The sweetest and most professional woman you'll ever meet. She made sure I was comfortable the entire time as she worked on my hair and makeup for my wedding and the results were jaw-dropping. So stunning I asked her to do my hair and makeup for my second reception we threw 3 days later and she created a brand new look to work at night-time. I got compliments all night! I'd recommend her again and again and again. -

Saoni and her assistant were fabulous! Saoni was great at communicating throughout the entire process & she arrived promptly on time to the venue to get started. She was very accommodating when the amount of bridesmaids changed & substituted my mom in instead. She even did my 2 girls hair as a treat. Saoni rolled with the punches with all the drama that went on in the bridal suite with stubborn moms, a drunk maid of honor, 2 wild toddlers, & an emotional bride trying to handle the chaos. I HIGHLY recommend Saoni! She truly made me feel beautiful even through all the tears. -

We hired Beauty Bella Glam for our wedding on February 12. From the beginning we shared that it would be two parties with a bride and bridal party. In October we decided to have 2 separate locations and each had at least 4 people receiving hair and makeup.
We never received a contract after providing our deposit in October. I reached out to Saoni, requesting an official proposal finalizing the numbers around January over email. Saoni sent my coordinator a final invoice listing services a week before the wedding. This list was not correct after sending her our list (in writing) multiple times. I assumed it would be based on services rendered because she never sent us a contract.
Day of the wedding, Saoni was very appreciative of the set up and space provided. Saoni had previously requested we pay together after services were received. My mom, Kim wrote her a check based on the amount Saoni gave her + 20%.
On the following Monday, I requested an itemized invoice and how much the check amount was for because my mom forgot to write it down. We wanted the itemized invoice to make sure everyone was sending us the right amount for their services.
This is when things began to get messy. She said the amount would match the original invoice plus a blow out. That was not the amount she gave us on the day of the wedding and she hadn’t taken into account the $100 deposit we paid.
It was our mistake for not verifying on the day of the wedding but instead we trusted Saoni to give us the proper amount.
I responded with the list of services we received - including switching out a few of the services (for higher cost services) like when a bridesmaid had her makeup done after her daughter refused to allow them to touch her hair.
After that email, Saoni told me we were still responsible for the original services PLUS additional services. She then listed out services and showed a number even larger than the amount she gave us on the day of the wedding. She wanted to charge us more after we had paid for services plus a 20% tip.
We exchanged 2-3 additional emails about the discrepancies and I tried to work with her. Saoni’s responses were completely unprofessional and I ended the conversation once she began to insult me personally.
Additional notes:
⁃ I never received a contract
⁃ though advertised as licensed, we have requested multiple times but never received any licenses or certifications for the people who worked on our hair and makeup
⁃ Saoni added $40 for each flower girls makeup in the later email. Her website shows $75 for flower girl hair and makeup. We did not ask for makeup but in writing to our coordinator, Saoni said they would “do a little some for the girls”
⁃ She charged $60 for each locations travel so $120 total. One location was 27 miles of her and the other was 50 miles.
⁃ The hair stylist used at least 8 bobby-pins for my comb veil and dug them into my head. When removing my veil for photos, my photographers gasped asking who put my veil because it only takes 2 bobby-pins. On the other side of the bobby-pins spectrum, my bun started to fall out by the first look. The stylist was 18, and though requested multiple times, no license or credentials has been supplied.
⁃ My face immediately broke out from the face makeup used. Saoni gasped when I told her but there was nothing to do at that point. -
