We couldn't have loved working with Ben any more. He photographed our wedding, and we are SO HAPPY we found him! Choosing a photographer felt like a difficult, high pressure decision, but as soon as we chatted with Ben, we knew he was the one. Many people marveled over his great energy at our wedding and afterword, how he got so many shots where we didn't know he was there. He was so easy to work with from the beginning whilst being so thorough and helpful in the planning process. He has such an eye and found so many backdrops for our shoots that I never expected. He also created some really unique shots using creative techniques that were masterful. He felt like a friend throughout our whole wedding, and it was so fun to share moments with him; we never wanted him to leave! He has been completely available since the photos came out to assist us with further editing, printing, etc. He is a gem of a human and a phenomenal photographer! -

Ben was the best choice we made during our wedding planning process. If he’s available for your date, book him immediately, you’ll be so glad you did.
Many things drew us to Ben’s work. We loved his documentary style, his ability to capture emotions and feelings so vividly, and his keen eye for capturing the small non-scripted moments throughout the day. All of these things came true, but we got so much more than that from working with him. Ben was a partner in helping us plan our wedding, helping us source other vendors (all of whom were incredible), figure out timelines, and just being a friend as we went through the process. Ben helped keep us calm and grounded through the chaos of wedding planning.
We were lucky enough to get to work with Ben for our proposal, engagement, and wedding photos. Every single time his photos left us speechless. He was able to capture our love and also our personalities and quirks in ways that felt so true to us. As two people who feel very awkward in front of the camera, Ben photographed us in ways that made us feel beautiful, seen, and authentically ourselves. And not just us! When we shared our wedding album with guests everyone raved about how amazingly Ben captured them and how excited they were to get prints.
Ben is an incredibly talented photographer and even better person. There’s no one better to work with. -

Do you want to enjoy your special day and not worry about how the photos will turn out? Then you should hire Ben. Ben took our engagement photos and photographed our wedding. He was an absolute pleasure to work with and the photos that he took are ones that we will cherish and look back on throughout our lives. First he was just really fun to work with, a very calming vibe that was felt during the duration of the process. He was clear, direct and communicative which helped the process move smoothly. At the engagement session and the wedding we were totally impressed with his creativity in getting uniquely beautiful photos and his attention to details.
I would recommend Ben to anyone that is looking for a photographer. We are forever grateful for how he helped make our day so special and gave us pictures that will last a lifetime. Thank you Ben! -

My husband and I are thrilled with Ben’s work! He captured beautifully every emotion we and our guests felt on our wedding day.
Very pleased with Ben’s documentary style approach to photography: the photos are completely immersive of the whole day allowing us to relive it indefinitely. Ben knew every moment to capture!
Although we weren’t actually able to meet Ben before our wedding day, we didn’t feel anything to worry about. We sensed that we could just let him do his job. Both in the planning and in person, Ben made everyone feel so comfortable, especially my husband and me who do not love having our photo taken! Ben made it all fun.
So grateful to have been able to work with Ben! -

My husband's only request for our wedding was to enjoy the day and not have to pose for too many photos. Ben delivered!! He's easy going and absolutely incredible at documentary style photography. With all of the pomp and circumstance that goes with weddings, Ben captures what's real and authentic. His creativity and passion shine through in his work. Ben's photography is a great reminder of what it's all about. I'm so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Ben! -

Choose Ben, you won't regret it!
We truly feel so lucky to have had Ben Hudson capture our wedding day this past September. Not only did he travel down to MA from VT, but he did so at 12am after capturing another wedding that night! Leading up to our wedding day, he was extremely responsive and so helpful with the planning. His calm yet hilarious personality put my husband and I at ease in front of the camera. The photos we've received so far are breathtaking and truly capture the emotions and energy of the day. Not only have my husband and I been raving about Ben but so have our guests who enjoyed his company, humor and his ability to get shots of our rowdy crew without even knowing he was there. We scheduled him for 8 hours yet he stayed for the entirety of our reception to make sure he got everything. Basically, just choose Ben Hudson as your wedding photographer - you will not regret it! -

Ben Hudson: Superhero with a Camera
Ben was recommended to us by a mutual friend and we could not be more thankful to have made this connection. We were supposed to have a giant wedding last weekend but due to COVID were forced to postpone our big celebration. Rather than wait, my now husband and I decided to get married in a small ceremony with immediate family only (10 people). Our new venue for this year is entirely outdoors and we really didn’t have a back up plan for poor weather. Of course, the weather forecast leading up to the day was getting worse and worse. Ben was all in rain or shine and even quickly let us know he was available throughout the weekend if we decided to change the day/time. When the day arrived, the rain showed up in full force. However about an hour before our ceremony the clouds parted and the sun appeared. In an instant, it was a beautiful summer evening. Ben is incredibly easy going, radiates positive energy, and has IMMENSE talent behind a lens. Within 48 hours, we had 10 beautiful photos to share. We can’t wait to see the rest and are so excited to work with him again next year for our big celebration (🤞🏼). THANK YOU BEN! -

We had planned our wedding last summer long before COVID was a thing. We had debated postponing but decided to keep our date of 7/4/20. I didn't think there would be a whole lot to capture but Ben did an amazing job. I love the work he did for us and its been so hard to pick favorites because they are all just that good! Do yourself and hire Ben you won't be disappointed! -

I officiated at a friend's wedding where Ben was the photographer, and even as just the officiant, I went and bought quite a few images of the wedding day afterward. Ben was highly creative in his photography, the final results were absolutely stunning, and he was always friendly and accommodating. -

We could not have been happier with a photographer. Ben was incredibly kind and thoughtful as he guided us through the process, and captured incredible and beautiful photos at our wedding. From the get-go, he was accommodating and communicative. He helped us develop a flexible day-of schedule, did scouting for optimal locations, and made us feel comfortable (and laugh a lot!) during our solo shots. At the ceremony and reception, he captured so many incredible moments and made us feel like we didn't have to worry about anything. He told such a beautiful story with his photos - looking back at them brings us back to the best parts of the day. We are beyond thankful to have had Ben as our photographer. He was amazing! -

Ben did an incredible job capturing our Labor Day weekend wedding at Basin Harbor in Vermont! He was wonderful to work with, very responsive, and helped us figure out our flow/timeline for the day. As someone who can be a bit awkward in front of the camera, Ben was great at making us feel comfortable and smile naturally in the photos. He came down to Boston, where we live, for our engagement photos. It was great to not only have beautiful photos from our city, but also to help us get comfortable in front of the camera. Ben has a documentarian style, which is exactly what we were looking for. Beautiful formal photos, which we got done quickly, but mainly a non-intrusive style with great candid shots and capturing the essence of the day and all the special moments. Ben was great at corralling our large bridal party (10 each), and was great with the 3 kids in our wedding too. Ben put everyone at ease, reducing our stress and making formal photos fun, and seamlessly captured our wedding, with amazing shots. I would absolutely recommend Ben for your wedding, he was a pleasure to work with! -

The best decision we made planning our wedding was to choose Ben Hudson as our photographer! He did both our engagement photos and captured our wedding day. As people who don't like the sotlight on us, Ben made us feel comfortable with having photos taken of us. Rather than feeling like I had been posing the entire wedding day, Ben was in the background capturing the important moments I don't ever want to forget. The formal photos with the bridal party and families were painless and quick so we could have fun too! The day after our wedding Ben sent us a handful of the photos and with only having seen those so far I am in awe! Ben is a very talented and creative photographer and it shows by not only the end photo but by how he captures it. Along with all of this, Ben was a huge help when it came to the planning aspect of the wedding day and timeline too. Choose Ben Hudson as your wedding photographer, you will not regret it! -

My husband and I met Ben Hudson a few months before our wedding. After meeting for coffee, we knew he would bring great energy and creativity to our wedding. We did engagement photos in the winter-- which turned out amazing with the snow covered hills and lake views. We also give him a lot of props for going out in the snow with wind/cold temperatures and making it a great experience! He came to our welcome event before the wedding, which was a great way to capture a more casual environment (great candid photos). On the wedding day, he was so organized and had planned out the best spots for lighting ect. He captured so many special moments and we could not be more happy with how the photos turned out!! So glad we were able to work with Ben and look forward to having him capture more special events in the future! -

From beginning stages of planning right on through the wedding day, Ben was responsive, helpful, and all around great to work with! He also made us feel so relaxed and at ease, giving us helpful guidance and just having a great spirit. We loved working with Ben so much.... and then our photos came in and we were blown away! The quality, colors, feelings he captured helps us to relive one of the best days of our lives and will be something that we will cherish forever.
