Amazing experience
Maya provided flowers for our wedding and she made us feel comfortable throughout the entire process. She was transparent with pricing, worked within our budget, and even surprised us by adding extra flowers to our cake. She was punctual, professional, and easy to work with. The flowers turned out beautiful, and we couldn’t have been happier with the results. We would highly recommend her to anyone planning a wedding or special event. -

Maya made our wedding extremely beautiful and was able to customize what we wanted perfectly, including an amazing hanging arch. It was really perfect and we have no complaints. The flowers and greens, especially the ceiling installation, were beautiful. And she helped us figure out what would look best as well. Definitely recommend! -

Working with Maya and the entire team at Bee Inspired Events is a dream! I first reached out to them in January 2025 for my September 2025 wedding through their website and Maya replied right away. On our first call, Maya was extremely thorough, asking about my vision and what I like, but also ensuring I understood what was possible within my budget. In fact, I really appreciate that every time I spoke with Maya bout a change or update, she made sure to review the budget and ensure that what I wanted would fit. For example, I originally thought about having taper candles alongside florals on my tables and Maya suggested we swap them out for votives/tea lights which were included at my venue. It fit my budget perfectly, but didn't vompromise my vision. And that is just about the process!
Now onto the actual florals--where do I even start? Every single detail was stunning! As soon as Maya came to the hotel with our bouquets, I knew everything would be stunning. And when I walked into the room and saw our chuppah and ceiling installation, I audibly gasped.
I truly cannot recommend Bee Inspired Events enough! You will not be disappointed! -

We grow our own flowers in a community garden plot, so wedding florals were very important to us. We chose Bee Inspired because I could tell their style was a match for ours and they do so many weddings at our venue (District Winery) so I trusted Maya to know exactly what would work well. Maya was very responsive, easy to work with, helped us work within our budget, and was even able to source dahlias early in the season so we could have some of the types of flowers we grow in our garden incorporated into the wedding. The chuppah, bridal bouquet, and bud vases on the tables were all even better than I could have imagined and brought the bright, whimsical vibe we wanted to our venue. I highly recommend Bee Inspired, especially for anyone getting married at District Winery! -

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Maya and her amazing team at Bee Inspired Events for our wedding at District Winery, and we truly couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. From the very beginning, Maya was so easy to work with—responsive, thoughtful, and incredibly organized. After our initial meeting, she created a beautiful vision board based on what we discussed, which really helped us visualize everything coming together.
Our color scheme was light and blue, and Maya absolutely nailed it. The flowers were not only stunning, but also incredibly fresh—they looked beautiful all day and tied the whole look together perfectly. Every floral detail, from the bouquets to the breathtaking floral installations, reflected exactly what we had imagined.
Maya met with us multiple times throughout the planning process to make sure everything aligned with our vision and our budget. Even when we had a few last-minute changes, she was flexible, and accommodating. On the day of the wedding, the team delivered our bouquets and boutonnieres to the hotel hours before the ceremony, which was a huge help and made things run so much smoother.
If you’re getting married at District Winery, we can’t recommend Bee Inspired Events enough. Maya and her team are talented, professional, and a joy to work with. They brought our vision to life better than we could have imagined. -

From start to finish, Maya was incredibly responsive, always getting back to us quickly and answering any questions we had with a smile. What also really appreciated her flexibility when it came to working within our budget. She helped us create the floral arrangements of our dreams within budget without compromising on quality – not something we experienced with other floral vendors we spoke with! And, of course, the flowers themselves were absolutely stunning. Every arrangement was more gorgeous than we could have imagined, and they truly brought the entire venue to life. Bee Inspired was one of our most low-maintenance vendors! After a few meetings to discuss the types of florals we wanted and sending lots of inspiration photos, Maya and the team took care of rentals and floral setup as well as takedown without needing any support from me. Additionally, they had the brilliant idea to reuse our ceremony flowers and placed them in front of the band- it was so gorgeous! Would recommend them again and again. -

the BEST florist you can get!!!!!!
Maya and her team brought tears to my eyes with the most beautiful flowers I have ever seen. When she dropped off the personal flowers to our hotel, I was already blown away, but when I got to see the florals for our wedding, I became so emotional. I could not believe how beyond beautiful our florals were. Our other vendors including our venue commented how spectacular the flowers were and the best they have seen. I gave Maya just a few ideas of what I was looking for including color schemes, and she delivered more than I could have imagined. She was the first florist we spoke with, and I am SO happy we went with her. She is also so sweet and lovely, a genuinely lovely person. If you are debating anything about florals, it is worth every part of your budget. Bee Inspired Events is worth every single penny and more. If I could give Maya 100 stars I would. This is how much I love her and her work. -

Bee inspired made my wedding!
Maya and the whole team at Bee Inspired my dream day better than I could have imagined. She came highly recommended to us from our venue. As soon as I had my first phone call with her, I knew she was going to be our florist. She is creative and meticulous to detail. I told her I trusted her vision since she is the professional and she did not disappoint. When I first saw our alter and my bouquet, I audibly gasped! It was like she read my mind and knew exactly what I wanted. My only regret is that I can't get married all over again and work with Maya even more. I'll use her for all my floral needs in the future. -

Maya was an angel from the first conversation to the day of our wedding. She's one of the hardest working people I've ever met, she's down to earth, kind, and incredibly talented. On the day of our wedding she personally came to the hotel suite to drop off personal flowers so we could finally meet in person. By the time I saw the finished product at our venue, I was completely blown away. It was even better than I'd imagined--she took my vision and elevated it in a way I couldn't have imagined. Everyone was commenting on how breathtaking the florals were at our wedding. It was completely worth it, and I'd hire her again in a heartbeat! -

Maya was outstanding and the flowers at our wedding were beyond stunning. I had a basic idea of the color palette I wanted to go for and her creativity took it above and beyond what I could’ve imagined. Exactly What I Wanted
Bee Inspired did the bouquets, boutonnieres, and table centerpieces for my wedding. Maya was super easy to work with. I had described the types of flowers/colors and a general sense of what I was looking for, and day-of I was absolutely blown away. She completely understood the look I wanted, and the flowers were absolutely stunning. There's nothing I would've changed about them - they were better than I could have imagined. Working with Bee Inspired was truly a breath of fresh air during the wedding planning process. Each conversation they helped ease my nerves and assured me that they would do whatever it takes to make sure everything was exactly as I envisioned for our day, which is HUGE when you're juggling so many wedding planning priorities. The florals were better than I imagined and exactly what I discussed as we worked through even some last minute changes on my end to our proposal. The day-of-coordination was incredible - extremely reliable, always available, and easy to work with. Not to mention, the signage was phenomenal! I cannot say enough about Bee Inspired and the entire team that I worked with. Definitely would recommend again and again! -

Stunning flowers
Bee Inspired Events did an absolute incredible job with our wedding and reception! We originally hired Maya and her team for our August 2020 wedding, but ended up postponing our reception to August 2021. Maya provided a bouquet for both our August 2020 intimate, outdoor wedding ceremony and did the flowers for our August 2021 postponed reception - everything turned out absolutely stunning. I could not believe how beautiful the flowers at both of our events turned out, especially for the price (which is super reasonable compared to other vendors). On top of that, Maya is very responsive, patient and flexible, and figured out how to make my vision into a reality. I truly could not have been happier with Maya and her team and could not recommend her services more! -

Florals and Month-of Coordination
Bee Inspired was absolutely phenomenal in all of the services they provided! We utilized their floral design services as well as month-of-coordination and they made our day flawless! The flowers were breathtaking works of art and the tablescapes and ceremony decor was exactly what we had envisioned. Maya kept our floral budget in mind and came up with many creative suggestions as to how to most utilize our budget for maximum effect. Maya and Vanessa were both extremely responsive (even while Maya was on vacation and traveling internationally, she would still promptly respond to my emails) and Vanessa helped us so much in coordinating details and bringing all of our vendors together. My husband and I are based out of California (with family in the DMV area) and so Vanessa allowed us to ship decor items directly to her for safekeeping leading up to the wedding, and she was always available via email/phone/text despite our time differences. On the day of the wedding there was a 70% chance of afternoon thunderstorms so I was prepared to execute our rain plan, but Vanessa and Maya kept checking the weather until the last minute and noticed that the forecast eventually changed to a 17% chance of rain 3 hours before the start of our ceremony and let me know that we should be able to proceed with our original outdoor set up. They truly had our best interests in mind and their genuine passion and pride in what they do echoed in every aspect of the planning process. I would enthusiastically recommend them to anyone who is wedding or event planning and feel that the Bee Inspired team was amongst the best decisions we made in our wedding planning process! If I were to do everything over again I would still undoubtedly go with Bee Inspired for the beautiful floral design and seamless wedding coordination! -

Maya was amazing to work with for our wedding and she helped put me at ease throughout the process. She listened to exactly what we wanted and built a wedding design that was even better than I dreamed. Her dedication and kind heart were clearly displayed as Bee Inspired provided multiple revisions to our originally planned 160 person wedding and scaled it back to 25 people due to COVID. The Chuppah, bridal party bouquet, reception center pieces were just some of the highlights to her exquisite arrangements. Her team was safe and efficient as well. I even used Bee Inspired to send bouquets to my mother and mother-in-law’s house throughout the year. I hope to continue to use them in the future as well. -

We worked with Maya and Vanessa for our 12/5/20 wedding and we cannot emphasize how happy we are with their services!!! They are both such wonderful people to work with and have excellent and timely communication. We had to move our ceremony location (at the same venue) due to DC COVID-19 regulations and they were so gracious and creative about the changes.
Vanessa was our day-of coordinator and she was so incredibly organized, kind, and experienced. She helped me consider questions and elements of the planning process that I never knew I needed to think about. If you are hesitant about the need to hire a coordinator, trust me...you need one!
Maya is incredibly talented and we were so happy with the floral arrangements, decor, and centerpieces that she designed for us! All of her creations were absolutely gorgeous and so unique! She captured our winter wedding vision so perfectly and made our ceremony and reception so romantic.

An Amazing Artist!
Maya did an amazing job on the flowers for my daughter’s wedding in Washington DC. She nailed all the flower arrangements. We had a telephone conversation once because of the Coronavirus, and she knew exactly what we wanted. She was very easy to work and responded quickly to our emails. The arrangements were phenomenal. Maya is an awesome artist. Definitely recommend her.

What can we say…Maya, Igor, Vanessa and the rest of the Bee Inspired team are PHENOMENAL! We can’t thank them enough for EVERYTHING that they did to make our wedding day beyond spectacular. It was more amazing than anything we ever could have imagined down to the last detail. Planning a wedding during a pandemic is not an easy task and hosting a micro-wedding was way different than what we originally imagined for this year. However, the Bee Inspired team made every detail for our intimate affair effortless, elegant and stunningly beautiful.
What was so amazing you ask??....well I’ll tell you all the lovely details:
- Vanessa was our wedding coordinator and is officially my hero!! A month or so leading up to the wedding, Vanessa helped me with planning all of the important details for our day and for our guests. She kept all of our vendors organized leading up to and throughout the day of our wedding. Vanessa was a god sent also helping my best friend who was officiating our wedding for the first time and even helped her with her script! She also helped coordinate a 150 people virtual Zoom set-up so guests from a far could also join (not an easy task I might add!!). My husband and I literally had to worry about NOTHING but showing up and enjoying our wedding with friends and family…what more can you ask for?
- Maya and Igor… it goes without saying that they are true artists! If you haven’t reviewed the galleries of their work on their Instagram, please treat yourself to the amazing floral designs that they have created for hundreds of events. Their style is modern yet classic, refined and always timeless. Maya and Igor were open to any aesthetic we could dream of and boy did they deliver on the vision. My draw dropped as I walked down the aisle at our ceremony and my husband I couldn’t believe how magical they made our reception venue…it was out a fairy tale. They are top notch an absolute dream to work with!
We highly recommend this team to anyone who has an upcoming wedding or planning a special event!

Dreamy winter wedding florals
From the get go Maya went above and beyond to enthusiastically embrace all of my floral visions, which included incorporating evergreens from my hometown in New Hampshire. Maya was flexible and joyfully added and nixed things to our proposal even when, two weeks before, I decided I wanted to add citrus to my center pieces. Maya went to the moon and back (but really she searched high and low for a California specific citrus in the middle of winter) to make my wedding floral dreams come true. Her correspondence were always full of love and support, she brought me much calm during a stressful planning process. I would recommend Maya, and Bee Inspired, florals to every bride in the DMZ. I will continue to use Maya in both my personal events and professional events. Book her already! -

About 20 days before my wedding my florist decided that they no longer were able to complete the floras for my wedding day. I frantically messaged every florist that I could find and Maya answered quickly! I filled out her questionnaire and gave her my pintrest page and literally within the hour she had a vision board and a proposal waiting for my approval! I'm an anxious, very particular person and to have vendor quickly swoop in and understand my vision quickly calmed my nerves. She gave me a few options for the space and gave me great feedback with what she believed would look the best at the venue (she has worked there before). More beautiful than we pictured!
Maya and her team made our wedding more gorgeous than we could have dreamed! We had a vision of greenery and candles covering our venue, which was a more industrial art gallery. It was hard to picture for us, but when we walked into our venue we were blown away. They took our vision and made it better than we could have even dreamed. Bee Inspired provided flowers for our October wedding at Toolbox, and we would highly recommend them. Maya called us to talk over what we were looking for, and really nailed our tastes and balanced them with the space beautifully. Maya was very helpful in the planning, and very professional throughout.
When we were going over vendors with our day-of coordinator and told her we went with Bee Inspired, our coordinator said "Maya? That's one I don't have to worry about then." I can see why. -

Couldn't have asked for more!
Maya at Bee Inspired Events was one of the first vendors I contacted, and using her was one of the best decisions I made throughout the entire planning process. My only regret was not taking advantage of their planning services as well! Though I don't have a great vocabulary when it comes to design, she took a few photos, and a few descriptions about the feeling I wanted to create, and hit the nail on the head with the bouquet, boutonnieres, corsages, table arrangements and ceremony arch. Do yourself a favor and hire one of the loveliest people I have ever had the pleasure of working with! -

Maya turned a rainy cold day into a magical, warm and cozy wedding with her beautiful decor! She was easy to work with and was able to turn a few online photos that we showed her into a beautiful masterpiece with every single detail that we asked for beautifully displayed. Our wedding was truly magical mostly due to the amazing decor and flowers. Maya's business partner Rhiannon was also an incredible Day of Coordinator who took what could have been a rainy depressing day and turned it into a fun relaxing evening with friends and family. She helped make sure everything was where it was supposed to go and helped deal with any last minute vendor requests. Maya & Rhiannon are truly a dream team and I wouldn't hesitate to work with them again and recommend them to all of our friends and family. -

Amazing work and amazing to work with
If you're getting married in the DMV area, use Maya!!!! Maya was everything you'd want from a wedding vendor (responsive, no hiccups day of, good at listening to what you want, fair pricing) and more. I had a few ideas of what I wanted, and she took them and ran with it. The bouquets were beautiful, and when I walked in the venue, I was blown away by her amazing flowers. I loved that she let me come to her workshop to brainstorm ideas. It was one of my favorite parts of wedding planning. Thank you Maya!!!! -

Going with Maya and Bee Inspired Events was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. She met us at the venue before we signed a contract to see the space, hear what we wanted, and give us her thoughts and vision. After we started making decisions she was unbelievably flexible, nothing was set in stone and we were adjusting numbers and arrangements the entire time to get it perfect. In addition to the flowers Maya helped us with the overall color pallet giving us excellent advise on accent colors (ties, pocket squares, etc...). Then on the day of she went miles above and beyond anything we had hoped for. All of her advise was spot on (not needing hanging arrangements, the use of greenery over flowers in some spaces, the colors, etc), and the floral arrangements were absolutely stunning. From a large arrangement over a fireplace mantle that took over the room, table center pieces that were the perfect beautiful backdrop for the reception room, to small arrangements placed on the guest book table to tie it all together, everything was stunning. -

Beautiful Flowers
Maya was simply amazing to work with. When I first reached out to her I was pretty indecisive on what direction I wanted to go in for the wedding arch, but after numerous emails, pictures, and guidance from Maya I was able to decide on what I truly wanted. I was also able to arrange with Maya that the arch be moved after the ceremony to the reception space. I didn’t even notice her team moving the arch, it was so seamless. The arch was beautiful and more than I could have asked for. I would highly recommend Bee Inspired Events! -

I grew potted plants for my centerpieces/favors, and we didn't have a bridal party-- so I just needed my bouquet, boutonnieres for my groom/dads/siblings, and corsages for our moms/siblings. I wanted all of these to be very simple-- just garden roses and ruscus.
Since we just needed a few simple things, I had originally decided to just DIY and order from a wholesale flower website. However, I was worried about being stressed the night before, so I decided to get a few quotes just to see if the cost savings were worth it.
Turns out the savings weren't worth it at all! Bee Inspired's profit margin compared to the cost of the raw materials was very reasonable. I felt confident that Maya understood exactly what I wanted. It was definitely worth it to pay more to have this task in the hands of a professional. I've never made a boutonniere before!
On the wedding day, Bee Inspired delivered so quickly and promptly that my coordinator didn't even get the chance to say hello. The flowers were beautiful, and we received a lot of compliments. If you're thinking about going DIY, I would definitely suggest reconsidering. -

I used Bee Inspired Events for my wedding flowers and decor as well as for Day of Coordination services. I could not have asked for a better team! Maya was very responsive to my requests and changes and perfectly executed my wedding vision. Gema was my day of coordinator and she was outstanding. Gema was insightful and extremely organized. On the day of my wedding Gema anticipated all needs and made sure the night ran smoothly without me having to worry about anything. Additionally, she was able to re-purpose the ceremony flowers and bridesmaid bouquets so they could be used at the reception. Using Bee Inspired for flowers/decor and DOC was such a great value and I could not be happier with my decision. -

Whimsical Wedding
First class floral! Maya and her team gave me the whimsical wedding of my dreams! It felt like every guest at the wedding asked me who did the flowers. I couldn’t believe this was my real life wedding and not something out of a magazine! Maya created my vision with just a few inspirational photos... it was like she could read my mind with what I wanted! She was so easy to work with, I changed my mind constantly adding and taking this away and switching ideas- maya never missed a beat and she was always available to bounce around new ideas and help me create the wedding of my dreams.
Maya’s team added uplights and accent candles to the arrangements, when the lights went down, everything illuminated so beautifully it was absolutely perfect!!
I also have to mention how fresh the flowers were. My mother drove an arrangement all the way back to Indiana and it looked perfectly new when she got it home. My bouquets also still look new and it is 3 days later.

Love Maya, love her work, loved everything about the flowers she put together for my wedding this past Saturday, June 8, 2019. I know nothing about flowers, so I mostly left everything in Maya's capable hands - I provided her with the color scheme I wanted, as well as a few inspiration photos, and left her to it. And boy am I glad I did - Maya knocked it out of the park. Our bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages were absolutely gorgeous. But really, the crown jewel was our wedding arch - we rented a copper arch from Maya, and she adorned it with the most gorgeous arrangement. Our ceremony photos are going to look spectacular, and we have Maya to thank! Maya also delivered the flowers early on the day of our wedding, helping to accommodate us due to various road closures in the area. We're so happy we found her and booked her for our event, and we'd use her again in a heartbeat. Stop looking! Book them! -

Great choice!
The decision to work with Maya from Bee Inspired was one of the best choices in our wedding planning process. My husband and I didn't have strong opinions on flowers and wanted to work with someone who would bring creativity to the process. Maya and her team helped us craft a vision we were excited about and executed it flawlessly. She was very respectful of our budget and helped us work in more expensive things in a way that had a big impact (think: anemonies in my bouquet vs. in every piece). Our florals, which we initially thought of as a formality, turned out to be something that truly excited us and we will remember for a long time.
Maya also has great recommendations for other vendors and great styling tips and tricks she can offer you. I cannot recommend her team enough. -

I really did not have a vision for the flowers at my wedding, I just wanted them to be organic looking but not messy. Maya took that limited guidance and the result was beautiful! Maya and her team are excellent. I wanted florals that felt modern, not your typical wedding floral arrangements". We were looking for neutral florals, with wine boutonnieres for groomsmen. Due to their great inventory of table decor - we added table design to their services to ensure our vision was brought to life. Boy - was it? The decor was modern, with more greenery than florals - as requested. She is incredibly knowledgable about types of floral and greenery. She presented samples and Pinterest ideas to ensure we were on the same page. She executed our geometric archway perfectly and even created a centerpiece that placed the flowers inside the geometric shape. She is incredibly creative and had great attention to detail. She and her team went above and beyond to ensure our day and vision was executed perfectly. I would highly recommend you to use her for your upcoming wedding. -

She was so easy to work with and was able to articulate my vision of our rehearsal dinner and wedding ceremony and reception flowers when I couldn’t do so clearly. I had really high expectations, and she far surpassed them. My mother in law is extremely picky when it comes to floral arrangements and even she was raving. Maya was so kind and responsive, it was truly an honor to work with her. I would work with her again in a heartbeat and couldn’t recommend her more highly. Even when I had a very low budget for our rehearsal dinner flowers, she was able to create arrangements that were stunning. The picture of the bouquet does not do it justice. But trust me, her work is magical.
