    The dress on my dreams

    I had the best experience at Bella Bridal. All the ladies are so friendly. Takes their time with you, super knowledgeable, and really listen to what you’re looking for. I am in love with my dress. I know I made the right choice.

    Wonderful place to by your dress

    Excellent location and fabulous staff! Helpful every step of the way. I only wish I had gone with their recommended tailor/seamstress!

    Dream dress

    I wasnt going to do the whole wedding dress shopping thing but I'm so happy I did it with bella bridal. Even through the obstacles of covid they went above and beyond to give me a once in a lifetime experience and found me my dream wedding dress. It was even better than my dream dress actually and I felt absolutely amazing. Thank you to all the ladies at bella bridal, you're awesome!

    COVID19 wedding planning made easy

    The entire staff couldn't be more professional & personable. Kat was my consultant, and she was sooo sweet; she made me feel so good about myself. My family was even being pretty rude & controlling and they remained so nice & professional. Melissa is INCREDIBLE. She communicated updates on my dress with me and talked me through when everything should be done including alterations. I trust them completely and everything showed up on time EVEN DURING COVID19. They really had me not stressing at all and made planning a wedding during weary times so easy. Melissa just worked with me and even squeezed me in to pick up my dress when they literally JUST WERE UNPACKING It. I loved working with them and would highly recommend to anyone!

    Wedding September 2019

    I had such an amazing experience, we were greeted with champagne and it was very private and personal couldn’t of asked for a more special day. Went to two other boutiques and the experience doesn’t compare and best of all I said YES to the dress 😍

    Personalized and friendly

    Bella Bridal Couture was such a pleasant experience. When my MOH and I first walked in we were warmly greeted and offered champagne during the appointment. As a bride I was dreading trying on dresses. Nothing makes me feel more self conscious about my body than looking at myself in dress that was non-flattering and having to be negative about what I didn’t like. For this appointment I went in with an open mind and willing to try on any style as I didn’t want to feel overwhelmed and stressed as I have in previous appointments at different salons. My MOH and I were given clips to tag any dress we liked that I could try on. It was fun to see what I picked out vs. what my MOH picked out. The girls were so helpful in pulling dresses that fit what I was looking for. I did have one dress in mind but Bella did not have that exact dress but they did have a similar dress. I was hesitant about trying it on as I didn’t want strapless but when I tried it on I fell in LOVE! I could not believe that the dress I thought I didn’t want was actually the dress that fit me the best! They jacked me up with all the bridal accessories and I knew that I found my dress. Customer service was phenomenal I was not local and they were willing to work with me in making sure I got the dress in time. I would highly recommend making an appointment as my experience was very relaxing and stress free.

    They are simply wonderful. They make you feel so beautiful and give you their guidance and opinion which was very helpful. A lot of bridal stores won't let you take pictures in the dresses which is a shame. Luckily Bella Bridal does or else I wouldn't have found my perfect dress! My mom took a picture of my in a few dresses and I wasn't sure of any at the time. After seeing my photo, we immediately called the store so I could come back in and try it on. They even kept the store open late so my sister could drive up to see me in the dress. They are absolutely the best!

    This is such an amazing bridal boutique! My experience was like my very own little episode of "Say Yes to the Dress". They made me feel so comfortable and kept me excited about finding the perfect dress. I was greeted with champagne and I felt like a princess the entire time I was there. And best of all.........I said YES TO THE DRESS!!!!!!!

    Fairytale Dress Shopping Experience

    I grew up watching TLC's "Yes to the Dress" and have always dreamed of having that experience. Bella Bridal Couture not only brought my dream to life, they made it a fairytale dream come true! I made my appointment online, which was so convenient, they followed up my online appointment with a personal phone call to confirm and gather more information about my vision. When I arrived with my mom and sister, we were greeted by Katherine, who immediately set the tone of an exciting experience. She was so warm and welcoming, unbeknownst to her, her mere energy reshaped my self-consciousness into excitement. Katherine ushered us to our private appointment area where we were introduced to Taylor the stylist. Taylor had the same great energy as Katherine, and redirected all my insecurities into celebrations. When they say, they carry dresses for ALL brides, they mean it! There was not a single dress that I was told did not come in my size, which as a curvy bride was one of my biggest fears. Taylor was hyper attentive to each comment and reaction, when selecting dresses for me to try on next. Each dress getting better than the one before, and then THAT moment happened. The one I grew up watching on TV, the tears, the chills, the full experience in it's entirety, that I had only dreamed of. I highly recommend Bella Bridal Couture to all Southern California Brides. If you're looking for that fairytale experience, this is where you will find it!

    Warning: Terrible Communication at Bella Bridal


    TLDR _ Warning: Terrible Communication at Bella Bridal - If you value communication when ordering your wedding dress, steer clear of Bella Bridal. My experience was marred by unfulfilled promises, missed deadlines, and a complete lack of responsiveness. I ordered my dress a month earlier than required, with a promised July arrival for my late September wedding. However, the poor communication led to constant delays, heightened stress, and unfulfilled promises. Multiple attempts to contact them were ignored. The dress finally arrived just a little over 30 days before my wedding. The experience lacked professionalism, with no tracking number provided. Disturbingly, I discovered a pattern of similar issues affecting other brides. Do not recommend; exploring other local shops for a better experience. Read on for the details."

    Do not go to Bella Bridal if you want to have any level of communication with what is happening with your dress. I went to Bela Bridal for one of my two dresses ( main gown), I ordered my dress a month earlier than needed to be purchased in December. When placing my order I was told it would be in July of next year, for my late September wedding. Once it got closer to my dress's arrival I started reaching out to the shops, I was assured over email my dress would be due in July.

    Once July had come I started reaching out more, email was okay but phone was not so much. Each time the shop would say we will let you know when it's here. Then the last week of July the shop informed me my dress should land maybe Friday and they would call me. Friday came and went I tried reaching out and at this point, somehow communication began to slip even more. The dress is now past the date/month I was originally given with very little communication on the shop's end.

    I'm going to try to keep this short, this is over a month of poor communication that led to very high stress. I kept having pretty much the same situation happen two or three more times. I would call multiple times and never get a callback. I had to go into the store multiple times because they would not pick up my phone calls or answer my emails and we were past my dress's arrival date. I was given three maybe four different dates that they said my dress would land. The date would come and go with no communication efforts made on the shop's side, I would never reach out even when the date passed. I would have to call and call or show up in person to get the same excuse.

    One answer that really stuck out was when we showed up in person I was told that they were not getting voicemails. Another time I felt like I confirmed they were avoiding my calls, I had tried multiple times to call the shop when I was supposed to be called by them about my dress landing (I was on the way to get my second dress from a different shop I had ordered a month later, I had really started to get stressed at that point) but never was called (like normal). I had to be the one to reach out. I called on my cell a few times no answer so I immediately called on my friend's cell and they picked up for her right away. From my perspective when they pick the phone up and heard it was me, it seemed like an ooo shit moment asked for a moment on hold.

    All in all my dress came in around August 23 almost 30 days out from my wedding. My dress needed major alterations that the shop knew about. So getting it that close was not a pleasant experience I was not sure if I have a dress for a good period of time. The communication with the shop was the worst part of the wedding overall hands down, it was so bad I even ended up buying a third dress off the rack. The dress landed on 8/23 the last day before I was going to take my backup into alteration and not receive the dress.

    It seemed like took me asking about what my rights were to cancel the order and get a refund or really any level of communication to get kind of started but was never professional for any setting let alone bridal in my opinion. One tip-off for me from the start was they never had a tracking number, getting three dates that the dress never arrived or was called back on made me think they were just lying to get me to go away.

    I think it is worth sharing that since this started I have learned of two other brides who have had the same problems, just through work I would not consider this a one-off but a pattern. I do work indirectly with the wedding industry and was shocked by their communication I would not recommend going to them. If you want one of the designers they carry there are other shops locally or close to it go there instead.

    Terrible experience!

    If I could give 0 stars I honestly would. I initially went into Bella Bridal in February with no intention of actually finding "the one". My mom was in town for a bridal show and I thought it would be something fun we could do together so I figured what the heck? Let's do this. I tried on a few dresses and kept going back to the first one I tried on. I found a stunning Martina Liana gown that perfectly matched my vision for my wedding day. The first red flag though was that the dress was more than double what my budget was at the time (which Bella Bridal was well aware of). After talking things over with my mom and knowing that I basically had a year to pay for it, I decided to pull the trigger and purchased it anyway. We filled out the paperwork, took the obligatory "I said yes to the dress" picture, was told that the dress would take 6-8 months to arrive and was on my way.

    Over the next few months, I called to get updates and just to make sure that everything was on schedule so that I wouldn't need to stress about anything over the holidays. During one of those calls, I was told that my dress was actually ahead of schedule and was due to arrive in early October. I was thrilled! Especially knowing that in the time since I had originally ordered my dress I had lost close to 40 lbs and would need some extensive alterations in order to make it fit properly. Unfortunately, that's where the thrill ended...

    On October 1st I called to get an update and see if I could get a solid date on delivery and was told it hadn't shipped yet but should be arriving the first week of November. Um. Ok? My wedding was in January so that immediately started setting off alarm bells and raising red flags but I was assured that with it arriving at that time there would be plenty of time for alterations and "not to worry." The first week of November rolls around, and still no dress. This time I was told it would be arriving ON November 12th and not to worry because there was still "plenty of time". Welp...sure enough November 12th rolled around and still no dress. At that point, I was officially panicking. After a VERY long conversation with the salon manager, and numerous assurances that "no bride leaves unhappy", I was told yet again that the dress would be there the following week. Not only was the dress NOT there the following week, but that is where the communication and follow through officially stopped.

    At this point, it was the week before Thanksgiving and the last communication I had received from Bella was from nearly a week prior (regardless of the fact that I left numerous voicemails requesting tracking information, contact information from Martina Liana, or ANYTHING to ensure that my dress would 1) actually be arriving or 2) be arriving with enough time to alter it). At this point the amount of panic and anger I was feeling was insane. I spoke to the salon manager on the phone on Wednesday, was told I would receive a call back on Thursday, left voicemails on Thursday, Friday and Saturday (none of which were returned) and the salon was closed on Sunday and Monday. My wedding planner was reaching out to the owner with her personal cell phone number, Facebook messages, etc. and still no response or reply.

    By Monday of the week of Thanksgiving (and less than 40 days to my actual wedding), I finally had to accept the fact that I was not going to be wearing the dress I had more than doubled my budget for and was instead going to need to buy a new dress off the rack and pray that it could be altered in time for the big day. I made a last-minute appointment at David's Bridal and was treated like a freaking princess! Not only did they help me find a new dress, but they immediately took me into alterations and started fixing my new dress to fit.

    You would think the experience would end there...but nope. Sure enough, on Wednesday (now two days after I went to David's Bridal and purchased a whole second dress and a full WEEK since I had last heard a peep from some at Bella Bridal) I get a call saying that my dress was finally arriving that day. I have never so instantly seen red like this before in my life. The fact that I was FINALLY getting this call after trying for a week to get in touch with them literally was beyond my comprehension. For them to say "No bride leaves here unhappy"...this bride was LIVID.

    The number of times the ball was dropped in regards to proper communication, or even simply getting a freaking tracking number is beyond me. Neither the salon owner OR manager took ANY responsibility or ownership of the situation and while I did finally end up with the dress, none of this was handled in a way that is even a little bit acceptable. The amount of added stress and money that was spent on an extra dress was insanity. So future brides, be careful and make sure you leave MONTHS of buffer room if you decide to shop with Bella Bridal.
