The Belle of Louisville is a beautiful place to have your wedding. I did the ceremony and reception with the boat actively cruising. It was a one of a kind wedding. Exactly what I was looking for. But to top it off, the wedding coordinator Diane Eisenback was the best. She did everything and more than I expected. She was there for me before, during, and then after the wedding too. I would highly reccomend the Belle and Diane for your wedding day! -

I love doing events on the Belle of Louisville and the Mary Miller. These venues offer a unique experience, there is just something special about a ceremony on the river and a reception cruise. Diane is always a pleasure to work with, her detailed itineraries and day of professionalism are tops in the industry. I will continue to refer my clients to Diane and these beautiful venues, without hesitation. -

As an event designer, I have had the pleasure of working with Diane and the staff at The Belle of Louisville for many years now and have been delighted with the results of many successful events there. Not only is the venue absolutely beautiful with charm and nostalgia, but the planning and execution of each event has been flawless.
Diane is knowledgeable and focused on the overall success of each event while offering that personal touch that is so important! Having a professional on-site coordinator and a beautiful setting with delicious food and drink options available is a winning combination. Our wedding reception was so beautiful aboard the Mary Miller. Anything that I was worried about was unnecessary, as Diane made sure we had our lists checked off. Everyone at the reception had a wonderful night. It was truly the experience of a lifetime. -

Laura Sent on 09/28/2015This wonderful excursion boat provides an exceptional planner, a beautiful venue that needs very little additional decoration, an officiant (the Captain), and a fun, unique trip around the Ohio River above the Falls of the Ohio, beautiful scenery! The planner will help with pre-event planning, booking the caterer, and low prices for extras to make the event really special. The boat is owned by the Metro Louisville (City govt) so no tipping is allowed! They have a no smoking policy, and you have to be inspected on boarding (even gifts have to be unwrapped or in gift bags).
We were on the Spirit of Jefferson Riverboat, their smaller venue. It was PERFECT! We had about 60 guests, the boat ride was very smooth, the DJ offered a well-researched historical commentary as we sailed along, and Diane was the best planner ever! -

A lovely cruise
The Belle of Louisville and our coordinator Diane made our wedding magical. The venue was one of a kind. The slow cruise up the river and back at sunset was a much enjoyed break from the dance party which was a absolute success. Diane guided us to most affordable and positively reviewed vendors and we were not disappointed. Our wedding was exactly as we wanted it and while we never want to get remarried, if we had to do it again I don't think we could do better. Thank you Belle of louisville and staff for making our wedding day so perfect. - Roger and Amy -

The river cruise and dinner buffet was a hit with all the wedding party - we had a great time dancing and being able to enjoy the wonderful scenery from the riverboat
