Working with the team at Bella Flora was a dream come true! I had Bella Flora in mind (from following their work on facebook) for years prior to my engagement. So when the day came that it was my turn to book a florist and expert in decor & more, they were my first vendor to book! Kelly, Lynn and Emily are such a dynamic team. Being the best in the business, they are well connected across many entities and helped us find our amazing Wedding Coordinator, DJ and nailed down every aspect of our venue as they are experts on so many different venues they have been to before!
My first meeting with Bella Flora consisted of sharing all of my hopes and dreams for our wedding day a year following our first meeting! I was able to share pictures, look at pictures they had previously taken of their work and clients along with get ideas and inspiration. From this point, they took my ideas and ran with them! The normal, the crazy, and the spectacular- they made each of them happen in the months to follow!
Our second meeting with them, we talked about vendors I had booked and more intentional dreams that I had curated after searching for what felt right for our big day. After this meeting, they sent us many options detailed with the exact flowers and looks we were going for. The team took into account different price points to meet our budget, all of which were beautifully curated.
Our third and final meeting was my favorite! During this time, Kelly, Lynn and Emily had our table set up that would look just like our wedding! WOW this was the best day. Seeing all of your dreams come to life was spectacular. From here, they were able to change out different aspects of the table we wanted to revise, see what we loved and what different options would be from the smallest things such as silverware, chargers, how napkins were placed to the larger details of the actual flowers that would be at the event! I will attach pictures to this review to show you the magic they set up in their showroom that day. One of my favorite parts of working with Bella Flora is not only their personalization and connection they had with us, but the endless options and possibilities we had when we worked with them! Their showroom is nothing short of fabulous and has everything for any style of wedding to make your vision come to life.
The day before our wedding, Emily took time prior to the wedding to ensure that my bouquet was exactly how I wanted it and was willing to make any changes as needed. She showed me how to hold it in pictures and made me feel comfortable about the care of my bouquet on our wedding day!
On our wedding day, I came down from the bridal suite to the most magical hallway filled with all of the florals that were carefully designed for my vision. I said to Emily that this was a “Magic Hallway” and her response was “This is your magic hallway Laura!”. Kelly gave me the biggest hug and the excitement that they had for me on my big day just radiated in all that they did!
From the dance floor, perfectly curated florals, amazing tablescapes, cake florals, personal touches, and more. This team is truly unmatched and really were the “fairy godmothers” that made each of my dreams come true! Thank you to Kelly, Lynn and Bella for ALL their dedication in making my day a success.

Great Attention to Detail
Bella Floral Design is simply the best!
From the beginning, Kelly and her staff listened carefully to everything my family and especially my daughter imagined for her wedding November 4 in Des Moines, Iowa. They hit it out of the park by taking my daughter’s dreams of a Cinderella wedding, and then bringing that to life!
From the cascade of flowers flowing down the mansion’s staircase into the beautifully decorated courtyard and then into a majestic and breathtaking banquet room, Bella floral captured 100% everything that we suggested.
The colors, the flowers, the table settings, the kings table, everything was exquisite!
The entire wedding stayed within budget, and Bella Floral even saved us money by suggesting several ways where we could cut costs.
We are still on cloud nine now 10 days later after being treated like royalty by Bella Floral Design. Simply take a look at the pictures I’ve provided and you will agree with me that they are the best in the Midwest at what they do.

Bella Flora made things super easy and simple having all floral and decorations come from the same place. Knowing that we could rely on them to take care of all of the set up and tear down was a relief. They did a wonderful job and executed our vision perfectly!

Bella Flora was fantastic to work with for our wedding! Kelly was super responsive, consultative, and collaborative throughout the planning process. We were able to meet with her several times before the big day, and I never once doubted that her and her team would be able to make our venue look beautiful. My husband and I recently had our wedding at Glen Oaks in WDM on 8.29.20 and I can’t say enough good things about Kelly and her team. She worked with us wonderfully even with the difficulties of covid and me changing my mind on theme 2.5 weeks before the wedding. I could not have asked for a more beautiful turnout! Kelly did a fantastic job capturing my style and vision (even when I had a hard time describing it myself). It was truly PERFECT!!! I had an overall idea of what the designs might look like but I was blown away by how fabulous Bella Flora did. Kelly is very organized and good with details which I LOVED being that I’m a detail-oriented person. My ceremony & reception decor were more beautiful than I could have ever dreamed. Thank you Kelly, you are the absolute BEST!!! I will cherish these photos and the beautiful arrangements you did for years to come. I am so thankful we had you to help us make our day one we will never forget. -

Love! Love!
I cannot recommend Bella Flora enough!! I got so many compliments on the decor and flowers at my wedding, and Kelly gave me exactly what I asked for! I had trouble articulating exactly what I envisioned for my big day, but Kelly and her team took all my photos and suggestions and DELIVERED! My wedding was an absolute dream and I have Bella Flora to thank for that!! LOVE! -

Going into the planning process for my wedding, I had some ideas in my head of what I wanted, a couple inspiration photos and a color scheme in mind. Kelly and her team created a look for my day that was even better than what I could have imagined! They were so easy to work with and were great at keeping us within our budget. I would absolutely recommend that any bride to be trusts Bella Flora with their floral and decor, you will be blown away!

Megan Sent on 07/18/2018Tip to Bella Flora brides, look up ways to preserve your bouquet before your wedding day comes. I only let them hang dry and wishing I would have preserved them with silica to keep their beauty. Needless to say, what Kelly & Emily created was beyond beautiful for our day.
I chose the Bella Flora team because my creativity is very limited and during our initial call on vision, Kelly asked questions I would have never thought of and taught me to quit saying "purple" for the beautiful deep plum color or else I was really going to end up with a hot purple decor. I wasn't the easiest client, my favorite flower is a bright orange tiger lily, which is difficult to make work for an April Des Moines wedding. I was planning from a distance and the team was really accommodating to meet when I was in town and prep me as much as possible over the phone. Being able to see my bouquet the Friday before the wedding really kick-started the excitement for the next day, I knew it would turn out perfectly.
I love bright colors but am very minimalist so I needed floral to steal the show being our only decor at the wedding. I didn't give the team a huge budget but over everything else, we received the most compliments on the flowers. The floral centerpieces stole the room and color pop was perfect for accenting the wedding party. Bella Flora was a key part of our amazing team that made our wedding beautiful and I will be forever grateful. -

They were great at taking inspiration pictures and matching them to our needs. They were super responsive to any questions. We had a pretty healthy decor budget, but I feel like we got a great deal. I mentioned what we wanted, and what we wanted to spend, and they were able to do everything we wanted beautifully within our budget. -

Kelly and her staff are so easy to work with and are very creative. Communication is key when planning a wedding, our daughter did not live in the Des Moines area so Kelly had do communicate via email many times. She takes the time to design what you are looking for thru meetings with her and also ideas you may have on Pintrest. She is quick to respond to any questions you may have. Finding the right decoration for your big event is easy as their store has so much inventory. When we walked into our event at the Downtown Marriott I was truely amazed. The flowers were incredible and the decoration amazing. She will not leave anyone disappointed. There are so much detail they put into making our event beautiful. The inventory of linen is incredible. Thank you Kelly for making our daughters wedding perfect. -

We had a vague vision of what we wanted for our decor and flowers, but Kelly and her team took it and made it better than we could have dreamed! From the first meeting to our wedding day, Kelly's team was was prompt, professional, and kept us informed every step of the way. We contacted Kelly pretty late in our planning, but it didn't phase her team. They were flexible and accommodating right up to the wedding day. She was thoughtful of our budget, but created unique combinations of flowers and decor that complemented our wedding day perfectly. It was so nice not to have to worry about purchasing centerpieces or accent pieces for our tables - Bella Flora took care of it all. The best value? They do all of the set up and tear down! Worth every penny. We are so thankful we selected Bella Flora and would recommend them to any couple looking for personalized decor, one-of-a-kind and innovative creations, and dedicated service.

Not all of my wedding plans were easy or going to according to plan, but the Bella Flora team made my floral and decor planning smooth sailing. They are very responsive and really, truly want to make your vision a reality. Kelly has a sixth sense for this. I went into my appointments with a ton of ideas that I didn't exactly know how to communicate, but she was able to take my scattered thoughts and make an incredible plan for our wedding. The florals/decorations were the part of the wedding I was most worried about because I knew I wouldn't be able to see what every detail would look like beforehand and I really had to trust Bella Flora with what the entire wedding would look like - but let me tell you, they DELIVERED! It looked stunning within a reasonable budget, and they really followed the inspiration photos I provided. Not only that, Kelly and her team included several complimentary bonus florals/tablecloths the day of just to make things look better - so so sweet of them, and I was blown away. They really respect your budget and do not try to push things on you or upsell at all - they make it very comfortable for you to work with them. Thank you so much!!

My mom originally met with multiple florists, but she was incredibly impressed after meeting with Kelly and the Bella Flora team. They were extremely organized and were already starting to paint a picture of what my day would look/feel like. They knew how to gently guide us through our meetings, and we always came away feeling accomplished. The results of the floral and decorating that day were indescribable. I have never been so in love with a floral spread. They put my vision into reality, and created a magical, warm feel for my day. I am extremely thankful to Kelly and her entire team for helping us, and would strongly recommend them. -

Planning these things is difficult since it will be custom made, you commit to purchasing it before you see it. I do wish I had been able to see a table completely set up before I decided to purchase 23 of them. Luckily in the end, when I walked into my reception I was blown away. The place looked absolutely gorgeous & was a dream come true! All of the flowers for the ceremony & reception worked together with the theme & I LOVED my bouquet! We were very surprise & pleasure with the low cost for the flowers. The centerpieces ended up costing a bit more than we had expected but for the overall look, Im glad we selected them! -

Summer Sent on 10/18/2012I was told by many that Bella Flora was the best in town, that was hardly the case. In the beginning I was pleasantly surprised at the "deal" we thought we were getting; for around $4500 we thought we would be able to have tablecloths, alternating colorful napkins, tall and short centerpieces with a good sized fresh floral arrangements on top, chair covers, sashes for chairs, chandeliers, draping in the room, 10 up lights around the room, a multi colored back drop for the head table, cake table cloth, cocktail hour table cloths, guest book and gift table cloth, my $150 bouquet, bridesmaids bouquets, corsages, fresh floral for the ceremony location and boutonnieres. Turns out there was a multiplier error and the total was missing 23 X $90 centerpieces which I found out about 2 months prior to the wedding on my own! This added over $2000 to our bill that we hadn't expected to pay. Needless to say we couldn't afford to spend almost $8k on decor and flowers so we had to cut out a ton of items that we were very much looking forward to. Granted Kellie, our main contact at Bella, cut back some of the prices we weren't able to have what I had pictured in my mind for the 6 months prior to me seeing this huge error.
It doesn’t stop here. The morning of my wedding I walked into the ballroom and saw that some of the tablecloths were very wrinkled almost like they had been sitting on the floor in a ball. I called Kellie and asked if they would be coming back to steam them and her reply was “they have already been steamed, we can’t get the creases out from the folding!!” I explained that these were not just fold creases and she said she would send someone back out. I cannot say whether or not this was taken care of.
Now I will say that the centerpieces that we down graded to were still very beautiful and the tablecloths are very elegant, but service wise we were shockingly dissatisfied. I would not recommend Bella Flora to future brides to be!!
