  Amazing Musician and Person

  Ben was such a bright point of our wedding. We had over half of our guests come up to us asking where we found him and if he could do their events. He made the focus entirely on my husband and I and did everything we asked with ZERO issues. We couldn’t be happier having him be apart of our big day.
  
  
  We wanted a subtle vibe with live music and Ben was able to conform to exactly that. The music was beautiful, people thought our first dance song was being played from a playlist but it was live. Not only was the music great but he was the easiest vendor to deal with. Flexible, willing to help, and attentive. Ben was absolutely incredible. Thank you so much!!!!

  Highlight of our wedding day!

  Ben is an absolute GEM! He is incredibly kind, talented, and has a clear passion for music. He graciously learned my preferred song to walk down the aisle to (Better Together by Jack Johnson), as well as our first dance song so we could have our dance to live music during cocktail hour. While I watched a few videos online before hiring him, I was completely blown away by experiencing his music live, in-person. He was an absolute highlight for our day and our guests are still singing his praises!

  Definitely recommend!

  We hired Ben to do our ceremony and cocktail hour music and he did such a great job! He was super easy to communicate with and was very accommodating with our requests. His list of known music was so beyond extensive, which is perfect for accommodating any requests. I am so glad we ended up decided on adding a live music aspect to our wedding.

  Ben is the BEST!

  Ben was simply amazing and helped to make our wedding day absolutely perfect! From learning two specific songs that had significant meaning to us, to being able to read the audience and provide beautiful music that was appreciated by everyone, he was the best! We would highly recommend Ben to anyone seeking an event singer. We are already looking forward to hearing him play in the near future at a local venue!

  We hired Ben to play the music during our ceremony and we cannot recommend him enough! He is such a nice person and I will forever be thankful for the absolutely BEAUTIFUL rendition of I Want to Hold Your Hand that he played as I walked down the aisle. That song is very special to me and I am so beyond grateful that he was able to make it a part of such a special moment in my life. Ben also played a song for a special moment during our ceremony and he knew exactly how to time everything perfectly even without having any rehearsal.   Exceeded Expectations.

  It was an absolute pleasure working with Ben. He was very responsive to our needs while also helping me to understand better how he could best serve our event. Ben was easy to communicate with leading up to and during our event. His talent as a "one man band" was of the highest quality and his singing was perfect for our reception. I would have zero hesitations recommending Ben for an event.

  Ben did an excellent job at my wedding! From his live singing to ensuring the sound systems were working properly, it was a pleasure to have him there for our big day. Ben was flexible, easygoing, and very detail-oriented with the timeline of the day. It was such a relief to have him handling all the music and microphones. Everyone loved his live singing, and everything went perfectly!

  SINGLE BEST WEDDING DECISION in the choice of Ben Simcox for my daughter's wedding music. He performed processional/recessional/hymns at the small chapel ceremony (with his mother on keyboard), played acoustic for the outside cocktail hour and then DJ'd the reception for 150 people @Bluestone Estates.
  From beginning to end, he was passionate, inspirational and informative with his ideas, organized, responsive and professional. He catered directly to our desires in playlists, inclusive music for all ages, and the dance floor was full the entire evening. We are so thankful to have found you Ben! You hit it out of the park :)

  Very Talented and Professional

  We hired Ben for an outdoor fundraising event. His communication was great throughout the planning stages and the price was very fair. He was the perfect choice for entertainment during the dinner portion of this event as we only received positive feedback. Two thumbs up to the harmonica, also!

  Ben was so lovely to work with! He came to both our rehearsal dinner and wedding. He provided great vocals and was willing to play with one of our family friends. They did a duet for a few of our special songs, including our first dance! Thanks for a wonderful evening!

  Ben played at our rather large 20th anniversary party this weekend and was wonderful! His music was beautiful and perfect for our party - both relaxed and elegant. I would hire Ben again, would recommend him to friends, and would very happily go hear him play at a local event. Ben delivered exactly as promised and was very easy to work with. All the audio sounded great through his sound system. We chose music for him to play from his large song list, and then in between his sets he played a spotify list of our favorites. We also used his microphone for our vow renewal ceremony and he was extremely flexible during setup to make sure the events looked and sounded their best. He is a professional who will be a delight for you and your guests!

  We hired Ben to play live music and DJ our wedding. He’s incredibly accommodating, working with us along the way, and then he handled the event flawlessly. Ben had plenty of helpful suggestions to guide us through the process of getting ready for our big day. We knew we didn’t have to worry about the musical aspect, because he had it all under control. We had plenty of people asking about him because he did such a great job. Our wedding had a very chill vibe and Ben‘s down to earth personality fit perfectly.
  
  Ben is an absolutely fantastic and talented musician playing the guitar, harmonica, cymbal and bass drum while singing and putting his own spin on songs. We now go to establishments just to see him. I’d highly recommend Ben for any event!

  Ben Simcox was hands down the best decision we made with planning our wedding!! Our initial consultation with Ben was so easy and smooth and he was so responsive during the entire planning process! The individuality of his process, allowing me to brain storm and create a unique day was very important to me. Ben played live acoustic guitar and other instruments, and HIS VOICE!!! Just making it the perfect mix of what we wanted for the ceremony and reception. Not to mention Ben was so fun to work with, played amazing music and was so flexible to my taste, changes and needs. I cannot express enough positive things about my experience with Ben and his talent.

Ben allowed us to pick a live performance set list for the dinner hour from his expansive catalog and he knocked every song out of the park! Several guests pulled me aside to rave about how amazing his voice was. Wedding day was amazing but equally impressive was Ben’s preparation and consultation before the big day. His advice and interaction with us prior was a big reason our wedding day felt completely stress free. If you want a one man live performance that sounds as full as a three piece with the ability to switch hats to DJ instantly…go with Ben! We could not be happier with him.

  I can not say enough good things about Ben and his music. His personality, communication, timeliness, knowledge of music/weddings are top notch. He helped me feel confident in our wedding day schedule and music choices. His musical talent was raved about from all of our guests. His song choices, voice, guitar, harmonica and drum were filled with such talent that I was a relaxed bride the entire day. He truly helped make my day one I’ll never forget. He was very personable to me and my guests. He was amazing with the children and has a gift of “feeling the vibe” of the crowd. He definitely pleased everyone. 10/5 stars.   Amazing!!!

  Ben was amazing! We wanted to elevate our block party with some live music. After reviewing the different options we knew Ben was our guy! He responded within hours & we were able to solidify our plans within 24 hours. Ben was prompt, professional and mostly importantly, a fantastic singer! He was able to preform for our group which had a age range of 2-85 years old! If you are considering live music for your event, Ben is a top choice! He was also very reasonably priced.

  Great experience!

  Ben played a family reunion / graduation party and was the hit of the event. There were attendees of all ages - newborn to early 70s - and all raved about the music selection and quality

  My wife and I can't say enough good things about Ben! Our wedding guests also raved about him. Ben was the perfect way to end our wedding festivities. After our DJ began to wrap up inside, Ben arrived to play acoustic guitar and sing outside on the patio. The guests loved it. He had a large selection of songs in his "catalog" and took requests too. He really catered to the group and was such a nice guy. Very professional. We would 100% recommend him for any occasion. Thank you so much, Ben! Our day was extra special thanks to you.

  Ben is incredibly professional. He met with us at the venue in advance to go over logistics. At the time, I was incredibly stressed with wedding planning and his calm, positive demeanor really helped to put me at ease. Leading up to the big day, he was consistent and responsive. For the reception, he was a hit. We got lots of complements. I have since recommended him to others.
