    When I first reached out to Bella Bridesmaids, I noticed right away how quick they were to respond and how easy it was to make an appointment. I actually made two! First to go with my mom and MOH to narrow down a dress selection (per recommendation of Bella Bridesmaids), second with all my bridesmaids so they could try what I selected and pick their own neckline.
    My first appointment was with Kelsey who was kind, professional, and so patient! She really listened to my feedback to help my search until I landed on a designer and a color. She answered all my questions about what the process would be like so when I came back I knew what to expect.
    The second appointment was with Kayla who was also kind, professional, and (thankfully) also so patient as I'm sure working with six girls was like herding cats. She rolled with it and was a true pleasure to work with. All my bridesmaids were in LOVE with the dresses and kept commenting how easy it was to put in their order. I even have one bridesmaid in California who was able to go to a local Bella Bridesmaid near her to try on the same dress and get measured, and did all her ordering through the Boston store online. It could not have been easier!

    Having worked in the wedding and hospitality industry, I hold incredibly high standards for customer service and professionalism. I would not hesitate to recommend Bella Bridesmaids to all brides and their girls!!

    I had a great experience at Bella Bridesmaid! They had several bridesmaid dresses I was interested in and were patient and offered good suggestions while my girls were trying them on. We got a discount for posting a picture on Instagram. They also helped me order a cute belt for my maid of honor.

    Brit and Alison are amazing!! They are so incredibly helpful and they make the bridesmaids-dress picking process so easy. They have the best service and selection in Boston - you shouldn't go anywhere else!!!

    Bella Bridesmaids helped me find my bridesmaid dresses in a quick and easy process! I thought they had a great selection and were pretty on par with other bridesmaid dresses. They helped me to select the dresses and get them in quickly so my bridesmaids could get the sale price. Alison and Brit were both very helpful and pleasant to work with. I would highly recommend them!

    As a simple gal planning a farm wedding, I was looking for a bridesmaid dress to wear down the aisle. Brit was wonderful at helping me to find the perfect, simple wedding dress. She was fantastic and everything worked out great!

    Bella Bridesmaid has a great selection of simple, classic bridesmaid dresses. Brit was very helpful, patient and provided great suggestions as I chose dresses with one of my bridesmaids.

    Bella Bridesmaid was a great boutique to work with! I LOVED my Lula Kate bridesmaid dresses, and was actually jealous of my bridesmaids dresses!

    It was nice that all my girls, who are up and down the east coast, were able to go and pick a dress at a salon, and not have to come to Boston to try on the dresses.

    We had a minor glitch, a dress came in a 0 instead of a 10. My own concern was the the measurements were clearly NOT a 0. We did have to buy another dress, but it came in a week.

    Other than that, the selection of Lula Kate fabrics and dresses are wonderful. My girlfriends loved the dresses, and they don't need to shorten to wear again! :)

    Bella Bridesmaids was an easy and helpful place to get dresses for my bridesmaids. In my experience, most of the dresses, you can get at any salon, and we actually went to Bella just because of its ease of access for most of the girls (downtown Boston, when some girls were visiting for a weekend and I don't have a car). When we went, they suggested a dress I hadn't planned on trying on, but, wound up falling in love with. Looking back, I am so grateful for that suggestion, because one of my favorite parts of the wedding were the dresses the girls wore next to me. I think the issues we had were more on the part of the dressmaker and not Bella, but the salon did their very best to make it right. They wound up needing to remake a dress because the maker was going through a line transition and the sizing was completely off, but only one girl out of 6 had any sort of issue, that's including four girls that were across the country. All in all, I think they were responsive and helpful, and patient. I think they'll work really hard to make sure any bride and her girls are dressed just right!

    I was so happy to have found Bella Bridesmaid! Two of my bridesmaids ordered their Joanna August dresses there. The girls were both so helpful and they let us basically take over the entire store to try on several options. The dresses were extremely expensive, but they were gorgeous and very easy to order through the girls at Bella. I would recommend making an appointment and giving yourself more time than you think you will need. Not for the budget bridesmaid- Newbury Street prices but Newbury Street quality as well.

    So helpful and polite. I loved the dresses but two tore (slightly) very easily during the night. The girls were great though!

    I was a little nervous to get my girls' dresses at this Bella after all the negative reviews here, but with bridesmaids in 3 different cities, it was the most convenient place. It ended up being the perfect place for me! I changed my mind on styles multiple times throughout the process, so went back for appointments three times to look at different styles. The consultants were always patient and helpful, and one time we ran about 10 minutes over and were not rushed. Brit was very helpful in determining the best way for my bridesmaid in Europe to get her dress, and everyone was always friendly and laid back. Dresses are perfect and came in over a month earlier than anticipated, all beautiful and correctly sized. Taking off one star because their online showroom is a little hard to use and weird to look at, but actual in-store service was great!

    I could have had an okay experience, but I didn't

    My bridesmaids and I made an appointment in early-December for a June wedding, which is a little bit late, but by no means too late. We were told pretty immediately that the bridesmaids would have to order their dresses by the end of December to get them with enough time for alterations, no big deal. We were the only ones in the store so got the nearly undivided attention of the staff. Though, admittedly, one of them was traveling the next day and was a little bit preoccupied with finishing up arrangements. The dress choosing process seemed to be smooth, if a little bit rushed for my 4 bridesmaids. They kept reasonably good track of what the girls liked and quickly removed the ones they didn't. As we wrapped up, they took our measurements and assured us that they would upload our sizes to the online showroom later that day. This is when it went downhill. The online gallery was created, but it only included one of the dresses in one of the colors that one of my bridesmaids chose. None of the other girls' dress styles were added. I had to email them later with a list of colors and styles to add to the online showroom (things they assured me multiple times they were keeping track of when I tried to take notes.) Then the time comes to order our dresses but their sizes were no where to be found! I called and emailed to inquire about how they should know which sizes matched their measurements and was told that I should have been given a card, which I wasn't. After that, I was completely ghosted. I haven't heard from them since.

    Thankfully I was very early in ordering my bridesmaid dresses, otherwise, my girls wouldn't have anything to wear on my wedding day thanks to Bella's. First, it was incredibly difficult to make an appointment. When we finally got in, they didn't really help us at all. We picked out the dresses to try on, got our own fitting room, returned the dresses we didn't like to the racks, etc. They offered no assistance- the consultants were kind of just standing around. We finally decided on a dress, picked out the color, and filled out the ordering form. 2 of my girls went in later that week and ordered their dresses, including full payment. Another week later, I went with 2 more of my girls to try the dress on. While one girl is trying the dress on, the other girl asks to see what color we are ordering the dress in. I show her, and one of the sales girls happens to overhear (she wasn't even helping us, she was just nearby). Her face immediately went ghost-white and I knew something was wrong. She said "ummm, that color was completely discontinued by that designer months ago." I told her "we were just here a week ago and they let me select that color, 2 girls have already ordered and paid for the dress." All she could tell me was "they shouldn't have let you order that." THANKFULLY this girl happened to overhear our conversation because NO ONE else at Bella's caught this mistake and we likely wouldn't have found out that the order couldn't be processed until the manufacturer contacted them months later- at which point it would be cutting it REALLY close to find another dress. How did no one realize that I was ordering a color that was discontinued MONTHS ago?! They obviously had to refund the 2 girls who already ordered, but it didn't change the fact that we had all wasted time and money (no parking, so $40 uber rides to get there and back) going to try on the dress. They admitted it was their error (though each girl blamed someone else), but overall weren't very apologetic

    Unfortunately, I did not have a great experience using Bella Bridesmaid for my bridesmaid dresses. I will say that there was a great selection at the store and the girls working there are very nice and appear professional. However, I had some major issues that could have seriously affected my wedding. First, the dresses came in 6 weeks later than expected and 2 weeks before my wedding. My BMs had to run to their seamstresses and they only gave us a 10% discount - about $20 per girl (though they did offer that without my asking). They did not do a good job keeping me updated throughout the 6 weeks of lateness and beyond that I never got a very good explanation as to why they were so late. They would promise to send me an update or a tracking number and I’d never get it. Worst of all, they told me the dresses would be navy. The color was called Midnight, but I trusted the girls at Bella considering I walked in saying I only wanted a navy dress and they said this dress came in navy. They were purple!! My wedding colors were navy and blush. And since the dresses got in so late, there was certainly nothing I could do about it even if I wanted to. All in all, I had a great wedding and my BM’s looked gorgeous in their purple dresses, but I was very, very disappointed with my experience.

    Before shopping for bridesmaids dresses, I had heard only good things about Bella Bridesmaid. Unfortunately, my experience was terrible.

    I had emailed and called Bella Bridesmaid to set up an appointment (I will admit they were quite responsive) and asked them if they had 5 specific bridesmaid dresses in stock. They assured me three separate times that they did.

    When I arrived to my appointment, I was shocked to find out that they carried none of the dresses they had specifically promised and was told "to come back another time" -- despite the fact that my mother had specifically come into town for this event.

    Go to L'Elite across the street -- the selection is just as large, they help you buy during trunk shows to take advantage of the best pricing, and they are much nicer and more helpful.

    I was recently a bridesmaid in my sister-in-law’s wedding, and we ordered our dresses from Bella Bridesmaids. The sales staff measured each bridesmaid, but when the dresses came in, the dress only fit one bridesmaid out of 7. Not only did the sales staff at Bella Bridesmaids measure us incorrectly, they didn’t bother to inform us that Jim Hjelm dresses run incredibly small. Every dress store I have been to since has immediately known that you need to go up at least one size with Jim Hjelm dresses – it would have been nice if Bella Bridesmaids informed us of this. Instead, they let a 7-person bridal party order the wrong size and then didn’t offer to help correct the situation when 6 of us were stuck with dresses that fit so tight in the top that we couldn’t breathe. When the bride contacted Bella, they told her we could a) reorder the dress in the right size, which would take 10 weeks (the wedding was in 7 weeks), b) Bella would contact other stores around the country in search of the correct sizes (no one ever got back to us about this), or c) Bella would SELL us additional fabric which we could us to piecemeal the dress together. In the end, the 6 of us all had to spend a significant amount of money on alterations to have the entire top part of the dress let out. When I called the store to address this with them and ask them to help out with the cost of additional alterations, I initially spoke to the owner who said she would give me a call back the next day. When I didn’t hear back from her a week later, I started leaving messages. I called Bella four times over the last 6 weeks and never got a single response. As if it wasn’t bad enough that they measured us incorrectly and didn’t bother to advise how one of their designer’s dresses fit, their customer service is even more deplorable. Had the owner bothered to return my calls, she would have known that I am planning my own wedding, and my bridesmaids will not be purchasing their dresses from Bella.

    I am getting married June 7th and ordered all my bridesmaids dresses through this store. My maid of honor ordered a small and when the dress came in it was huge on her, she tried on my sister's dress that was a medium and it was smaller than her supposed "small." When my maid of honor contacted the Boston store about THEIR error the woman told her there was nothing she could do. The woman who is the owner was completely rude and unprofessional. My sisters have visited other Bella bridesmaids locations and they were 10x more professional and helpful. Bottom line if you like their dresses order from another store.
