Darin is amazing!

Darin was great! We had a few specific song selections but largely left song choice up to him with some genre suggestions and the music was a hit. The second the dance floor was open everyone was up and dancing and didn’t stop until the last song. He was extremely professional and helped keep our event organized and on time. I will absolutely recommend him to any of my friends getting married and will use him in the future for any events needing a DJ.

We loved working with Darin!

Darin was a great addition to our wedding day. He was so thorough beforehand by asking us all the small questions we hadn't even thought of. On our wedding day, Darin took care of ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception music. He was very adaptive and allowed us to make a lot of specific requests. We would 100% hire Darin again!

The Perfect Choice

Darin, the owner of Belt It Out, is exactly what you want in a wedding vendor. We cannot imagine a better choice! From the outset, he was very personable and communicative. He took the time to get to know exactly what we wanted, and has the experience to take that from an idea and turn it into reality. He is very skilled in planning and organizing well in advance of the wedding, so there was never any stress on our part. He made an amazingly detailed schedule of events that all of our other wedding vendors used as their baseline. Once the wedding started, everything was perfectly orchestrated and was a breeze. At the reception, his music selection kept the dance floor full the entire night. He is great at making sure every guest is aware of major milestones coming up, and getting important announcements out. We had several guests tell us how impressed they were with him, both on the organization and music side. We could not have been happier! If we could make any suggestion for a wedding, it would be to hire Darin.

Spectacular DJ!

Darin was an amazing DJ and was very easy to work with. He was very organized leading up to the event and worked with us to make sure he completely understood the timeline we provided him. We gave him a difficult task to blend music from different cultures into the wedding and he excelled with flying colors. All our guests told us that Darin made the party very special. Amazing Wedding DJ

Darin joined our list of wedding vendors as our DJ and we couldn't have gotten a better one. He is flexible and made sure we thought of the music throughout each moment of the entire night, all without giving us any stress. He let us select our preferences while also filling in some of the gaps himself based on our own choice in music genre. Darin is so professional and made sure our guests had a blast. So much fun!

We worked with Darin for our Easter weekend wedding at Meadowlark Gardens. He is a blast and great at matching the vibes of the party. He used our playlist and also included music similar to our style. The music for our ceremony was queued flawlessly. The pink uplights he provided were so cool and helped transform the daytime garden atmosphere into a party. Darin helped create a wedding schedule with timings of everything and provided wonderful suggestions. He is very experienced, professional, easy to communicate with, and so much fun! We were so happy to work with him!!

Darin was incredible!

We found Darin at a local bridal expo, and I could not be happier!! He was amazing to work with, provided excellent guidance and helped our wedding day run at smooth as possible! Everything from the ceremony to the cocktail hour and reception was incredible. He kept the dance floor full all night and kept us all on schedule. We highly recommend him to everyone!!

Great experience!

Darin from Belt It Out Productions did a great job DJing our wedding! He was easy to work with and responsive over email. He sent us a form to fill out to give him an idea of our musical taste, instructions for wedding party introductions, toasts, first dance, and so on. We appreciated how organized he was. He went over everything with us on a phone call the week before and made sure he knew name pronunciations, etc. We also sent him a Spotify playlist to play before our ceremony as guests were arriving, which was a big hit with everyone. He provided all his own equipment and we didn't have any technical issues. Highly recommended overall.

Outstanding!

Darin is consummate professional! He was not only responsive to our needs, he was proactive in anticipating them too. In tune with the crowd and able to support all of the little details, like announcements as we shifted activities and ensuring all of the tables were directed to the buffet, so there wasn't a line. The dance floor was hopping!! And we really appreciated the sentimental touches like the anniversary dance and our final dance when he got everyone on the dance floor. Definitely recommend. Amazing DJ Experience, 10/10 Recommend!

Darin was such a phenomenal addition to our wedding day and provided service above and beyond! He was equal parts a professional who provided wisdom and expert insight with putting together the timeline for the day, and an ultimate cheerleader who kept the energy alive for the whole night. We quite literally had the majority of our guests on the dance floor until the very end due to him! He is a great communicator both in the preparation and planning process prior to the wedding day, and throughout the day itself. I would not think twice to recommend him to someone I loved who was getting married, and have recommended him to many of my friends already. The best DJ ever!

Darin was the best DJ ever for our 2022 winter wedding! From his superior organization, professionalism, and kindness, we could not have had a better experience. Darin is extremely thorough and organized in his process to curate the highest quality event. He will walk you through everything from announcements, timing, best practices, playlists/ song types for each moment of the day, things that we would have never event thought of. Darin had many calls with us to walk us through the process, learn name pronunciations, and connected with the venue. He created the PERFECT playlist for our day from the pre-ceremony through the reception. As all of our guests said, BEST DANCE FLOOR EVER! We could not recommend Darin enough!!

Wonderful DJ for a Perfect Night

Organized, flexible, and willing to get out from behind the DJ table to MC events

When looking for a DJ, my wife and I knew we were exploring the possibility of doing unconventional things during our wedding reception. We also knew that we wanted things to move along on time and for guests to be informed. Therefore, we looked for a DJ who was comfortable with being an MC, willing to try different things, and most of all who was very organized. Darin of Belt It Out Productions wound up being our pick because he fit seemed to cover all three of those traits. He lived up to our expectations, and we would highly recommend him.

Darin came up with several drafts of a schedule as we communicated back and forth in the time leading up the wedding, and ultimately he had a schedule planned down to the minute.

In the end, the only unconventional activity we wound up doing during the reception was to have a trivia game about the wedding couple. Darin was more than willing to get out from behind the DJ's table to announce questions and answers for the trivia game and to interact with guests.

For the actual DJ portion, Darin played all our must-play songs and selected songs according to the genres we had discussed. This was solid and everyone had a good time dancing (and I had a good time embarrassing myself with my dance moves).

All in all, we were very happy with our DJ\MC experience.

Best dj ever!

Last October, after we had to quickly change our wedding plans to be a tiny backyard ceremony due to COVID-19, Darin agreed to still provide music for us and was also helpful in the overall planning including organization of timeline and even music recommendations when we couldn’t decide. As a nurse who was caring for patients and exhausted, my husband and I seriously contemplated waiting another year, but with Darin’s confidence, guidance, and expertise, we decided to bring something positive to a challenging year and go ahead with the ceremony. He very much made the day special and carefree.

Exactly one year later, on our 1st anniversary, we were able to finally celebrate with our family & friends. Darin once again provided his planning and coordination expertise working with all our vendors. He made sure the dance floor was NEVER empty! We danced & partied the night away as we always imagined.

Great to work with through all the bumps

I want to preface this by saying I did not end up having a wedding with a DJ thanks to COVID. We were originally supposed to get married in April and Darin dealt with all our postponements like a pro. He was responsive and helpful prior to booking him, and just as responsive and helpful when I had to reschedule twice and then cancelled on him.

Darin kept the party going

Darin was awesome from the moment we hired him, he impressed us with his professionalism and great vibes. The Belt it Out Productions experience was seamless, Darin efficiently got an idea of who we were, the party we wanted to have and the music we liked. We met a few times over the phone and went over the timeline that he assembled down to the minute! Darin communicated with our wedding planner and made it stress-free for us, a week before the wedding we did a final run through and made sure he had proper pronunciation for everyone's' names. The Day of Darin arrived early and had everything set up so after the ceremony the music and good times started promptly. Darin had a great playlist and made sure that guests of all ages were enjoying themselves and the music. He kept to the scheduled events but did not inhibit the flow of the night or dance floor for cake-cutting or special dances, He also made reminders for guests to remember to wear masks and keep social distance on the dance floor. At the end of the night we were sad the party was over but so glad we had Darin DJing and MCing the night.

Great DJ - both talented and a total professional!

We met Darin at a vendor showcase shortly after we got engaged - we didn't have a venue or a date yet, but we were so impressed that we knew we would want to hire him once we had the date and venue squared away. There were two DJs at that showcase, and I don't think we would've known what to look for if we hadn't seen the difference between the two. The first DJ just talked about the music and had some videos of weddings she worked. Next, we met Darin. Darin talked about the organization, planning, etc - down to how he makes sure he has the correct pronunciations of everyone's names for the introductions - as well as the process of selecting music and reading the room. Darin was just obviously an expert both on the music side and the planning/event management side.

Luckily, Darin was available when we were ready to book about a month after we first met. He was so easy to work with, and arrived the day of the wedding with plenty of time to set up and ensure things were ready to go. He is so nice, as well. He did a great job with the music, of course, and the dance floor was packed all night. We can't recommend him enough!

Incredible DJ!

We were so incredibly happy with our decision to book Darin for our DJ! What you really need with a DJ is yes, good music, but perhaps more importantly a great master of ceremony who can keep the trains running on time! Darin was definitely this for us. He worked seamelessly with our venue to make sure that the order of events flowed well and incorporated a range of specific requests that we made of him. He was super communicative with us throughout the process and very organized, which I appreciated. He's fun enough to set a good tone for the event but serious enough to keep us organized and on task. I would absolutely recommend him for your wedding!

Amazing! Great to work with.

Darin was such a professional and so much fun. The communication leading up to our wedding was so great. We never had any questions about what was happening or what needed to take place. Amazing experience

Darin was just great. He was very easy to work with and really cared about making the experience our own. I appreciated the time he spent ensuring that our playlist got worked into the night and was flexible with changes as they arose. He commits himself to the event in full, even being the one to hold doors for me and find my dinner when I got a moment to eat. We appreciated his attention to detail, such as triple checking name pronunciations and making sure we were introduced just as we wanted to be. Awesome dj!

We were absolutely blown away by Darin’s taste in music, professionalism, and experience. Every song he played was right on point – from the pre-ceremony music to the dance floor. After our first conversation with Darin, we knew he would be the perfect fit for our wedding. He understood our vision and truly brought it to life!

Not only did Darin play great music, but he also did a phenomenal job communicating with our different vendors to make sure every piece of our special day went smoothly. From coordinating with the officiant, to our venue coordinator, and the photographer, Darin played a key role in setting the perfect pace for the evening. He even helped to make sure our photographer was able to snap a few large group photos on the dance floor!

Perfect DJ for our day

Darin did an amazing job at our wedding at the American horticultural society in Alexandria, VA. Not only did he play great music that everyone danced to the whole night but he assisted with the toasts and made sure they went well.

Music made simple

Darin made the reception planning simple and organized. His attention to detail allowed for a seamless flow of music throughout the reception and extremely happy guests! Keeps the party going!

Darin was amazing! He is professional, attentive, and really knows how to get a crowd dancing. We requested a mixture of classic favorites and modern hits, and to end the night with 90s songs. Darin totally delivered and the dance floor was packed all night long!

Darin's attention to detail is unparalleled--he has a full "run of show" document that he has couples complete and works with your planner/coordinator to make sure their timelines are aligned. He is happy to work with you if you have specific songs you want to hear (or don't want to hear)--but he'll also pull it all together if you're more hands off. Darin does a great job of giving guests a heads up when things are happening (transitioning from cocktails to dinner, the cake cutting, etc.) in a way that doesn't feel awkward or interrupt the flow. For the quality of services you get, he's also affordable relative to other DJs in the area.

As an added bonus--he's the nicest guy! I told our 6-year-old nephew he could choose the first song of the night to get people dancing, and Darin let him press "play" on his equipment. Our nephew was super pumped and it's a moment he'll always remember!

He kept the night moving

Darin did a great job mixing our varied musical tastes, it was seamless. He played classic jazz standards for the reception, Latin and 80's New Wave for the dancing, and sprinkled in a couple of ethnic dance songs to boot. He kept the dance floor packed! We got so many complements on the music. The best part about it was how organized Darin was, he made it simple for us.

DARIN IS AMAZING!!! During the wedding planning process, I was extremely worried about finding the right DJ for our wedding. I am so glad the venue recommended him! From the beginning, Darin was professional and patient with us. We had no clue what we were doing but he made sure to consistently reach out to us to check on our progress with picking out the songs we wanted for our wedding. From the ceremony to the reception, everything transitioned seamlessly and the music WAS ON POINT. He had everyone out on the dance floor and knew exactly what songs to play for the crowd! I was planning my son's wedding from out-of-state and Darin made it so easy!! He arranged his schedule to meet with us when we were in town to discuss details and was very attentive via email when the rest of arrangements needed to be done long distance. Darin kept in touch with us during the entire planning process. Wedding day was awesome thanks to Darin being the master of ceremonies....keeping everyone on time and having fun. If my other kids get married in the VA area, Darin would be my first call!! Very reasonably priced for all that he does!

Darin was incredibly detailed and helpful throughout the whole process. From beginning to end, he made sure that everything was just right! The reception went smoothly, all thanks to Darin. Even though we had a few day-of changes, we had no trouble. Darin made sure to let guests know when the important things were about to happen, pronounced everyone's names correctly, and kept the dance floor PACKED. Darin help make my wedding planning as stress free as possible. He was so prepared and knew so much about weddings that I didn't even think of. A couple days before the wedding we had a phone call meeting to go over the entire event and the flow of the wedding. The wedding ceremony and reception went off seamlessly. Darin worked with the event planner and all of the events stayed on schedule. His music was exactly what I wanted, considering we had a huge age range of guests. He played popular songs that lasts through generations and really got the party started.

Darin was absolutely delightful to work with. He accommodated all our requests, played excellent music for every single portion of our wedding (ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner) and had the dance floor packed for the entire time. My wife and I could not have been happier with Belt it Out Productions’ services. Darin was professional and punctual. His music selection was perfect – the dance floor was packed the entire night.

Darin was very easy to work with, right from the very outset of our planning process. He had us fill out a questionnaire that helped him develop a flow of events; at no point was he pushy, only asked thoughtful questions that helped us build a great program events. As a DJ, we couldn’t have asked for better music. He did a great job mixing up the music and getting people to stay on the dance floor – he always seemed to know the right song to play next. What he played was exactly what we wanted, yet it was always something that felt fresh and exciting.

When you book Darin, you also get a timekeeper. He kept us on track with all of the reception-related events (dinner, first dance, toasts, etc.). Without him, we would have most certainly gotten off-track and would not have enjoyed ourselves as much as we did. That said, at no point did we feel stressed or as if we were being pushed to hurry things along. We’d strongly recommend Belt it Out for weddings or other events for which you need a DJ/MC.

I cared most about the music at the wedding so finding the right DJ was very important. Right from the start Darin was extremely helpful. He sent us a bunch of wedding playlists to help us get an idea of what we wanted for our day. He spoke with us a few times over the phone leading up to our wedding and did exactly as we asked for our important day. Darin showed up early and had everything ready to go before our guests arrived. He is friendly and professional and I would highly recommend him!

We hired Darin for our wedding and are so grateful that we did! He came highly recommended from our venue, and I can now see why! Darin is wonderful and is so great to work with. He always responded to emails and phone calls in a timely manner. He offered great advice and suggestions for everything in the planning process, such as the flow of the reception and which order to do things in (i.e. mother/son dance, father/daughter dance, bouquet and garter toss, cake cutting, etc.). While planning it was always very clear that he had a lot of experience, because he would often ask questions about very minor details that I had never even thought about. Both during the planning process and on the day of the wedding he was very organized. His communication with other vendors on the day of the wedding was excellent too, such as timing things with the caterer and photographer. Probably my favorite thing about him though was that he was personable and did not just see us as another client, but he really wanted to play a part in making our wedding day everything that we wanted it to be. I would recommend him to anyone! Thanks Darin!

Darin did a FANTASTIC job as DJ/MC at our wedding! He skillfully used a combination of our song requests (provided in advance) and his own on-the-fly selections to keep the dance floor lively the whole reception! Darin also kept our guests informed on the timing of special events (dances, toasts, cake-cutting, etc.) and made customized announcements, such as requesting that guests use our photobooth and take home extra desserts! We received a lot of compliments from our guests on how fun and organized the wedding was, and Darin was a HUGE part of making that happen! And as great as the wedding itself was, I am most grateful for all the time and effort Darin put in BEFORE our event. Weeks beforehand he helps you create a planning worksheet and an order of events master schedule that outlines exactly what songs you want played and when. Darin is very detail orientated and I loved having a minute-by-minute schedule of the wedding day that I could share with the wedding party and other vendors if needed. It made the day of much less stressful to know that someone was watching the time and making sure everything happened as planned. Darin is also extremely flexible (another member of our wedding party asked to give a toast just a few minutes before they were scheduled to begin and he adjusted perfectly!) and listened to all of our requests to make sure the event was exactly what WE wanted. Darin is professional, organized, and fun and we would highly recommend him to DJ any event!

Darin was absolutely amazing! We held our wedding on April 1, 2017 at the Carlyle Club. From the start, he was incredibly professional and was fun to work with. He met with us in person almost a year prior to our wedding and laid everything out that he would be doing, asked for our input, and took our input throughout the whole process. He put together our timeline for the day of and made sure everything ran according to schedule, almost as if to act as a day-of coordinator. Darin had our song list ready for the ceremony, the cocktail hour, and the reception. He put all of the events in order (such as garter toss, cake cutting, etc.) and developed a timeline for the whole evening. He stuck to it and everything went so incredibly smoothly! There was even a time when I had a dress malfunction and I motioned to him to keep a song going that was supposed to end, and he caught right on! He doesn’t miss a beat! His ability to fit in and handle things that came up last minute was apparent, and it seemed effortless! The vibe during the whole evening was wonderful. When it was time to start dancing, there was literally not one song where the dance floor wasn’t full! Everyone danced the whole night! The music was amazing! Not only are his DJ services wonderful, his personality is too! It was as if we had been friends for years! He is fun to work with and made sure everyone else had the best time too! If we were able to give him more than 5 stars, we most definitely would! We would 100% have Darin as our DJ again for any event we have in the future, and he will most definitely be getting our recommendations going forward! Without him, it is safe to say our wedding would not have been nearly as amazing as it was!

Darin was phenomenal!! We had a music themed wedding and his music did notttt disappoint!! He played all of our requests and kept the dance floor full all night!! He was a blast and it was a pleasure working with him. We met at a wedding expo and to be honest I was nervous at first, because I quickly liked him and we "clicked" but I wasn't sure if that was enough, but it truly was! Darin was great! We loved his attention to detail and organization in planning out our reception, from the introduction of the bridal party through the last song of the night. We booked Darin for our 2/17/17 wedding, based of the suggestion of our venue, The Carlyle Club. From the initial email, Darin was responsive, prompt, professional and helpful. We worked with Darin closely to develop a play list for cocktails, dinner and dancing that matched our tastes as well as accommodated the vast age ranges we had present at the wedding. Darin provided excellent feedback and clear details and suggestions. He developed a "day of" order of events and worked with the venue to make sure everything went just as planned. Prior to the wedding, Darin reviewed all the details with us to make sure everything matched our vision. From the processional to the last dance- everything was perfect! Darin was professional, fun and the perfect DJ and day of coordinator for our wedding. He made sure to prompt us when special dances or toasts were coming up- and he seamlessly dealt with any changes in the schedule. My biggest wish was to keep the dance floor busy all night- and Darin did exactly that! He was wonderful about keeping guests dancing. Our guests have commented many times on how wonderful the music was and how much fun our wedding reception was. People kept coming up to us and saying " I love this song!" and " This DJ is fantastic!" Please consider Darin for your wedding or event- he is absolutely wonderful and highly recommended!!!

We highly recommend Belt it out Productions. From first meeting Darin over a year ago at a bridal show up thru the wedding last weekend everything had been very well organized. My husband and I first met with Darin after attending a bridal show and we were in mutual agreement for the cost and service he fit the bill.

From the initial planning to day of execution Darin was flexible and worked with us. Even up to the night of the event. prior to the wedding we exchanged emails and talked on the phone to go thru the events of the evening and ensure pronouncing of bridal party names were correct. Also we went over what songs we really wanted and provided a do not play list.

In addition to being the DJ for your wedding Darin also served as our MC for the evening - going a step further and coordinated the event timeline with our onsite venue planner.

If you are looking for a DJ we highly recommend Belt it Out Productions. You will not regret your decision.

Darin and spoke several times completing the document for the reception. I was able to provide must play songs and make my reception personalized with a few special dances. Before the reception date, we went line by line to ensure everything was correct and everyone's names were pronounced correctly.

He had great ideas for our reception event and he listened to all our vision and ideas as well. Darin did a phenomenal job every step of the way. He was able to take our very sparce information and our sample playlist, to ask us a few questions, and then put together a playlist that was absolutely perfect for our crowd. He worked directly with our planner to figure out the correct lighting and an extra sound system requirement. Darin read the crowd well to keep everyone dancing and the place hopping until the very end of the reception. We can only give Darin and Belt It Out Productions an A-1 rating.

We used Darin for a 5K event, not a wedding. This was the 5th time I've used him and can say I would never consider anyone else for it. He brings such good energy with great and current music along with some older classics. We had people dancing and singing along, even though there wasn't a primary focus on the music. He got people paying attention and having a good time. Darin also made numerous announcements for us, doing whatever we asked while keeping things light and fun. I would definitely recommend Darin to anyone, and for any time of event!!

We booked Darin for our wedding on 3/19/16, based on a recommendation from our venue (the Carlyle Club). We were told Darin was ex-military, super organized, likable and that he kept events moving. It sounded good to us, so we decided to go with him.

Darin was all of that and more. What really struck us about him was how detail oriented he was. He provided a schedule of events that was down to the minute; this saved us so much time, hassle and frustration!! He really took such a load off of us, it was worth the price alone!

Darin was also very accommodating. We had quite the mixed crowd, and he was very aware of volume levels and the types of songs that would appeal to all of our guests. He was also totally willing to humor our ridiculousness! For example, our wedding party entered the reception to "The Safety Dance"; Darin didn't miss a beat and seemed genuinely excited about it. He also found our cake cutting song (which was from a now-defunct indie LA band)- very cool. Little details like that helped make our reception what we wanted most. Darin also provided us with some fun purple up-lighting, which really added so much to the atmosphere at our wedding.

All in all, we really had a great experience with Belt It Out Productions. Communication was excellent (which is incredibly important to me), the music was fun, he kept people on the dance floor, and everything was handled in a professional manner with a positive attitude. We would absolutely recommend without reservation!!

In a word, amazing! From our first meeting through to our day of, Darin was helpful, informative, attentive, professional and above all FUN! His approach to getting to know us and learn about our taste in music was thorough and his questionnaire really made it easy and comfortable for us to share our information. Darin worked closely with our planner and their timelines were within minutes of each other based on independent conversations we had with them.
Darin’s song choices were spot on with our music tastes. My husband is a music fiend and was completely satisfied with Darin's music knowledge and extensive music library.
Overall, our family and friends had a wonderful time. Darin even got all of us, elderly guests included, out on the dance floor for a group dance to “Shout!” It was so much fun and is one of my favorite moments of our special day. We truly enjoyed ourselves. Thank you Darin, for doing a wonderful job of making it perfect!

Darin DJ'd our New Years Day wedding. What a great choice! At the very beginning Darin outlined the process that he goes through to make our evening a success and it put our minds at ease. He then worked with us to map out the evening's events and music that went along with it. He was so easy to work with, professional, honest, knew and easily worked with our other vendors, either had or easily got the songs we wanted, constantly checked in with us about how we were doing and helping is navigate what we needed to do for the wedding, and was incredibly helpful the day of our wedding (especially when we had a couple of issues with the venue - he navigated those issues perfectly). We also had certain requests (no line dances, who could request songs aka no kids, certain songs we wanted at certain times, etc) and he covered them all without issue. When one guest begged for a line dance he made sure to check in with me before doing it. He was one of the vendors I didn't have to worry about and that was just fantastic on such an amazing and hectic day.

He also took a bunch of pictures of our wedding that were great shots that are photographers/guests couldn't get because he had a better vantage point then them. Also some of the first real pictures I had from my wedding were the ones he posted on Facebook and again, looked great.

I cannot recommend him enough and if I ever have another big party I will try and hire him without question.

Darin has been the DJ for a large client corporate event for 4 years (or more). He does an excellent job reading the crowd and getting people up and out on the dance floor. He is always professional and presents himself very well. He is extremely easy to work with prior and during the event. Darin was our DJ for our wedding on October 3rd and he was phenomenal. The DJ was probably the vendor I was most concerned about hiring and we talked to more DJs than cake bakeries, caterers and florists combined before finding Darin. When we finally did speak to him, we knew immediately he was our guy. We were not interested in kitchy games, or a DJ as our Master of Ceremonies who would take on the spotlight. Darin is professional, incredibly organized, and (most importantly) knows how to keep people on the dance floor.

During the planning process, he provided sample playlists to help us get a sense of what to expect. He also kept us incredibly organized in terms of the event timeline. All the logistics that we didn't think of, Darin had covered. At the wedding itself, he was very flexible with our requests and was able to blend these requests into a playlist that had everyone from my 22 year old sister to my husband's 93 year old grandma out on the dance floor. We can't thank him enough for being part of a perfect day and being so integral in making it that way.

We had an excellent experience with Darin as our DJ! Throughout the entire process of wedding planning, he coordinated with us through email and was very detailed and thorough. He helped us shape our entire reception in regards to the timeline of events--and kept us on track through the night! From the moment we first met him to talk about our wedding, he was extremely knowledgeable and professional. We have now used Darin from Belt it Out Productions for 4 school events and couldn't recommend him more. The music is current and energetic and, when asked, takes care of any announcements we have. Darin provided DJ services for our wedding and was very meticulous and professional. He set up multiple meetings with us in preparation for the wedding and helped us arrange the timeline of the whole event, paying attention to every detail. He was extremely organized and very responsive. In addition to curating the music throughout the event, Darin made sure to keep the flow of the event in check, making announcements about different parts of the evening, following precisely what we had agreed on. For the most important part of the job, namely playing music that everyone enjoyed and could dance to, the filled dance floor spoke for itself. Darin accommodated many different musical tastes and at the same time managed to keep the dance floor full. He had good suggestions as we went through the track selection process with him in preparation

Darin was great! He kept everyone dancing. Our dance floor was filled the entire night. When he noticed that people were sitting down he did large group numbers. That brought everyone - young and old - to the dance floor. He was great about doing it only when needed. We didn't feel as though he was talking the whole night, just enough to keep people informed about wedding details and keep everyone dancing.

Once you sign a contract with Darin he will provide you with sample playlists. We actually provided a list of the music we liked and he did a great job of picking and choosing songs for multiple generations.

We received a lot of great feedback from our guests. They loved the songs and the volume. Darin played the music loud enough that you felt like part of the dance floor, but soft enough that you could still carry on conversations at the tables. I'm sure you could have him turn it up or down depending on what you like, but we thought it was perfect.

In terms of the planning process, he was very organized and comprehensive. He was also very patient when we didn't respond right away, yet always followed up.

We highly recommend working with Darin!

Darin was an absolute pleasure to work with. We cannot thank him enough for the outstanding DJ/MC services he provided at our wedding. Darin’s professionalism during the planning process and the day-of really shined through. From day 1 of working with Darin, he made planning as easy as possible. He used several different documents to guide the entire process – from determining the music style that would best compliment our vision of the event, to an actual minute by minute timeline for the day of. He thinks of every little detail and goes over it well in advance of the wedding so that you truly have peace of mind when it comes to the big day. Darin goes above and beyond typical DJ services to make sure everything runs smoothly. He joined us on a site visit to our venue to ensure he would have all of the proper equipment, he checked-in with us on a regular basis, and he even took great photos during our wedding (some shots our photographer didnt even capture). Our guests had quite the mix of music tastes, but Darin was able to find the right balance to get everyone on the dance floor. During the planning process, we reviewed several different sample playlists to come up with our unique playlist, and Darin was able to accommodate special requests. For example, he played excerpts of songs during the dinner portion of the event and when the bridal party made their entrances. My grandparents and my friends from college alike were raving about the music, which i think says a lot! We also had our guests moving from the main floor to a cocktail hour space, back to the main floor, and into a tent during the course of our wedding... Darin was able to quickly and politely instruct our guests to get everyone where they needed to be. He truly MC'ed our night by making multiple announcements throughout the evening and keeping us on our timeline. We couldn't be more happy with selecting Belt It Out Productions -- I would highly recommend him to anyone getting married.

Darin's high level of service, professionalism and experience made for a truly amazing day for us. We absolutely love Darin! He was such a pleasure to work with from beginning to end. Extremely professional, straightforward, responsive and helpful throughout the process. He provided a number of samples to choose from and fully accommodated all of our wishes. There was a mix up with communication between the caterer and the DJ's timeline, but they worked it out quickly and quietly - no one even noticed. Our dance floor was packed all night and we received a ton of compliments about the music during dinner/cocktail hour and during the dancing portion of the evening. Everyone was having so much fun, we decided not to interrupt dancing to cut the cake, which he was completely flexible about. Highly recommend!

We met Darin at an expo at our venue, and were immediately impressed with his professionalism, and his musical tastes which jived so well with ours! Over the following months leading up to the ceremony, Darin was very helpful in guiding our thoughts on the ceremony and the reception, providing sample outlines that gave us an opportunity to think about what we wanted out of our day and what the soundtrack to it was to be. During the reception the dance floor was never empty, and Darin kept the party jumping with a great mix of songs old and new.

Darin also provided services outside of DJing, notably providing some extra lighting to help make our venue look especially good. Even up to the day itself he was checking up on us, making suggestions and generally doing all he could to help the day go along smoothly. Really, just a super-friendly, super-professional, and super-helpful guy, and a great DJ to boot!

Darin was our DJ/MC on October 25, 2014.

If you are in the midst of wedding planning one of the things you will come to value is the confidence that an element of the event is locked down. Knowing that X, Y, or Z "is taken care of" is such a relief.

This is what Darin brought to our wedding. We were referred to Darin by the venue. We talked to him on the phone and were immediately comfortable with him. We were confident he would do a good job.

That confidence was well-placed. We met with Darin prior to the event. He ran through the details. He had good tips and listened to our thoughts. Darin was polite and reassuring.

The day of Darin did an excellent job. Darin provided the music for our ceremony, the cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing. Every part of it sounded great. A LOT of our guests took the time to note how great the music was. Darin was timely and set up long before the ceremony started.

Darin also served as an MC. He has a professional delivery. Nothing cheesy or out of place.

Darin was communicative. E-mails were responded to promptly and professionally.

We would not hesitate to recommend Darin to friends and family.

Darin was a phenomenal DJ at our wedding! We have nothing but the highest compliments to pay to him. As my husband and I reflect on our reception, we only have the fondest memories, as everything was seamless, on time, with no surprises. Our guests loved the music and even came up to us during the reception to tell us what a great DJ we had. The fact that everything went so smoothly is a testament to all the behind-the-scenes planning and coordination that Darin did. What had first attracted us to using Darin as our DJ was his sense of organization and project management, which are essential skills for a wedding DJ. We went through multiple iterations of our reception order of events, both meeting in person and talking on the phone, making sure all the details were exactly to our specifications. He also gave us constructive feedback/suggestions for our music selections and order of events. Finally, he coordinated directly with our reception event manager to make sure all the different vendors were coordinated. What I didn't anticipate when starting the wedding planning was how much the little details matter. Darin covered them all, from giving a 5-min heads-up to the crowd when speeches were about to be made (so no one would miss them) to making sure the champagne glasses were filled prior to the toasts. My husband and I are very glad we hired Darin as our wedding DJ. Our reception was a great party, and I know the music played a big role in that. My husband and I got married on June 14, 2014 at Oatlands Plantation in Leesburg, VA. My mom and I did pretty much everything ourselves for the wedding, which is quite a stressful experience. My mom found Darin through WeddingWire. Out of all of the vendors we used for the wedding, he was the most responsive and professional. From the beginning, Darin sent me weekly e-mails to check up on our progress. I have to say coming up with music choices was one of the hardest parts for me, but he was great! Darin sent us tons of song list from some of his previous weddings and helped give advise on songs for the special parts of the wedding. Anytime I e-mailed him with a question, I got an immediate response. I had so many people ask us for our song list to use in their wedding. Extremely friendly, helpful, and flexible. We were planning a wedding from cross coast and received email/contact responses almost immediately regardless of the time of day.

On the day of the wedding, Darin acted essentially as a wedding planner/organizer, making final arrangements and coordination between all the vendors.

Music was extremely flexible and he curtailed what he played to the crowd's reactions.

We cannot say enough how thrilled we were with Darin as our wedding DJ. From the first time we met to discuss his services, through the day of our wedding, his performance was nothing short of exceptional. Darin was extremely easy to work with, responsive, professional, and he really took the time to work with us to understand OUR needs.

As many brides are, I was a bit overwhelmed in the final months leading up to the wedding, and when it came to song selection, I went into "panic-mode"; I knew certain songs that we wanted played at specific times, but I was a bit indecisive when it came to creating an actual song list. Right away, Darin stepped up and sent us several playlists to assist in the process - he even met with me two days before the wedding to run through our song selection and offered suggestions where we were still "stuck".

Darin also worked with us to create a detailed wedding timeline to ensure our big day went along as planned. While I initially found this to be helpful from an organizational standpoint, it ended up playing a tremendous role in the planning process as it got us thinking about details that we may have otherwise overlooked.

I can honestly say our big day would not have been the same without Darin. The playlist was spot-on and kept everyone (and I mean everyone) on their feet all night! Our guests are still raving about our DJ, how great the music was, and how much they enjoyed dancing all night. I am so pleased with how the night turned out; I would absolutely recommend Darin to anyone looking for a DJ!

I remembered Darin from a wedding expo I had gone to months before and reached out to him for our wedding DJ. DJ Darin Pusker is a master of his craft. He made the entire process simple and stress free for my wife and I. Not only is he a quick responder, but his experience brought new options to the table that enhanced our wedding. (This guy is a champ with diffusing drunken relative situations! haha)

Any couple knows how stressful it is to plan a wedding. "Where do I start? What is the process? What am I supposed to do? I know nothing about DJ services!" For me and my husband, music is such a large part of our lives. Our wedding day was going to be about love, laughter, and music. We wanted EVERYTHING to be perfect. After meeting with Darin we knew instantly that he was our guy. In a process that is often frenzied, crazy and stressful, Darin made us feel calm. He has the patience of a saint, and is the utmost professional. We'd been to a handful of weddings where the DJ thought it was HIS night, and that was a concern for us as well. Not with Darin! He literally ran the show! He made sure to stick to a timeline and kept things flowing throughout the evening. Even my dad couldn't believe how smoothly it all ran together. Darin knows exactly what the guests need and when they need it. My one piece of advice to brides-to-be - leave some wiggle room with the music you choose. Sometimes we forget about the folks at the wedding - the older folks, the kids, etc (which Darin reminded us of), and the wiggle room allowed him play some songs that we had never thought about but that he knew would include ALL of the guests on the dance floor. AND AGAIN HE WAS RIGHT! We left the music to the professional DJ and it was the greatest decision we made. I know that you're reading this thinking "I don't know this girl" - but pretend that you do and TAKE MY ADVICE! Darin is the shit!

It was a blessing in disguise on how we found out about Darin. It was actually through a family friend who happened to recognize his wife (a fellow co-worker) while we were at the Dulles Bridal Expo. It was definitely a process trying to find a DJ that was comparable in price and flexible with our crazy schedule. Darin was very helpful and incredibly patient with us throughout the planning process. He helped make the night run so smoothly we had such a great time. We thank Darin for all his hard work in helping us make our wedding such a special night to remember. We would definitely recommend him to anyone. :) Thanks again for everything, Darin.
