Wonderful experience

Lily is amazing. She is such a pleasure to work with and did an outstanding job. We had record hot temperatures and all our hairstyles and makeup lasted throughout the day. You would never know we were melting. Thanks again!

Absolutely fantastic!

It was such a wonderful experience and made my wedding that much better. There is no other way to say it than she worked magic! From getting enough staffing to do my hair and make up, all 7 bridesmaids, my mother and the last minute addition of my MIL. Everyone looked fantastic. I offer my highest recommendation! Would absolutely book again.

She does bar/bat mitzvah hair and make up too!!!

I looked to Wedding Wire to find a top-rated hair and make up stylist to hire for my son’s bar mitzvah. Lily responded to my message immediately and was incredibly accommodating. She came to my house for a midday appointment to do hair and make up for myself and my daughter for our pre-bar mitzvah temple photos. And she arrived promptly at at 6:00 a.m. Saturday morning to get me, my daughter and my mother ready for 9:00 am services on the big day! She was efficient and stayed on schedule, but also personable and friendly. She was so patient and helpful with my teenage daughter who was quite indecisive with respect to hair and make up choices. In the end, we all received so many compliments and I have already recommended Lily to several other Mitzvah parents in the area.

She is the best! Hands down!

Lily was not only an incredible hair stylist for my daughters special night with her daddy but also made my daughter feel so comfortable! She was silly and fun while working her masterpiece that was my daughters hair that night! Not only did she make my daughters hair perfection but she tied up all the loose ends for the night like pinning my husbands boutonnière and even gave my hair a little Juj for my date with my son who was taking me out to dinner since his sister was going out with daddy! I will use Lily for EVERY EVENT from here on out and i will recommend her to anyone who asks and anyone who doesn’t!!!! LOVED HER SO MUCH!!!

I can’t say enough about Lily and her team. Not only did I have a lot of revisions to my original contract but I was fielding questions for all my bridesmaids through Lily leading up to the wedding. Lily was by far one of the best parts of my overall wedding/preparations. She was attentive, professional, understanding, the list goes on. She did an amazing job and I would hire her all over again for my big day! Absolutely cannot go wrong with Belle of the Ball :)

Belle of the Ball by LilyAnna was AMAZING for my wedding day hair, and that of my MOH, bridesmaids, mother, and flower girl. All in all, 10 girls had their hair styled and everyone looked amazing. I wasn't completely sure the style I wanted, but had about 10 photographs I liked. LilyAnna incorporated all of the items I liked and made a unique, beautiful style that I was so happy with!! She and her assistant flew through all of the girls that needed their hair done and we were ready well ahead of schedule, reducing stress and maximizing our enjoyment of the day. The women were very friendly and made the experience extremely enjoyable. LilyAnna worked with my photographers to ensure wonderful photos were taken during the styling. LilyAnna also made sure to touch up anyone's hair who may have wanted small tweaks, and put in great effort to ensure that everyone was happy. I cannot recommend Belle of the Ball enough!!

Lily really saved my wedding day! I reached out to her via Wedding Wire in a panic two weeks before my wedding, after having to cancel the original hair and make-up vendor I had booked. Without hesitation, Lily worked with me to come up with a contract and a plan of action that fit my budget. On the day of the wedding, Lily and Corrine reported for duty and they were WONDERFUL! My hair came out more beautiful than I could have ever imagined, and my make-up was perfect. Everything lasted all day, and my bridesmaids were extremely happy with the services they received too. Being of mixed race has always been a concern of mine when it comes to my hair, but I put all of my trust in Lily, and it was well worth it! I would recommend her to anyone. Bonus points that she too is a Disney lover, and she and Corrine made great conversationalists while we were getting ready. Thank you Lily!

Lily!! You were one of my favorite vendors for the day. Our wedding on 4/21/18 was flawless, and Lily was such a big help! First off, Lily and her team are great when it comes to communication. I never went over 24 hours without hearing a response to an email, most of the time I heard back within a few hours, and texts were super fast. I used Lily for a trial, and she went through SEVERAL designs of my hair, until we found an exact look that I was in love with. Then, she did my makeup in layers, slowly adding more and more until I found my perfect look. I'm not the type of person that normally wears a lot of makeup, so I was super concerned about this part, but Lily was an expert and knew exactly what to do!
When the day of the wedding arrived, Lily showed up early to set up, and let me tell you, what a professional set up it was! I had 6 girls getting hair and makeup done, including myself. It took less then 4 hours, and then Lily worked with my photographer getting detail shots done. Not only did she work with me every step of the way, but her assistant worked with my girls getting every last detail perfect for them. All of us looked stunning ( if I do say so myself ). Lily and her team were also super affordable, which was a HUGE plus. I honestly am so happy with how everything came out, and would advise any bride I meet to look up Belle of the Ball! 10 stars if I could! Thank you Lily and team!

I can’t say enough about how absolutely awesome it was dealing with Lily and her team, it couldn’t have been more pleasurable and wonderful. Their work was perfection and everyone looked totally stunning. There were 14 girls to be handled and she did it timely with ease and patience. To say Lily and her team are super talented is truly an understatement. Lily completely help in making my daughters wedding day classy, elegant and beautiful. Definitely has become our go to person for any other events. Cant thank you enough Lily, you are fabulous.

Lilly helped make my wedding day so magical! Even though I did not have a particular style that I wanted she listed to all the things that I did and did not want and did an absolutely awesome job on my hair. She also did my daughter's hair and that turned out just the same even without any irons! I also had airbrush makeup and that was ah maz ING! It stayed the whole day and I truly did look like a princess! Loved the glitter that was on my eyes. She even brought along someone to help keep my daughter busy while she was working on me. I loved everything and would definitely work with her again.

To say that Lily was amazing for my wedding day is the understatement of the year. Her team was professional, detail-oriented, and had the patience of saints. Since being pregnant and swollen, it had become increasingly uncomfortable to do my own makeup on a daily basis, let alone a special occasion like my baby shower. I reached out to Lily to see if she could help me, and she was very responsive. She confirmed the date and time with me, and told me that she was available! We had communicated in the days leading up to my shower about what I had envisioned for hair and makeup, and she assured me I would look beautiful. The morning of the shower Lily came fully prepared, and got right to work. The airbrush makeup was flawless, my eye shadow was exactly what I wanted, and we even added false eyelshes. My hair was perfect, and lasted all day. I would definitely use Lily again for any type of occasion. In fact, I look forward to my next event just to be able to work with Lily again!

Lily and Haley were simply amazing!! What a team!!! We had a beach wedding and my hair and makeup (as well as my maid of honor's) was exactly what I wanted it to be. Beachy and elegant. Even with the wind on the beach and at our outdoor venue, my style remained perfect.

I needed serious hair help for my event and I reached out to this amazing woman! My hair is damaged from over dying and it is also super thin. Nothing I could do myself would have been anywhere close to what she had done. As soon as I sat down she went right to work. She teased, curled, and sprayed away. In minutes my hair looked amazing! It had volume, it had style, and most importantly, I felt beautiful. She is simply the best!

We had the upmost pleasure of Lily coming to our home to provide our son with his very first haircut! I was referred to Lily by a friend who had used her services for her wedding and just knew that she was the perfect person for the job. Weddings and toddlers might be a little different but this just shows that she can do it all. Lily did such an amazing job and was so helpful in giving advice and pointing me in the right direction for hair and makeup for my wedding. I hired Lily to do the makeup for my bridesmaids the morning of my wedding, I got her recommendation from my sister who used her for hair and makeup for her wedding just a few months earlier. Lily was amazing. From the trial to the actual wedding everything was beautiful! My makeup and hair was awesome and bridesmaids hair looked stunning. Lily and her team were the absolute best! I had a makeup and hair trial prior to the wedding and then had another hair trial because I decided to change the style. Lily is very detail oriented, asks lots of questions and shows many variations of hair and makeup to make sure her client loves their look. On the day of the wedding she came with her team set up quickly and had a very organized flow to have everyone's hair and makeup done on time. Lily was professional, responsive, creative, friendly, and helpful! She made booking the event easy, she took care of logistics of the day, and she helped my sister and me find styles that we loved and that last through hours of pictures and LOTS of dancing!! LILY IS AMAZING!!! I wasn't a crazy bride but my husband was groomzilla, he was even picky about the makeup! We had 2 hair trials and 2 makeup trials, even on the day of I changed some things and she was so accommodating! She worked with allergies my girls had and even knew what I was trying to say when i didn't! She was early, stayed late for my Photographer and worked with him for pictures. She even was able to airbrush my messed up spray tan! I can tell you she was amazing when my husband said my makeup was fantastic!! She really knows what she's doing and how to make you look one of a kind!!!!

Lily arrived early so I didn't have to worry about completing all the other things I needed to do on my wedding day. Also, she was willing to try multiple hair styles and makeup in order to find the perfect match for me. She was very good with the kids who were in the wedding party & did a great job with their hair as well. To keep them entertained she was playful while doing their hair (which takes effort). I would definitely recommend Lily to other people & would hire her again.

I loved Lily!! My hair wasn't full of hair product that made it super stiff. It was still soft, but it kept nicely all night! I liked how I didn't even feel the bobby pins(all 57 of them!) in my up-do hairstyle. They were very secure but comfortable as my hair kept wonderfully for 16 hours. It survived a thousand pictures (in the house/church/beach/venue) and dancing for hours. Lily was very professional and did all 8 of us bridesmaids' hair in about 4-5 hrs. She is quick, and her skill didn't diminish one bit. I don't go to hairstylists very often, but if I have the opportunity to have Lily do my hair again, I totally will!

I was a bridesmaid in a wedding where Lilly did my hair and she was super quick and very easy to work with! I just showed her a picture of a hairstyle I liked and then let her do her magic! She did a great job in a very timely manor doing 8 bridesmaids hair and makeup for a few and everyone's hair looked fantastic and suited everyone's individual personality. On top of that I used her services for my own wedding where she gave me a great deal and helped me when my original hair stylist got really sick before the wedding and was no longer available! Her team did a fantastic job with my hair and all the bridesmaid and were once again just great to work with! My hair looked amazing and held up all night even through dancing! Couldn't be happier with my choice of hair experts.

Lily is amazing at her craft. She was able to squeeze me in on short notice to do my hair and makeup for a friends fancy wedding. She fit me in early in the morning before she left to do a wedding party. She was sweet and professional. I simply told her I wanted to channel Audrey Hepburn and she ran with it. The results were beautiful. She sent me off with extra hairpins just in case but more than 12 hours later, thought heat, wind and a lot of dancing, my hair stayed put. I highly recommend Lily. I wish I had used her for my own wedding!!!

Lily did both my hair and makeup at my engagement party. She was fun, personable, and did amazing work. She thrives to make you look exactly as you dreamed you would, you can tell that she gets pure pleasure from making her clients happy and beautiful. Lily was so fantastic leading up to my wedding day and the morning of our wedding! She was willing to work with me, my 10 bridesmaids, 2 flower girls, and my mother and came to our hotel suite to do our hair. She brought another stylist to assist to make sure we ran on time and we did. About a month in advance to the wedding she asked that we send in our pictures of hair we wanted and she was in contact with me regularly about my hair, my bridesmaids hair, and any concerns she had with some hairstyles that were not realistic to do in our time crunch. She was always kind, professional, and helpful. My hair for my wedding day was so beautiful and better than the picture I had shown her! It stayed in the entire day and it didn't hurt at all. Sometimes when I have my hair up too long I get a headache, but that did not happen at all on my wedding day. Also, her prices were reasonable as I had gone to several salons and vendors and some of the prices were astronomical! Belle of the Ball by LilyAnna is a perfect choice for having your hair done on your wedding day!

Lilly is professional and personable in all aspects in her field. For my brothers wedding this past summer she came to the house on time with all necessary make-up and hair supplies! Weddings are extremely stressful, but my hair and make-up were one thing I didn't fret about! She took my vision and created a beautiful up-do my family raved over! My friends and I had undoubtably the best hair and make out at prom, thanks to Lily!

She drove across state lines to help us, and gave everyone their dream look. I have never gotten more compliments in one night! She was able to replicate all different types of hairstyles for my friends, and each style lasted from pre-prom to prom to the after party and even to the after after party!

With any other stylist, I usually am disappointed because something is off about the style they gave me, but not with Lily! Her work is inspired and she really pays attention to all the details. I would highly recommend her to anyone!!

Lily is outstanding! She did my wedding hair and makeup and it was absolutely perfect! I wanted my hair all to one side with curls and a hair bow and Lily pulled it off, and my hair stayed put all night! As for my makeup.. I danced all night and you couldn't even tell I was sweaty! The makeup looked exactly the same as when she first applied it. I was amazed and highly recommend her!!

I was so lucky to have Lilly the day of my wedding. I had to plan my wedding in New Jersey from North Carolina, and Lilly was extremely professional, responsive, and flexible. When I had any questions or concerns about my hair and makeup she quickly put my mind at ease. She did a beautiful job on my hair/makeup, and I couldn't be happier . I changed my hair style on her the last minute, but she handled it with such professionalism and ease, and was able to do exactly what I wanted. Lily was great doing hair for my bridal party on THE ACTUAL HOTTEST DAY OF THE YEAR. She was on time and got right to work. Lily even gave the bridesmaid who chopped her hair to chin-length a couple weeks before the wedding a faux updo! Everyone looked so beautiful and their styles lasted all day.

Lily and her team have been our go to hair stylists for every wedding I've been in, including my own, my sisters, and a few of my best friends in the last 2 years and 1 this fall!
Salons in New Jersey are expensive, I called a bunch before my sisters wedding, Belle of the Ball offers a very reasonable and competitive rate and she'll come to your home! I would recommend this company to any bride on a budget.

Lily did a wonderful job on my wedding day. She came right to the hotel to do hair for the bride, mothers and bridesmaids. She did a great job and my updo held up all night long and into the next day! She is great to work with and I would highly recommend her.

LOVE LILY'S WORK!!! Everyone's hair was kind of the same but different. All of the bridesmaids had similar hair styles, but they varied a little depending on what would be best for each girl's facial features and hair texture. Everyone was super excited about it :) I chose Lily after looking through photos of hairstyles and completely FELL IN LOVE with her attention to detail. I love how she uses hair as decoration like with her tiny braids. DEFINITELY will hire for everything I can get her to do !

Lily comes to you, so I was able to get my hair done for my dad's wedding in my own kitchen! Lily has been doing hair for over 10 years, and it shows.

She really knows what she's talking about and sits down with you to figure out what exactly you want and how to make it work with your hair. Rather than just trying exactly what you picture, she takes the time to explain how it will look with your particular hair texture and length, and if it's not what you imagined, she'll take the time to come up with and discuss something similar but new that will be the most flattering with your particular hair. To me, that's a sign of a real pro. Not to mention, everything she does comes out beautifully!

Aside from this wedding, she's done my hair for proms and other formal events over the years. She's one of the only people I trust with my hair.

When Lily walked through the door the day of my best friend's wedding, she instantly became a new friend to all of us - the grandmothers of the couple included. The hairstyles were unique and absolutely gorgeous!! Mine stayed perfect throughout the entire day, evening and even lasted late into the night when the crew went out partying after the official festivities. I recommend her to everyone who is looking for a stylist --- I wouldn't have anyone else do my wedding (whenever that happens..)! HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!

Lily from Belle of the Ball was amazing. My wife, daughter, and the whole wedding party were all a jumble of nerves. Lily walked in right on time. She put everyone at ease and had everyone smiling and laughing. Lily turned the tension filled room into a party. When Lily was finished the ladies were thrilled with their hair and makeup and ready for the big day.
Of course, with all the ladies thrilled, I (the dad) was much relieved and could not thank Lily enough.

Lilyanna was great! She offered me a great price, and was willing to make adjustments based on our needs. We had a bridal party of 7 bridesmaids and had a morning wedding, but Lily was willing to accommodate. Lily is easy to work with and always has the bride's vision in mind. She is honest and realistic about which hairstyle will work best depending on your hair, and does not stop until you are completely satisfied with your look. She tweaked my makeup until I was more than happy with the result. Everyone looked beautiful and natural. All my bridesmaids, my Mom and I looked great at the wedding!! Lily was awesome and so accommodating throughout the entire planning process. The fact that she travels to you for your event (and even your trail) was helpful. Lily is more than happy to try whatever you like and give her opinion if you are unsure. Lily did both hair and make up for me and 7 bridesmaids. I LOVED both my hair and makeup on the big day! Out of 8 of us, only one girl wasn't 100% happy but she was being a little picky nor did she say anything before Lily left. Beautiful styling but poor communication

Lily handled my hair and makeup for my wedding. She did a lovely job and my bridal look turned out better than I could have imagined! Her prices are fair for what was offered and she is very friendly/pleasant on top of it. Her communication was poor leading up to the event, however. She often had to be reminded multiple times over Facebook messenger to respond to my e-mails. I understand part of this is probably that she had many other events before mine during this time, but my very last e-mail wrapping up logistics took 3 weeks for her to respond to. This is even more disappointing because I see so many other reviews praising her for her communication and I wonder why my e-mails went unanswered for so long? The only time during my wedding day I felt the least bit pressed for time was toward the end of my getting ready period. I was told the timeline I proposed left us with more than enough extra time so there wouldn’t be a scramble toward the end. My make-up was done last and I was getting final touch ups done at the time I should have been getting into my dress. I was also given the wrong amount to write her a check for for the final payment so I was voiding checks when I really needed to be getting into my gown. While the compliments were endless on my hair and make-up and I felt absolutely beautiful for my wedding day, I can’t ignore the fact that finalizing my timeline was delayed because of the lack of communication and the end of my getting ready time was the most stressful part of the day because of timing/logistical issues mentioned above. I recommend Lily for her talent and sweet disposition, but urge clients to keep these communication issues in mind.
