  Fantastic Service

  I absolutely loved working with this team. They absolutely know what they are doing. They really know how to get the party started and keep it going. I have not met a DJ yet that gives every vendor love and keeps everything perfectly on time. Thanks so much for everything. I can't wait to see you again!

  Our Wedding Would Not Have Been The Same!

  I cannot speak highly enough about Elizabeth and her team - and neither can my guests! She MC'd the entire wedding, she kept things moving and on schedule, and she came up with cute games to keep the guests entertained and engaged while we took photos. She and her team fluttered around setting up lights on the trees (outdoor venue), played great music for all different age groups, and really made everything feel special and unique. If I could gift her package to everyone, I would! Thank you Elizabeth!!

  DJ Elizabeth is amazing!! We booked her and loved every minute of our Wedding. She had great prices and does it all. She is great with music preferences, MCs, hosts games, uplighting, monograms, smoke/fog machine, mics, and decor! She is wonderful & knows what she is doing. We had no issues at all, and she was able to handle our last minute change flawlessly.

  Elizabeth was amazingly helpful, professional, and efficient throughout the entire planning process. The wedding had minor issues like I believe all do realistically (not with her services; just in general) but she made sure it was never apparent. She was so flexible when it came to appointments and last minute changes and her response time was unreal. She met so many of my ridiculous requests and worked with me on the unrealistic ones - I can be pretty difficult at times since I'm a control freak and a perfectionist - Her teams services the day of was impeccable! It's 3 months later and I'm still receiving compliments from guests about the DJ and lighting (BTS provided DJ, MC, Lighting, and decor). Anyone planning a wedding knows how trying it can get and that you end up disliking some of your vendors by the end but I definitely remained pleased with BTS the entire year and a half we spent planning. She truly made our event! I couldn't be happier that we decided to use her even though her bid wasn't the cheapest it was worth every dollar. Look no further, I PROMISE you won't be disappointed!!!!!

It is such a beautiful accent and your guests will love it (plus it looks amazing in pictures!) Elizabeth DJ'ed our event and her assistants kept the party going by dancing and getting people on their feet!!   I knew when I hired Liz for my sisters wedding this May that I was in good hands. This woman made you feel like family from the get-go. She was always very warm, professional and determined to give you absolutely what you want. I came to her with event lighting needs and before you know it, she was providing av equipment for a slide show and creating a backdrop for the main stage too. I simply could not have asked for more. She gave more than any vendor normally would and made me feel taken care of every step of the way until it was finally time to go home. And because of that she will get my business in the future and will recommend her to anyone needing event lighting. Kudos to her and her team. Amazing job:)

  If your looking for perfection these are the people you want to work with, from start to finish the process was exciting and professional derwin and Elizabeth are so wonderful they made my wedding over the top and enjoyable. I wouldn't think twice about hiring them again for other occasions, well worth the money..

  I used "Behind the Scenes" for lighting at my wedding. They were wonderful and absolutely made the whole wedding. The owners are professional and very accommodating. The lighting was spectacular and all my guests couldn't stop talking about it. Plus they were a lot less expensive than other lighting companies I contacted. In addition, our DJ didn't show up until the last minute and we were worried that he might not show up at all. We asked "Behind the Scenes" if they could take over as the DJ if ours didn't show. They said absolutely. They were there and ready to set up in case we needed them. Luckily our DJ did show up. However, if I had to do it over again, I would have hired "Behind the Scenes" for both lighting and DJ service. You can count on them to be there early, be prepared, and handle any emergency (even when it's not theres.) You won't find a better lighting company or better owners anywhere.

  Elizabeth and Dee were absolutely amazing! We had this unique vision for our wedding and they were able to deliver! They made our wedding fun and memorable. People are STILL talking about our wedding and how awesome and fun it was. It was definitely different and with the DJ's, they were able to make it memorable and entertaining for everyone. There was not a dull moment throughout the wedding, including the reception. We chose to have our bridesmaids and groomsmen dance down the aisle to different music, which the dj's blending in perfectly. We also had a few other unique additions to our wedding and Elizabeth and Dee made it better than we could have ever imagined! We still keep in touch with the both of them and look forward to doing business with them in the future. They were absolutely awesome!

  My husband and I hired BTS for our wedding lighting for 11/09/13. We were very happy with their service. At first I was not sure if I even wanted lighting but I knew that my venue needed it. My venue had plain colored dull walls and a huge plain backdrop behind the head table. As a result, I knew I wanted lighting around the walls of my venue and personalized lighting of my husband and I's names with wedding date. After coming across them on Yelp with good reviews we decided to meet with them. After meeting with them we were sold! The showed us pictures and even showed us sample lighting. They also quickly responded all of our questions and concerns via email. I also liked how they kept in touch with us during the wedding planning process. For example, they sent us a postcard a little bit before the wedding and they even sent us a Christmas card that included our disc with our personalized wedding lighting. The only reason I give them a 4.9 is because I didnt think their sons would be the one setting up our venue because when we met with them they had mentioned they would be the ones decorating and making sure our venue was transformed and looked better. After finding out that they were not the ones who would be coming out to decorate they assured that their sons were capable as it was part of their business too. When it came down to the day of, I had no problem with the lighting at all! Our personalized names with wedding date on the back of our head table is what stands out the most.   Behind the Scenes DJ'd and MC'd my outdoor, backyard, fall wedding. They did an awesome job! The music was great, the atmosphere was great, and everyone had a great time. I especially loved the games that they included, which made my day unique and special to my guests, and kept them from feeling bored. Elizabeth and Dee are professional, courteous, and a lot of fun. The only issue I had was that some of the names in my bridal party were wrong or mispronounced when they were announced. No biggie. Otherwise they were awesome and I'd totally recommend them to other couples.

  My husband and I hired this duo for our wedding after interviewing 6 different DJ's. These 2 welcomed us into their home and were very friendly and eager to show us why we should hire them. We left their house, with one other appointment to go, but my mind was made up! I wanted to hire these guys! They were very easy to work with and appeared to have their act together. Our wedding day finally arrived and we were in for a surprise. Not only did they announce us incorrectly during our grand entrance (didn't say my husband's simple first name "Timothy" they called him by his best man's name) but Dee continued to address my husband by his best man's name throughout the wedding reception. I understand, accidents happen, so we let it go. Then, it was time for the bridal party dance and they played the wrong version of the song we wanted them to play after we specified at least 4-5 times and even played the song we wanted for them! At this point, we were very disappointed. They were the root of the only problems we had on our beautiful wedding day. If we could do the wedding over again, we would've kept everything the same BUT the dj's. We were very disappointed and will not be recommending them to anyone (a few friends who are getting married have asked who our DJ was and we simply tell them our experience.) At the end of the day, Behind the Scene Sounds is not worth the money paid.

  First I'd like to say sorry the Santen's were not happy. We worked very hard to make sure they had a perfect wedding. We also gave them a substantual discount because they were referred by a very happy & pleased friend. Yes, Dee did address the groom by the best man's name, no excuse for that. As far as the bridal party song goes they played a snippit of the song and gave us the title & artist. It was a very obscure genre and when we purchased it from i-tunes it was the only choice. In the future we will make sure if it is an unfamiliar genre we have the right version. We're always learning. This bride didn't mention what a great time her guest had and that several guest were interested in our service for their event. The bottom line is, our clients were not happy and for that we are very sorry. We enjoyed working for this couple and worked very hard to make sure we honored their wishes. By the way you will be hard pressed to find any review like this by our former and regular clients. We will continue to offer exceptional service. We'd like to wish them a long and fullfilling marriage!
