My Wedding in the Rain!
My wedding did not go according to plan - it rained and hailed during my ceremony…. But my hair and makeup stayed the whole time! Not to mention, getting ready was easy and calming the entire morning. My mom came late and Rachelle helped do her makeup… which was beyond kind. Oksana was flexible and the my hair stayed put! Would work with these gals again and again.

Highly recommend for hair and makeup
Beauty on Location were awesome to work with for my wedding day. I rarely wear makeup and "doing my hair" means putting it up in a pony tail, so as you can imagine having my hair and makeup done was a little anxiety-provoking. Jamie and Stephanie were my hair and makeup artists and they were so friendly and made me feel very comfortable. After my trial I was still a little nervous about my hair and makeup for my wedding day, but they accepted my feedback and requests with open arms and truly made me look and feel beautiful on the day of. All of my friends/family members who got their makeup done also loved their work. Danielle, who was my main point of contact throughout the planning process, was awesome. She was very responsive and proactive in her communication, and answered all of my questions. I would highly recommend working with BOL for your hair and makeup needs!

I had the best experience with Rachelle at Beauty on Location. I got married in CO but live in STL so everything was done remote. I didn’t do a trial and Rachelle was able to take my inspo and create a beautiful natural look for my wedding day!! Not to mentioned she nailed the hair! I was thoroughly impressed! Rachelle and Iryna did an absolutely amazing job on my wedding hair and makeup, I could not have been happier with how everything turned out. They were both so flexible and helpful with me while I was trying to figure out what I wanted my hair and makeup to look like. All of my bridesmaids raved about what a great job they did, on such a windy day no one had a hair out of place at all, and one of my bridesmaids even shared with me that she liked her hair better than her hair on her own wedding day!

Absolutely Worth It!
They provide service to San Francisco and the Bay Area! We had 4 artists come to my Bridal suite the morning of the wedding for hair and makeup for a total of 8 bridesmaids, 2 flower girls, my mom, and me. They are very friendly and professional. We started at 7:30am and were done by 1:10pm with touch-ups. Haley had a schedule almost a month in advance and worked with me to accommodate certain time preferences.
I was impressed with the professionalism and with how stunning the girls looked after their hair and makeup was done. They worked with each girl individually. My hair looked amazing and the makeup was superb. Really happy with the service!
In case I have another big event, I would not hesitate to reach out to them.

I loved working with BOL for my beauty services on the day of the wedding. They are so friendly and amazing at what they do. Me and my bridesmaids felt so beautiful on the day of the wedding. They are super communicative and will make sure you look exactly how you want on your wedding day. They take feedback well and will double-check with you throughout the process that you like your hair/makeup. Definitely do a hair and makeup trial! It was so nice to meet with my hair stylist and makeup artist ahead of time.

Overall such a good experience! I needed to book a makeup vendor that could accommodate a large bridal party and Beauty on Location did just that! I was able to book 2 artists for all 11 people needing makeup. They were super prompt and attentive, arrived on time, had a schedule/timeline for us, and we were ahead of schedule on the wedding day!! My makeup looked amazing, I couldn’t have asked for better.

June Wedding 2023
This past June I had my wedding where not only myself but 11 bridesmaids, 2 mothers, and two flower girls needed to have makeup done. Not only did beauty on location do a great job but they made the wedding planning and wedding day seamless. I cannot recommend them enough. They hire true professionals who work on the fly while acknowledging and perfecting the image you are looking for. I was so stressed about the look I wanted over the course of two years of planning. Beauty on location was accommodating to my restlessness and made both of my trials worth while in order to help me decide on my look. Even with a large bridal party I felt at ease knowing they were the ones in charge of my look.

Had my wife beaming with confidence!
BOL did such a fantastic job on my wife, my mother-in-law and my step-daughter on my wedding day. They got to spend the morning being pampered and done up together and once they were done, you could just see the confidence radiating off of them. BOL was communicative and able to create the perfect look for my wife. Definitely will hire them again if the need ever arises!

I can't say enough how great of an experience I had with BOL Studio from Day 1 through my wedding day! Our artists were Jamie, Audrey and Brandy. Jamie was my lead artist and beyond just her pure talent, she was an absolute pleasure to work with. I did one hair trial and two make-up trials as I wasn't sure what look I was going for at the time. Jamie listened to every little critique and ultimately made my wedding day vision come to life! I am SO impressed with how my hair and makeup came out the day of. I really couldn't imagine any better result! She created such a stunning and romantic look!
Also, I want to give a huge shout out to Audrey and Brandy who took care of many of my bridesmaids and some other friends and family. ALL of my bridesmaids (many of whom have had some not so good experiences with wedding H&M in the past) were SO happy with their experience with BOL!
Overall, BOL provides a top notch service. They gave me and my ladies the perfect combo of naturalness and glam, which was everything I was hoping for and more! Our services also lasted well through the whole day despite being 11,000 FT on a mountaintop on a windy day!
I also wanted to give a HUGE shout out to Danielle at BOL who was my point of contact through this whole process. She was super kind, communicative and helpful!!

We had Stephanie for hair and Bella for make up and they were INCREDIBLE. I've never seen someone create such perfect hair on bridesmaids as quickly as Stephanie- she nailed it the very first time with just one picture, for all the bridesmaids, and was a joy to hang out with also. Bella was the sweetest, best listener, and made sure everyone felt beautiful, and was very open to edits and suggestions. She nailed everyone's make up and everyone looked fabulous! I went through SO many vendors trying to find the best hair and make up service, and this is it!!!

I would highly recommend using Beauty on Location Studios for your hair and makeup for any event! I used their services for our wedding, and they did a great job. We had Brooke for makeup and Cristela for hair, and they were wonderful! They were sweet, professional, and were able to match everyone’s vision. They did hair and makeup for me, my 4 bridesmaids, my mom, and my mother-in-law. All 7 of us were very happy with how both came out! We also received compliments from other family members on how nicely our hair was styled and how natural our makeup looked. Communicating with Danielle through the online portal about scheduling, payment, etc. was also so easy! We could not have asked for a better hair and makeup team!

Brooke Saved My Wedding!
Beauty On Location was a godsend. At the last minute (literally the week of my wedding), I needed to find a new makeup artist. Luckily I was having a weekday wedding and not a large bridal party, but I was still skeptical I would be able to find anything that quickly.
Brooke Jones was our makeup artist. She was professional, fun, respectful, and did beautiful work. I am not a big makeup person, so I struggled to communicate what I wanted, but she completely understood after I showed her just a few photos. She helped me make decisions by giving her input and explaining how things would look different. I am so happy with the way my look turned out and I felt like a million bucks!

I have to say, I had such an amazing experience with Beauty on Location for my HMUA!! I had Adriana as my personal stylist and she was AMAZING! We had two separate trials at the salon downtown (which by the way were a breeze to schedule, shout out to Vanessa!).
Adriana was patient with me throughout the entire process and ultimately she did the most perfect hair and makeup for me. Seriously, she nailed it. I felt so beautiful and even with some tears during the ceremony, I still looked absolutely gorgeous at the end of the night! We also had Destiny and Lena come to our house on the day to do hair and makeup for the bridal party and our mothers. Everyone absolutely LOVED their hair and makeup which was such a relief!! And really, everyone looked so beautiful!
In the end, I am very satisfied with the HMU services from BOL on my wedding day! THANK YOU BOL Team!

Raquel came to the location we were getting ready at for our wedding and did a fabulous job for myself, my sister in law, my sister, mother in law and mother. We stayed on time, she was a pleasure to talk to and made everyone feel comfortable. Everyone looked fantastic when she was done and felt great. I got compliments on my eye makeup all night long! Liz Gonzalez, owner of Beauty on Location studio, did such a fabulous trial for me and my girls on my wedding day 9/1/2019. Liz was a joy to work with. Her calm demeanor and sweet style were a perfect presence on my wedding day. She takes her craft seriously, but is so skilled, talented, and gifted with hair & makeup! I felt at ease with her during my trial, and she made some changes for my wedding day based on feedback on how my makeup felt for the rest of the day after my trial. Makeup & hair were beautiful! But mostly Liz is just amazing and you should hire her and her team for your wedding in Colorado!

Valerie was absolutely wonderful! She was very responsive to my many questions, and my mom and I had a blast at our hair trials with her. On the day of the wedding, she was right on time, very calm, and even got us all done ahead of schedule - and we all looked fantastic!! The service was absolutely wonderful. They did my bridesmaids’ and my hair and makeup for my wedding. They were so patient and helpful, despite me changing my mind and having Logan redo my makeup. They made us feel so confident, did things exactly as we asked, and were very fun to work with!

Amazing wedding makeup!
We hired Liz and her Beauty on Location team for hair and makeup services for my wedding. I was a bit nervous because I wasn't able to do a makeup trial with Liz before my wedding (planning long-distance), and I didn't want a heavy makeup look -- but Liz did an absolutely amazing job! She listened to what I was wanting and made it a reality. I felt like I looked like myself on my wedding day, but just a best version of myself. She attained that balance of making me look like I had makeup on, but still looking like myself. Liz was also a pleasure to work with and took the time to talk with me via phone before my wedding, since we weren't able to meet in person. I would highly recommend Liz and her team!

I cannot say enough about the amazing work of Liz and Beauty on Location! As a very self conscious bride, looking my best on my wedding day caused me so much anxiety. I'm so pleased with BOL's services. I had Raquel do both my hair and makeup for the day of my elopement. It was stressful trying to find someone as I live out of state but when I found BOL I knew they would do a great job. Raquel had no problem showing up very early in the morning since we were doing a sunrise hike. She listened to what I wanted and I couldn't have been happier.

Linda and her assistant Elena did a beautiful hair and makeup job on myself and my bridesmaids! They came on location at our hotel in Gilroy and set up in our large hotel room that we had reserved for bridal prep. I got a lot of compliments from the guests, and also from my bridesmaids who said Linda and Elena were clearly experts at their craft and very professional. I didn't opt to do a dry-run, but Linda was able to create exactly what I wanted from a few pinterest pictures I sent to her. Everyone loved how their hair and makeup turned out, and we couldn't be happier with the results!

I had a short time to plan my wedding in Denver and did not do a trial run since I was coming from New York. Seeing Liz's hair creations on the internet, I had absolutely no concerns that she would do an amazing job! She was super flexible, helpful and so easy to work with. She and her partner came over to the house to do our hair and make-up and the results were fabulous!!! My mother, who is super particular and usually ends up redoing her own hair and make-up after getting it done, did not change a single thing! My sister loved her and my hair so much that she contacted Liz to do her hair and make-up for her wedding that took place a few months later. I have worked with both companies for multiple occasions and am more impressed each time I leave. The quality and variety of services and price points surpass any other company around. All of the girls are so talented and friendly. It was super convenient to do my engagement photo and hair/makeup trial at their studio in Downtown Denver, and the day of the girls were able to travel to the hotel. I could not believe how beautiful my wedding hair and makeup turned out, it was better than the trial and anything I could've imagined!! All of my bridesmaids and family who got their hair and makeup done felt so beautiful and got so many compliments that day! I have never seen my mom look more beautiful than she did that day. They did my bridesmaids, my groom (which I recommend for future couples - just a light touch up goes a long way), me, and even fixed the makeup of my mom and officiant (which the other company that they had used had really done a poor job with). I was married in April 2017 and had the pleasure of working with Liz (and her staff) for several events leading up to our wedding and the wedding itself. I used Beauty on Location's sister studio, L Style Bar, for hair and makeup for our engagement photos (Liz fit me in last minute and early on a Sunday morning due to a rain-induced schedule change for our photos!), as well as hair and makeup for my mom and I the morning of my bridal shower. I had several hair and makeup trials with Liz due to my hair not behaving, her work at the trials was flawless! Liz was always very attentive to my calls, emails, and texts and was generous with her time during my trials. I loved how I looked in our engagement photos and my mom and I felt so beautiful at my shower. Liz, with Beauty on Location, came to my suite at the Halcyon the morning of our wedding and made me feel gorgeous. Her staff did my mom's hair and makeup and it was flawless as well. My hair and makeup held all night, even through some snowy spring outdoor photos. Liz is a kind soul and fun to be around. Thank you for everything!

We had 13 people needing services (both hair and makeup) and she was able to get many people to cover it all, with ease. Everything went absolutely flawless. Everyone looked beautiful. It was just so incredibly easy to work with her and I had no issues whatsoever. On top of that, Liz did my hair and makeup and I cannot tell you how pleased I was! It was beautiful, perfect, and everything I wanted. I didn't have to ask to change a single thing. She also brought me a variety of hair pins to purchase on that day, which is above and beyond. I was beyond excited to be able to book with Beauty on Location for my wedding day! During the trial and first meeting Valerie, we hit it off right away! She's absolutely amazing and so fun and relaxing to work with! During the trial, I loved what she did, I was so excited for the day to come! I had last minute concerns on the day of and wanted to go a little lighter on the makeup and she had no problem with it, and it was stunning. They got my bridesmaids all ready and my mother as well, then me. Everyone looked so gorgeous. Most people don't want to take off their dress after their wedding day, I didn't want to take my makeup off and brush my hair! Liz and Natalie did an AMAZING job. They traveled to Vail, CO and were so patient and efficient with the four in my bridal party. I provided just two inspiration photos and they did their magic. The trial was also top notch at Liz's home. I would definitely recommend and use again for hair and makeup artists.

I was so thankful I found this company. They were able to accommodate my bridesmaids, myself and MOG & MOB and be able to come to the venue instead of us going to them for a reasonable price. Liana does GREAT bridal make-up and she is so sweet and makes you feel beautiful and special.
Liz is a the owner of the company and she is great. There was a small problem I had with communicating with the initial stylist assigned to me. She offered to do my hair herself and was absolutely understanding, professional and provided great customer service. I didn't end up getting my hair done by them but all my bridesmaid and mothers did-Their hair and make-up was gorgeous and perfectly complimented the features as well as the theme and feel of my wedding.
I was really happy with Beauty On Location. I HIGHLY recommend Liana so be sure to request her specifically.

Liz knew exactly how to go about doing a natural look that made me feel flawless. I couldn't have been happier with the end result! We just got our pictures back and I am so glad that I decided to have my makeup done instead of doing it myself. Liz also did a beautiful updo that looked very soft and elegant, but stood up to the windy ceremony and looked perfect all night long! She is such a sweet person and a joy to work with. Liz and her team did a wonderful job with my entire wedding party, mother of the bride and mother of the groom the day of. It was so nice to have them come to us in our hotel room so we could get ready without having to travel. Her team is so wonderful to work with - super professional, but a lot of fun to have around. Everyone looked flawless and our hair and makeup lasted through a LOT of dancing. My stylist, Kim, was wonderful and made me look natural, but like a better version of myself. Liz was AMAZING to work with! She did my hair and makeup for my wedding in Winter Park and I also did a trial with her. She was SO committed to making sure I LOVED everything she did. I gave very little direction on what I wanted her to do and she nailed it on the first try. On the day of my wedding, I was still not exactly sure how I wanted my hair pulled back and that morning she tried out a few different ways to pull back my hair to make sure she got it the exact way I wanted it. She was amazing and brought hair pin options for me to choose from. She is so sweet, down to earth and kind. I could not have imagined working with anyone else. I also hired two assistants to do my bridesmaids and mothers hair and makeup and everyone was SO happy and pleased. She was so flexible with her trial time with me, her communication was amazing (always got back to me and was also so willing to help in her emails) and her and her team could not have been more professional and kind. I'm so glad I chose her, I planned my wedding from out of state and was not able to do a trial run with my hair and makeup so I booked Liz based on great reviews I had read. I was happy right away with the hair and makeup she did for me, my curls and makeup even lasted through the night, a good 7 hours later! She came out to our venue and did my hair and my bridesmaids, which made the wedding day fun and relaxing instead of hectic. She was friendly and great to work with, offering suggestions when we weren't sure what to do. She was very flexible, as I didn't have an exact timeline nailed down, and made sure everyone was ready on time, and was even able to add in some extra people unplanned. I would definitely recommend booking Liz for your big day!

These ladies are the best! Liz was so patient with me while I came to several trials trying to figure out if I wanted my hair up or down, with extensions or without, etc. On wedding day, they arrived on time and were able to keep everything flowing smoothly time-wise. We ended up being done early which amazing that we didn't have to rush (I've been in weddings where hair & makeup ran over and it's chaos). My hair looked amazing!! It held up in the altitude and during a rainy ceremony which is a miracle for me! My airbrush and eyelashes made me feel so beautiful. I wish I could have Liz come do my hair & makeup everyday. Liz did the hair and makeup for my 5 bridesmaids, flower girl and me at my wedding in Beaver Creek. She did a phenomenal job on all of us, even though I changed the style from my trial at the last minute! I was worried about my hair falling and my makeup not looking good 10+ hours later in the middle of reception, but it still looked like it was just done! I could not have been happier.

Liz is incredibly talented! So many of my friends had to hire separate hair and makeup stylists but since Liz does it all, she made the process so calming and comfortable, it was amazing! The hair and makeup trial was identical to what she did on my wedding day and I felt beautiful all night long! I just can’t say enough good things about Liz. Her and her team did hair and makeup on my bridesmaids, my mother, and me on the day of my wedding. I was the most beautiful that I have ever been in my entire life all because of her! And everyone in my bridal party looked like they belonged on the runway. They didn’t just do good work (like you would expect for prom or other special events). These girls (especially Liz) performed professional hair and makeup services unlike any I have ever seen in real life. Absolutely beautiful! I received compliments unlike I would have ever expected, even as the bride.
And what I loved about Liz in particular was her amazing versatility! I had a few different ideas for hair and makeup in mind that I wanted Liz to try on me leading up to the wedding. I wanted to see an edgy look, a more glamorous look, and a natural look. Each look that she did looked completely different from the other but outstanding in it’s own respect. She is so talented, and can make you look any way that you want. She doesn’t just have one “bridal” look that she creates for everyone.
The day of the wedding couldn’t have gone more smoothly. I even added an extra hair and makeup the morning of the wedding that she accommodated without any problem at all! She was timely, efficient, and brilliant. And so was each girl on her team that she brought with her.
I should also mention how incredibly reliable she is. About 6 months out from my wedding, she found out that her husband would be graduating at the same time that she was scheduled to do wedding hair and makeup for me. She easily could have canceled and or referred me to one of the girls on her team, but she did neither. She assured me again and again that I was the top priority to her and that she would never cancel on one of her brides.

I got married in May 2014, and am SO happy I booked Liz for my wedding in the Santa Cruz mountains. I believe she works primarily in Colorado now, but also comes back to the Bay Area occasionally to do weddings out here. After finding her online, I was so glad she was able to make it out for my May wedding, and she did a trial for me around the holidays when in California visiting family.
She did me and my 5 bridesmaids' hair and makeup. She brought along one assistant for hair and one for makeup. Both were great, especially the woman helping with makeup (I can't remember their names). Liz is fantastic and does such amazing work. After showing her a few pictures, she helped create a wedding day look that wasn't too overdone and matched perfectly with my outdoor rustic wedding. She is so kind and easy to work with, and easy to communicate with via email. Prices were reasonable compared to others I had looked at, and she comes on site which is great.

Liz was an exceptional hair and make up artist. I live in Palo Alto and my wedding was in Estes Park. She was able to accommodate me and do my hair/make up test in Palo Alto. She was timely and professional. She listened to my needs as a client because that I wanted to look more natural on my wedding day. She brought an assistant who was just as professional with her for the big day to make sure all my bridesmaids were covered. Not only that, Liz is warm and friendly and made me feel relaxed while getting ready for my wedding. I couldn't recommend her enough!!

I had "wedding nightmares" about my hair and makeup until I found Liz - then they disappeared.
Liz was very responsive to my emails prior to our first meeting. She worked with my changes as to the number of girls who would get their hair/makeup done and responded very quickly to ease my stress. In addition, she was able to accommodate 12 ladies!
When we met for my hair and makeup trial, I explained to her that I had really, really thick hair that gave me headaches when it was up. I told her that I wanted an up-do but I did not want to feel my hair all night - or the bobby pins. She took the pictures I showed her of how I wanted my hair and created a masterpiece. One, it was JUST how I wanted. Second, it was gorgeous. And, I could not feel my hair or the bobby pins at all. In addition, my makeup was beyond beautiful. When I had some suggestions to change the top of my up-do, she worked with me until it was perfect.
On the day of the wedding, her and two assistants came to do the 12 ladies who wanted their hair and/or makeup done. It was early - but they were ready to work! Everyone's makeup and hair turned out beautiful. Every single one was beyond satisfied with the outcome.
Although I was nervous and stressed the day of, Liz was able to keep me calm and allow me to have breaks when needed (thick hair takes a loooong time for the up-do I wanted). And when I saw the final result, I was blown away - as was my wedding party. My hair and makeup lasted ALL night and I love looking at pictures of how amazing my hair and makeup was.

Let me start by saying that I was feeling really I'll the day of my wedding--I was in bad shape. Liz was amazingly understanding and did an really wonderful job on my hair/makeup. When I saw myself in the mirror I was blown away! And it really helped me feel a lot better too. She also stayed much later than originally planned to do final touch ups once I put my dress on, which was much appreciated! The final look was so natural and classy--it was like seeing the best version of myself! Many guests also commented on what a unique/beautiful style the hair was as well. I highly recommend her!

Liz with Beauty on Location by Liz was by far one of the very best vendors that I worked with for my wedding! She has amazing customer service and is very timely with follow-up. She went with the flow and made sure that I was happy with my hair and make-up in pre-wedding trials. I told her I felt like I was being high maintenance in a trial and she assured me that it's my day and that she wanted it to be perfect. For the actual day of my wedding she coordinated two other hair and make-up stylists to be with her to help do bridesmaids, mothers, sisters, etc. They both were incredible also! One of my bridesmaids is getting married in 2015 and she is already getting Liz booked to do her hair and make-up. I received compliments on how beautiful everyone looked at the wedding and everyone that had hair and make-up done loved how it turned out also! It's not easy to get a 5 star rating from me, so I hope this review let's anyone interested in Liz now how lucky and happy you would be to work with her! She was great at listening to feel of our wedding and the inspiration for my look on the big day. We were even able to fit in a trial run even though I was only in town three days before the wedding. The trial allowed us to make adjustments and prefect the look. This made the big day so simple and stress free.

Liz is unbelievably good at her job! She made me so gorgeous and was so kind and easy going. I probably changed my mind about my hairstyle 3 different times and each time she was patient and excited. She traveled up to Estes Park to do hair and makeup for myself, my mom, my 2 sisters, and my 3 bridesmaids. Everyone looked fantastic! She is so easy to work with up to and on the day of the wedding. And most importantly, she does amazing work. Hair and makeup were wonderful and I was so happy with the finished product.
She also is great at understanding the 'look' you want, and it's especially easy if you have a picture to reference. The makeup and hair were understated, but still pretty and feminine.
Once I had my trial run with Liz, hair and makeup were one of the only things I didn't need to worry about leading up to the wedding because I knew Liz was going to do an amazing job!!!

I don't even know where to start. If I could rate Liz and her company a 10 I would but 5 is as high as I can go. Liz is AMAZING! She is one of the nicest most genuine people I have ever met and has a true passion for her job. When all others told me a morning wedding could not be done she said no problem and it was happily after ever since. I worked with Liz for a year and a half and she always treated me as if my wedding was right around the corner. The bridal trial was perfect and a huge success. When it finally was the wedding day she and her team were early and made me feel like the most beautiful bride in the world. My hair stayed up from 9am until midnight and my make-up was perfect all day. Liz is FANTASTIC and I would work with her again in a second. ABSOLUTELY recommend!!
