Michelle and Joe was awesom

I had a horrible day due to my day of coordinator hired through weddingwire. Michelle and Joe did everything they could to make my day the best ever. The venue is awesome and they really work with you. I appreciate everything they have done for me and my family. I hope to keep working with them in the future.

I got married at Belle Grove in November of 2017. I honestly cannot say enough good things about the place. We wanted a beautiful historic venue with amazing river views, and as soon as we saw Belle Grove we fell in love. The whole venue was nothing short of amazing. Tammy did an amazing job. She was there every step of the way and was always willing to work with us. She offered advice and was nothing but professional every step of the way. She wanted to ensure that both my husband and I were happy with everything. I could honestly tell that they were invested in our special day and wanted it to be a success. The day was an absolute dream, and Tammy and her team did a great job making sure it was everything we ever wanted.
I highly recommend Belle Grove as a venue!

One of the best weekends of our lives. Used this beautiful venue for rehearsal, bridal party sleepover, and wedding ceremony and reception. Wonderful on site catering and Tammy, the Events coordinator took care of everything and I mean EVERYTHING on Wedding day. She made it possible for us to be in the moment the whole time and took care of every tiny detail. This is a beautiful venue and the staff is exceptional. Price is very inclusive and worth every penny.

I am so happy my family and I decided to have mine and my now husband's wedding at Belle Grove! The beauty of the venue goes without saying, so let me talk about their professionalism and efficiency. Being the planner, type A personality that I am, I was worried that I would have a problem stepping back and letting Tammy Anderson (their event coordinator) and staff manage our special day. Never once did I feel as though I needed to step in and handle a situation. Their confidence and experience with weddings was such a relief and allowed me to simply enjoy my wedding day without fear of something going wrong. They worked closely with all the vendors and had continuous communication to make sure everything ran as smoothly as possible. The amount of respect they have for those investing their money at their establishment is evident. Thank you so much Belle Grove for making our day just perfect and everything I hoped it could be & more!

Belle Grove is unique, historical plantation is a quiet setting. It is a wonderful venue for wedding, leaving stress behind. As a B&B, it's one of the best. The in-house caterer is outstanding.

We were married in January and wanted a small, intimate winter wedding. Couldn't have been more perfect. Tammy and Michelle went out of their way to make our day special and memorable. Highly recommend Belle Grove!!!

The setting at Belle Grove was amazing. My daughter was a little disappointed when her ceremony had to move inside the tent due to the cold weather. You never know what to expect in November. The staff opened up several of the downstairs rooms and bathrooms for our guests to use for the entire time. This turned out so much better than our original plan of keeping everything outside and in the tent. Great job Belle Grove and many thanks for making this day so spectacular for my daughter, family and guests.

Tammy was wonderful. She really made sure that our day was amazing. Anything we needed she was right there! Belle Grove was beautiful and I couldn’t have asked for a better venue. Michelle and her husband were wonderful too. Loved hearing all the stories and history and I know my guests loved it too. Highly highly recommend!!!

Belle Grove was the perfect venue for my daughter’s wedding. The grounds are beautiful, the house is a wonderful mix of historic preservation and modern conveniences. The bed and breakfast is very impressive. The rooms are luxurious and well-decorated, and the beds are very comfortable. Michelle’s breakfasts are amazing.
Along with the beauty of Belle Grove, you get Tammy. Tammy Anderson is amazing. She was there with us through the entire planning process, asking the right questions, prompting us and advising, while always supporting my daughter and son-in-law's vision of their day. She was never too busy to answer questions, when we had emergencies she calmly solved them, when we had weather challenges she provided solutions before we even knew we needed them. There was no detail too small for her attention. She was the architect of a magical event, one that our guests are still talking about. I cannot express how grateful we are for her help and support.
Belle Grove Plantation holds a special place in our hearts, and my family will be back for events and visits. And I can never thank Tammy enough for making my daughter’s wedding unforgettable.

Our wedding was absolutely perfect, from the in-house catering, to the beautiful venue, to Tammy, Michelle, and Brett's amazing attention to detail. They truly go above and beyond to make your vision work. We would recommend this place to anybody, and will most definitely come back for an anniversary!

The venue was beautiful. The weather was amazing. But the wedding coordinator, Tammy, is what made our wedding so wonderful. She took care of everything. We honestly have no idea how Tammy managed it all. I felt lazy at one point because I had nothing to do - it was already taken care of! Tammy is courteous, very responsive, helpful, comforting, and just an all-around class act. Our experience was a blessing, and I cannot wait to return for a weekend getaway.

Every detail was planned out by the Belle Grove team and communication was transparent and easy during all the planning months leading up to the day of our wedding. We felt heard, valued, and special. The venue was immaculate, our detailed requests were carried out, and Tammy and Michelle were flexible with last-minute questions. Our wedding was absolutely amazing and we were sad to leave!

Taryn and I can't say enough about the job Tammy did in bringing everything together for us. She was always there to answer questions for us no matter how many times we called to change something. Then the day of our wedding, everything was perfect. We couldn't have asked for anything better.

Belle Grove is a beautiful, historic property nestled right along the Rappahannock River. The ambiance is quiet and calming both inside the wonderfully renovated mansion and outside on the well-maintained grounds. Their preferred rental vendor, Fredericksburg Rentals, provided a lovely and spacious tent for our guests and decorations. Probably the best feature, however, is their event coordinator Tammy. We had originally been leaning towards a different venue, but after meeting Tammy we knew we had to go with Belle Grove. She was very helpful with planning details and answering questions, but also provided a calming effect when necessary. On the day of the wedding, she masterfully juggled directing the service vendors and making our guests comfortable. You can’t go wrong with Belle Grove as your venue for your wedding or special event.

Belle Grove is a beautiful venue, especially at Christmas. We felt right "at home"! The price is right and the food is excellent! Everybody was wonderful to work with and we both feel that we had The Perfect elopement! We will carry the memory of our Belle Grove wedding with us for the rest of our lives.

My husband and I recently used Belle Grove Plantation Bed and Breakfast for our wedding ceremony & reception and we could not have asked for a more perfect venue! This gorgeous plantation is full of so much history and not to mention the amazing view of the Rappahannock River!!

We worked with Belle Grove's coordinator, Tammy Anderson, as we were planning our wedding and she was always available to answer our questions or meet with us when we were in town. She provided us with a list of recommended vendors which was extremely helpful since we were not familiar with the Fredericksburg area. The day of the wedding, Tammy made sure everyone was on track with our timeline and handled any problems that arose (she did such a good job, I'm not even sure if there were any problems!). Our wedding day was perfect thanks to the hard work of all the employees at Belle Grove!

As part of our package, we stayed overnight at Belle Grove after the wedding and Michelle prepared a delicious breakfast for our entire family the next morning! It was the perfect ending to our wedding weekend.

We wanted to thank Tammy, Michelle and Belle Grove for the perfect wedding day and making us feel like we were right at home during our stay. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone!!

We recently celebrated our daughter’s wedding at Belle Grove. Tammy Anderson was there every step of the way as we planned to make sure it would all go smoothly and that we weren’t forgetting any important aspects of the day. Tammy worked took care of all of the rentals and the staffing for the wedding. She kept saying that we shouldn’t be worried about anything on the big day…I wouldn’t have believed it could be possible, but our daughter’s wedding was honestly one of the most relaxed, enjoyable days I can remember! The Newlyweds spent the night in the Madison Suite and had a gourmet breakfast the next morning that they raved about. Michelle, Brett and their staff made our event the most memorable, pleasant experience imaginable. The Bride and Groom were very happy with their beautiful wedding. Belle Grove feels like home to us now. I highly recommend Belle Grove Plantation.

Our wedding day was about as perfect as they get and we couldn't have been happier to have had it at Belle Grove! Michelle, the innkeeper and Tammy the coordinator were absolutely fabulous from beginning to start. Tammy especially did an excellent job of herding cats (our wedding party) and making sure everything went smoothly the day of. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful location - we didn't need to decorate anything, Belle Grove spoke for itself. All of our wedding guests enjoyed themselves immensely, as did the bride and groom. We had luxurious accommodations to prepare in and the atmosphere was very relaxed. During the ceremony the Rappahannock River sparkled and we were lucky enough to enjoy the presence of the nesting osprey pair perched atop the mansion. It was all so beautiful!

Our daughters wedding was a once in a lifetime event. We had viewed Belle Grove early in our search and then we shopped around at other locations for comparison. Some places were initially less expensive but they required you to do all the work. If you added services to the package they ended up close to what we ended up spending for Belle Grove. There were no hidden costs and the prices were clearly explained up front. the total price, provided everything we could have asked for. Belle Grove's wedding coordinator was so easy to work with. Our daughter lived out of state and Tammy was always willing to meet whenever she was in town. All of our guests raved about the wedding and stated how it was the nicest they had attended.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Belle Grove, Michelle, and Tammy! From the moment my fiance and I stepped on the grounds we knew immediately that this is where we wanted to get married. Michelle was even generous enough to give us a tour of the place with all of its historical background. Tammy, the wedding coordinator has also been so incredibly helpful throughout the entire wedding process! She responds to emails quickly and was very accommodating! Once we got closer to the wedding date, Tammy was so incredibly helpful to answer any questions we may of had. During the actual wedding day Tammy was beside us through every moment making sure we were in the right location, always making sure my husband and I had either some food or drinks, and more! She made sure my entrance to the wedding was perfect and exactly what I asked. I honestly could not have asked for anything better! Belle Grove is worth every penny and I cannot thank Michelle and Tammy enough for their help! You do not want to miss out on this venue!

I loved working with Tammy! This was the easiest decision we made for the entire wedding. Getting married in December at Belle Grove was perfect for the small wedding we wanted. My Husband and I were recently wed on the beautiful grounds of Belle Grove Bed and Breakfast Plantation. We could not have asked for a more beautiful venue or perfect setting for our special day.
Before the wedding day itself we were able to meet with event/day of coordinator Tammy Anderson almost at will in order to properly plan. I cannot say enough just how amazing Tammy is. She was always very prompt in communicating back and forth with us through email and when it came time for the day itself, the ceremony and reception proceeded without so much as a hiccup. Throughout the wedding day Tammy constantly made herself available to us while also giving us space to enjoy our day. I can’t imagine the day going any smoother than it did. People often talk about their wedding day flying by so fast that they barely even remember any of it. I can honestly say that our experience was the opposite in no small part thanks to Tammy. There was not a single moment of worry over any part of the ceremony or reception. And for that, we are incredible grateful for Tammy’s skill and attention to detail.
The grounds themselves were immaculate. The grass was green and the lawn was well groomed. The house was in perfect shape, straddling the line perfectly between keeping the historical integrity of the location in tact while still remaining a functional wedding venue that needed to accommodate 200 guests.
The overnight stay was also wonderful. We stayed the night in the Madison Suite which featured a large room and bathroom tucked away on the second floor. The morning after the wedding we were served a delicious breakfast!
While our stay at Belle Grove lasted only one night, it left a wonderful impression on us that we wont soon forget. Everything from the beautiful grounds to the amazing day of coordinator, Tammy, to the gracious hosts Brett and Michelle were perfect. If we had to do it all over again I'm sure we wouldn't change a single thing.

This was truly a wonderful experience. The staff at belle went above and beyond to help us with our wedding day. The food was excellent and services devine.
We also stayed the night every detail was perfect. Down to the turn down serves.
If that wasn't enough our breakfast the next morning was five star!
We hope to make belle grove a yearly stop. Don't miss out on having a special day in this charming place.

We couldn't have chose a better venue and Tammy was the bomb! The mother of the bride wasn't stressed at all and I was able to take everything in and enjoy the day with the Bride and Groom. I felt like the entire day was a success because of Tammy's organization, streamlining, and just knowing what to do. Loved it and Katelyn was so happy everything turned out perfect and of course this makes the father of the Bride even happier.

As we initially scouted for Morgan & Eugene’s wedding venue in early July, 2014, our primary requirement was to have an outdoor, “garden wedding” setting to honor Morgan’s Gramma; in addition she & her fiancé wanted a locale with historical significance & by a river. We were frustrated by the pricing points provided by venues in the Richmond area….sometime during this search, I discovered that within our own “backyard” of King George, VA we had Belle Grove Plantation’s B&B, and it was located next to the Rappahannock River, north of Port Royal, VA. I made the appointment with Tammy Anderson, BGP’s wedding coordinator and brought the couple out…..as we drove to the house via the tree-lined driveway, we were overwhelmed by the beauty of the property & the majesty of the house; but once we took our tour with Tammy we knew we had found our perfect setting! The June 20th ceremony was the most beautiful setting for our children; unfortunately our reception was interrupted by a TORNADO; however, I cannot thank Tammy Anderson & both Michelle & Brett , our innkeepers at BGP, who spent countless hours that day and night, ensuring all was exactly what Morgan & Eugene wanted….and provided shelter inside, first via the basement, and then the main house, for our party & guests to continue to enjoy the reception. They & their team truly cared for our guests and ensured a most unforgettable experience for all…our videographer team from Anchor Images caught the funnel cloud on tape…we have grown quite close to them all & Michelle has even extended the invitation for us to gather in early Fall for a viewing party of the wedding/tornado video !!! Our neighbors at Belle Grove Plantation are truly wonderful!!

I have too many good things to say about Belle Grove and it's staff. I had my wedding there 2 weeks ago and it was beautiful. The house is gorgeous and will make a great impression on your guests.(as will the valet parking) My wedding was a little chaotic but Tammy handled it wonderfully. She calmed me down when my mother in law and I had an argument, she assured me that nothing was going to ruin my day and that even if it rained (which it was supposed to) my wedding would be fantastic. She was right! due to her skill and flexibility she is an awesome planner.
The house has four elegant bedrooms for you to use for overnight guests and for yourself after the wedding (the mattresses are super comfy), and the morning after your wedding Michelle serves everybody breakfast! We had belgian waffles, sausage and yogurt with blueberries and lemon custard.
All in all i would give this venue a 12 out of 10 stars because it was everything we wanted and then some. they really put the cherry on top at this place.

Bell grove plantaion is a beautiful place and the people that own it and help with the event are very nice they make it so you have the best event you could only dream about.

I've had the pleasure of working with Belle Grove Plantation as a professional and as a guest at a wedding held there, and I can't say enough great things! Michelle is the most gracious Innkeeper who's passion for her historic Bed & Breakfast and as a venue host shines through in everything she does. The Event Coordinator, Tammy, is the consummate professional and is la creme de la creme of coordinators. Both ladies always have a smile on their face and are happy to help in any way they can to make sure your wedding, event, or stay is exactly what you want.

As for the Bed & Breakfast, the beds are beyond comfortable, the decor is perfect for the history of the home, and the breakfast is delish!! You do not know what you're missing if you haven't been to Belle Grove Plantation in King George to stay or to host your event.

I attend a beautiful wedding at Belle Grove Plantation. The home and the grounds were wonderful. The wedding was held on the lawn with the bride arriving by horse drawn carriage. Reception held in a large tent with dance floor. Staff at Belle Grove were attentive and helpful to the guests. Would highly recommend this venue for any event!

When our daughter told us she was engaged to be married, the many discussion she and I had about her wedding day came flooding back. Her vision of her wedding day was always elegant and straight out of a fairy book story. She wanted nothing more than to be a princess for a day. Belle Grove Plantation helped us provide this vision and so much more! Tammy Anderson, their Wedding Specialist not only keep us on track the day of the wedding, but provided us with very helpful knowledge that helped us in planning this event. She also provided us with vendors that were above top notch in their profession. No searching needed. They are all there ready to help us create that special moment. Even while we were moving through the event, Tammy was there directing things in the background. If there had been a problem, we would never have known it.

The venue was more than beautiful. With the tree lined drive to the beautiful river to the magnificent mansion, it created the backdrop of not only beauty, but of a dream coming true. From the moment we walked out of the bridal suite to the moment she and her father came in on the horse drawn carriage, I knew this would be an event we would never forget. And to see the smile on her face. It was just magical.

If we were ever to be asked where to go for the perfect wedding, we would have no reservations in recommending Belle Grove Plantation. If you don't see this wedding venue, you truly are missing out!

BelleGrove Plantation, it's owners, and it's event coordinator were fantastic! We renewed our vows for our 25th anniversary with a ceremony and a party then spent the night in the B&B with some of our guests. The location was beautiful, the owners kind and caring, the event coordinator helpful, patient and superb. They make you feel comfortable and welcome while making your event special and memorable. I just love everything about it.

The Plantation was perfect for our wedding. We had about 75 people there and were able to have a gorgeous wedding outside. Tammy was extremely helpful with coordinating between all of our vendors and making sure that we were getting what we wanted. She made this experience super easy and less stressful!

Perfect place with excellent service. We not only used this location for our rehearsal dinner site, but also used it as a place for my bridal party to get ready before the wedding. The location itself is breathtaking! My wedding photos are amazing !

Michelle and Brett are absolutely wonderful people and made our wedding day so special. They went above and beyond for us and I can't thank them enough!! Not only did they provide us with a beautiful venue but also memories that will last us a life time.

Michelle made arrangements for our cake, put me in touch with our officiant Sam, who was amazing! She recommended a photographer from Chamberlin photography who took stunning pictures. She prepared an awesome dinner for our guest, each and every person raved about her cooking skills.

This was our first time staying at a bed and breakfast and I have to say I felt like I was right at home!! We will be returning in the future!

We knew from the moment we first pulled up to Belle Grove that it would be where we wed. Michelle, Brett, and Tammy were so helpful during our planning process. They were available to assist us and supported us along the way. Then the day came and I was blown away. We didn't have to worry about anything. They were so professional and organized but yet made you feel like family all at the same time. It was a day I will never forget and I couldn't be more thankful that we had our wedding at belle grove. It simply wouldn't have been the wedding it was in any other venue.

Belle Grove Plantation was the perfect venue for our wedding. Michelle and Brett are very knowledgeable about the property and I thoroughly enjoyed hearing about the history of the Plantation during our stay. The rooms are absolutely gorgeous and the service we received was amazing from the time we started our planning and throughout the wedding. Tammy the coordinator is a blessing to work with she made sure everything was taken care of and made the stressful aspect of wedding planning so much easier. The morning of and all throughout the day of our wedding she made sure everything was absolutely perfect. I am so thankful for all the hard work that went into making our wedding day so special and highly recommend them for any event or just a visit to the Plantation.

We were so pleased with our Wedding Elopement at Belle Grove Plantation. Everyone was super nice and made us feel at ease. It was a beautiful place to exchange our vows and to say I do... Belle Grove was a fantastic venue for our wedding. Tammy, the coordinator, was very helpful in making sure the wedding went according to plan. There is something to be said, too, for having the venue to ourselves for the entire weekend. This allowed to us to set up a little on Friday. Then we had the rehearsal and dinner there, stayed Friday night, and woke up to breakfast and full access to our venue to decorate. The reception was held at the same location after as well, which was nice since there was no travel associated. For your price, you get a lot of services included, which is really great. Be prepared to brave the outdoors for an outside wedding/reception, but at least for ours, we dodged the rain and bugs to have a perfect day. Wouldn't change anything if we had to redo it!

My daughter. Was married there at belgrove plantaton it is the most beautiful place for a wedding takes you back.in time The rooms there are very clean and so relaxing and the room my daughterand her husband stayed in.was the Turner suite. Felt like home not some place they were staying.And Michaele and Brett. Were very friendly and made you feel very welcomed and they knew so much of the history and took time to share it with us after the wedding.And the food was very well prepared and the table they had set was gorgeous.And the grounds were beautiful you could walk out and see the water and the sunsets could not be more perfect for a wedding.There is so much. More i could say about this wonderful place and i would highly recomend it to any one that wants a place for a beautiful wedding such a grand place very happy my daughter had her weddig there.

Quality of service was a four because I didn't care for their catering company. Overall the food was ok. The florist design was good. I thought I would receive a romantic feel with more flowers in my room. Tammy is awesome. Patient, kind and catering...she makes sure your stress level is nonexistent.

Fantastic communication prior to the event and very accommodating and helpful the day of the wedding! All that interacted with the tea, Tammy in particular as the wedding coordinator, were very much impressed with the help and support offered.
