  Annabel was AMAZING. She was very easy to work with and was very calm even during all the craziness, which helped to keep me (bride) calm. Annabel was very responsive and tailored our experience to exactly what we were looking for. She also shot our engagement photos. The pictures were gorgeous. If it's in your budget, Annabel is worth every penny and more. Many many thanks to Annabel for making our wedding day fantastic.

  Let me first say that even though all vendors for your wedding are important, when its all said and done, 30 years later, the photographs are what you have left to remember your special day. (and share with your grandchildren). So finding the right person who gets your style and delivers amazing pictures is really priceless. Boy, did we luck out!!!
  
  We had the pleasure of Having Dorothee for our vintage circus themed wedding at the end of May, 2011. Her cheerful disposition, amazing artistic eye, and professionalism were just amazing! She took over 1500 pictures and didnt miss a moment! She really understood the photojournalism look I wanted to acheive-- more candid, sophisticated, and artistic than run-of-the-mill wedding photos. With all of the circus performers and small details we worked so hard to put together, dorothee didnt miss a beat. She was loved by all of the guests and a true joy to work with. all of my guests raved about all of the shots she took, and those that didnt make it to the wedding were super impressed with the beauty of the photography. I really cannot say how much I appreciate all of her hard work.
  
  Brides-- if you are still looking, you really CANNOT find a better photographer.

  This is the second time I've used Belathee (my daughter a few years ago, and my own marriage this year), specifically Annabel Braithwaite. Delighted in both cases with the results. Both formal and informal pictures are great. She's easy to work with, creative, with a great eye for good pictures.

  We only used half of the Belathee team (just Dorothee) but we are beyond happy with our experience. Dorothee works in Seattle only part of the year (she also works in New York) so finding a time to meet with her in person was tricky, but not at all as hard as I thought. She was really responsive to e-mails and calls and sent us lots of samples of their work. She was really on top of things leading up to the day of. She didn't have an agenda, just wanted to listen to what we wanted out of our photos but was always there with suggestions when we had no ideas.
  
  We like to describe her on the day of as being the perfect balance of present and invisible. She was great at directing our brood for group shots, but invisible during the party so she could get some great candids. We are SO so so happy with our pictures. I'll probably end up showing them to people on the street once they come in the mail, that's how excited about them I am. Hire these ladies! They have an incredible talent.

  With Belathee Photography, you get two very experienced photographers with two very different eyes. Dorothee does alot of black and white pics as well as your traditional photos While Annabel goes for the more abstract pictures. Their work is unbelieveable. We couldn't have asked for a better pair to be part of our day.

Dorothee does alot of black and white pics as well as your traditional photos While Annabel goes for the more abstract pictures. Their work is unbelieveable.   We booked Anabell of Belathee after reviewing her gorgeous work on the website and Instagram account. Her dramatic photography style is what drew me in. She's very relaxed and sort of zen-like - was able to chime in and cheer me up if things were going wrong. She scouted a gorgeous spot for our first look, which are my favorite photos of the bunch. She captured some beautiful shots, and made great use of natural light and interesting angles. I would not hesitate to book her again except for one matter, which was really important to me (maybe it's not important to you) - turnaround time on pictures. The contract read 8-10 weeks for turnaround on pictures. I signed thinking yes, this is what they say to cover themselves but no, we did not see a peek of the work until 9 to 10 weeks. I would blame my own impatience, but I was active on many bridal forums where 75% of users got at least a preview of pics to share within a week or two of their wedding. I liked that the photos were ours to have and we didn't have to fuss with buying pricy prints or albums through Belathee.
