Ben was amazing! From the very beginning of planning, he stood out and made everything so easy. On the wedding day, he went above and beyond. He sang live, played instruments, DJ’d, and even kept things on track as the MC. The transitions from the ceremony to cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing were seamless. His live music set such a beautiful tone, and once the party started, he had everyone on the dance floor all night. He also made announcements in such a smooth, natural way that the whole evening just flowed. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how great the music was. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better musician, singer, or DJ. Ben brought so much energy and talent, and we’d recommend him to anyone looking for event music.Ben Simcox Music's reply:

Ben did an amazing job providing the music & being the MC at our wedding. His music created the perfect atmosphere & it was one of the best decisions we made. He was easy to communicate with, accommodating & spent time with us on the phone multiple times planning what would make our day special. He has a large list of songs he covers & can also use tracks for ceremony music & first/last dance songs. His voice is amazing & our guests were raving about him. Ben was hands down an AMAZING vendor choice for me and my husband's wedding on 10.19.25! Ben was super helpful and very dedicated to making sure me and my husband had our DREAM wedding and it for sure was!! 10.19.25 was truly the BEST DAY of our life and it wouldn't have been possible without Ben, our other vendors, family and close friends! Thank you Ben for all that you do, you're an AMAZING & very TALENTED DJ and live musician!!! We hired Ben to play at our wedding! He did music for the service, reception and cocktail hour. He has such an amazing voice! He had the guests singing along, requesting songs and dancing! We hired Ben to do a combination of live music and DJing at our wedding and he did a great job. When we were talking to vendors, Ben stood out not only because of his talent but also because he seemed to really get the vibe we were going for (low key garden wedding), was personable and offered helpful suggestions while also integrating our personal requests. His services were also very reasonably priced. We got many compliments on his performance throughout the day! Would highly recommend.Ben Simcox Music's reply:

Ben was the musician for my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary and he was amazing! Super chill, super flexible. He helped relieve stress the night of because he was so easygoing about everything. He played both acoustic (for which he has a large library) and also DJed for dancing. He even brought equipment so my father could play guitar, both solo, and with Ben. HIGHLY recommend for any kind of event, especially because he's so flexible and focused on making your day special.Ben Simcox Music's reply:

Eden Mill Fall Fest
Even before Ben came to play music at our event, he was very helpful when providing pricing estimates. We had reached out to many different artists, but Ben was not only the first to get back to us, but he consistently provided timely, professional work. As for the quality of his performance, it was outstanding, and many had complimented his good job during and after the event. We will be asking him to come back next year!Ben Simcox Music's reply:

We hired Ben to play the music during our ceremony and we cannot recommend him enough! He is such a nice person and I will forever be thankful for the absolutely BEAUTIFUL rendition of I Want to Hold Your Hand that he played as I walked down the aisle. That song is very special to me and I am so beyond grateful that he was able to make it a part of such a special moment in my life. Ben also played a song for a special moment during our ceremony and he knew exactly how to time everything perfectly even without having any rehearsal. Ben is an absolute GEM! He is incredibly kind, talented, and has a clear passion for music. He graciously learned my preferred song to walk down the aisle to (Better Together by Jack Johnson), as well as our first dance song so we could have our dance to live music during cocktail hour. While I watched a few videos online before hiring him, I was completely blown away by experiencing his music live, in-person. He was an absolute highlight for our day and our guests are still singing his praises!Ben Simcox Music's reply:

Single best wedding decision
SINGLE BEST WEDDING DECISION in the choice of Ben Simcox for my daughter's wedding music. He performed processional/recessional/hymns at the small chapel ceremony (with his mother on keyboard), played acoustic for the outside cocktail hour and then DJ'd the reception for 150 people @Bluestone Estates.
From beginning to end, he was passionate, inspirational and informative with his ideas, organized, responsive and professional. He catered directly to our desires in playlists, inclusive music for all ages, and the dance floor was full the entire evening. We are so thankful to have found you Ben! A talented and helpful musician
We hired Ben to play live music and DJ our wedding. He’s incredibly accommodating, working with us along the way, and then he handled the event flawlessly. Ben had plenty of helpful suggestions to guide us through the process of getting ready for our big day. We knew we didn’t have to worry about the musical aspect, because he had it all under control. We had plenty of people asking about him because he did such a great job. Our wedding had a very chill vibe and Ben‘s down to earth personality fit perfectly.
Ben is an absolutely fantastic and talented musician playing the guitar, harmonica, cymbal and bass drum while singing and putting his own spin on songs. We now go to establishments just to see him. I’d highly recommend Ben for any event!

We would highly recommend Ben for any of your musical needs
I can not say enough good things about Ben and his music. His personality, communication, timeliness, knowledge of music/weddings are top notch. He helped me feel confident in our wedding day schedule and music choices. His musical talent was raved about from all of our guests. His song choices, voice, guitar, harmonica and drum were filled with such talent that I was a relaxed bride the entire day. He truly helped make my day one I’ll never forget. He was very personable to me and my guests. He was amazing with the children and has a gift of “feeling the vibe” of the crowd. He definitely pleased everyone. 10/5 stars.
