portrait and also for her wedding in June. Jenn and Kaylinn are amazing young ladies to work with. Not only are they sweet and accommodating but they delivered the most incredible photographs that captured every detail from preparation of the wedding site to leaving for the honeymoon and EVERYTHING in between. They delivered a CD of the photographs within a week of the wedding and a layout for the wedding album a few days following. Their attention to detail and use of light not only made great photos but created works of art that will allow us to relive that day over and over. I highly recommend them!

We had Bend the Light take our engagement photos and they were so incredible. From the time we first contacted the ladies who run it, to meeting them for our photo session: Everything went incredibly well. We almost had a scheduling issue but they worked with us and around it. Bend the Light was an incredible partner to work with for our wedding. They took our engagement photos as well as covered our ceremony and reception. We couldn't have asked for better! They thought of the best and most efficient ways to get our big families into all of the group photos we wanted after our ceremony so quickly that we had a little time to spare in between! They were kind, fun, and great with our guests. We have so many wonderful, stunning shots we will cherish forever. I hope to use them in the future!

Jenn & Kaylinn of Bend the Light are very talented. Their photos are artistic, thoughtful, & from a beautiful point of view! Although their services are quite the "splurge," I can't think of anything better to splurge on for your wedding day! I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. :)
