Rob was amazing!

Rob and his team were amazing! Super easy to work with and super nice. Music is really important to us, so working with someone who understood that was so important. Guests had tons of fun with the photobooth! Even though there wasn't much dancing at my wedding (introverts and COVID), his music was great, and just overall so nice. I'm so happy we worked with him!

Wow! Amazing DJ

Wow! We were honored to have Rob DJ our wedding lastnight. We have been to many weddings but I’ll tell you what- we have never seen a better DJ. Rob is terrific. He showed up dressed to the nines and made all of our concerns go away as he kept the crowd dancing all night long. The guy knows how to read a crowd and exactly which music to use for the mood. He is the music man. We would definitely use Rob again and highly, highly recommend him to others. A+++ Thank you

I had the time of my life

He made the night unforgettable. He was the life of the party and played the best music. The photobooth was perfect photo quality was great props were so much fun.

Bringing the party !

Best dj I could have asked for ! Met when ever we needed on our time ! Constantly communicating WHEN IT MATTERS as brides know time can’t be wasted ! Rob really was just amazing energy to my perfect wedding day kept all 230 guest dancing all night laughing smiling ! entertaining ! Really made mine an my husbands night an at a very affordable price. Also as my husband and I boarded the plane for our honey moon , rob went above an beyond an sent us HIS OWN HIGHLIGHT VIDEO ! this video included clips friends an the videographer didn’t even get to capture it was lovely surprise ! To mention surprises rob also put a slide show to together of my husband an I I couldn’t imagine this was easy considering he had 10 years of pics on FB . Don’t even get my goin on the bak drop he made for my photo booth ! We had our downtown sky line with our names attached at 2 street signs ! I knew rob was the dj when we met him a year an a half in advance ! Take a min to get a coffee with this guy you won’t regret it ! Also when we got back from our honey moon he made all our guest photo booth pics available to us on Facebook ! Great guy great dj great service ! I hope to get to use rob again just not for another wedding ahahaha but hopefully you all do !

Awesome DJ!

We hired Rob when our original DJ double booked us and had to cancel. We definitely lucked out, Rob was awesome! Super friendly, definitely knows his stuff. Wasn't afraid to suggest stuff and listened to what we wanted. The dance floor was going all night, with both younger and older people! Would definitely hire him for another function. We did hire him for the photobooth as well, and that was a little less ideal - we never ended up getting an album of the pictures, just digital copies. The iPad was also set up so every picture had the ceiling and walls and other stuff around the edges, which made them look a little less nice. Overall, awesome experience.

Wow! Where to begin, Rob did such an amazing job, his attention to detail, responsiveness and great choice of music kept the dance floor full all night. With lighting, photo booth and many more little touches it made my wedding day amazing! Look no further, he is the best!

It is hard to even find words to describe how fantastic Rob was! Right from our first meeting my husband and I knew he would be the best fit for us and for the vibe we wanted at our wedding. He was organized, friendly, professional, punctual and helped us stay calm when we were stressed during the planning process. He thought of everything and made us feel like we were in good hands, and we were! He was right there to answer any questions we had and had no problem making last minute changes. We booked him for the full wedding package, everything except officiant services because we had a family member officiate. The music he played at the ceremony flowed well, and he absolutely rocked the house at the reception. He kept our wishes in mind with the music style but also read the crowd. If they weren’t dancing, he switched it up immediately to get the crowd going! The photo booth was awesome! He had our backdrop custom designed and the props were so fun! We were so excited to get our photo book back after the wedding. It was a hit, and so was Rob! We highly recommend him to everyone!!! We will never go anywhere else for our future Dj/photobooth needs!

I can not say thanks enough! Rob made our wedding as easy smooth and simple as possible. We gave him total control to do as he pleased for the wedding and all we can say is wow! Rob was our officiant, dj, provided uplighting and our red carpet photo booth! The only song we had planned was our first dances besides that rob was in full control.... he accommodated music types for a "general audiance". Which is exactly what we wanted! he also surprised us with a slideshow of our Facebook photos, which was a touching addition to everything ! His assistant at the photo booth did an amazing job as well , I can't say enough good things !!!! We have no regrets on our decision ! THANK YOU! -Tiffany and David

Rob from Beauty and the Beats was awesome! He is very down to earth and easy to talk to. Any time I randomly thought of something I would send him a quick Facebook message and usually have a response within minutes. He is very accommodating and truly cares about making your wedding run perfectly. We had the Photo Booth, DJ, and officiant services. He even surprised us by bringing a slideshow of our Facebook pictures that we didn't know we were going to have. We received so many compliments about the variety of music that was played as well, it was great for all ages of guests. I would highly recommend Beauty and the Beats Entertainment for your wedding or other event!

Rob was great to work with; met with us several times to answer questions and plan our day. Rob was our officiant as well and he did a great job with our ceremony. He was professional and kept the dance floor packed all night. At one point, my MOH noticed he started a song and the dance floor cleared out so he immediately faded it out to a new song that brought everyone back! I definitely recommend Rob!

DJ Rob was amazing! He was very personable and easy to work with! I met him at my cousins wedding last summer and knew that night we wanted to book him for our wedding. Beauty and the Beats is affordable and works to capture everything you want! He provided song recommendations when I needed them and kept people on the dance floor straight through until the end of the wedding! Rob also surprised us with a slideshow of pictures of my husband and I throughout our ten years of dating that he played during the cocktail and dinner hours, it was such a nice and sweet surprise that we really appreciated! Just a little something extra to make it all the better! He also played some music videos throughout the night. We have received so many compliments about how great the music was at our wedding! I would highly recommend booking Beauty and the Beats Entertainment!

Rob was a big part of our wedding being the officiant, dj, also uplighting and photobooth. But he made everything so easy and was always available if I needed any help or suggestions. He was early to the wedding which was during an unexpected ice storm and over an hr away from his house. I couldn't say better things about him except you'd be silly not to hire him!!

Dj Rob was incredible. He meet with me and my now husband a few times to go over what we wanted at our wedding, as well as keeping in touch on facebook and emails. He was always quick to respond when I had questions. He kept the crowd on the dance floor thw whole night and made it an amazing party. I would recommend him to any of my friends and family

DJ Rob is awesome! He was so easy to work with throughout the entire process, we even changed our first dance song a week before the wedding and it was not a problem at all. He made the night run smoothly and everyone had a great time. Our guests were impressed with the mix of different music he played for us and they partied all night long!

DJ Rob is the best!! He was the DJ for my wedding a few weeks ago and we have not a single bad thing to say... we've heard so many compliments from our guests that the DJ kept a dance party going all night (which was exactly what we wanted!) he played such a good mix of dance songs so guests of all ages stayed on the dance floor the whole time. We have been looking forward to having Rob as our DJ since we booked him... he is organized, professional, flexible and FUN. You can tell he really cares about all of his clients. I highly recommend him for anyone looking to have a fun event!

Advice? Book this guy. He's so helpful, and very organized and transparent throughout the entire process. This is reassuring four couple who is planning twenty different things, as this was easily the smoothest piece of our wedding planning. Rob is professional, shows up early to set up, he even provided the music for our ceremony and made that much more special. We cannot say enough great things about him. Please book him.

Rob was really great! The games were fun and the equipment (backlighting, big screen, extra speakers, etc) made my entire venue pop! He gave me a great deal and very professional.

Dj rob was amazing from the moment me and my wife met him. He was able to work with us and was very helpful and friendly and always was. A message away for any questions. To help are day go as smooth as it could. He also was very fun at the get go and the day of are wedding he qas amazing and rocked are wedding and had everyone up and dancing and interacting with. Rob helped us with so many things, was patient and flexible with any changes up until the very last minute, even an hour before the wedding! He worked with us to make sure everything was correct, sending us final lists and set ups to confirm until everything looked perfect.
He kept the venue upbeat and dancing, everyone was getting quite the workout from being on the dance floor nonstop!

I will always recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ, and will go to no one else for any upcoming events!

My husband and I hired DJ Big Daddy Rob to DJ our October 2014 wedding and we were THRILLED with his service. From our initial consultation, I knew Rob was going to do a fantastic job because he really listened to our entire vision and did a great job of making suggestions of how to incorporate the right music throughout the night to compliment the vibe we were after. Rob has extensive DJ experience and really knows how to read a crowd – I told him prior to the wedding that it was really important to me that people were up and dancing as soon as possible and as much as possible throughout the night and Rob delivered – he knew exactly what to play and when to play it to get everyone on that dance floor!! We also utilized Rob’s lighting services and were very pleased with the results – it’s great knowing that you can hire one vendor to provide it all - overall I can’t say enough about how satisfied I was with all of Rob’s services – he is reliable, thoughtful and truly loves his trade – in other words, he’s is the real deal – you won’t be disappointed if you hire him to DJ your wedding or next event!!

Rob was welcoming, reassuring and easy to work with. He had a lot of great options and innovative ideas that brought things for the wedding to a new level. He was really fun for the quests without taking over. Everything went smoothly and ontime. With Beauty and the Beats Entertainment it's class from beginning to end! Rob is amazing and fun to work with, he makes the experience personal and to your liking. You can tell he loves his job so much because of the effort and passion he has for his work. He assisted with getting us an amazing Photo Booth and provided beautiful uplighting for our reception! From the start to the end of the reception he had everyone on the dance floor and the party was on. There is no one else who could have done the job he did and we are so happy to have had him share our night!!

We hired DJ Rob for our wedding in July and he was great! We got so many compliments on the variety of music, his professionalism, and his overall expertise. He was extremely accommodating with requests for music and provided us with a lot of suggestions when we needed help with certain song selections. He was also available as backup during the ceremony, so in case our ceremony musician or anyone else fell through, it was helpful to know that he was there just in case. The prices were very reasonable and we included uplighting which was very well done and looked awesome in the pictures. We would definitely recommend DJ Rob to anyone who needs DJ services!

I’ve used DJ Rob for the past 2 years for my Zumba events and he is awesome!! Both my events were fundraisers for breast cancer awareness and he went above and beyond what I had expected. He made the room look fantastic with pink lighting and to top it off the photo booth and red carpet were a huge hit for the guests. He’s a pleasure to work with and always engages the crowd. He came well prepared and got all the equipment set up with plenty of time to spare. He is well versed in all types of music and prior to the start of my fundraiser he played relevant Latin/Zumba inspired songs without me having to give him any songs names!! You can tell he has been doing this for years!

DJ Big Daddy Rob dj'd our wedding. We were as high maintainance as they come but he handled us professionally and made the whole planning process fun!! He's a natural mc, a blast with the mic and he knows how to read a crowd!!

Absolutely would I recommend, and I have and they booked with him. He has so much excitement and enthusiasm when talking about his work. Extremely talented and creative, and most importantly very professional. If we needed to hire a DJ again it would be him. Everyone commented on the selection s of music. There was something for everyone! We wanted the best and we got him. One thing that he did was guest were able to email picture and they would go up on the screen. He is very flexible and most importantly he answers your call in a timely manner and emails or a text. You can always reach him. If you want to have people talking about what a great time they had, then he is your man! Just about everyone stayed till the very end. The price is reasonable!!!

DeeJay BIG DADDY!!! The best DJ service around. We used him at our wedding and he did not disappoint! He was early and very professional. He had done everything we asked and more. There aren't enough words for how amazing Rob was as the dj at our wedding! My family and friends have yet to stop talking about the music selection how upbeat his personality was and how he kept the party going. Rob was a pleasure to work with up until the final hours of the wedding when he was there for any silly question concern or music change I had. The day of our event here I've been a professional timely manner and occupied my guests while I arrived. He was a pure joy to have and has made our wedding one that few will forget! We are not your typical Romeo and Juliet couple and he empressed us and really let who we were shine! I will continue to recommend and use him throughout our life's journey. DJ Big Daddy Rob provided the music and MC'd my daughter's wedding. The guests are still raving about him. He had the dance floor full and rockin' all night!! Went above and beyond our expectations. Rob did a great job with my wedding shower. He was professional, prepared, and punctual. He kept the party going and the guests engaged. Many of the guests let me know the DJ did an excellent job. If I had not already booked a different DJ for my actual wedding, I would have loved to have Rob do it. He kept the party going and everyone dancing with his lights and video show. Well done, everyone was more than happy!

Rob did an amazing job at our wedding. We had a very interesting mix of guests in terms of taste in music, personalities, etc. Somehow, he was able to find the right mix and flow of music to get the dance floor filled - and keep it that way. We had an amazing reception, and that's largely thanks to the way Rob handled the event.

So glad we went with Beauty & the Beats. The price fit our budget really well, but more importantly, we got a fantastic experience.

Dj Rob was our one and only choice for dj on our special day; having both seen his work first hand and through recommendations from couples who had used him before. Rob made us feel comfortable and trusting with his abilities as a wedding dj from the moment we made the first call. Rob was not only our dj, he was our wedding officiant. He took the time to research blessings, poems and words to observe our traditions and background; being Irish he found us the most beautiful Irish blessing and poem. He welcomed us into his home to revise and practise the whole ceremony. Our day was beautiful. Rob had listened to our requests and gotten to know us in the few meetings that we had and our wedding day was beautiful. DJ robs professionalism, dedication, and unique ability to get the crowd pumped up truly makes him the most valuable and master of wedding ceremonies. We will truly always thank Rob for his dedication to making our day extra special. He is absolutely fantastic at what he does, most likely because he is observable passionate about what he does.

In terms of flexibility, Rob was generally good. We had to travel to meet him, which was cumbersome, but we understood. His DJing itself was fine. He did forget a special entertainment piece that was supposed to be performed by an attendee. However, we paid for uplighting, and were very disappointed. The uplights were small and barely noticeable, except when they were in the way of our guests. We also got the custom lighting monogram which was EMBARRASSING. It was tiny and fixed on a corner of the dance floor, which was not at all what we were told to expect. I wish we hadn't done it.

However, the most disappointing aspect was the photo booth. We got the backdrop to keep (but really...it's not like we will ever have a use for it), but the setup itself was bad. Rob's "assistant" is an underage kid who is definitely not prepared to work weddings. He was rumpled and not professional or polite. We spend over a hundred dollars on a photo guest book, special pens, paper, signs, etc., because the photo booth was supposed to be our guest book and NONE of it was placed properly or used. We got the pictures all thrown into one sheet protector. We also bought (expensive) decorations for the photo booth area, and this assistant just shoved them to the side and didn't bring them back into the area. Additionally, the photo quality from this photo booth is terrible. I really wish I had not been so frugal and spent a bit more money in this area.

I would recommend Rob as a DJ, especially if you're looking to book on a budget, but I would take the other services elsewhere.
