Best florist in Sarasota!

Bee ridge florist took care of all of my flowers on my wedding day and they did an amazing job! They were so helpful and completely made all of my dreams come true. Could not recommend them enough!

Absolutely perfect arrangements and arch!

I used Bee Ridge Florist as my florist for my wedding in Feb. 2020. I had incredible service, especially while planning from across the country. Everyone that works at Bee Ridge florist took such great care of us and created exactly what I asked for through pictures. The archway was stunning both during our afternoon ceremony and for sunset pictures! I could not have asked for better floral arrangements and would recommend them to anyone planning a wedding in the Sarasota area!

Drop Dead Gorgeous Flowers

I was blown away by how beautiful my bouquet was. Everyone was so plesent to work with, especially after a disaster experience at Beneva Florist. They were more than willing to work on such a small order and you can tell they pull their all into it. A must hire!

The perfect meal.

This was the perfect choice for us. First of all, affordable. Not only that but good, quality food. We got the grilled chicken with greek potatoes, which were so lemony and perfect, and fresh green beans. It all comes with a side salad and a roll. Everything was delicious. I would hire them again.

Bee Ridge Florist did all my centerpieces, bouquets, boutonnières, and flowers for the church. I worked with Carl and he did exactly what I wanted and more!
My bouquet was absolutely beautiful and centerpiece at the reception were perfect!
Carl with Bee Ridge Florist was great to work with, very responsive and always got back to me with any questions I had!

Demeris Catering is the BEST!!

Demeris Catering was amazing. GREAT food, excellent full service from start to finish. Very professional and accommodating, and the price was very affordable!! Lots of options on food / drink / tables / chair etc...they have it all....I will definitely use them again!!!

Professional and great service

My husband and I worked with Barbara from Bee Ridge Florist and I can't begin to tell you how awesome she is! My first meeting with Barbara really told me a lot about her. She was so sweet, kind, and respectful! I had some vague ideas about what I was wanting flowers wise, and Barbara knew exactly what to do! I sent her the pictures that I had for certain things that I was wanting and she made it happen! When it came to my wedding day, everything was delivered that I had ordered and the arrangements came out better than I had expected! Everything was stunning! If you decide to choose Bee Ridge Florist, I absolutely recommend working with Barbara! She will not disappoint you!

Barbara was amazing to work with at Bee Ridge Florist! She was always so quick to respond to emails and get back to my phone calls. I would tell her my ideas and she knew exactly how to make them a reality! The flowers and greenery were absolutely beautiful and the execution of delivery and set up was flawless. Made our day so easy to work with Barbara!

My flowers for my wedding were GORGEOUS! Barbara did a amazing job! Since my first appointment with her I knew she would be my florist. My wedding was the day before mothers day which is one of the busiest times for florists. Nevertheless, Bee Ridge delivered right on time with beautiful and fresh flowers. Barbara understood right away exactly the style I was going for and created more beautiful bouquets than I even imagined. I would highly recommend this vendor!

Bee Ridge provided all of the flowers for my wedding and they did an amazing job! I was absolutely obsessed with my bridal bouquet - I could not stop looking at it. It came out better than I had imagined. The centerpieces they created looked very elegant. We also rented our chairs, chargers and uplighting from their sister company All Event Rental and everything came together beautifully. I also felt that the pricing for both companies was very reasonable.

My flowers were the most beautiful wedding flowers I have ever seen! My bouquet still looks gorgeous nearly 7 days later. I worked with Jennifer Matteo and she was able to use my inspiration images to have Bee Ridge create everything I needed for both the ceremony and the reception. I highly recommend them.

Carl and his crew were a pleasure to work with! They did all our floral arrangements for our wedding and we couldn't be any happier with the way everything turned out.
From our 1st meeting with Carl at the wedding site to our viewing they did of 1 table fully set up to the viewing of our actual arrangements the day before the wedding we felt at ease knowing they understood what we were envisioning and worked hard to make it come true for us!
Just thinking about what my bridal bouquet looked like still puts a smile on my face!

I used Bee Ridge Florist for my July 2015 wedding and worked with Alecia. I only used them for my bridal party flowers, not decor florals. From the beginning Alecia was easy to work with and quickly responded to all my emails. I planned with her through pictures and emails as I don't live in the area. I was very pleased that she offered a preview of my florals the day before my wedding. That is a fabulous idea and should be offered everywhere! My bouquet was lovely at the preview but I wanted it to be a bit larger and fuller. Alecia gladly made the changes and it was just perfect! My bridesmaids bouquets were picture perfect, blue hydrangeas and ivory roses.

In addition, I asked Alecia to make something different for me, a floral anklet. She had never made anything like that but did it right on the spot while I waited so that the fit and design would be right. It turned out really beautiful and I received a lot of great compliments on it! I really appreciate her taking a chance on something different. All of my flowers were just stunning and I would eagerly use them again if I have the chance. The entire staff was great, but working with Alecia was just perfect!

The floral decor provided by Bee Ridge florist was simply beautiful. I'm sure our wedding will be talked about for months to come. My bouquet was so nice, I didn't even want to toss it. In fact , I saved my bouquet and tossed one of my bridesmaids bouquet. I was 100% satisfied with Bee Ridge Florist.

VERY DELICIOUS FOOD!!!! We were struggling at first (and I was freaking out because the wedding was getting closer) and we had not found a caterer yet until our venue suggested Demeris to us. For it being kind of a short notice for such an event they were available and glad to cater our wedding. On the day of they were a little bit late but I was not upset at all. There happen to be an accident plus the construction in area which made them like 10-15 minutes behind and it also made some of our guest late too. But when they got there they set up quick and had our guest eating in no time. The food was hot and delicious. The set up was nice, very presentable and the employees were very kind and all had smiles on their faces. When the dinner was over they packed all that was left nicely and stored it for us in the kitchen, which was great for our guest who showed up later and had empty tummies. I would definitely use them again for other big events and recommend them to whomever. They have so many options you can choose from.

Alecia at Bee Ridge Florist was so helpful and patient with me. I live in Ohio and was unable to go to the shop for a consult. We had phone conversations and pictures sent via email. Mya Widmyer and Carl Wise were very helpful during our initial consultation regarding the flowers for our rehearsal dinner and wedding day. We had a preliminary vision, but were not sure what types of flowers to go with for our centerpieces. They took the time to understand what our ideas were and made innovative recommendations regarding flower options. Due to their knowledge and expertise, we were able to quickly decide the types of flowers to get as well as the amount of each to ensure we ordered the appropriate amount. In addition, the floral team at Bee Ridge Florist prepared exceptionally beautiful arranged flowers for our wedding day. We chose the types of flowers for each arranged piece, but left the creativity up to the team. As a result, the bouquets, boutonnieres, and arch pieces were actually prettier than we could have ever imagined. We had no doubt they would be amazing as we continually get arranged flowers from Bee Ridge Florist and are always satisfied. The bulk flowers were ready when requested, and the arranged flowers were delivered promptly the day of our wedding. Our service expectations were exceeded by Bee Ridge Florist. We would highly recommend them not only for wedding floral essentials but for any floral needs!

In September 2014, my wife and I contracted the services of Jennifer Matteo and Bee Ridge Florists for our upcoming wedding. This was the best decision we made with the exception of us getting married. There are not enough good things I can say about Jennifer and the quality of service she and her team provided. The flowers and decorations were absolutely amazing. Jennifer and her team made every effort to ensure that the decorations and flowers at the ceremony and the reception were the best of quality and were exactly as we had envisioned.
We contracted Jennifer to be the “Day of Coordinator” for our wedding, and we would suggest that all brides and grooms to be, seriously consider the option. From the moment we met with Jennifer, all of our stress and worries about the planning and coordinating of the wedding disappeared. Jennifer worked with us every step of the way and was willing to go that extra mile to make sure our special day was magical and that each and every one of our needs and requests were met. Her professionalism and attention to detail was exceptional and here positive attitude, even in trying times, is infectious.
Since our wedding was in a remote city from our home, we struggled finding quality and trustworthy vendors. Again, Jennifer was our angel. With some suggestions made by Jennifer, we were able to fulfill all our vendor needs and the process couldn’t have been easier. From equipment rental to the wedding cake, Jennifer had the answers and the contacts to help us achieve our vision. We truly can’t say enough times, that Jennifer made our wedding a stress free magical event that would not have been possible without her.

I am not interested in participating in a chance to win a free bouquet but I am interest in relaying an outstanding experience I had while doing business with Bee Ridge Florist. My name is Christopher and I used your company’s services to provide flowers and a wreath for my wife’s celebration of life ceremony on December 14th. I not only received the best price and value in town (trust me, I did my homework) but I was treated with such respect and courtesy that I had to relay my positive experience.
There was a woman in particular that took such good care of me. She designed the most beautiful wreath and made doing business with your company extra special. I worked with Alecia and she did the most awesome job! She was a delight to work with and completely understood what I wanted to achieve and she did it!! The arrangements were more amazing than I anticipated and I have worked for years with florists up North, and she came through with fabulous arrangements that were even within my price range. I couldn't be happier. They were creative and beautiful. This was for a special Birthday event though, not a wedding, but it meant alot to me for the flowers to be perfect.

After numerous hours of research and multiple emails to several florists back and forth for quotes, I found Bee Ridge Florists. I feel very blessed to have found them. They had the best values for all the flowers I ordered. Carl Wise was also very easy to communicate with. He responds to emails promptly and is willing to work around your schedule to meet with you. I was also worried because I couldn't find a place that had light green carnations and light green roses to go with our color theme. After hours of searching, and talking to other florist who wanted to do airbrushed flowers, we found Bee Ridge Florists. They were the only ones who had natural green carnations and jade roses (naturally crossbred roses that has light green tint). We also ordered beautiful loose yellow daisies for our centerpieces and they came our beautifully and bloomed just in time. We were able to preview our bouquets and corsages the day before. I told Aleicia that my bouquet looked a little wilted and that there was a mix up and the groomsmen boutonnieres were supposed to be yellow carnations instead of roses. She changed everything that night and everything was perfect for my wedding!!! She picked the best of the fresh yellow roses and redid my bouquet overnight. It was just beautiful! For the great value that we paid and for the amazing service we got and for how beautiful and perfect the bouquets, corsages, boutennieres, and loose flowers for our centerpieces, we were very very very satisfied w/ Bee Ridge Florists. We would not hesitate to do business with them in the future!

The flowers for my wedding were beautiful and it is all because Alecia is a creative genius!!!! I have known Alecia for years and followed her from each florist/event company she has been with BECAUSE she always goes that extra mile to make an event special. Since I know her work so well, I was able to assign my mother "flower duty" and she worked with Alecia to design and select flowers. My trust in Alecia is so high that I didn't even know what the flowers were or how they would look until I walked down the aisle. And it was PERFECT!

We had a backyard wedding and wanted the flowers to be very professional to tie everything together. My lavender rose boquet was beautiful and I was able to come look at it they day before the wedding. All the centerpiece flowers and bridesmaid boquets were exactly what I dreamed they would be. They were able to come deliver them early on a Sunday morning, right before the ceremony so they would stay fresh. Overall, the perfect place to buy flowers for any occasion and the prices are very reasonable!

Jennifer and her team did an outstanding job with the centerpieces for our wedding, as well as, the rest of the flower arrangements. Their pricing was fair and more reasonable than other vendors in the area.
She was willing to work with our budget and make sure that we were 110% satisfied with the results. Best flower shop in the area! I personally recommend them to you. Once you see what they can do for you, you won't ever shop anywhere else.

The best caterer in Houston, hands down! We had issues with our original caterer that came with the venue, so 3 months before the wedding we were without a caterer. But then, what a blessing it was to meet George at Demeris Catering, they made our wedding food perfect and saved the day!
They were very affordable, nice, flexible, honest, caring, and above all make absolutely DELICIOUS food that our guests talk about weeks after the wedding. Our menu choices included: appetizers - stuffed mushroom cups and bruschetta sliders, main course - potatoes, green beans, salad, bread roll, and chicken florentine (this was the best).

The staff during the evening did an excellent job, even boxed up all the left-overs, cut the cakes for us, and acted very professional with our guests.
If we had to do it all again, we would pick Demeris Catering in a heartbeat. We will be using them for upcoming events in the future for catering purposes now!

From the beginning I felt comfortable with this company. They take care of every step and do it well. I am very skeptical of everybody and everything but was able to feel comfortable with every step. My family can make things very hard, but my planner made these things as easy as can be. I couldn't have worked with a better company.

We used Bee Ridge Florist and Events for our Burns Night Dinner Party. The service they offer was great start to finish. To seat 20 people for dinner I needed chairs, tables, cloths, plates, glasses etc. They delivered and picked up exactly when they said they would. Everything was clean, and overall a very good price. I would definitely use them again, or recommend them to a friend.

Bee Ridge Florist did the most amazing job with my wedding flowers!!! I was married at the Powel Crosley Estate and the column pieces they made were to die for. I loved that I was able to preview the flowers the day before and they were so helpful and offered up many different ideas to choose from. I needed guidance figuring out what I wanted and the final product ended up far more beautiful than anything I could have imagined myself or even any of my items on pinterest! They were extremely professional and friendly. I would recommend to anyone!

All Event Rentals and Bee RIdge Florist were so amazing to work with! They made everything easier! Very accomodating and responsive always! This was a destination wedding for me and I did not have much time to plan and get to know my vendors. I chose my flowers based on a photo on their website. The flowers looked even better in person and they were so beautiful and smelled delicious.
The arrangement was perfect and I am glad I was able to choose them online and not have to take a lot of time deciding what to have. The company is very professional and had competitive pricing even during the Valentine's period.

These people are top notch. They did a great job and were super helpful even though we did some of the arrangements and boutineers ourselves. You can even buy wholesale from them! So amazing. Great prices too, so if you want to DIY, you can, but they are so reasonable you might just decide to let them do it all for you.

Carl and his team made the most beautiful flowers I could have ever dreamed of. I got quotes all around town for EXACTLY the same thing and Bee Ridge was able to cut my highest quote in HALF! He was very quick, efficient, and great at making my expensive taste with cheaper alternatives. They set up my centerpieces beautifully and cleaned them up as well. I thought it would be cheaper and easier to do a DIY wedding until I found Bee Ridge Florist. They will make your dreams come true when it comes to flowers. Also a little disclaimer: the day before your wedding you must physically go in and approve your flowers. I was a little shocked to see some browning on the petals; they peel off the bad petals before they are delivered so they look the freshest for photos, so don't be discouraged ladies!

The staff at Bee Ridge Florist were amazing. Since I live out of state everything was done via email. The flowers and ceremony was beautiful. They also did an AMAZING job on my bouquet. I never want my flowers to die! They were so beautiful, and completely exceeded our expectations! Carl Wise was a pleasure to work with, and totally understood our vision. Our flower budget wasn't huge, and we definitely got a lot of bang for our buck. My bouquet was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen, and the centerpieces and ceremony decor were perfect. I would definitely recommend Bee Ridge Florist, and their sister company, All-Event Rentals (we used them for all our rentals--tables, chairs, linens, dishes, glassware, etc), whose prices were several hundred dollars below the next lowest estimate we received.

Excellent food, from elegant passed hors d'ouvres to seated buffet style meat kebabs. George and his staff did a terrific job! They were highly professional, flexible & set up everything. Their staff also helped the rest of us set up our tables as well when we were running behind on set up. They had servers, wait staff, bar tenders, clean up crew, you name it. They were so good, we are having them cater a fajitas and ritas party for us next weekend in Richmond. Delicious food, great value, great price and incredible service. These people are true professionals!!

Carl is the owner of this florist business and literally was my favorite vendor. He took so much time to meet with my mom, event planner and I. He could envision everything I was and dreamed up of. Demeris catered our wedding where they provided passed hor'deurves, buffet style BBQ and our linens. We love that their catering services also included servers/bussers, cake cutting and coffee during the reception. We met with George Demeris a few times and every time, he would offer us a complimentary lunch. He was helpful in helping choose our dinner, telling us what would provide more value so that we could save money. He was even there during the set up of the food. The buffet set up was prettier than I imagined and many of guests complimented us on a great meal. The servers/bussers were attentive and professional. Their food was delicious and we were lucky to have enough leftover to last us for a few days after the wedding.

We used Demeris BBQ for our rehearsal dinner and Demeris Catering for the wedding. People raved about how good the food was...and it was SUPER affordable. All of their prices are clearly listed on the website, which is great. I lowered the flexibility from 5.0 because they can only cater to weddings over 50 people. We had to use delivery for our small wedding but the food was still amazing!! I totally recommend them.

Bee Ridge Florist was awesome. They took my ideas and turned them into a reality. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous and they even created beautiful topiaries for our wedding. On our wedding day it was very windy. The wind ended up blowing over one of the topiaries, however the staff from the florist was still there and they quickly put it back together before I walked down the aisle.

The Most Beautiful Arrangements

Bee Ridge Florist is one of those places you can't forget!

When we first saw the website and walked through the doors, we didn't entirely know what we would see or receive. But we were totally astonished at their craftsmanship and hospitality! They did an amazing job for our wedding.

What they didn't do the best:
- Their responsiveness to emails wasn't that great. We often times had to call, which they always returned a call, to get an answer or change made. They are "old-school" which isn't a bad thing, you just have to be willing to adjust yourself for a season!
- Their building and webpage could use some revamping. We understand that people who create things tend to have a messier workshop. But we just critique that because we don't want people to miss out on their great work due to their first impression being underwhelming!

What they did well:
- We visited a few florists. Bee Ridge's prices were better than most, or similar to the others.
- Among those florists, Bee Ridge made us feel the most at peace. They brought our vision to life. Gave great advice. And made us feel comfortable.
- Their displays at the wedding were so beautiful!! Absolutely one of our favorite parts of the wedding. They did so well.

Demeris was hands-down our best vendor decision! They did the catering (hors d'oeuvres and buffet), open bar, tables, chairs, linens and setup for us. Their staff were amazing and made sure my husband and I were taken care of all night. We received SO many compliments on the food - we did a Tex-Mex/barbecue buffet. George Demeris was so flexible and easy to work with. He gave us great advice and met us over at our venue several times. When we'd meet at their restaurant location, they were always so kind to give us a complimentary meal. Demeris is an awesome family business that provides such value for their impeccable service.

Demeris catered our wedding. We had passed hors' d oeuvres, Chicken Florentine and Roast Beef, all of which were delicious. Our guests commented on how much they enjoyed dinner! George is very attentive, at times very fast paced but hears every word you say. He took care of everything, even let us borrow an extra tablecloth at no charge. They clearly know what they are doing and are very efficient! They were one of the only vendors I did not have to worry about on my wedding day! We also were allowed to provide our own alcohol which they provided mixers for and a Bartender. They are also very reasonable and budget conscious. Will definitely hire again!!

I have worked with Bee Ridge Florist many times and have always found them to be professional and helpful. When we were planning the wedding the only florist I even considered was Bee Ridge.

I am SO happy we chose Demeris to cater our wedding. The service was wonderful and the food was amazing...everybody loved it! Everything from the hors d'oeuvres to the chicken was absolutely delicious. I could not have asked for anything better. We met George at the restaurant to pick and taste our menu and then again closer to the wedding to do a walk through of the venue to discuss layout, setup, and timing. George was extremely helpful, flexible, and honest. I truly felt like my wedding was in very capable and professional hands.

In addition to catering the delicious passed appetizers, open beer and wine bar, and buffet dinner, Demeris also took care of the rentals (tables, chairs, linens, and china). They also cut and served the cake! The entire staff did a great job. Everything was on time or ahead of schedule. Moy was very attentive and did an excellent job coordinating everything the day of. At the end of the evening we had some leftovers, which we graciously packed and sent home with my family. Yummy!

Demeris Catering is worth every penny and definitely a great bargain. We go so many compliments on the food and how good the service was. They know what they're doing!

Demeris did a fantastic job catering our wedding! They were very responsive with all our questions. We got the chicken Florentine and roast beef mains with sides of roasted potatoes, green beans, and salad. They also had delicious passed hor d'oeuvres for cocktail hour. The food was really good, and the wine/beer selection was good as well. Our guests did not leave hungry!
It was also pouring rain during our partially outdoor reception but they made arrangements to have a tent for the outdoor portion so guests were still able to enjoy themselves.

I would definitely recommend Demeris Catering if you want delicious food for a reasonable price. We used Demeris for our wedding, but rather than BBQ, we had chicken Florentine, roast beef, field green salad with pecans, grilled veggies, potatoes au gratin, etc. The food was DELIGHTFUL, and we received many, many compliments. I was shocked at how much caterers will charge for a wedding, so working with Demeris and having such great tasting food on real china was a huge win for us. They even include cake cutting as part of there fee when so many caterers will quote you one price and then nickel-and-dime you. There were some communication issues, but overall, I highly recommend Demeris. Thanks, George!

Carl and his team do amazing work. I walked in the door with an idea and two flowers that I liked and within minutes they had come up with idea for flowers for both the wedding and the reception. They were running a little behind the day of the wedding due to some cr issues but they still got the job done and we were able to start on time. I am very pleased with their work and one of the biggest compliments I get in my pictures are how beautiful and amazing my flowers are.

The flowers were exactly what I wanted. They didnt have many flowers to choose from but with the color scheme I provided they made beautiful bouquets. My maid of honor has been in almost ten weddings and she said by far these were the prettiest arrangement she has seen. I got 4 rose boutineers and two bouquets for approx $121.

Carl at Bee Ridge did a wonderful job on our flowers - they were exactly as I hoped, and the decor at the beach looked truly amazing. They seemed to lose track of my order a lot, but everything turned out perfectly.
The decorations and service from All Event Rental (attached to the florist shop) were great as well. They were affordable and came with fantastic service.

I absolutely loved working with Bee Ridge Florist. Alicia was my point of contact and she was wonderful. They were very flexible and accommodating. Alicia understood that I was on a budget and that I had to stick to it. She was very friendly and made some great recommendations. I wasn't able to view my flowers before my wedding (things just got to crazy right before) so Alicia was kind enough to text me over pictures of everything without even being asked. That really gave me a sense of relief. I would highly recommend Bee Ridge Florist.

Wish I could provide a perfect review, because overall they were great to work with. However, we had a change in guest count that was confirmed through Carl, which would increase our amount of centerpieces by two. I even sent him a spreadsheet of the updated amounts...but at the wedding we were missing two centerpieces!!!! A few times when I called or emailed, I wondered about their organization. Everything was very pretty, however I wasn't too thrilled with the spray painted containers to hold the tall centerpieces. I didn't preview these, and when I saw them all put together, they didn't look very elegant. I was happy with the low centerpieces, and most other things, though.

Carl was very helpful to me in achieving my wedding dreams. Most of the flowers and arrangements looked stunning and I am thankful for all they did on my wedding. The only thing that made me a little annoyed was that I wanted *white* hydrangeas and many of the ones they provided were green. I know this may have something to do with how the flowers came into their shop, but still, I ordered white and they gave me green. It threw off my color palette in the wedding.

My husband and I married on Siesta Key beach this June. We ordered a beautiful arch from All Event Rental and Design and we were recommended to order our florals from Bee Ridge! I live in England, so all of my contact with the company unfortunately had to be done over email. I was in contact with Paula W. the entire time. Paula was nice, but often times her replies were far and few. One email in particular I had replied to was sent on March 4th, and wasn't responded back to from Paula until April 6th. She later told me that she rarely has the chance to sit on her computer, but knowing we were in regular contact and that I was trying to arrange an order, I expected the professionalism to be much better.
I honestly felt that my order wasn't important or wanted by the company and I began looking for other floral companies. As a last attempt, Amy who I was in contact with at All Event Rental and Design ended up dealing with my floral end herself and it was ordered and arranged very quickly after that for us. I had my reservations with staying with Bee Ridge because of our experience with ordering, but honestly, our floral decorations that we were given were gorgeous. My husband and I were very happy. Just wish the order and communication side of it could had been better! But, regardless, Thank you!!!

I had a great experience while planning and placing my order. I was told to go into the store the day before my wedding to preview my flowers. My mom and I went in, they had my bouquet almost finished (they just had to add one type of flower to add) and they had one bridesmaid bouquet ready for me to preview along with the guys boutonnieres laid out.
While yes, the entire order was important there was ONE thing that was SUPER important to me. My 18 year old brother passed away a couple of years ago and I had a small picture of him in a frame that I had bought and wanted tied around my bouquet. I told them about it several times and i brought it in THE DAY BEFORE so that it would be difficult to lose. I even set it next to my bouquet. I have a picture i took on my phone of it sitting RIGHT by the bouquet.
My dad brought the flowers to the venue the next day (the wedding day), I eagerly pulled my bouquet out to see how they attached the image of my brother. IT WASN'T THERE. AT ALL.
Fortunately, I came prepared JUST incase they dropped the ball and I brought a second frame, picture and twine.

I understand that we all make mistakes. I understand as humans we forget things but come on. That photo represents my only brother who could not be there on one of the biggest days of my life. Get it together, have some compassion and prioritize.

We used Bee Ridge for our wedding on 1/7/17 and worked with Paula for our flowers. We also went through their All Events company for our rental equipment.

Initially when working with Bee Ridge I was impressed but as time went on, it seemed more and more difficult. There were some math errors in my initial quote and signed contract that were not caught until weeks after signing and when I was contacted and asked to "check the math for them" I was less than pleased. Although we signed a contact for one number, they wanted us to pay the extra for their math error, although unfair I decided to meet them in the middle. Later on when adding more flowers to my order, I was unhappy to find out they wanted to charge me the initial higher amount again and did not want to abide by their agreement to meet me in the middle. After some talking they agreed to continue to honor it but I just felt the entire process was unprofessional and not pleasant.

On the day before the wedding we went to preview the flowers and they were very nice. All of the bouquets and centerpieces were beautiful and only a few minor changes were requested. We also rented mason jars from them for the aisle bouquets and when they went to pick them up from the venue the day after, I was sent an email stating they could not find them and I would need to get them and bring them to their shop. When I got to the venue, I was told that the mason jars were there the whole time and must have just been overlooked by the florist when they were there earlier. Again, I was met with some rude comments about how "they were not anywhere to be found" when they were there earlier even though the venue told me they were. They did end up picking them up the next day but I feel as though I was met with too much negativity.

All in all, the flowers were gorgeous but the customer service was less than amusing. I would recommend going elsewhere for your flowers to lessen the stress.

I recently used Bee Ridge florist for my wedding. I have to say I was extremely disappointed. In the beginning everything looked promising. However as we got closer to the wedding, things started to fall apart. When I first went in I told them I wanted their set of lanterns as my centerpiece and I had 7 tables. I was told at that time that they only had 6 sets of the lanterns. Okay, no big deal, I had them put together a large bubble bowl with my flowers to put at the finale table. Friday before the wedding, my fiancé and I went in to look over all the flowers. They had everything ready for us to go so the lanterns were in a box set to the side. As we were leaving we noticed a different set of lanterns on a sample table. I pointed it out to the lady and she said that they must have missed them in the inventory. I inquired if I could get those instead of the bubble bowl so all my tables will match. She told me that it would have to be extra if we added those in. Why would I pay for something that they made a mistake on? it was only a $30 difference which is nothing to us but that was bad service on their end. She told me she would get in contact with the rental manager to see if we could use them and she would call me back. I never received a phone call. My wedding was on Sunday and while we were at our venue doing the rehearsal on Saturday they tried to deliver all my flowers a day before. Thankfully we were still there to send them back or else my flowers would have been sitting out overnight. The next day, I was counting all my lanterns and noticed I was missing one small lantern and called the store which transferred to the delivery person and asked them if that was coming later and he told me that he wasn't sure and maybe he threw one in the van. Once the flowers returned the day of the wedding, some of the corsages were smashed. The actually flowers were pretty, however I was very upset with the service. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Do not use this vendor. I tried working with them all with All Events and the original quote I had was almost $2000 less than what was quoted after I gave my deposit. The owner Carl would not work with us. This is not how to do business in Sarasota. Very disappointed. Would not recommend them to anyone.
